Thanks for modding.jack1817 wrote:
From my Queue,
My mod focus on the appropriacy of the notes, so for designed ones, I try to respect them. So it maybe short for you, but I promise I will point out things I think that it is not good enough.
[General]
⏩In terms of maps itself, all diffs are well polished so at this point I don’t have many thing to say. But my concern lies in the spread. Spread difference is appropriate certainly. However, now it feels like oni is nerfed to a point where it “sacrifices” the potential of what the music offers, here’s what I think, maybe you map another diff of inner oni, or you boost the spread difference. I am sure keeping like that would end up not a good set on player’s view. >I prefer not to add anymore diffs onto the set now as I don't think the song's mood fits a challenging diff.
[Muzukashii]
⏩01:07:129 - I think adding a don here should be better in terms of spread. >Retained for a necessary 2/1 break.
Nothing else to point out actually.
[Oni]
As said in general, another comment I want to point out is that, it is not healthy for a ‘hardest difficulty’ when there are so many rhythms that the music provides aren’t used.
⏩00:49:682 - For some reason I think you should not miss out the gap of this one. Maybe try ddd triple here or duplet start from 00:49:789 - . >The fxs you pointed out isn't in my mapping intention
⏩00:43:087 (35,36,37) - The beat sound at 00:43:406 (36) - quite stands up when 00:41:704 (29) -, 00:40:002 (22) -, 00:38:299 (15) - don’t have that. I think having 00:43:087 (35,36,37) - different from the previous three would be way better. In the end, colour scheme cannot completely rule over better ways of representing the music. >Yes I do agree these patterns are a bit boring, but it has to be arranged like that to make a reasonable spread with Muzukashii. I will consider that when more modders mention about that.
⏩01:19:470 (130,131,132) - Feel like this should be ddkkd, filling those gaps with k to recap the pattern at 01:07:768 (71,72,73,74,75) -, and to be better stating the intensity of the music. >The notes you highlighted is identical to 01:05:853 (63,64) - instead of those you pointed out earlier. It is done for the sake of consistency.
That’s all! Thanks for requesting
Good luck with the mapset
