To all affected by the Kyoto Animation Fire on the 18th July 2019, your hard work will forever be cherished and this song will stay by me close to my heart for life.

Also please update the map before 23/3/2018 due to artist name change!

Snuggling up close to the scenery I'd always been waiting for,
affection wells up within me...
Then, within that scenery I'd been waiting for,
was a sky in which I saw affirming futures, telling me I'm not alone.
Thank you for listening to my story!

Massive thanks to dudehacker for helping with the keysounds again!

First of all I feel like the early intro is really empty, you should probably put some notes on the vocal or the piano.
00:43:105 - Why is this section only triplet when the beat is on every 1/2 ? It makes a really bad empathy of this part and overall it's really boring to play. You should probably remap the part using LN for the voice and adding normal notes for the instruments ?
(01:07:105 - Now this is really good, I want more unique part like this one !)
01:24:920 (84920|3) - remove a note, no more snare here, it's a tom.
02:27:542 (147542|3) - move to 3 (turning into bad modder elp)
02:44:605 - to 02:47:605 - : you should use mini LN for the guitar sounds, should make a really nice empathy.
02:53:230 - add a note on 2 for the tom sound.
03:55:105 LMFAO WTF IS THIS ALL OF A SUDDEN, it's super hard compared to the rest of the chart and it's probably not even rankable.
04:46:667 (286667|1,286855|1,287042|1,287230|1,287417|1,287605|1) - anchor is eeeeeeeh.
note missing at 04:58:726 -
05:06:513 (306513|3,306513|0) - you should probably put more notes here.
you missed a lot of notes at 05:07:548 (307548|1,307784|2) - , listen at 25%

My tought on this...
I really feel like this chart is 50% done, the chorus/powerful parts are really good but the rest is meeeeh. I understand you want to focus your chart on the piano, but it ended up bein really empty in a lot of parts. Basically every parts that is a little bit slower only have the piano and a few drums beats, you should really use more the vocals. Not only it gonna empathise the song really much more, but it should not feel as empty as it is rn.
You also missed some piano snap at the end as I noticed.

Gl for rank !

all accepted except the ending where I adjusted things. some notes arent part of the song but part of the storyboard.

00:00:960 - 00:01:022 - missed sounds. I'd think that you missed them intentionally, but here is the same moment 00:14:472 - and you didn't miss

01:06:073 (66073|0,66073|3) - I think it's wrong snap, actually it's on 01:06:026 - and it's more like single note than double.

01:06:261 (66261|2) - it's on 01:06:292 - and should be a double

01:21:730 (81730|1,81917|1,82090|1,82277|1,82465|1) - unbalance, maybe shift this 01:22:277 (82277|1,82465|1) - to 1st column

01:57:917 (117917|0,118011|3) - delete it maybe (?). Sounds aren't that strong for doubles. If you accept it, then make it 01:58:105 - a triple for cymbal.

02:01:105 - triple
02:34:105 - triple
02:44:605 - triple
02:52:292 - note

03:03:542 (183542|3) - replace to 03:03:511

03:04:058 - I guess you can place a note here

03:34:198 - 03:34:386 - 03:34:573 - singles

03:41:417 (221417|2) - replace to 03:41:448

03:41:573 - note

03:53:605 (233605|3,233605|0,234355|0,234355|3) - change the columns, because pitch is different

03:56:605 - triple

05:09:902 (309902|1,309902|3) - make it [14] for pitch relevancy

- She says "na" here 00:15:269 - instead of where you snapped it.
- 00:17:513 - vocal is snapped here
- 00:33:905 - I think either turn that single note into a short LN, or just add a short LN somewhere here, for the vocal.
- I think it would work better if you put this 00:37:093 (37093|1) - on the same column as 00:36:718 (36718|3) - , but start the LN at 00:37:186 -, just because it's the same pitch. You'll need to reshuffle some notes to fit.
- 00:38:405 (38405|0) - this starts at 00:38:499 (38499|1) -
- 00:43:667 (43667|2,43855|1) - and 00:44:417 (44417|0,44605|2) - and 00:45:167 (45167|1,45355|0) - and etc etc. I wish these would be on the same column. You have so much room to work with pitch relevancy but you don't really seem to utilise it, so at the moment it's kinda just randomly mapped LN with a single note every beat. I feel like you could make this whole area a lot more interesting if you paid more attention to pitch. (Especially given that there's keysounds to work with too). I love the areas where you've clearly used pitch for your LN, and I think that plays really nicely. It's just the areas where it kinda falls apart.
- 01:06:261 (66261|2,66823|1) - These two need to be doubles, given that you're mapping the snare to doubles here.
- 01:05:886 (65886|0,66026|1,66167|0) - Not sure what you're mapping here. It doesn't feel right to play this whole pattern with these notes, because the player is focusing on only the drums and vocals (as that's almost all that's been mapped so far), but then suddenly there's this emphasis on these other things? Idk, I'd take a look at this part a bit more to make you're you really know what you want to emphasize for this buildup.
- 01:14:605 (74605|2) - hi hat here
- 01:16:292 (76292|1) - and here
- 01:17:605 (77605|1) - and here and etc in this section. I see you might be leaving these blank on purpose for some variation, but just remember to be consistent with whether you're mapping it, or whether you aren't.
- 01:24:263 (84263|2) - double
- 01:24:545 (84545|3,84545|2) - could get away with this being a single
- 02:04:011 (124011|0,124105|0) - This is abused a lot in maps like these where it really doesn't need to be. You can easily make this 02:04:105 (124105|2,124105|0,124105|3) - a double, or 02:04:011 (124011|1,124011|0) - a single (I like this option better as the drumroll kinda fades a bit anyway).
- 02:36:917 (156917|0) - PERFECT opportunity for a long note here for the vocal. At the moment it's just a weird gap.
- 02:44:980 (164980|2,165542|2,166105|2,166667|2) - I'd make these short LN's
- 02:47:605 - Did we just give up mapping the guitar here? It's a good opportunity to give this part some life, because it makes this section unique from the others. I highly recommend continuing the guitar from here.
- From 02:53:605 - to 03:02:230 - I'm not a fan of the fact that a lot of things are ignored in this area. There's some nice piano chords that could be turned into doubles, or even a bit of vocal mapping. Just something to break up the fact that it's a random 1/2 stream that doesn't really feel like it's connected to the song. Consider revising this section.
- 03:06:730 (186730|2) - Hi hat
- 03:08:230 (188230|2) - Hi hat
- 03:12:355 (192355|2) - Here too
- 03:13:855 (193855|1) - And here
- 03:49:667 (229667|1) - Double
- 03:56:511 (236511|0,236605|1) - Consider swapping these two columns.
- 03:58:292 (238292|2) - Make this into a double. It's that whole double hit thing that you mapped elsewhere. Idk how to explain this lmao.
- 04:29:511 (269511|0,269605|0) - Again, this feels out of place in a map with no minijacks anywhere else.
- 04:34:105 (274105|3,274105|2,274292|2,274480|1,274480|3,274480|0,274667|1,274855|3,274855|0,275042|2,275042|0,275230|2,275230|1,275230|3,275417|0) - You could put more emphasis on these repeated piano chords. Maybe having each pair share two columns of notes or something.
- 04:36:167 (276167|3) - Big piano chord hit! Map this! Triple please! Or at least a double!
- 04:37:105 (277105|3,277105|1,277667|2) - Same here ^
- 04:40:480 (280480|2,280480|1,280667|3,280667|0,280667|1,280855|2,280855|3,281042|1,281042|2,281230|0,281230|1,281417|2,281417|3) - The double chord thing here too. you know what I mean.
- 05:07:148 (307148|2) - Piano around here.
- 05:07:642 (307642|2) - What is this mapped to.
- 05:08:772 (308772|1,308772|3,309267|2,309267|0,309902|0,309902|3) - I know you're just putting emphasis on this, but it feels really weird to play two notes in place of a single piano note. You could probably just make these singles and it'll feel just fine.

Nice job. Good luck with this map!

when you apply suggestions, keep in mind that you should also edit hitsounds!

00:30:718 - Add a note on column 4 //to emphasize 00:30:718 (30718|2) this high-pitch-sound.
00:34:655 (34655|3) - Move to column 5 AND hitsound on that note like this -> https://puu.sh/xzmmL/49fd57be47.png //pitch
00:35:780 (35780|1,36155|2,36155|3,36530|2,36718|5,36718|1) - Change to smth like this -> https://puu.sh/xzmFg/5fb8f3270e.png //You followed hat sound like 00:34:468 (34468|2) this from 00:34:093 (it is nice because the mood changes from that point.) So, it would be good if you follow the hat sound in that part (which means 00:34:093 ~ 00:43:105] Also, I suggest you to put more notes like what I suggested since there are lots of drum and piano sounds you ignored.
00:38:030 - Add a note on column 4 if you applied the previous suggestion //there is hat + low-pitch instrumental sound + following mood
00:38:218 (38218|3) - Move to column 5 if you applied previous suggestion //hand balance
00:40:093 (40093|3) - Nice ending point! owo
01:05:417 - Add a note on column 3 with 'hat light' hitsound.
01:09:917 - Add a note on column 3 //there is big sound which you've followed at that part.
01:10:667 (70667|3,70761|2,70761|4,70855|5,70855|1) - Change like this -> https://puu.sh/xznlq/c07d9ba944.png //I think this would be better for that part because of the drum sound which is similar as 01:09:167 (69167|4,69261|2,69261|1,69355|3,69355|5) this one.
01:12:355 - Add a note on column 2 //to make 01:12:355 (72355|2) this one as double for consistency. Reference -> 01:07:855 (67855|2,67855|5) / 01:09:355 (69355|5,69355|3) etc
01:16:667 (76667|3,76761|4,76761|0,76855|2,76855|1) - Choice 1. 01:17:042 (77042|2) - Move to column 4 //I think this would be better because pitch of 01:16:855 (76855|2,76855|1) this is a bit different from 01:17:042 (77042|1,77042|2) - Choice 2. Change this part like this -> https://puu.sh/xzngL/5ecc9f958e.png ^
01:18:167 (78167|3) - Move to column 5 //01:17:980 has 01:18:167 (78167|4) this sound (F7S_s), which means they have same pitch.
01:18:542 (78542|2,78542|3,78636|1,78636|4) - two doubles on that part? hmmm.. I think it is better to make them single or single at least 01:18:636 (78636|1,78636|4) - this one. //The drum sound is reducing from 01:18:355 +++ But, do not change like this https://puu.sh/xznI5/bf38600269.png (the selected ones) because it is really awkward, lol.
-> So, my suggestion is - Choice 1. changing that part smth like this - https://puu.sh/xznRZ/11b0effd05.png //if you applied the previous suggestion, you would have a jack on column 5 before that part. Also, considering the next suggestion and 01:21:730 (81730|5,81823|4,81917|3,82011|4,82090|5) this, weighting on left hand would be a good choice imo. - Choice 2. I noticed this one. 01:57:730 (117730|5,117730|0,117823|4,117823|1,117917|3,118011|2,118105|4,118105|1,118105|5,118105|0) This would be better one. In this case, you will lost one piano hitsound in the middle of the pattern, but the pattern would become nicer.
01:18:917 - Add a note on column 4 //There's a big drum sound.
01:23:402 (83402|2) - Move to column 2 //pitch
01:23:795 (83795|2) - Move to column 4 //hmm... It is just a suggestion. I can't explain this. (My explanation skill sucks... lol)
01:29:042 (89042|3) - Move to column 5 //This feels awkward since you put jacks on that part like 01:25:855 (85855|2,86042|2) and 01:27:355 (87355|2,87355|3,87542|2,87542|3) So, putting a jack like those would be natural.
01:30:542 (90542|2) - Move to column 2 ^
01:30:167 - Add a note on column 6 //How about emphasizing the big piano sound?, adding one more piano hitsound for it if there is. (whose pitch is slightly lower than 01:30:542 (90542|3) this sound's (G5S_s))
01:34:855 (94855|4,94855|3,95042|4,95042|3) - Change this part like 01:31:855 (91855|1,91855|3,92042|2,92042|4) this one. (no jacks) //for consistency (there's still elec guitar mute sound.) + to emphasize 01:35:605 (95605|2,95605|3,95792|2,95792|3) this part.
01:49:480 - Add a note on column 3 //following the hat sound. Even though you are following piano sound (not hat sound), not adding would be kinda weird since you barely didn't put a note on hat sound during that section. <- 01:49:105 ~ 01:58:105
01:53:980 - Add a note on column 4 //There is a sound like 01:50:980 (110980|2) this.
01:54:167 (114167|3) - Move to column 5 if you applied the previous suggestion //hand balance
01:54:730 - Add a note on column 3 //hat sound + big piano sound
01:56:980 - Add a note on column 5 if you applied the previous suggestion
01:56:980 - Add a note on column 5 //hat sound
02:01:105 (121105|1,121105|3,121105|2,121480|1,121480|3,121480|2,121855|1,121855|3,121855|2,122230|3,122230|2,122230|1) - Add notes on column 5 (or, change as you want) //In this part, you emphasized 1/1 sound by ignoring other sound which you've followed until 02:00:730 So, easy quads on every 1/1 would be nice imo.
From 02:53:605 to 03:02:605 - You ignored lots of piano sound. Which sound are you following? :thonk:
03:18:261 (198261|1) - Double //consistency. Reference -> 03:19:011 (199011|3,199011|4) 03:21:261 (201261|3,201261|4) etc
03:34:011 (214011|3) - Start this LN from 03:33:917 //The over-drived elec guitar sound starts from before 03:34:011
03:47:042 (227042|4,227230|3) - https://puu.sh/xzpiH/91c5deef73.png //to emphasize 03:47:230 and not ignoring sound at 03:47:417
04:28:292 - Add a triple. //I think it is better not to ignore the drum sound even if the sound is a bit small.
04:55:876 (295876|5) - Move to column 4 //pitch
04:56:241 - Add a note on column 2 ^
04:56:606 (296606|0) - Move to column 6 if you applied the previous suggestion ^
04:58:660 (298660|1) - There is no sound. Sound is on 04:58:726 - snapped on 1/6. Or, are you making new sound? (since the note's pitch is higher than the sound I mentioned) If so, add a note on 04:58:726 //You can refer Raveille's map (4K Nozomu)
04:59:635 (299635|4) - Make it double as you did in 05:00:391 (300391|4,300391|2) / 05:01:148 (301148|4,301148|1) etc
05:07:548 (307548|3) - If you are following paino sounds, put notes on 05:07:501 and 05:07:642
05:08:772 (308772|0) - The sound is on 05:08:819 - snapped on 1/12
05:09:196 - Add a note //There is also a piano sound

4K Nozomu
when you apply suggestions, keep in mind that you should also edit hitsounds!

00:07:095 - Add a note on column 2 //You've put doubles on 4/1
00:08:601 - ^
00:29:030 - Add a note on column 1 //For consistency. And, there's also change in the vocal. (the vocal's pitch is getting lower)
00:33:343 - Add a note on column 2 //There is a piano sound which is same as 00:33:530 (33530|1) this one. (F6S_s)
00:37:655 - Add a note on column 3 //There is sound
00:38:030 - Add a note on column 2 if you applied the previous suggestions.
00:37:843 (37843|1) - Delete if you applied the previous suggestion.
00:38:218 (38218|2) - I think the vocal starts from 00:38:264 1/8 and ends on 00:38:499 (But, I think this is fine because you put piano hitsound anyway)
00:37:843 (37843|0) - End this LN on 00:38:264 1/8 if you changed 00:38:218 (38218|2) this LN's start point to 00:38:264 1/8
00:39:905 - Add a note on column 3 or Add a 3|4 double //There is a sound.
01:14:417 - Add a note on column 2 //I think this one is emphasized a lot in the song.
01:20:042 (80042|1) - Move to column 3 //I think this one should be same as 01:19:292 (79292|2,79667|2) because the sound is repeating.
01:21:167 (81167|2) - Move to column 2 if you applied the previous suggestion
02:40:480 (160480|2,160855|1,161230|2) - Ctrl + H //the pitch is same as 02:38:980 (158980|1,159355|2,159730|1) this
02:41:573 (161573|1) - Move to column 3 If you applied the previous suggestion
02:44:230 (164230|0) - This note doesn't have hitsound. It is 'D#5S_Eb5S_s' + Move to column 2 //the pitch is different from 02:43:480 (163480|0) this.
04:07:667 (247667|2,247667|0,247667|3,248042|1,248042|0,248230|2,248230|3,248323|0,248323|1,248417|3,248417|2,248511|1) - Ctrl + H //04:07:667 - pitch is different from 04:07:480
05:07:548 (307548|3) - If you are following paino sounds, put notes on 05:07:501 and 05:07:642
05:09:196 - Add a note //There is also a piano sound
05:08:772 (308772|1) - The sound is on 05:08:819 - snapped on 1/12

Nice song, map and superb hitsound!
And, I'm also glad you mapped vocal as well.

Good Luck on your mapset, Rav! :D

00:25:280 (25280|2,25468|1,25655|2,25843|1) - not sure why these are trilled like that; 00:28:280 (28280|3,28468|0,28655|3,28655|1) - isn't trilled

00:33:343 (33343|1,33530|1) - why stack, no percussion for this part
00:33:905 (33905|1,33905|2) - doubled? there's no percussion going along with the vocal

my guess is that you intend to follow the hihats in the music, as referenced here 00:29:780 (29780|2) -
so 00:27:343 - 00:27:905 - 00:30:905 - 00:31:280 - pretty much need some form of layering

01:01:105 - triple for crash

01:05:886 - there's still percussion here
01:06:167 - if not for the faint percussion sound the rising synths start on this beat too

01:14:417 (74417|0,74417|1,74417|3) - not sure why this tripled, 01:15:167 (75167|2) - isn't
if you wanted emphasis on the piano then you can try something like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9100398 this for example, stacking for every piano beat and after

01:18:636 - there's a beat here

01:22:652 (82652|0) - to 2, 01:22:090 (82090|0,82277|0,82465|0,82652|2,82840|2,83027|2) - is what you're trying to emphasize so including 01:22:652 (82652|0) - is a bit weird

01:25:013 (85013|1,85105|3) - can crtl-g, but it's up to you here

01:29:230 (89230|2,89230|0) - move either one out of the way, there's only supposed to be one triple stack here

01:34:761 - 01:36:261 - 01:46:761 - note?

01:31:855 (91855|1,91855|0,92042|3,92042|2,92230|2,92230|0,92230|3) - if you wish to have some variation then try not to break the three note stack you've done beforehand (something like https://i.imgur.com/jp1Wqru.png would work)

01:49:667 - double, see 01:52:667 (112667|2,112667|1) -

01:49:292 - note for vocal? idk how you layered the 1/2s here

02:12:730 (132730|0,132917|1) - stack these, noticed that you did so after every snare except when there's 1/4s

02:13:292 - 02:08:789 - 02:20:792 - 02:25:292 - bass beat here, should be doubled (or at least emphasized in a certain way)
02:14:417 (134417|2,134792|1) - these are somewhat optional

02:12:355 (132355|1,132355|0,132542|3,132542|2,132730|2,132730|0,132730|3) - not sure if you intend to but like 02:09:355 (129355|0,129355|2,129542|0,129542|2,129730|1,129730|3,129730|0) - and the one before that too all have the triple stack; try to stay consistent

02:28:105 - the zuttos are pretty weirdly layered, i can't seem to see a structure to them. https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9100497 you could try this, think this can also work when the 1/2 stacks are in the inner columns too

02:50:605 (170605|0,172105|0) - erm bih

03:03:917 (183917|1) - glissando

03:28:480 (208480|2,208480|0) - why is this doubled

i think the second half is essentially the same so i think you should be able to cross-refer

4k should be fine, not very offensive in any way

00:30:718 - Add a note on column 4 //to emphasize 00:30:718 (30718|2) this high-pitch-sound. nope, only 1 there, same like 00:28:655 (28655|5) -
00:34:655 (34655|3) - Move to column 5 AND hitsound on that note like this -> https://puu.sh/xzmmL/49fd57be47.png //pitch changed other way
00:35:780 (35780|1,36155|2,36155|3,36530|2,36718|5,36718|1) - Change to smth like this -> https://puu.sh/xzmFg/5fb8f3270e.png //You followed hat sound like 00:34:468 (34468|2) this from 00:34:093 (it is nice because the mood changes from that point.) So, it would be good if you follow the hat sound in that part (which means 00:34:093 ~ 00:43:105] Also, I suggest you to put more notes like what I suggested since there are lots of drum and piano sounds you ignored. changed other way
00:38:030 - Add a note on column 4 if you applied the previous suggestion //there is hat + low-pitch instrumental sound + following mood dont hear any instrumental except bass, I only do bass layering there, it is my style to have lot of instrument layering, I play a lot of rhythm game and I noticed many rhythm game uses this kind of layering style
00:38:218 (38218|3) - Move to column 5 if you applied previous suggestion //hand balance
00:40:093 (40093|3) - Nice ending point! owo thanks dude owob
01:05:417 - Add a note on column 3 with 'hat light' hitsound. aye
01:09:917 - Add a note on column 3 //there is big sound which you've followed at that part. nope, intentionally doing that for the feel on 01:09:730 (69730|0,69730|5,69730|1,70105|4,70105|5,70105|3) -
01:10:667 (70667|3,70761|2,70761|4,70855|5,70855|1) - Change like this -> https://puu.sh/xznlq/c07d9ba944.png //I think this would be better for that part because of the drum sound which is similar as 01:09:167 (69167|4,69261|2,69261|1,69355|3,69355|5) this one. no la, want some variation
01:12:355 - Add a note on column 2 //to make 01:12:355 (72355|2) this one as double for consistency. Reference -> 01:07:855 (67855|2,67855|5) / 01:09:355 (69355|5,69355|3) etc no la, 2 note only for kick + loud instru, that one is hihat an minor instru only
01:16:667 (76667|3,76761|4,76761|0,76855|2,76855|1) - Choice 1. 01:17:042 (77042|2) - Move to column 4 //I think this would be better because pitch of 01:16:855 (76855|2,76855|1) this is a bit different from 01:17:042 (77042|1,77042|2) - Choice 2. Change this part like this -> https://puu.sh/xzngL/5ecc9f958e.png ^ owob
In this case, you will lost one piano hitsound in the middle of the pattern, but the pattern would become nicer. changed
01:18:917 - Add a note on column 4 //There's a big drum sound.
01:23:402 (83402|2) - Move to column 2 //pitch not changed, prefer to follow curren pitch, its muulti pitch there, also, mapping is not all about pitch lol
I found nothing awkward here
01:30:542 (90542|2) - Move to column 2 ^ same reason
01:30:167 - Add a note on column 6 //How about emphasizing the big piano sound?, adding one more piano hitsound for it if there is. (whose pitch is slightly lower than 01:30:542 (90542|3) this sound's (G5S_s)) designed for drum only with a bit layering
<- 01:49:105 ~ 01:58:105 really, why people keeps telling me to add note on every inch sound, its not about to add notes on every sound, sometimes you can ignore minority sound to give more effect on the major sound,
in this case this sound 01:49:105 (109105|5,109105|1,109105|2,109667|3,109667|4,109855|5,109855|1,109855|0) -

01:53:980 - Add a note on column 4 //There is a sound like 01:50:980 (110980|2) this. if heard on 25% yes, but on 100% it is totally overwritten by other sound, so I dont map it
01:54:167 (114167|3) - Move to column 5 if you applied the previous suggestion //hand balance
01:54:730 - Add a note on column 3 //hat sound + big piano sound like I said before, my style consist of ignoring minority sound at some point to emphasize the more major sound
:thonk: you tell me which sound is it?
03:18:261 (198261|1) - Double //consistency. Reference -> 03:19:011 (199011|3,199011|4) 03:21:261 (201261|3,201261|4) etc owob
03:34:011 (214011|3) - Start this LN from 03:33:917 //The over-drived elec guitar sound starts from before 03:34:011 no, its started right there, the sound on red line you pointed is just an echo from 03:33:542 (213542|5) -
03:47:042 (227042|4,227230|3) - https://puu.sh/xzpiH/91c5deef73.png //to emphasize 03:47:230 and not ignoring sound at 03:47:417 intentionally ignored to focus on the 1/1 piano
04:28:292 - Add a triple. //I think it is better not to ignore the drum sound even if the sound is a bit small. I dont see any reason why I cant ignore it
04:55:876 (295876|5) - Move to column 4 //pitch owob
04:56:241 - Add a note on column 2 ^ for what?
04:56:606 (296606|0) - Move to column 6 if you applied the previous suggestion ^
04:58:660 (298660|1) - There is no sound. Sound is on 04:58:726 - snapped on 1/6. Or, are you making new sound? (since the note's pitch is higher than the sound I mentioned) If so, add a note on 04:58:726 //You can refer Raveille's map (4K Nozomu) owob
04:59:635 (299635|4) - Make it double as you did in 05:00:391 (300391|4,300391|2) / 05:01:148 (301148|4,301148|1) etc
05:07:548 (307548|3) - If you are following paino sounds, put notes on 05:07:501 and 05:07:642 nope, dun want any overgrace here
05:08:772 (308772|0) - The sound is on 05:08:819 - snapped on 1/12
05:09:196 - Add a note //There is also a piano sound
thanks dude, I finally have the time to reply your mod

  1. This map has good piano hitsounds. But the concern is that, why in some places that the piano sounds are so expressive you don't put any piano hitsounds there? Somehow I believe if you really start to do keysounds, you may just do for all. It will make the map better in my opinion because people will be getting similar kinds of feedbacks all around the maps so they won't feel, in som places, a loss of feedbacks and suddenly such feedbacks come again lol.
  2. Please raise the piano hitsound volumes in some parts like the first and second kiai. I can barely hear them when playing this.
[4K Nozomu]
  1. 00:25:093 - 00:26:593 - 00:27:155 - 00:28:093 - 00:29:593 - These sounds are quite standing out in those bars. However, from the patterns I cant see your emphasis on them, because for them you put double notes, and for some unimportant lines like 00:25:843 - 00:26:218 - you put double notes too. They still make same impacts for the players, so the differences are quite small to perceive. There are two solutions: First is to reduce those with weaker sounds by making them all into single LNs/notes. Second is to boost those with stronger sounds by making them triple notes. I prefer the first, but I'll just list possibilities out for you to choose.
  2. 00:33:905 (33905|1) - I understand that this 1/4 length is accurately catching the length of vocal sound, but actually it will be hard for lower-level players to release it properly. To simplify it I just think it should end at 00:34:093 -
  3. 00:36:530 - Maybe wanna add one on col2 because it has same drum sound as those you put double notes with before, like 00:36:155 -
  4. 00:37:093 - Here is another heavier drum sound, so putting one more note on col2 will represent it better.
  5. 01:07:105 - to 01:13:105 - Wow really nice representation of the piano pitches. Good job! The only thing is that I think 01:13:105 - the sound volume here may substantiate it to be a triple note for better representation.
  6. 02:04:011 - Even though you get only one hitsound here, I still think it should be a double notes considering the completeness of the patterns here and the relative volume of this line compared to other lines around it.
  7. 03:03:917 (183917|0) - It makes me feel a little bit weird that only this piano sound is placed with a LN. I'd rather make it a normal note instead to keep the consistency of your representation for such sounds.
  8. 03:49:105 - You forget to add G#5S_Ab5S_s.wav as one part of piano hitsound here.
  9. 03:49:667 - Here the piano hitsound should be C6S_s.wav and G5S_s.wav as perceived.
  10. 03:51:167 - Also you forget G#5S_Ab5S_s.wav here.
  11. 04:20:323 - I don't really hear any sound here at all, including the drums. So the double notes here obviously represent nothing for me, which I suggest to delete.

I think this will be all I want to say. Good luck! ;)

It will make the map better in my opinion because people will be getting similar kinds of feedbacks all around the maps so they won't feel, in som places, a loss of feedbacks and suddenly such feedbacks come again lol. Some piano sounds are expressive because those are the important piano portions. I want the player to feel like the player is going on a journey and hitting the piano notes louder and softer at some portions, if the volume stayed the same all the way it will just be a map with loud keysounds and nothing else, there is no other expression and will just not make it outstanding.
  2. Please raise the piano hitsound volumes in some parts like the first and second kiai. I can barely hear them when playing this. I will increase the volume in the kiais though but not full blast.

Part 1 out of I dunno

[General]
Ughhhhhhhhhhh so many hitsounds lol. Some are even unused ._. (Like A#3s_Bb3s.wav) Find and remove them, cus I'm not gonna check nearly 100 files just to find 40% of them unused or something. Was also expecting a kick and snare hitsound but they don't seem to be about in the diff. May need to give those hitsounds another serious looking into. Why's the hitnormal a snare anyway (and so quiet)?

Firstly the piano hitsounds are really quiet. One could say they (still) blend in a little too much. Didn't notice them at all during gameplay and that's not a good thing. Secondly, deciding which notes are in play and which ones are in the storyboard feels a little... random at times?

Everything else checks out I believe.

Time to look through. Playing through felt fine for the most part, but gotta check since you changed stuff yesterday

  1. 00:15:269 (15269|0) - This note is... weird... Like, accuracy? Start note 1/4 earlier (where people expect it), rather than at the peak. (also extend by 1/4 to simplify this
  2. 00:17:513 (17513|1) - ^
  3. 00:21:720 - Note for guitar?
  4. 00:37:843 (37843|0,38264|2,38499|1) - Pls map vocals better thx (you're overcomplicating it) https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9495439
  5. 02:02:980 (122980|3,123026|2,123073|1,123120|0,123167|3,123214|2,123261|1,123308|0) - Love how the most notice piano sounds in the audio don't actually have keysounds on them xD
  6. 02:04:011 (124011|1,124011|0,124105|2,124105|3) - woulda thought single-triple here for crash, regardless of the keysounds (what's tofu been tellin' ya?)
  7. 02:16:105 (136105|3,136105|0) - rather this be [12] than [14] cus OH trills are annoying xd
  8. 03:10:855 (190855|0,190855|3,190855|2,190948|3,190948|2) - Can't hear the intensity difference for one to be a triple and the other a double tbh
  9. 03:17:605 - No keysounds? >_>
  10. 04:58:660 (298660|3) - Wrong snap?
  11. 05:07:501 (307501|2,307642|0) - ...what
  12. 05:09:196 (309196|0) - why
I mean the chart itself is mostly fine, but the hitsounding/keysounding is the real big problem here. Most of the keysounds are more or less inaudible, which kinda makes them pointless to point there in the first place. Which is a shame, because they sound quite nice. Recommend you put some louder samples in so that effort that's gone into the keysounds can actually be heard.

Long time coming, but here ya go I guess.

Lemme know if 6k is staying or not whenever.

Reminders to:

- Delete hit/keysounds (https://puu.sh/yhanm/d0890e8424.png)
- Change keysounds to 70 vol
- Change green/red lines to 15 vol / 10 vol
- Change hitnormal with soft-slidertick

Edit: ALL DONE! ALL APPLIED TOO (ending snaps I just either changed them or deleted)

Apparently I'm meant to post another mod but my formatting goes out of the window for this lol

  1. Check for dissonance and whatnot (turning the music off and listening to just keysounds etc) (big dissonance at 03:59:230 which I have to point out regardless)
  2. Speaking of which, the use of the cymbal hitsound feels odd when you only use it in some places where it is appropriate, but not all. Like 01:25:105 (85105|1) or 01:37:105 (97105|2) as opposed to 01:58:105 (118105|3) etc.
  3. Snap/delete storyboard hitsounds because sometimes they aren't lining up properly since red lines https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9588436
  4. Keysounds are still being heavily hidden by audio (I think), particularly in kiai
  5. May want to check timing at the end. Even though ranked maps have the same timing, it's not always 100% accurate. (Like 04:58:292 (298292|2,298726|0,298858|1,298858|3,298858|2) feel out of sync slightly. Also perhaps a few pitch errors here as well if you're going 1:1 with the mp3)
The chart itself looks fine so just these other things to get out of the way.

There's the "mod" you wanted... I think?

tl;dr you messed it up at basically every red line in the starting half. Check the rest just in case.

The keysounds in non-kiai are like... sometimes in sb? We've spoken about this before, but I feel like there needs to be a pattern to the ones that are in field, else you could easily say that the ones in the sb can interfere. (Swear they're still still too quiet or smth. Still gonna suggest replacing with raika's "Hard" sampleset)

also still feel like there are a few notational clashes/ places where there could be different keysounds that might sound better about (like I feel 02:08:230 (128230|2) - should be F5 rather than E5 for Csus4/G or 02:07:480 - could contain an A# in the chord for that Gdim feel). Becoming more and more optional I guess but it may still be worth it to take a look through.)

Kinda really tired so 'scuse the messy format this time uwu

Will check unused files next time I look

Took longer than expected, but we're finally there.

2017-11-30 10:16 Asherz007: the one that actually sounds like a more natural crash
2017-11-30 10:16 Asherz007: whichever one that was
2017-11-30 10:16 Raveille: more a natural crash? hmm
2017-11-30 10:17 Raveille: idrk which is more a natural crash LOL uh
2017-11-30 10:17 Asherz007: I think it was the drum one? Though I might have included a couple where the other one would be more appropriate

2017-11-30 12:06 Asherz007: I mean the keysounds are there, but you have to try to hear them, else they feel like they just blend
2017-11-30 12:07 Asherz007: Annoying thing about keysounds is they gotta stick out quite a bit
2017-11-30 12:07 Raveille: alright
2017-11-30 12:07 Raveille: 100% all it is xd

2017-11-30 12:12 Raveille: who is they
2017-11-30 12:12 Asherz007: just that 70 in play/ 100 in sb is like

2017-11-30 12:27 Asherz007: wai
2017-11-30 12:27 Raveille: so the quad becomes a hand
2017-11-30 12:28 Raveille: and the drum finish is in the storyboard
2017-11-30 12:28 Raveille: unless you want me to swap the drum finish with a piano note
2017-11-30 12:28 Asherz007: keep the crash hitsound in play and put something else in
2017-11-30 12:28 Raveille: in the sb
2017-11-30 12:28 Raveille: ok ok
2017-11-30 12:28 Asherz007: all of the other crashes are in play so I don't see why this one shouldn't be lol
2017-11-30 12:28 Raveille: sending G#3
2017-11-30 12:28 Raveille: to sb

2017-11-30 12:29 Raveille: changed to drum finish
2017-11-30 12:29 Asherz007: There's only like a few places in the middle section where I feel cymbalSSD is more appropriate
2017-11-30 12:29 Raveille: mmm
2017-11-30 12:29 Asherz007: other than that drum finish seems better imo
2017-11-30 12:30 Raveille: theres some parts i didnt apply the cymbal/finish btw
2017-11-30 12:30 Raveille: from your mod

2017-11-30 12:31 Raveille: sent F3 to sb
2017-11-30 12:31 Asherz007: basically the cymbalSSD feels too short most of the time as well
2017-11-30 12:32 Raveille: tup
2017-11-30 12:32 Raveille: yup
2017-11-30 12:32 Raveille: its mostly for a louder hi hat-ish sound

2017-11-30 12:40 Raveille: o
2017-11-30 12:40 Raveille: so how do i make it higher
2017-11-30 12:40 Raveille: cause i dont wanna add green lines
2017-11-30 12:40 Raveille: and i want the rest of the normal hitsounds to be at 15
2017-11-30 12:41 Asherz007: in the sample import box tick use basic sample
2017-11-30 12:41 Asherz007: probably change volume to 100% so it's loud enough
2017-11-30 12:41 Raveille: basic sample then uh
2017-11-30 12:41 Raveille: which number
2017-11-30 12:41 Raveille: customset

In any case, good luck with this going forward. :)

The Rumor Come Out: Does Raveille is Find 2nd BN?

Does Raveille is Find 2nd BN is the most discussed in osu!mania in the few weeks ago. Even it has happened in 2017, but some of the public still curious about what is exactly happening and to be the reason there is a rumor comes out about his 2nd BN. At that time he became the massive social networking rumor. The public, especially his fans are shocked. He just came out with his bad rumor which is spread massively. This time is not about his mapping career, but his bad rumor. The rumor is out of standardize of hoax, according the last reported this mapper revealed himself as trash mapper. Do you still believe or not, this rumor is really much talked by people even in a person of his fans.

Yes, Raveille does find 2nd BN

Ok so I might be insane here but I'm 80% sure that most of these red lines aren't needed. A million resnaps is a pretty big red flag that somethings wrong as well as decimal BPM with 4 sig figures. I'm not sure about the BPM changes later on in the song but the resnaps definitely feel unneeded. I deleted all the red lines except the second and it works fine and plays fine even minutes later it's still in sync https://puu.sh/ywTUv/034e28d223.mp4

The red lines at the end seem wrong too. The BPM definitely changes but I find it hard to believe that these are the correct figures

Especially in a mastered song like this.

I'm willing to rescind this pop pretty quick if I'm proven wrong

also pls dont say "ranked std set!" cause this is definitely not the first time a ranked STD set has overkilled the timing

As far as I know, the minor offset changes were to be as accurate as possible, as though it may be in sync overall, the specifics would be slightly late or early which would average out. I was fine was the small resets, so I didn't challenge it. (In reality, I always time my own maps and this is kinda why lol)

With regards to these red lines, they were implemented in such a way so that each line landed on a piano note (and there's a slight difference here compared to the standard set which wasn't entirely accurate here), set with such a bpm such that the next red line lands on the red line... uh, the 1/2. The only exception was the 106.2 bpm timing point which was used for the roll which is on the 1/12 snap. Again, I thought this was fine.

Hey, better this gets discussed now rather than later when it might be too late.

I decided to play around with the red lines, and the introduction part does seem fine without the many red lines there, so I scrapped most of it as long as it sounded in time and that everything would play right with the keysounds (cause wrongly snapped keysounds will succ)

the ending part though, i decided to cut down half of the red lines but leave some of them there since it is a slowing portion and will not be entirely snapped to whole number bpms, i did test around a bit and i tried to make it as accurate as possible

made most of the bpm red lines (or i think all) whole numbers.

might as well give some suggestions on the outro here because the lack of PR makes me disturbed knowing that piano is the main focus of the part. don't ask for the reason because you most likely know why based on my complain. it's also only suggestions so if you have a better idea about how to do it just do what you want. but please. please.. change it

these two suggestions are based on assumption that you're mapping the vocals

the rest is pretty clean. good luck! owo

might as well give some suggestions on the outro here because the lack of PR makes me disturbed knowing that piano is the main focus of the part. don't ask for the reason because you most likely know why based on my complain. it's also only suggestions so if you have a better idea about how to do it just do what you want. but please. please.. change it

sooooooooo is the timing resolved or not :blobsweats:

so there's a couple (dozens?)of this SB hitsound arent aligned in where they supposed to

I suppose they were for graces but as far as i heard it there's only a few grace, but you map it instead of SB hitsounding it so.....................
another ex: 01:07:011 (67011|2) -

and the hitsounding on this seems uuh....... unfinished? .... ok not really but majority of the percussion are left being not hitsounded. for example a thing at - 01:57:730 (117730|0,117730|1,117823|3,117823|2,118011|2) - that have drumroll but there's no actual hitsound being applied here despite you have it. probably you are too focused on piano which is ok that seem to be the main thing here but its just a waste to left this not hitsounded

and.....

ash why

00:25:093 - timing points with 2ms difference :thonk:

---------------

00:02:548 - grace potential

00:17:595 (17595|0) - 00:22:095 (22095|1) - extend for vocal. no wasting for marathon ey?

00:54:167 - i would suggest jacking for the climatic purpose tbh http://puu.sh/yToxF/5f8ab9d9ff.jpg

01:37:011 (97011|1,97105|2) - flipping this would give left hand some room to rest after the same trill also exist shortly before - 01:36:261 (96261|0,96355|1,96448|0,96542|1) -

01:39:917 (99917|0,100105|1) - didnt really see the purpose of the jacking on 1 so moving it to right 1x would actually cool for movement

02:02:605 (122605|3,122698|2,122792|1,122886|0,123355|3,123448|2,123542|1,123636|0) - not sure about you but transitioning between 1/4 and 1/8 in the same direction could probably throw players out of they comfortness since they actually dont have any "point" where to change their speed and when they should change it back. thus a lot of 200 probably occurs (quit w). so it might be more manageable if the last 2 notes of each roll i highlighted is flipped.

03:03:917 (183917|0) - isnt this supposed to be earlier?

thats probably it but the lack of percussion hs is what i concern pmuch

and.....

00:25:093 - timing points with 2ms difference :thonk: it can be important you know... unless its against the rules i wanna stick to this since its as accurate as it can be unless this is inaccurate and if thats the case then uh ........ >.>

added in a bit more percussion hitsounds, hopefully its enough but keep in mind this song is mostly in the piano aspect (keysound) and not the percussion aspect (hitsound) so i wanna drive that piano mindset more. :P

edit: the suggestions i didn't reply = accept

LR_Drum Finish cutoff sounds quite bad from the start so here's a replacement which i think its "better" http://puu.sh/z4hgQ/528fd76424.wav (just rename it and replace it. )

00:20:220 - this feels kinda left out. and since there's a piano HS, why not adding a note?

02:10:105 - 02:16:105 - 04:02:605 - 04:07:105 - 04:08:605 (248605|3,248605|0) - 04:17:605 (257605|0,257605|3) - 04:19:105 (259105|0,259105|1,259105|3) - 04:25:105 (265105|2,265105|1,265105|3) - 04:26:605 (266605|0) - 04:27:167 (267167|3) - 04:28:105 (268105|2) - 04:40:105 (280105|3) - 04:40:667 (280667|2) - 04:44:605 (284605|2) - 04:46:480 (286480|1) - potential crash HS

not really sure are you accidentaly flipped the crash placement between these - 02:27:167 (147167|0,147167|3,147167|2,147542|1,147542|3,147542|2) - i just found that odd. could refer to - 04:19:667 (259667|0,259667|3,259667|1,260042|0,260042|3) -

everything accepted except for 04:25:105 (265105|2,265105|1,265105|3) - because it sounds weird and out of place for a crash.
