Slow Streams

Alright, so I think I'm a pretty decent player by now - but there's one thing I can't figure out how to do well on osu, and it's annoying the heck out of me. As the topic suggests, I cannot do slow streams. Maps like Chaining Intention and Shan Dara Rin beat the crap out of me accuracy-wise. I even have trouble scoring B's on such maps.

I don't really have a problem with streams in general, and my accuracy for most hard-insane maps are in the 93-97% A range.

So, any tips on doing slow streams?

Idk. Try insane. Maybe it might help you with slow stream (unless you're going to single tap it)

Hm... Got 94.73% first try, double tapped.

Iono, I don't really have much problems with slow stuff like that when it's so obvious to hear it in the beat (and only appearing periodically), but the maps that are just pure slow streams (like the ones I posted) just are ;A;

That looks rather easy to single tap. Unless you wanna double tap it :(

also play the many versions of "U.N. Owen was her?" would probably help, the 1/3 streams etc.

I think slow streams are harder too tbh. They only got easier when I played more. You get more control eventually.

Double even slower streams. Stuff you know you can single. Just to get used to the sensation of doubling at a controlled speed. Slow+wide streams can help with this. Lots of maps by Larto use these.

My friend mentioned this problem to me earlier lol, he struggles on slower streams, but does well on fast streams (he's a mouse player, and to my knowledge, only uses 1 finger for streams)

I don't really have a problem with slow streams in-general, I guess it's most streams longer then 3 beats. I tend to fall out of sync after a while (particularly noticeable on this video I just uploaded).

Raise your fingers when playing them, exaggerately high if you want to - that helps a lot.

If it's below 135-140 BPM you should be able to singletap them unless they are ridiculously long, even if you can't just practice it, gonna be helpful in the future. And if you still can't do them just use DT.

Start getting worried if you can't stream between 170-190 since that's the BPM where DTs become ridiculously hard to do (and even streams become REALLY fast), and well if you can't do 200 BPM and stuff (like me :c) you're done until you practice them A LOT because applying DT will make them undoable.
