Mapped for fun (no hisounds yet)
blobdash

Yummy nummies

in my tummies
15:37 Smolboi: so if i were to recomend one good habit of mapping that i subscribe to
15:37 Smolboi: it would be set up general spacings before you start mapping, and figure out your rules beforehand
15:37 Smolboi: basically
15:37 Smolboi: look at the map
15:38 Smolboi: and decide how you are going to map everything before you do it
15:38 Smolboi: or at the very least
15:38 Smolboi: set some ground rules
15:38 Gokateigo: that's what I tried to do (a little bit)
15:38 Gokateigo: only with SVs tho
15:38 Smolboi: like, "all these sections are going to be .25 SV higher"
15:38 Smolboi: and
15:39 Smolboi: "i'm, going to use 1x spacing for regular things and 1.5 for lound sounds
15:39 Smolboi: or
15:40 Smolboi: figure out how far apart you want to space objects
15:40 Smolboi: like
15:40 Smolboi: 00:39:953 (3,4,5,6) - 00:41:153 (3,4,5,6) - 00:42:353 (3,4,5,6) - there's big differences between how these are spaced
15:41 Smolboi: even though there's not much of a difference intensity wise
15:41 Smolboi: 00:49:553 (3,4,5,6) - and this is the only time you use this pattern in the whole section
15:42 Smolboi: 00:53:153 (3,4,5,6) - 3 and 5 are closer together than all the other objects
15:42 Smolboi: all these small details add up
15:42 Smolboi: if you can keep all your loose ends tied and keep you map set to some rules
15:42 Gokateigo: 00:53:153 (3,4,5,6) - I stole this from rrtyui's map
15:42 Gokateigo: looked good
15:43 Smolboi: then it comes out looking much cleaner
15:43 Gokateigo: I see
15:43 Smolboi: do you have any spesific questions
15:43 Gokateigo: hm no
15:43 Smolboi: because i won'r be very good at a proper mod here
15:44 Gokateigo: 03:00:203 (3,4) - is this ok
15:44 Gokateigo: I don't know the real limits with kickslider
15:44 Gokateigo: and emphasis
15:44 Smolboi: do you think it represents the intensity properly?
15:44 Smolboi: because this is something you need to learn
15:44 Smolboi: it doesn't matter what other people think
15:45 Gokateigo: looks ok for me but I think A lot of people will disagree
15:45 Smolboi: what matters is if YOU can back up your mapping descisions with a reasonable argument
15:45 Smolboi: if you can explain to a BN why you did something with sound logic
15:45 Smolboi: then it is ok
15:45 Smolboi: all else is irrelevent
15:46 Smolboi: of course, if it's too extreme, you will have trouble finding a BN who agrees with you
15:46 Smolboi: but you will eventually find one that does
15:46 Smolboi: as long as you are confident in your own descisions
15:46 Gokateigo: If it's only a few patterns with a good logic behind them I guess it's ok
15:47 Smolboi: side note
15:47 Smolboi: 01:11:753 (1,2,1) -
15:47 Smolboi: please don't use high SV for calm sections of map
15:47 Smolboi: you are not rrtyui
15:47 Smolboi: you are not hollow wings
15:47 Smolboi: you are better than that
15:48 Smolboi: well not literally
15:48 Gokateigo: the voice is higher here
15:48 Gokateigo: the sv is higher
15:48 Gokateigo: it's the highest sv I used for the vocals
15:49 Smolboi: i say it's too high
15:49 Smolboi: but i see your logic
15:51 *Gokateigo is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1444673 Akira Complex - World Collapse]
15:51 Gokateigo: sounds cool
15:51 Gokateigo: I'll map it
15:51 Smolboi: no more questions?
15:51 Gokateigo: nope
15:52 Smolboi: aight
15:52 Gokateigo: I'll try to apply this for World collapse
15:52 Smolboi: i don't know why i'd bother posting this because kudos is prob gonna get removed but whatever

[A Slight Case of Space-Time Continuum Disorder]
00:38:153 - till this point add custom silent sliderslide hitsound and make hitobjects volume much lower
also in some other less louder places in your map hs volume should also be lower
00:26:153 (1,1,1,1,1) - no need for so many NCs
01:02:153 (1,2) - you didn't use overlapped sliders like these before so imo you should make them separate
01:04:853 (2) - ^ a bit
01:16:553 (3) - could even be placed further
01:21:353 (1) - if you use stacking for 1/2 objects then pls make 1/4 overlap like streams
01:35:528 (2,3) - overmapped
01:46:028 (2) - ^ no sound
02:32:753 (3) - blanket better
02:42:203 - missed sound
04:22:028 (10) - NC like 04:20:753 (1) - here
actually I feel NCs in this kiai are not very consistant

Nice map, GL ;)

Hey, from my queue.

A Slight Case of Space-Time Continuum Disorder
00:19:403 (2) - The little loop on this slider looks really bad in my opinion.

01:47:753 (1) - ^

02:42:053 (1) - This slider is mapped over a beat.

03:40:178 (4) - The high pitched sound you're following starts here. Maybe move this object a little bit closer to the next stream?

04:00:653 (1,2,3,4) - The stream here has pretty high spacing for such a quiet sound.

04:33:803 (1,2) - This flows pretty awkwardly in my opinion, maybe move (2) a little more to the left and just a tad bit closer to (4)?

04:45:953 (1) - Again I think this has pretty awkward flow. Consider rotating this slider by 15 degrees or so on Selection center.

04:52:253 (1,2,3,4) - Maybe this stream should start to space out the louder the music gets. Right now it feels pretty overmapped.

04:53:453 (1,2,3,4) - ^

And that's all I could spot, mostly just personal opinions and whatnot.
Super cool map tho.

Good Luck

I didn't hidsound this but yeah
00:26:153 (1,1,1,1,1) - no need for so many NCs
fixed
01:02:153 (1,2) - you didn't use overlapped sliders like these before so imo you should make them separate
the sound is pretty weak here so I overlapped them
01:04:853 (2) - ^ a bit
same
01:16:553 (3) - could even be placed further
true
01:21:353 (1) - if you use stacking for 1/2 objects then pls make 1/4 overlap like streams
?
01:35:528 (2,3) - overmapped
fixed
01:46:028 (2) - ^ no sound
there is a sound here
02:32:753 (3) - blanket better
fixed
02:42:203 - missed sound
fixed rythm in this part
04:22:028 (10) - NC like 04:20:753 (1) - here
fixed

yes but the sound is higherr at the 1 + there is another sound in the bg at the beggining of the second part of the stream
