The map is actually weird, though I know that you are new mapper so you have potential. I'd like to stop here because all general problems are repeating in all diffs, I would tell you more things like rythms patterns, but that will be like 1km mod ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Good luck with this map and I wish you luck in the mapping career, I hope you can become better because you have some potential as I told before.

Hello from my queue!

  1. Just as a point your slider shapes are kinda weird. It might be stylistic but consider making them a little more evened out.
  2. Consider not making the volume 50% all the way through, vary it up depending on the tone of the song
  3. Decide on a style. For example, there's no change in the music here 00:11:237 (1) - to warrant a change in slider type (angled to curved) but you changed it anyways. Maybe try going for a style
  4. 00:26:437 (2,3) - These feel really out of place. No need to make the SV so high on these
  5. 00:35:237 (1,2,1,2) - All four of these can be blanketed a bit better
  6. 00:46:837 (2,3) - Blanket this better
  7. 00:48:037 (1,2) - Spacing is awkward, blanket it a bit more evenly
  8. Just in general, the flow isn't terrible but the weird slider shapes make it feel awkward to play. Also, consider not having so many big jumps in places that don't warrant it.
  1. Just starting out that this diff feels SUPER similar to the Expert diff... Might be a good idea to modify one of them a little bit so they play a bit differently.
  2. Despite not having the angled slider shapes, this still plays really similarly to the Expert diff. Just watch out for that

  4. 00:06:437 (1,2) - Curve is too sharp on these and the flow is off, lessen the curvature and reduce the angle to mellow it out

    Honestly you need to work a bit on aesthetics like blanketing and slider shapes, because when these are off the map feels pretty awkward to play. Aside from that, work on spacing and flow to make it come more naturally. A lot of these patterns force the player to move in flows that are counterintuitive. Also, be careful about using the same mapping ideas that are identical to other diffs at similar parts. It's ok in moderation but you used it quite a bit

  1. If you haven't already, you probably want to change your view options so that hit animations and snaking sliders are disabled. This is so that you can more easily see overlap issues, of which there are quite a few in many of the difficulties.
  2. You haven't set a preview point yet. Do that.
  3. Hitsound volume is stagnant at 50% at every difficulty level. You should change the hitsound volume with the volume of the song; for example, the chorus is louder, so maybe bump the kiai section to 70% or something.

  3. I do not like that spinner at the end. You can definitely in the very least cut it in half and start it at 00:54:437 instead.

  1. 00:01:637 (3,4) - Unpleasant overlap: try separating them a bit more.
  2. 00:08:837 (4,5,6,7) - This is dense for an advanced difficulty. I would suggest switching to 2 half sliders instead maybe.
  3. 00:10:437 (2) - Why aren't you mapping to the melody anymore? You previously had circles going to the eighth notes but now you just have a 1/1 slider.
  4. 00:12:037 (5,6,1) - You should have consistent distance snap here.
  5. 00:32:037 - Holy shit, that's a big slider velocity change. I think you should tone it down, especially for this difficulty level.


[Hard]
  1. 00:00:037 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The spacing here is a bit strange. This is a fairly calm section and you have what looks like jump spam. Plus, 00:00:437 (2,4) has overlap that I don't think that you want.
  2. 00:21:637 (3,4,5,6) - why is this pattern so different from 00:23:237 (3,4,5,6) when they map pretty much the same sounds?
  3. 00:26:437 (3,4) - why sv change? This is present in all harder difficulties and it's just out of place.
  4. 00:35:237 (1,2,1,2) - Please don't finish spam like this; finishes should be used sparingly. You do this in a lot of places; it applies everywhere.


[Insane]
  1. I loosely have this criticism with the hard difficutly too, but the over-all spacing here seems very arbitrary. You should try remapping this so that small spacing between objects reflects a small sound in the song, and large spacing reflects emphasized sounds. For example, these jumps 00:02:437 (3,4,5,6) - don't seem organized in any way that makes a lot of sense. The overlap of 3 and 4 seems arbitrary and the over-all spacing is much higher than the pattern that came before it. Just be mindful of this. I have other criticisms, but this is the biggest one, so I'll isolate it.

this difficulty has no hitsounds. that can make playing the map boring. if i were mapping this, i'd add some sort of clap sound at the drums 00:00:437 here and like 00:01:237 here. that's just how i would do it though. hitsounding is subjective so really any way is an improvement.
00:02:837 (3,1,2,3) - i get that this is still distance snapped at 1.3x, but normal difficulties shouldn't have jumps. since the music is basically the same for the whole intro, keeping the same distance spacing is a good idea.
00:04:837 (1,1) - try to make the first slider wrap around the other slider better
00:05:637 - speed change isn't necessary here. for a normal difficulty, sv should only be changed to represent the intensity of the music, and there doesn't seem to be any reason for sv1.5x
for the intro there were ncs every measure, but for 00:06:437 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) they were every 4th measure?
00:11:237 (9,1) - these are way too close
00:14:837 (2,3) - spacing is way too high
00:16:437 (2,3) - ^

the diff name says expret. idk if that was intentional, but if it wasn't you should fix it.
you should also increase the od. for maps of this difficulty you should use od7 or higher, but od8 fits the spread more.
for the whole part of the map before the kiai you have a nc every 8 beats, but 4 would be more fitting imo.
also this diff has no hitsounds
00:31:637 (1,2,3,1) - this is hard to read. player will probably assume there isn't a half beat gap there (at least that's what i did).
00:51:637 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15) - why are there no ncs here at all?

Expert and Advanced have "toby fox", while the rest use "Toby fox". The correct one is "toby fox", and please change all of them into it, for many reasons.

[Bonus]
Ok. Several major problems.

Spacing on your map is not reflecting the song. Some songs are not intense enough to support major spacing or rhythm choice, which your map has alot of.
00:02:437 (3,4,5,6) - This is not what the song sounds like. Understand spacing extends not only for per object, but for the entire map. Sections of the map should be easily recognizable from a glance. If you send me 2 random screenshots of each section, I would not be able to tell AT A GLANCE which is more or less intense.
00:38:037 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - Also this is too much and in the wrong direction. Changes in the music need to reflect the music. Your mapping style changes entirely suggesting the music completely changes (which it doesn't). Remember, a map balances reflecting the song, and playability.

00:05:237 (1) - Please be careful with NCs. If you dunno what you are doing, please use them on downbeats (big white ticks)

00:07:237 (4) - I don't think you know how to hitsound. There are 2 things you need to know.
1: This is way too loud for a hitsound. If you are using a custom skin, please return to the default to see what this sounds like. A hitsound's goal is to support the song, not overpower it.
2: You can double click on the head, middle, or tail of a slider to add a hitsound specifically to one of them.
Hitsounding is alot more complex than you think to handle, so I would point you to pishifat's video on this.

00:09:237 (5,6,1) - This is another example of spacing not being consistent. I would argue 6 is way weaker than 1, and should therefore be reflected by the song. If you argue the flow covers it, or the NC covers it, you are not being consistent enough. Any fancy usage of gameplay mechanics (so flow, overlap or NC emphasis) needs to be extremely clear, since it is not as intuitive to the player that this is used to emphasize.

Also this is a problem:

The reason that mappers recommend you to use the entire mapping area, is since it draws too much attention to the fact it is being in the center, and makes the player expect something different. Also it prevents you from truly using the editor to it's full potential.
You may be scared you can go off screen, but trust me, map as far as you can and see how much leeway room you actually have.

[Expert]
You repeated almost the exact same mistakes as Bonus.
Spacing, Section changes, hitsounding and the lot.

Apart from all this, Expert diffs are supposed to be for exclusively 5 stars or above, or if your map is very technical. Your map falls under neither, so please fix this into insane, and your current insane into light insane.
