Hello, this is a Crimmod, please accept or reject this mod in any way you see fit and if I sound harsh or a bit harsh in my judgement of your map, then I apologize in advance.

General (Metadata, Timing, etc.)

_________________________________________________________

  1. Your BG is 1635 x 1200, I suggest finding a similar BG with at least 1920 x 1200 or 1366 x 768 etc.
  2. "U & I (TV Size).mp3" is 210kbps, re-encode it to 192 pls.
  3. Recheck your tags, tags such as "K-ON!! HO-KAGO TEA TIME U & I (TV Size)" shouldn't be there since they are used as the Source, Artist & Title respectively.
  4. Add [ Marley ] to the tags in every difficulty since he/she made a difficulty for you, also HTT since it's short for the artist and most people will search that if they are too lazy to type the whole artist.

Insane

  1. OD +1
  2. 00:00:439 (1,2) - I am not sure of this, the reaction time for this even at the beginning of the map is a tad bit too much, I should consider changing the slider into a circle.
  3. 00:00:581 (2,3,4,5) - Suggestion.
  4. 00:01:152 (1) - Sliders like these you should try and blanket around notes like these -> HERE! There are more to mention but double check 'em and you'll see what I am talking about.
  5. 00:02:295 (4,2) - There is an overlap here, I suggest you check on it, plus remember what I said earlier about blanketing?
  6. 00:10:867 (3,1,2,3) - I don't hear anything that warrants a jump between these notes if they are, they are kind of weak imo.
  7. 00:12:295 (7) - Stack under (4,5).
  8. 00:13:295 (2,3,4,5,6) - Check the spacing between (3,4,5), also here's a suggestion on that triangle: HERE
  9. 00:13:724 (1,2,3,4) - Those whistles at the sliderends sound a bit distasteful, please consider removing them.
  10. 00:32:581 (8,9) - These doesn't really play well, perhaps shortening (8) and changing (9) into simple notes would suffice.
  11. 01:00:581 (7,1) - Add a NC to (7) and remove it from (1).
  12. 01:02:581 (1,2) - Same thing here, remove the NC from (1) and add it to (2).
  13. 01:05:152 (6,1) - ^
  14. 01:07:438 (7,1) - ^
  15. 01:09:724 (9) - Add a new combo here, you are starting up the chorus.
  16. 01:26:867 (4,5,6,7) - Like earlier, remove those whistles from the sliderends, please.
  17. 01:32:581 (1) - Slider end is unsnapped.
  18. 01:37:152 (1) - ^
  19. 01:42:867 (4,2) - Check that over lap.
  20. 01:49:724 (1,2,3,4) - Whistles again xD
  21. 01:50:581 (4) - I would make this a note, bringing the spinner back onto the red tick and end it on 01:53:367 (x) instead having a random slider at the end.

Alrighty, looks like you have some fixing to do, it's not horrible for a first try but double check your spacing, NC'ing and emphasis on jumps at certain moments of the song, wish you the best on your set. :D

  1. Your BG is 1635 x 1200, I suggest finding a similar BG with at least 1920 x 1200 or 1366 x 768 etc. <Fixed
  2. "U & I (TV Size).mp3" is 210kbps, re-encode it to 192 pls. < the encoding should be fine> this is the same mp3 used in an already ranked map and I got permission to use it
  3. Recheck your tags, tags such as "K-ON!! HO-KAGO TEA TIME U & I (TV Size)" shouldn't be there since they are used as the Source, Artist & Title respectively. <Fixed

  1. OD +1 okay
  2. 00:00:439 (1,2) - I am not sure of this, the reaction time for this even at the beginning of the map is a tad bit too much, I should consider changing the slider into a circle. < Changed it to a triplet in attempt to make it easier for players
  3. 00:00:581 (2,3,4,5) - Suggestion. <Did a little adjustment
  4. 00:01:152 (1) - Sliders like these you should try and blanket around notes like these -> HERE! There are more to mention but double check 'em and you'll see what I am talking about. <Fixed here but don't want to do too many blankets> I like the randomness but I will apply them where they make sense
  5. 00:02:295 (4,2) - There is an overlap here, I suggest you check on it, plus remember what I said earlier about blanketing? < Yep and Fixed
  6. 00:10:867 (3,1,2,3) - I don't hear anything that warrants a jump between these notes if they are, they are kind of weak imo. < Bass solo op> I shortened the distance of the jumps to make it feel weaker
  7. 00:12:295 (7) - Stack under (4,5). <Moved out of stack
  8. 00:13:295 (2,3,4,5,6) - Check the spacing between (3,4,5), also here's a suggestion on that triangle: HERE<Fixed
  9. 00:13:724 (1,2,3,4) - Those whistles at the sliderends sound a bit distasteful, please consider removing them. <Removed them from the slider ends, left whistles on their heads though
  10. 00:32:581 (8,9) - These doesn't really play well, perhaps shortening (8) and changing (9) into simple notes would suffice. < Don't know how I messed that up> I fixed the rhythm with something a little different
  11. 01:00:581 (7,1) - Add a NC to (7) and remove it from (1).<Fixed
  12. 01:02:581 (1,2) - Same thing here, remove the NC from (1) and add it to (2).<Fixed

Thank you for the mod Crimmi!
tzechi
M4M plz? :3 i think its unfair for me to mod your 1:42 while you mod my marathon so i'll try to mod all diffs tho i only mod extra/insane normally e-e
my apologies if i sound strict e_e

Insane
the insane would look really nice if it was polished in terms of aesthetics and slider forms
i would probably try using the tools provided in the editor more like copy and paste, rotate, scale... you should check out other people's maps you like and try using theirs

00:00:444 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - might wanna make these notes softer than the rest of the map
00:01:158 (1,1) - these are simple sliders, you should probably use only 3 nodes unless you're aiming for some aesthetic thing
00:01:158 (1,2) - try not to do stuff like this where there are 2 similar sliders in the same direction, in same style back to back, especially like this. it's the opposite of symmetry which looks nice
00:03:873 (2) - sliders like this have too much curve btw,
00:10:587 (2,3) - overlaps are ok but this one doesn't represent the music that well
00:10:301 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this section is pretty slider heavy, i'd recommend copy and paste the same slider and rotating it throughout for consistent aesthetics
00:13:730 (1,2,3,4) - try hitsounding the sliderhead instead of the sliderend
00:17:587 (1,3) - would recommend keeping these straight and changing location, short sliders like these (head and end overlapping) in a bend is pretty unnoticable in play aaand it looks ugly o_o
00:18:016 (3,4,5) - see 00:01:158 (1,2) mod
00:19:158 (1,2) - random distance increase
00:33:158 (3) - why 3 nodes on a simple slider? o_o
00:34:730 - you can place a note here to the guitar, that space feels awkward
01:13:730 (6,7) - see 00:01:158
01:21:873 (2,3) - blanket better

Global Mod (mods that affects the entire map)
  1. i think the hitsounding is fundamentally flawed. all your circles basically have a clap on them, which... is weird
  2. aesthetically it's flawed as well, try practicing symmetry in some patterns, it will make your map look much better. your sliders are pretty inconsistent too.
  3. in rhythm terms, it's also pretty flawed. sliders and circles place emphasis on different things. e.g.sliders should end on notes which are less intense/stronger than their slider head.

the insane would look really nice if it was polished in terms of aesthetics and slider forms
i would probably try using the tools provided in the editor more like copy and paste, rotate, scale... you should check out other people's maps you like and try using theirs > I don't like copy and pasting> it makes mapping feel lazy, I like having everything random> although you are probably right that it would make the map "look much better"
00:00:444 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - might wanna make these notes softer than the rest of the map Fixed
00:01:158 (1,1) - these are simple sliders, you should probably use only 3 nodes unless you're aiming for some aesthetic thing tbh I haven't given nodes much thought but sure
00:01:158 (1,2) - try not to do stuff like this where there are 2 similar sliders in the same direction, in same style back to back, especially like this. it's the opposite of symmetry which looks nice I could never make them symmetrical because of their different lengths and imo I like how random they are
00:03:873 (2) - sliders like this have too much curve btw, made it less curvy
00:10:587 (2,3) - overlaps are ok but this one doesn't represent the music that well > fixed
00:10:301 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this section is pretty slider heavy, i'd recommend copy and paste the same slider and rotating it throughout for consistent aesthetics
I like how the sliders land on the high pitch guitar sounds also I like random shapes and curves for sliders, having them copy and pasted is boring
00:13:730 (1,2,3,4) - try hitsounding the sliderhead instead of the sliderend Fixed why didn't I think of this before?
00:17:587 (1,3) - would recommend keeping these straight and changing location, short sliders like these (head and end overlapping) in a bend is pretty unnoticable in play aaand it looks ugly o_o I think I fixed it ( did some rotating and made them straight
00:18:016 (3,4,5) - see 00:01:158 (1,2) mod
00:19:158 (1,2) - random distance increase < I wanted to emphasize the vocal entering again
00:33:158 (3) - why 3 nodes on a simple slider? o_o Again I never pay much attention to nodes but thankyou, I will be paying more attention to them now
00:34:730 - you can place a note here to the guitar, that space feels awkward fixed
01:13:730 (6,7) - see 00:01:158 mhm but I like that
01:21:873 (2,3) - blanket betterChanged it all together
i think the hitsounding is fundamentally flawed. all your circles basically have a clap on them, which... is weird I agree going to do something about it
aesthetically it's flawed as well, try practicing symmetry in some patterns, it will make your map look much better. your sliders are pretty inconsistent too. sliders are very inconsistent because I was following the idea of having their heads land on significant vocals and having their tails land on percussion instruments but yea I need to work on that
in rhythm terms, it's also pretty flawed. sliders and circles place emphasis on different things. e.g.sliders should end on not
es which are less intense/stronger than their slider head I tried making their heads always land on only significant parts of music and letting their tails land on sounds that shouldn't be emphasized?.[/list]
Thanks for the mod Pencil-kun!!!
