So i just bought the wacom intuos tablet but when i try to play with it, it feels very slow. My mouse used 1750dpi (lets round it to 1600) so what would give me a similar feeling to it in the tablet?

The pen is different than using a mouse, so the same or similar mouse speed may not be good. You have to experiment. Download the driver for your tablet and adjust the play area. Start with a large play area and make it smaller as you deem necessary. Try to play with the largest area you are comfortable with
