General
  1. AR5/7/8/9 creates a major increase between Cup and Salad relative to the other diffs in the spread, so consider 6.5 on the Salad, or 6 on the Cup for a more gradual spread
  2. 00:01:270 (1) - Spinner sounds better ending on the white tick at 00:07:270 - for the stronger synth sound to me. You could add a circle at 00:07:870 - to fill the gap a little if you think this makes that part too empty
  3. BG has a weird black bar on the left hand side, you should probably remove that

Cup
  1. 00:08:170 (1,2,1) - Lack of movement is uninteresting to play and sets the tone for later in the map. Also 00:10:270 (2,1) - could really use more spacing to emphasise the vocals and cymbal, so I suggest moving (2) to the left
  2. 00:20:170 (1) - Very odd to skip over the strong vocal sound on the downbeat, this would be much better as two 1/2 sliders
  3. 00:28:720 (3,4) - I know it's supported by the music, but this rhythm just sounds so weird... Also 00:28:270 (2) - isn't really following anything, so removing that makes (3,4) easier to focus on for new players
  4. 01:06:670 (2,3) - (2) skips over a strong vocal sound, reversing the order of 01:06:070 (1,2) - fits the rhythm better
  5. 01:09:520 (2) - Repeat slider is excessive here, a 1/2 slider alone would fit the rhythm better and be easier to follow for new players. Applies to all similar sliders such as 01:14:320 (3) - etc.
  6. 01:11:920 (4) - Same idea here, short sliders on obscure sounds are difficult for new players to work out, and when they involve significant movement (this one is horizontal), they're difficult to play too. A 3/4 slider would have been more appropriate here. Applies to similar ones like 01:16:720 (4) - also
  7. 01:50:770 (3,4) - 02:22:270 (4) - Something like these does suit a 1/4 pattern because (a) the sounds mapped are clearly distinguishable, and (b) the flow is continuous between objects and it plays exactly like a similar 1/2 pattern would anyway
  8. 02:26:320 (2,4) - Same as in first kiai ye
  9. 02:48:670 (3,1) - Spacing could be higher here, even though the pitch decreases this is still stronger than 02:50:170 (2) - which currently has higher spacing

Sorcerer's Salad
  1. 00:10:270 (2,1) - Pretty harsh for the first dash in the map, I'd reduce this a tiny bit to get the player accustomed to correct spacing and movement
  2. 00:14:470 (2,1) - Borderline dash, some players may see this as a walk given how visually different it is from 00:12:670 (3,1) -. To avoid having too many dashes in a calm part of the song, I'd lower the distance here to make a strong walk. Whatever you do here, do it for similar ones like 00:24:970 (3,1) - etc. also
  3. 00:43:270 (2) - Don't hear a sound worth mapping on the repeat here, 1/2 slider would be sufficient
  4. 00:46:570 (5,1) - Since the kiai is very dash-heavy, would be nice to make this walkable in order to give the player some rest since it's not that strong anyway
  5. 00:52:270 (2,3) - Not strong enough to support dash, especially if something like 00:53:170 (5,6) - clap isn't going to have one. Make this walkable because reeee this kiai is too dashy. Can apply to similar such as 01:01:870 (2,3) - also
  6. 00:57:670 (3,4) - Removing the dash here would match the decrease in pitch and also make 00:58:870 (1) - stand out more by comparison, which is good since it marks the kiai midpoint and is way stronger
  7. 01:08:170 (5,1) - Same ideas as above ^
  8. 01:10:270 (5,1) - Quite strong for a walk after dash, lowering this a bit would be nice
  9. 01:12:670 (4,1) - Weak sound compared to surrounding dashes, I'd opt for making this walkable
  10. 01:51:670 (1,2) - Flow would improve if this was slightly larger imo, the slider curve kinda forces the player to stop atm
  11. 02:09:070 (2,3) - 02:14:470 (3,4) - and similar - Same as in first kiai
  12. 02:22:270 (4,5,6) - Strongly recommend removing this antiflow, 1/4 direction change into dash requires movement control not expected at this level and will cause many players to struggle. Try something like this instead
  13. 02:23:770 (2,3) - Intended dash? Ambiguous spacing atm, add/remove distance to clarify
  14. 02:27:070 (5,1) - 02:29:470 (4,1) - etc. - Same as in first kiai
  15. 02:55:870 (3,1) - More spacing to clarify dash please
  16. 03:03:070 (3,1) - Reduce to clarify walk please lol

  1. 00:10:570 (3,1) - More spacing to clarify this dash please, it's weaker than the corresponding dash in the Salad lmao
  2. 00:17:470 (4,1) - 00:24:670 (2,1) - 00:27:070 (4,1) - etc. - All read as walkable despite dash being intended, leaves this intro section feeling very uninteresting and confuses the player for spacing found later in the map. Please make these dashes more clear
  3. 00:19:870 (3,1) - Same rhythm complaint as in Cup, two 1/2 sliders fit much better here
  4. 00:21:670 (2,3) - No dash here? Vocal is quite strong
  5. 00:32:170 (4,1) - 00:36:970 (5,1) - 00:41:470 (6,1) - 00:48:370 (6,7) - As before, dashes need more spacing to clarify
  6. 00:42:670 (2,3) - This one on the other hand is super strong for little real reason, so please reduce it for consistency with other dashes
  7. 00:50:770 (5,6,7) - If you're following vocal here, circle followed by the two sliders fits much better. Same applies to 00:55:570 (5,6,7) - 01:00:370 (5,6,7) - etc.
  8. 00:51:970 - Missing circle for continuation of the synth sound on 00:51:520 (1) -

  4. 00:36:970 (5) - Placing this on the right side would give some variety from left/righting through all of 00:35:470 (2,3,4,5) -
  5. 00:50:770 (5,6,7) - etc. and so on - same as in Platter, circle first fits the vocals better
  6. 01:04:270 (3,4,5) - More spacing on these would be nice, the vocal is quite sharp here so it could do with more emphasis
  7. 01:17:620 (7,8) - This definitely needs a hyper for being one of the strongest sounds in the song. Same applies to 02:34:420 (7,8) - in the second kiai
  8. 01:31:870 (6,1) - Hyper for consistency with 01:29:470 (5,1) - 01:34:270 (5,1) -
  9. 02:55:870 (3,1) - Strong enough for a larger dash imo, even though this is the calmer part this note is still very strong compared to those around it

What a legend!

Applies to all similar sliders such as 01:14:320 (3) - etc. - Although I agree on the part that you say it would be easier for beginners I just can't help but feel the rhythm would not be the same as I want to hit both of those synth sounds on both blue ticks like I did for the rest of my diffs. I made it fairly simple and not too hard for beginners I think. Might see what others say to this too but at the minute I like as it is.

It's a very nice short stack too and not too hard to just sit there. I did however leave the next kiai's as i thought the variety was really nice but that will more than likely get mentioned again later which I will need to fix. But hey might be okay so will leave for now

  5. 00:50:770 (5,6,7) - etc. and so on - same as in Platter, circle first fits the vocals better - I really umm'ed and err'ed about this for song long (trust me). I just some how found the pattern I had previously was nicer as it also fitted with the drums also having a combination of both vocal and drums imo. (I applied this one first before Platter). This could be something to argue about but.... I really just prefer as it is honestly from my own perspective. Really did give it a good try though :(. I have been following the drums a lot too.

I think having a dash goes really well for the synth on (8). I think it gives more emphasis for the hyper into the next kiai also. I think MB agreed with me on this too once when testplaying (Can't remember exactly though so might need to ask him kek)

00:25:870 (2) - Kinda strong slider flow > on low vocal beat, but I like the 00:35:470 (2) since it was starting point of strong flow. I suggest make like how you did on 00:45:670 (3).
01:17:920 (8) - This seems better to add H-Dash for (7) since there`s indication of strong beat starting on (8) beat. Same applied to 02:34:720 (8).
00:58:870 (1) and 02:15:670 (1) - Looks better if it was move a bit left and 02:15:670 (1) a bit right.
01:27:520 (1) - The end slider movements kinda straight flow, try move the end point slider to x:232 y:352.

Thanks, all applied from murutattack. I've mapped over the break to match other diffs, kept it pretty simple though.

Sent the updated version to Wild on discord so he can fix up hitsounds and update it

  1. 00:12:070 (2) - I would put this one a little bit more left for better flow/gameplay.
  2. 00:13:570 (1,2,1) - and 00:24:070 (2,3,1) - are pretty different from each other even though they represent the same music section. The first one provides a standstill followed by two pretty close direction of movement changes whilst the second one is way more simple flow-wise. I would make them more similar flow-wise for consistency.
  3. 00:21:670 (3) - Same as 00:12:070 (2) - .
  4. 00:58:870 (1) - This downbeat feels a bit underemphasized because it is the same slider movement like the two sliders before. I would make that one a bit more remarkable.
  5. 01:20:470 (1,2,3) - Just a personal note no problem here: I would like keeping 01:15:670 (1,2,3) - more but your way works as well.
  6. 01:32:170 (1,2,3,4) - This section is weird imo - The reverse slider feels a bit overdone and the vocal afterwards isn't emphasized well imo. The way you did it at 01:42:070 (1,2) - is way more fitting imo so i would make something similar for 01:32:170 (1,2,3,4) -.
  7. 02:15:670 (1) - Same as 00:58:870 (1) - .
  8. 02:21:070 (2,3,4,5,1) - I think the distance between the objects can be buffed slightly.
  9. 02:29:470 (5,1) - The standstill makes no sense here when you compare it to the rest of the section. Please add similar movement here like you did for similar patterns.
Sorcerer's Salad

General: It is inconsistent in my eyes to have quite a few dashes in the first part (from 00:08:170 - to 00:29:770 - ) but no dashes in upcoming parts with similar intensity (like from 01:27:520 - to 01:45:670 - ). I think it would be nice to make the first part dashless too to emphasize the calm part of the music but that's up to you.
Also: You forget to lower the AR by 0.5!
  1. 01:46:270 - Adding a note here fits imo because of the remarkable sound.
  2. 03:00:970 (1) - I think it fits flow-wise better to put that slider on the right side.
  3. 03:03:670 (1) - I would make the beginning of the slider a tiny bit less horizontal because right now there is that one droplet that can be missed quiet easily.

  1. 00:08:170 (1,2) - I would increase the distance to have better flow/gameplay.
  2. 00:20:770 (2,3) - Same as 00:08:170 (1,2) - .
  3. 00:36:970 (5,1) - I think the direction of movement change doesn't fit the music so I would remove it here.

From Secret Santa. Sadly I'm really bad at modding lower diffs so you can just not award me with kudosu.

  2. 01:17:920 (8) - I'd suggest to move a bit right for hyperdash since the music stops at the moment and I think hyperdash would greatly emphasize it.
  3. 02:34:720 (8) - Same with the previous suggestion.

I assume this was a wrong request because you wanted to collect some mods from By Design. Blame Ascendance. I can mod By Design if you want to however the mod would be a personal suggestion in total.
