16:01 Raiden: Yo, sir.
16:01 Surono: Yii
16:02 Raiden: Mind d0ing a quick testplay on a recent map of mine?
16:02 Raiden: I am experimenting with a more improvised style.
16:02 Surono: Ura Oni :1000:
16:02 Raiden: (:
16:08 Surono: topbege
16:15 Raiden: Hm?

16:17 Raiden: ??
16:25 Surono: 02:19:570 - ~ 02:19:982 - try to make it similar 02:18:911 - this? ( kdkdkk colors ) somehow the tremolo are not differ, then choose 02:20:065 - 02:20:147 - one of these.. i think theres needed emphasiz cat
16:27 Raiden: I can't understand this
16:29 Surono: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9040035
16:30 Raiden: So repeat the same pattern twice?
16:31 Surono: cuz the current feels overemphasize imo , then (63) or (64) emphasized with kat
16:31 Raiden: "overemphasize"?
16:32 Raiden: 61-65's guitar does lo-hi-lo-lo-hi
16:33 Raiden: so dkddk is perfectly reasonable there.
16:34 Raiden: I can't grasp the logic of "overemphasize". I think the current patterning is more varied and still gets the base structuration just fine
16:41 Raiden: Whoops. Typos in the Source lol.
16:41 Surono: .
16:41 Surono: XDD
16:42 Surono: variation dem, 03:23:609 - I think its not necessary to be kat, don would be better with the guitar as the noticeable high sound are mostly start from 03:23:856 - here.
16:45 Surono: ,.
16:46 Raiden: ?
16:47 Surono: dem conection.....
16:47 Surono: variation dem, 03:23:609 - I think its not necessary to be kat, don would be better with the guitar as the noticeable high sound are mostly start from 03:23:856 - here.

Hello, possible M4M. ;)

[Ura Oni]
  1. 01:09:681 - The drums are continuous and it'll provide a nice build-up to the lead guitar entrance, since the patterns mostly follow the drums, I think a stream will fit here better instead of some divided patterns.
  2. 01:41:549 (7) - I recommend turning this to a don. The guitar pitch change on 01:41:549 (7,8) - these two is more than 01:41:439 (6,7) - these two and the snare sounds start on 01:41:659 (8) - this. Making 01:41:549 (7,8) - these both kats does not emphasize enough 01:41:659 - this high guitar sound so, changing it to don will provide a better pattern.
  3. 02:03:087 - How about messing up the SV like you did on 01:41:329 - here?
  4. 02:08:444 - I think you can add a don. You used two notes and three notes respectively on each beat start, so adding a don will help you to keep that structure going.
  5. 02:16:933 (25,26,27,28,29,30) - Instead of a kdkkdkd, I recommend kkddkkd, because of the simplicity on the guitar. It somehow doesn't fit to the melody, neither guitar nor drums. Making this one a bit simple will provide a better flow.
  6. 02:22:620 (30,31) - Ctrl + g? Will follow the drums better.
  7. 02:28:719 (6) - This one is not that important. But, changing it to don will follow the guitar better, i mean, you'll emphasize the higher sounds with kats better.
  8. 02:49:570 - Those keyboard sounds are barely noticeable. Even though it fits well, it can fit better if you follow guitar and drums. The 1/3 patterns that are keyboard related should be changed if you accept this.
  9. 03:03:746 - A simple kdddkkdd will fit to this stream, due to the guitar. If you think it won't be emphasized enough, you can also try kkddkkkd.
  10. 03:38:774 - The drums and the guitar is continuous like everywhere else. I don't see a reason to split this stream, so I suggest adding a don here.
  11. 04:46:603 - You emphasized the same drum attack with 1/4 1/6 here. And, since you're mixing the instruments that you've follow, I think you can make 04:25:504 - this part similiar to the one I showed.
  12. 04:55:504 - A 1/6 kkkd would fit here instead of 1/4 kkd. You mapped some places like that.

I enjoyed this map a lot, the streams and patterns are already good, so take these as suggestions, since I didn't see a major error on this map. I hope my mod helps you :^)

Good luck, keep mapping metal! \m/

  1. 01:09:681 - The drums are continuous and it'll provide a nice build-up to the lead guitar entrance, since the patterns mostly follow the drums, I think a stream will fit here better instead of some divided patterns. Suddenly exceeding the 3-5 patterning to go on a full stream is not necessary to build up the momentum in my opinion. The already increased density on 5-7 patterning is a sufficient indicator that a new stanza is coming up.
  2. 01:41:549 (7) - I recommend turning this to a don. Agreed, changed.
  3. 02:03:087 - How about messing up the SV like you did on 01:41:329 - here? These don't have the crescendo-decresendo feeling the previous one had, so I think SV changes are not appropriate here.
  4. 02:08:444 - I think you can add a don. You used two notes and three notes respectively on each beat start, so adding a don will help you to keep that structure going. You are correct. Fixed.
  5. 02:16:933 (25,26,27,28,29,30) - Instead of a kdkkdkd, I recommend kkddkkd, because of the simplicity on the guitar. It somehow doesn't fit to the melody, neither guitar nor drums. Making this one a bit simple will provide a better flow. I would leave this on hold, if more people say about this I will change. For now, such patterning is intended as there are times where these are not exactly following a layer, but enhancing it.
  6. 02:22:620 (30,31) - Ctrl + g? Will follow the drums better. As I said, I am not exactly following the layer. Besides, following drums would need me to switch most of those to dons.
  7. 02:28:719 (6) - This one is not that important. But, changing it to don will follow the guitar better, i mean, you'll emphasize the higher sounds with kats better. I think the current kat patterning emphasizes better the guitar having more eighth-notes there.
  8. 02:49:570 - Those keyboard sounds are barely noticeable. Even though it fits well, it can fit better if you follow guitar and drums. The 1/3 patterns that are keyboard related should be changed if you accept this.Intentional, those are staying yes or yes. lol
  9. 03:03:746 - A simple kdddkkdd will fit to this stream, due to the guitar. If you think it won't be emphasized enough, you can also try kkddkkkd.I can see your reasoning. But kdkkd doesn't underemphasize guitar, either. And provides a more hand movement challenge than kdddkkd.
  10. 03:38:774 - The drums and the guitar is continuous like everywhere else. I don't see a reason to split this stream, so I suggest adding a don here. I started the stream half a beat later instead, when the snares kick in. I prefer having separated streams to give a more sparce feeling. Plus, I've done this multiple times later (see 03:50:312 - ). I will however keep this into consideration, as it is responded in red.
  11. 04:46:603 - You emphasized the same drum attack with 1/4 1/6 here. And, since you're mixing the instruments that you've follow, I think you can make 04:25:504 - this part similiar to the one I showed. I will also keep this one into consideration. Main reason for denying this is simplicity. On the others I can simply do (dddk)d(dddk) but in here the main guitar notes are going 3/4 rhythm, and I believe it would be too much for what I intended with this map.
  12. 04:55:504 - A 1/6 kkkd would fit here instead of 1/4 kkd. You mapped some places like that. You are right, but fixed revamping the pattern to have a simple (dddk) accompanied by other notes.

I enjoyed this map a lot, the streams and patterns are already good, so take these as suggestions, since I didn't see a major error on this map. I hope my mod helps you :^)

Good luck, keep mapping metal! \m/
