01:25:786 (85786|2,85786|3,85947|2) - it's neat that you placed emphasis on the higher tone by stacking but
01:27:399 (87399|2,87560|1) - it died here sadly
you could possibly use a short LN just exclusively for that high-pitched tone but idk thought id bring this up to you nah
issue is regarding the inconsistency in the emphasis, if 01:25:786 (85786|3,85786|2,85947|3) - and 01:27:399 (87399|2,87560|3) - are essentially the same in tone then i don't really understand why they're patterned differently fixed oops, keeping 01:51:754 (111754|0) - tho since flow is more important
&& 01:38:044 (98044|2,98689|2,99334|1) - these would've been fine if there weren't other LNs emphasizing other things
https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9084910 there are other ways to go about representing the sounds here, maybe you should look into that idk how though
its fine now since you cleared out the LNs from before
03:05:141 (185141|1,185141|2,185141|0,185302|3,185463|1,185463|0,185463|2) - 03:04:496 (184496|2,184496|1,184496|3,184657|0,184818|1,184818|2,184818|3) - structurally speaking these are one and the same (only discernible difference is just the transition between these two structurally similar parts), and its easy to lose on the player what a triple is supposed to mean if you allow it to represent two different entities at the same time
the argument here is just "03:04:818 - is pretty much weaker than 03:05:141 - in intensity so its weird that 03:04:818 (184818|2,184818|1,184818|3,185141|0,185141|2,185141|1) - theyre layered the same" i kinda just fleshed out that argument a bit more so its more convincing but idk think i overdid it removed some of the triples on those sections
unrelated but added some really easy SVs at easiest parts of hard diff, felt should at least have someUltima Fox wrote:

Just some quick thoughts on easy
(| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |)also on normal
- 01:27:721 (87721|1,87721|3) - This seems to be the only time you have 2 notes on a normal kick besides for during the buildup here 01:31:592 (91592|0,91592|1) - so I think you should remove the note in 2 fixed!
- 02:39:980 (159980|0,160302|1,160625|3,160947|3,161270|0,161592|1,161915|3,162238|3) - This part seems weird, because the two ascending notes are represented with a jack and the two kicks are represented with ascending notes. I feel like you should change this so that 02:39:980 (159980|0,160302|1) - are both in 1 and 02:40:625 (160625|3,160947|3) - are in 3 and 4 to match the song (and same for 02:41:270 (161270|0,161592|1,161915|3,162238|3) ) woops meant to be other way around since i did that on other diffs lol
lol sorry for bad mod, but hope it helped thanks! clearly explained + all were valid points
- 01:24:496 (84496|1,84496|0,84818|2) - At least to me, it sounds like there should be something in between here yet theres no note. (this applies to all of these parts) just imo if multiple people ask to add then i will then, had 1/1s to be better for spread
- 03:05:786 (185786|3,185786|1,186109|0,186270|1,186431|0,186431|2) - Patterns like these might be a little too hard for people who play normals, but I think it might be okay I tried to keep roughly same density as this set https://osu.ppy.sh/b/778353

- I would definitely cut the MP3 to save a bit on file size. 1:21 minutes + 21 seconds = 1:42 total of no playing time, while we have 1:44 seconds of playing time.
- Either map more or cut cause 50:50 ratio is pretty staggering
EZ 01:31:270 (91270|2) - LN this. Would help add some kind of pause/bounce effect on 01:31:592 (91592|0,91592|1) I think it is okay to leave 01:31:431 empty since the sound happens only once during the intro and noting it along with this LN suggestion might be too hard. added LN
01:32:560 (92560|1) - I would use a single note here instead + a note 01:32:721 - to 1) match the structure 01:24:173 (84173|3,84334|2,84496|1,84496|0) and 2) to map that snare on the blue tick. first one ends on a clap, second one ends on a downbeat, adding note too dense for EZ + maps wub
01:38:689 - Add second note here for the claps. Example) 01:34:818 (94818|2,94818|3) Good idea, but here I wanted to focus horn more. Makes the LNs more distinct and better emphasis on the change at 01:41:270 (101270|1) -
01:39:657 - Add note
01:39:980 (99980|0) - Add second note here for the claps.
>>
01:29:334 (89334|3,89496|2,89657|0,89657|1) - Maybe have this one ascending and...
01:34:496 (94496|0,94657|1,94818|2,94818|3) - descending...
That way the 3 patterns will be --> descend, ascend, descend instead of descend, descend, ascend. good idea, changed first instead so ascend, descend, ascend
>>
01:37:883 - Note? fits but would mess with the horn emphasis i mentioned before
01:41:915 (101915|2) - Maybe make this an 1/1 LN for the rising synth? The synth is sidechained at 01:42:560 and then recovers at 01:42:883 so if we add the LN here it feels cool. fits, but compare how LNs are used, they're only on really unique sounds + horn
01:48:205 - Note? doesn't fit before large downbeat
01:50:947 (110947|1,110947|0,111270|3) - These both should be the same, either both chords or a single note. Take your pick. one has the horn, they aren't the same
01:58:528 - Note? in future mods, just paste the timestamp like this below
(not a mod) 01:37:883 - 01:48:205 - 01:58:528 - takes less space since it's the same thing + easier for both people to read
02:03:850 - Personally, and I don't play mania so I don't know if it's acceptable or not, but I'd use a really long ass LN here for the entire break section. xD lmao no
>>
03:10:141 - How about this? https://imgur.com/a/EJ16D 1/4 LN is too much for ez
02:49:496 and 03:10:141 are mapped differently. yea noticed i missed a note on the snare with previous point
I would do my suggestion because I don't believe the LN 03:10:302 (190302|0) works best for that particular moment and also 2-note chord to represent the snare.NM 01:26:109 - Would it be too weird to put a 1/2 LN here for that air noise? nah, some might but personal style I only like to follow the clearest melody
01:36:431 - Same as ^
01:32:560 - What's the difference between this and 01:42:883 for the first one to not have an LN? used a jack in first one to follow drum, adding LN would be too much for NM. In second there is no drum, so I used two LN to highligh the wub sound
01:45:786 (105786|0) - Shouldn't one of these be an LN? Example) 01:45:786 (105786|0) - 01:48:367 (108367|3) - 01:50:947 (110947|2) yea missed those lul, ty
01:51:592 - One of these should be an LN, whistle sound whistle isn't dominant yet
01:51:915 - LN, whistle sound
02:03:850 - Same as EZ
03:15:463 (195463|3) - No LN needed here. Every LN in the kiai so far have either been strings or squelchy bass thingy, this is neither of them. changed pattern to be same as other one
Good luck. will finish up your mod soon, thank you!

Your offsets negative, don't do this. Bubbles get popped because of this no they don't
Leaving the first third of the song unmapped is kind of weird. I get why you did it and it's not against the RC because it's the intro but it's still weird. Adds almost 2MB to the folder size which is pretty significant for poor connections like me. You could easily cut out the first 60 seconds and start it where the quiet section is around 1:05
Some hitsound inconsistencies between diffs for example here, also don't double hitsound like this fixed
softclap.wav blends in way too much with the song. I can barely hear it at all when it's used and I generally have my effects volume pretty high up. Swap it out for something a little more noticeable replaced with a higher pitched/louder version
Tags conflict between diffs fixed
Not sure why there's an .osb when there's no storyboard i don't think there's one, but it's gone
There's a nosv.osu in the folder which is not visible in game, no idea how this happened but it needs to go. Plop it in the map description or something also gone
Hitsounds in general are very simplistic. For example 01:37:399 (97399|2) - a very different sound here but only the basic clap is used and is hence pretty much invisible this is drum-hitclap, all others are soft-hitclap
Some weird hitsound choices that i'm not sure are intentional or not (for the insane) you swap to the second soft sample set at 2:24:657 and then proceed to use whistles randomly despite them having no hitsound file attached to them, so it's just a blank sound which is definitely unrankable. As far as I can tell this is the only time you use the second sampleset and I dont know why its included. i'm using the default soft-hitwhistle
drum-hitclap.wav seems to be unused, remove it. it's used for the whole kiai
Not going to delve into the patterns because I think this is toodeepforme. Lots of ghost notes like 02:49:980 (169980|1,170141|1) - (in the insane) that dont make much sense at all. there's a really audible sound on that
Seems like a solid map that's had a lot of thought put into the patterning but not much else. most of those "not much else" issues are addressed here though so it's not a difficult fix. Good luck!

alot of these are the same but i feel its very important to highlight all ( or at least i tried t ) of the 1/8s because they dont feel that fun to play. it's just 186 bpm 1/4, discussed in discord that it's really not an issue imo
The songs pretty cool, i disagree with the unmapped portion and break time although i get its rankable so im not going to question it further. i was going to ironically map the opening section to show just how boring it would be to play but it was to boring for me to finish it
the 1/8s were painful to hit and the svs feel off (i dont know much about svs) made it super easy to misjudge when the next note was coming.

01:28:528 (88528|0) - should that be on 4 and then 01:28:689 (88689|2,88850|3) - moved one to the left? prefer the 3/4 2/1 pattern
01:29:980 (89980|0) - move to 4 and maybe move 01:29:818 (89818|2) - to 2 or even 1 prefer pattern as is
01:30:463 (90463|0,90625|2,90786|1) - 4|1|2 avoiding jack on lane 4, reserved for highlights
I feel like 01:31:270 (91270|2,91431|2) - should be in column 2 due to it being a completely different sound to 01:30:947 (90947|3,91109|3) - and thus deserving it's own hand to play it on I'm using the jack here to evoke a sense that it's completely different to the previous patterns, if it was on a different lane it would play normally
01:31:754 (91754|3,91915|1) - 1|3 only using jacks on important sounds
01:32:560 (92560|1,92721|1) - two different pitches sounds are both snares and really unique compared to rest of the song
01:34:173 (94173|0,94334|1) - descending? I would but that would just be a 4,3,2,1 which isn't too appropriate for the diff
01:38:850 (98850|0,99012|1,99173|3) - 4|1|3
01:40:141 (100141|3,100302|2) - ascending? changed pattern
01:42:076 (102076|2,102238|1) - 1|4 again, no jacks unless needed
01:42:883 (102883|2,102963|1,103044|2,103125|1) - make these mini LNs to represent the sudden change in pace too technical xP the trill is already unique
01:44:899 (104899|1) - 01:44:926 - instead? considering the rest of this song's fills seem to be in 1/12 1/8 snap otherwise it's way too technical
01:45:463 (105463|0,105463|3,105625|1,105786|2,105786|0) - ctrl-H would have a 1/4 trill on 3|4 that's too long
01:46:109 (106109|3) - move to 3 i don't think the sound it produces has a place in the 4th slot and feels more comfortable sitting in 3rd ok
01:47:480 (107480|0) - another possible 1/12 note nop
01:47:641 - sound here that i guess you chose to ignore, maybe make a mini LN to represent it's there without adding unnecessary complexity You can hear the crackle of the stone or whatever it is a lot through the set, I chose not to follow it or it started mis-representing what I wanted to follow in the music.
01:48:044 (108044|2,108205|3) - i feel the difference in pitch between these two notes is great enough where 01:48:044 (108044|2) - can be in column 1 yup, moved
01:50:060 (110060|2) - 1/12 etc
01:51:754 (111754|0) - move to column 2 as the music suggests it doesn't fit in line with any of the other notes that came beforehand it's more I'm just limited on space here, this is the best option to keep playability
01:51:915 (111915|1) - move that to 1 if you wish it's up to you considering this last change
01:52:641 (112641|1) - 1/12 etc
01:53:205 (113205|3,113259|2,113313|1,113367|0,113420|3,113474|2) - not sure if you can get away with the sounds for this, only really 01:53:367 (113367|0,113420|3,113474|2) - is audible and that's barely audible this is correctly mapped for a wub sound like this, I referenced a couple other ranked tech maps when trying to find how to do this
01:54:334 (114334|2) - should that be a double? feels strong same as 01:44:012 (104012|1) -
01:54:818 (114818|1) - move to 3?
01:55:221 (115221|2) - more 1/12
01:57:480 - ignored sound too technical if I mapped it
01:57:802 (117802|2) - 1/12
01:58:850 (118850|3,119012|0) - swap these around ok
01:59:980 (119980|3) - move to 3 made a jack instead
02:00:383 (120383|1) - 1/12
02:26:431 (146431|1,146592|0) - swap these two around? lane 2 too empty for me
02:27:560 (147560|3) - 1 and 02:27:721 (147721|0) - 3 swapping from 4 to 1 also provides emphasis, doesn't need to be 100% pitch related
02:29:012 (149012|1,149173|0) - swap these two around same
check through the rest of those LNs yourself they give me a headache
02:45:705 - sound not mapping it
02:49:496 (169496|2,169576|0) - feels like it deserves more than just single notes, maybe a double jack on [12] yes but I need consistency with the next kiai + becomes unplayable
02:51:324 (171324|1,171377|2,171431|3) - descending?
02:54:818 (174818|1) - move to 3 it just looks a lot better ok
02:56:028 - sound same
03:05:463 (185463|2,185463|1,185463|0) - just put like lns of different length here I prefer not having anything for the pause
03:06:109 (186109|1,186270|1,186431|1) - not sure how i feel about this being on the same hand as the LN good point, swaped
03:08:931 (188931|2) - ayyy you mapped it  it's only on that sound, consistent with other kiais
03:11:915 (191915|0,192036|1) - interesting design change halfway through had to compromise, would prefer notes but swapped to LN because there's no space with the mega LNs
03:13:850 (193850|1,194012|1,194173|1) - again with the triples

- 01:42:560 - missing W uh W should be deleted on normal
- 01:45:786 - if you wanna make this single, you should change 01:50:947 - cause it's same thing actually.
01:48:367 - has sound effect so double is fine tho. but 01:53:528 - is same thing so you can add one note here too.- 02:39:980 - missing W It's a pretty different sound, no W needed

- 01:39:818 (99818|3) - wrong hitsound, should be deleted
- 01:41:270 - 01:41:915 - the snap is weird. 1/8 snap at Normal, 1/8 LN + 1/12 rice at Hard, 1/12 LN and rice at Insane. for simplicity, using only 1/12 is good method tho There's 4 sounds, but it starts on the 1/8 .-. I used 1/12 snap since it's the only snap that can do 4 notes here. For normal I did 1/8 since that's more accurate to the sound. + This is really a 1/4 due to bpm

02:25:302 (145302|2) - 02:26:431 (146431|0) - 02:28:528 (148528|0) - etc removed the LNs- 02:29:334 (149334|0) - rather than focusing this sound, I suggest to make this structure as above you express. melody line + bass line. didn't apply above
- 02:48:367 - missing C
- 02:49:496 - missing W
- 02:49:576 - missing W
- 02:49:657 - only hard has W sound, should be removed
- 02:51:592 - missing W
- 02:57:399 - missing C
- 02:59:980 - only hard has W sound, should be removed
- 03:15:463 - there are same sound as 02:54:818 - etc, but they don't have any hitsound so you should remove this
- 03:20:625 - only hard has C sound, should be removed
- 01:26:431 - missing W
- 01:37:883 - missing W
- 01:41:592 - 01:41:754 - Note snap is 1/16 but SV snap is 1/12, seems weird. Changed snapping, I now think this is 1/12
- 01:43:205 - missing W
- 01:53:205 - missing W
- 02:03:850 - missing W
- 02:24:496 - add C
- 02:44:872 (164872|1) - different snap with hard, 1/16 snap is better tho
- 02:45:786 - C/W, not C/C
- 03:05:463 - 03:05:786 - 2.0x × 1 + 0.1x × 3 + 0.3x × 1 + 0.5x × 1 + 1.0x × 1 + 4.93x × 1 = 9.03x, 13% faster than normal speed. reduce the last sv can resolve this problem, just 4.93x -> 3.90x. It makes this part 8.00x, same as 1.0x
- 03:09:012 - missing W

I changed some of the triples on insane in both start and kiai.TheToaphster wrote:
Heyyooooo, I'll make a post here because I told myself I'd do it on every qualified map if necessary.
There are some small things that are iffy imo about the map like the SV thing right around 02:34:657 There's a high pitch sound on 02:34:496 (154496|3) - ,
slightly accelerating into 02:34:657 (154657|2) - fits it best. and some minor consistency issues - but it's not too important to be completely honest.
Nice map! Is really fun, and the SVs are used pretty nicely for the most part. Congratz!
Updated, thanks for the mod!FAMoss wrote:

- 01:24:334 (84334|2) - 01:29:496 (89496|3) - 01:31:431 (91431|2) - why do you use drum samples here, and why not use from custom samples only? like W | maybe for the above is also like this too I'm using the default drum hitnormal, That's how you do it in standard/ctb, they work fine for mania.
- 02:03:850 (123850|3) - ups. you are using a normal sample here, better to change it to auto fixed
- 02:40:625 (160625|2,160625|1,160947|2,160947|3) -
uhh, why you put two samples on 1 note, but it can be applied to 2 notes, and here too 02:41:915 (161915|1,161915|2,162238|2,162238|3) - I wanted to still hear the soft-hitnormal, only hearing it half the time would be weird, so better to move these hitsounds over to the same note.- 02:49:657 (169657|1) - ups. you are using a normal sample here, better to change it to auto All of these are intentionally using osu's default normal-hitnormal.
- 03:26:431 - how about to add 1 F on col 4, to the end? to make it better ^ It's out of place with the second half
wow that was fastWeber wrote:
