why did the title change to just "Erik" .-.
Thank you very much!Sorcerer wrote:
So so sorry for being tragically late with this[General ][
- Background: Your current BG is pretty low resolution at 1024x768. I found a slightly larger version at 1280x1024 but also made an upscaled 1920x1080 version though with some necessary cropping changed to the 1920x1080, thanks

- 00:04:509 (6,7) - I'd say 00:04:867 (7) - is the strongest sound here and there should really be a dash between these two notes instead of between 00:04:152 (5,6) -. Same again with 00:15:582 (5,6,7) - ok
- 00:45:586 (1) - Feels a bit unclear what this spinner is following as the sound is fairly weak when it starts. I'd recommend starting this a bit later at 00:46:300 - where the sound becomes much clearer ok
- 00:53:867 (2,3,4) - Tripple hyper here is quite intense but this section is pretty calm overall. I'd recommend making 00:53:867 (2,3) - a dash instead of a hyperdash to bring the intensity of this pattern down a little ok
- 00:56:658 (4,5) - Distance here could do with an increase to about 2.0x ds to match up with 00:51:076 (4,5) - and 01:02:239 (4,5) - ok
- 01:07:646 (1,2,3,4) - The sounds this stream is following are fairly weak so I don't like how this pattern encourages holding dash. I'd stick with a pattern similar to 01:07:297 (1,2,3,4) - which only requires walking i decreased the diastance a little bit so it's walkable while still keeping the original pattern
- 02:17:762 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - There's a noticeable pitch decrease happening here which I think would be better represented with a smaller spaced walkable stream instead of having a hyper at 02:18:023 (4,5) - between two c shaped curves. It would help to add some contrast too to the next section as 02:18:372 (8,1) - currently is pretty similar emphasis wise did some changes, not sure exactly what you meant but i tried understanding and fixing the issue
- 02:25:437 (1,2,3,4) - This gradually increasing spacing in the same direction isn't too nice to play as it's not easy to gradually increase your catcher movement to match. It's not too bad here but it's still noticeable that (4) is sticking out a fair bit which doesn't look too great aesthetically either. I'd recommend just making the distance between the notes here consistent ok
- 03:39:396 (1,2,3,4,5) - Movements are pretty weak here. I see the effect you're going for but it only really requires a slight movement for the last note. I'd recommend to buff the distances a bit to make this effect more noticeable but still keep it walkable, same for 03:42:187 (1,2,3,4,5) - ok
- 03:57:561 (4,5) - Quite weak distance here, it's a weak dash compared to the next instance of this at 04:02:217 (4,5) - which uses a strong hyper. I'd atleast make this dash stronger ok
- 04:02:217 (4,5) - Speaking of this hyper the strength is probably too much, the buildup in this section hasn't really got going yet so I'd recommend using a distance closer to the minimum hyper distance ok
- 04:20:850 (1) - This spinner feels out of place to me, would expect to see a continuation of 04:19:797 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - instead it'ss to emphasize the sortof strong white noise that helps to transition onto the next section
- 06:20:130 - I feel this sound would be best represented with a note instead of a spinner end. Try ending the spinner earlier at 06:19:885 - and adding in a note on 06:20:130 - i honestly think it's a good transition, comparing it to the next 3 sliders where the same sound end on a slider tail i feel like it's fitting to end this spinner on the sound
Ascendance- 04:53:481 (1,2,3,4) - and 04:54:534 (1,2,3) - Possible to nerf the hyperstrength used in these two patterns a bit? These are quite strong and a bit tricky used in these back and forth patterns which makes for a bit of a diff spike very late in the map
I'd be happy to bubble this beatmap and Hareimu is willing to qualify though I'd like to get a check on the timing before moving forward to avoid any unessecary disqualifications. I didn't notice anything wrong myself but I tend to be a bit blind to these things and as the timing is from a 4 year old mapset I'd rather be on the safe side
