EpilogueThanks for modding!
00:25:674 (4,1) - Probably better to reduce this a bit, seems a bit far (you reduced it from an hdash so now the distance is too much) Personally I think it's fine, but I reduced it a tiny bit anyways since I saw someone miss in a testplay
01:54:362 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - this is the only place where you didn't do the 5plet stream, is this inconsistency intentional? Nope, it's not. Fixed!
02:03:378 (2,3,4) - and 02:04:034 (8,9,10) - feel overmapped as triplets, I'd continue doing the 1/2 style that you've been using previously. Sure
02:19:611 - has a distinct lack of movement. For example, you could add some small dashes to high pitched sounds like 02:21:828 (2,3) - or 02:26:277 (6,1) - Added a couple, but I'd like to keep this section generally lower movement-wise
02:48:965 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - Even though you said you changed this, I don't think it's distinct enough to be a worthwhile change. I'd consider the previous change and perhaps make it similar to your previous pattern like this at 02:41:577 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Tried something a bit different instead for variety's sake
03:06:036 (2) - A more dynamic slidershape would be nice here. Personally I think it's fine, mostly just stylistic
03:22:604 (2,3,4) - Overmapped triplet here, you've used 1/2 in every other place Fixed
03:46:610 (3,4,5,6,7) - You switched back to using the 5plet stream after using 03:43:824 (3,4,5) - before, try to maintain consistency after the transition here Whoops
03:48:085 (5,6,7,8,9) - The 1/2 here deserves more emphasis than the stream imo Agreed
04:16:066 (5) - NC? Done
04:30:937 (1) - Remove NC? Done
05:18:924 (1) - misplaced hitsound on the tail? Just the wrong sampleset, fixed.
05:43:331 (5,1) - hdash here for the "grand finale" finish hs would be cool Cool
Is there metadata somewhere?
M4M with my day being spring. Thanks so much!
01:09:281 (10,1) - HDash there doesn't make much sense to me, there's not really a strong sound on that downbeat, I'd say even a normal dash might be too much emphasis. Fixed
01:11:904 (10,1) - Same with this one. Fixed
01:14:527 (8,1) - And again with this one. I actually kept this one because of the low pitch on 01:14:691 - and also for a better transition into 01:14:855 (2) -
02:32:807 (2,1) - Maybe increase distancing both to and from this section by moving this section a bit to the left, try x:96, to make a comfortable dash that fits well with the music. Done
02:36:506 (2) - Same here, a stronger dash to this would be nice, try x:376. Done
02:38:349 (2) - And same with this too, x:176 works well here. Sure sure
03:51:907 (1,1) - I'd recommend avoiding too strong of a HDash strength to patterns like this, as overdashing the tick due to momentum is a definite issue here. Try x:152 on this section? Agreed
04:12:716 (3) - Ctrl+H and move it back to x:201, I know it's intended to be stood still for anyway but I just think the appearance would look better going to the left. aesthetic!
04:35:957 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - Hyper to this curve might be nice for the finish sound on 3. Try moving this curve a bit to the right, like x:440, plays really nicely to me too. Did slightly lower at 430 just so it wasn't too close to the wall but yea fixed
04:44:380 (3,1) - Not really a fan of the distance to 3 right now, feels a little far out to me, especially for a normal movement. I'd try moving this part a bit to the right, like x:160. Did 145 since I don't wanna cramp 04:43:713 (2,3) - together too badly
04:57:838 (3) - Hmm, personal stylistic choice but I think since this pattern will usually be dashed to, a more curved triple here would be nice. x:144 would accomplish this well if you decide to. Nice, moved 4 a bit as well to help out
05:02:503 (2) - Considering how strong this note is, I think it'd be really nice to put a HDash to it personally. Since I'm representing the piano in the background here, I'm gonna decide to keep the normal dash as it is now. Plus it's pretty calm so I'm gonna try to keep fewer hdashes.
05:15:280 (1) - This sound's stronger than the others, so maybe make it a slightly stronger HDash, but curve it to the left instead to keep flow the same? Yup
05:40:451 (1) - I think it'd make a better climax to the song if you map the backing synth here too, so doing 3 1/3 notes here. Sure
05:41:262 (1) - Same with this one. Done!
Really nice map, call me back.
