Hey, im new to osu!, And I Have Seen Poeple Talking About PP Farming, so can you guys tell me what it is, and is it bad to do or good?

It's when people play maps strictly for the gaining of PP, and not for fun. cough what I do sometimes cough
And personally I don't think that it is bad or good, then again I have a philosophical view that bad and good don't even exist in the first place so... yeah.
Honestly, just do whatever you like? I basically ignore the community and just do what I want to do. Maybe I'll play some maps just for PP, maybe I'll play some maps for fun.
Also this forum is more for non-osu! related topics, so this thread fits more in Gameplay and Rankings
