00:07:901 (2) - i personally don't think this slidershape is intuitive to read enough for players starting out with the game. it's not that I think that the shape is unreadable, I just feel like players will stop holding on to the slider when they reach the red anchor part of it. im probably just thinking new players are braindead again so uh disregard
00:11:567 (3) - 1/2 here seems kind of forced just so you could get the hitsounds into that area, imo I would just make that a normal 1/1 slider

Awesome map. Normal difficulty had the approach rate too slow that is almost confusing in my opinion, but sogun's hard was super fun!

01:15:516 (1) - I don't know if this is timed correctly, red lines should more or less be used to follow the instrument that you're following here, recheck this with someone better.

Storyboard
Pop reason is that Flash.png is unnecessarily scaled up to be 2-3 times larger than the background, which causes a bit of storyboard load, and it isn't even needed, as you aren't changing the size of it while it's there.
To improve this, just take a crop of the image in the center, only crop what you see in the storyboard. In your SB editor, scale that image to be the same size as the background. You now have the same effect without causing a small load spike every time it comes in.

Other SB stuff
Both flashes at 00:01:567 (1) - and 00:02:067 (2) - take 1/1 to fade out. Why not make the second flash fade out faster since the piano ends faster?

my issue with this is even doing everything you said resulted in minimal changes- I got sb load down to 3.99x from 4.0 by doing this, which I think we can agree is abysmally low. I’ll get in touch with someone in discord tommorow but honestly nothing i’ve tried has worked. :(

Quick recheck on the SB:

Would suggest adding a blur filter on sun-addon.png, or try to remake it from scratch at a higher quality since the jagged lines from aliasing are quite noticable.

Also might be cool if the foreground also got brighter every time the sky flashes during the beginning part. So I would either use an edit of bg-cut.png or use another flash.png ontop with a with more transparency.
