Insane
Try to use the corners of the playfield more.

Addiction
00:15:749 (1,2) - Spacing could be slightly higher.
00:17:439 (1,2,3,4) - Since the sound is consistent the spacing 00:18:284 (3,4) - here should match the other sliders.
01:02:967 (3) - This slidershape makes it confusing to follow into 01:03:284 (1,2,3,1) - .
01:13:213 (1,1) - After 1/4th into the kiai the bottom right and right side of the playfield get neglected, try to fix this.
01:06:770 (1,2,1,2,3) - Uncomfortable flow, try something that isn't linear.
01:33:918 (1,2,3) - Spacing could be higher, especially on 01:34:058 (2) - .

Nice mapset, gotta love the song.

if I go anymore into the corners it would be hard to use good flow

Looks like sent the wrong bookmark, I switched to a qwerty keyboard so typing distracts me from the actual content of the sentence I'm typing.
Anyway what I meant to say in the 4th remark is that I'm talking about the 1st kiai. these notes
01:04:974 (1,2,3,1,1,2,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,1,1,2,3,1,1,2,1,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,1,2,1,2,1,1,2,3,1,2,1,1,2,1,2,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,1) -

Yeah i see what you mean a lot clearer now, but i don't really think that this is a bad thing, and changing it would require me to remap the whole thing which i'm not going to do for a small complaint like this, but if in the future something comes up where i have to remap this, i'll keep this in mind :):)

Background dimensions are more than allowed maximum - exceed rankable limitation of 1366x768:
Easy: kakegurui.jpg (1289x908)
Normal: kakegurui.jpg (1289x908)
Insane: kakegurui.jpg (1289x908)
Addiction: kakegurui.jpg (1289x908)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulties end time is not consistent:
01:33:495 - Easy
01:34:199 - Normal
01:34:199 - Insane
01:34:199 - Addiction

https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Ranking_Criteria#Guidelines

Your difficulties should all end at the same spot. Having a fully-mapped Normal/Hard and a half-mapped Easy just looks sloppy/lazy. A full Easy may look boring to you, but not to a player that can't handle the harder difficulties.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
00:07:298 (1,2) - its stacked identically as 00:06:875 (1,2) - so it will be misread as 1/4
00:24:199 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - i think it would be better if sliders was NC and circles was (2)
00:32:650 (1,1) - fix blanket, its few pixels off
01:04:446 (1,2) - fix blanket
01:12:368 (3,4) - fix blanket
01:18:706 (3,5) - fix blanket

As i said in Extra, NC won't fix every issues with SV changes
00:03:354 (2,1) - reason to not stack it?
00:07:650 (1,1,1,1,1) - i would make perfect star here, looks bad
00:15:537 (2,1) - as above
00:43:213 (1,2,3,4) - why dont you make here the same pattern as you did before? white - pattern here / purple - pattern 10 sec ago
01:27:438 (3,1) - stack it, noticeable weird overlap

One thing to notice - SV change and rhythm change you show by using NCs, but keep in mind that many players play with skins without combos/numbers so putting NC won't fix every issue

  1. Remove Widescreen in all diffs
  • Easy
  1. 00:05:608 (2) - maybe for a better flow i want to suggest to make this slider straight like this http://i.imgur.com/Zs6fYDX.jpg?1
  2. 00:07:298 (3) - If you fix that ^ so the 3 should be at x:340 y:315
  3. 00:16:593 (7,1) - this overlap doesn't look nice
  4. 00:25:889 (2,1) - blanket
  5. 00:30:115 - add a slider 1/1 for emphasis the vocals and even the trumpet
  6. 00:30:960 (1) - should be similar at 00:38:566 (1,2,3) - consistence
  • Insane
  1. 00:17:016 (7) - curved it for flow because it's feel narrow http://i.imgur.com/IuoO6Iu.jpg?1
  2. 00:17:439 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - idk why it's not similar as 00:24:199 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - it's the same density of rythm nothing has changed so keep the consistence
  3. 00:26:946 - this sound can be clickable like you did at 00:19:974 (1,2) - it's sound better imo
  4. 00:40:889 (1) - remove nc
  5. 01:13:636 (1,2) - a better overlap?
  6. 01:14:270 (2,2,3) - ^
  7. 01:16:382 (4,5,1,2) - stack them :/
  • Addiction
  1. 00:16:488 (4,1,1) - should be really confusing for the player because before these notes you have 3 notes without gap and suddendly there are 2 gaps and more each notes are on a blue tick so maybe i suggest you to make a slider renverse instead
  2. 00:19:974 (1) - why you don't make as insane diff, 2 sliders 1/2 fits better with the music tbh
  3. 00:24:199 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - like i said on the insane diff it's should be similar as 00:17:439 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - for consistence (density is the same)
  4. 00:43:530 (4,1,1) - like i said again lol a slider renverse should be better for not confusing the player
  5. 00:55:044 (1,1) - what is it? xd you change the slider velocity so avoid this you can't make them similar so i transform it 00:55:467 (1) - to a other form straght or add some red anchor

One thing to notice - SV change and rhythm change you show by using NCs, but keep in mind that many players play with skins without combos/numbers so putting NC won't fix every issue i only use this to show SV changes in two places: 00:30:115 (3,1,1,1,1) - and 00:54:622 (1,1,1,1) - so it shouldn't be too big of a problem

Addiction:

00:12:368 (3) - ??? just make a kick slider. I dont understand what this is supposed to represent

00:30:326 (1,1,1) - overmap

00:53:777 (1,2,3,4) - you may want to make the spacing here a bit bigger for these 1/2's, because the 1/4's are the exact same spacing. In my opnion, it would just make more sense.

01:19:974 (2) - this may be too high. Its going into the ticks. you may want to lower it just in case.

Great diff, and its definitely a LOT of fun! will def play this in multi with some friends!

Insane

First of all, I would reccomend OD 7 for a 4.17 star. OD 6 is too low for an insane at this level.

00:53:143 (1,1) - I would recommend un-nc'ing these. There isn't enough emphasis

00:59:692 (1,2,1,2) - I would make this smaller, considering most of the 1/4s in this diff have been streams.

01:07:509 (1) - same thing as in the extra. I would lower this.

Great diff!

I'm not that great at modding normal and easy diffs, but there was a few things in AI Mod that may or may not have to be fixed. I don't really know.
This was my first time modding a kind of technical map in a while. Hope I did alright! Great map!

Hello DeviousPanda!

First, thanks for mod my map, second, let's mod this >:3

[General]
Are you sure about timing?? because in many notes Im not sure if its at 1/6 or 1/8 (or 1/12 xDDDD).

[Addiction]
  1. My general feel with this, is that this song is difficult to map, In fact, this have a lot of 1/6 rhythms that you are not mapping well.
  2. By example, in 00:03:918 (1,2,3,4) - you made an stream at 1/4, but (imho) a most accurate rhythm is at 1/6:
    Actual.
    Suggestion
  3. Or in 00:04:974 (1,2) -
  4. In some sections those 1/4 rhythms are good, but in other places like 00:15:009 (3) - :|
  5. One aspect that discouraged me, was how most of what you were following was the voice... ignoring some nice rhythms. A example could be in 00:39:728 (2) -
  6. In 00:40:889 (3) - the trump+drum really start in 00:40:837 - (at 1/8)... idk, this song is really difficult to map xDD
  7. 00:58:002 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Not a stream for this piano :(
  8. 01:00:009 (1,2,3) - Personally, I cant understand why this patter here xD, I mean, Its very difficult but music is not very intense yet, also, a more accurate rhythm could be
  9. My feel about kiai, is that its too many random notes, but I was not sure about what to follow... only the voice?, some bass? (trumps not much xD)
  10. I sincerely like this song, but the way you used to map this is... very simple and not very accurate, imho u.u

[Insane]
My feeling is similar to last diff, so, I will skip.

[Normal]
  1. 00:03:918 (1) - Its touching HPbar
  2. 00:06:981 (1) - lol, well... that was strange.
  3. 00:15:749 (1,1) - :!: You must leave more time after a spinner. Ranking Criteria have a rule about this.
  4. 00:17:439 (1,2) - Sliders like this are usually bad idea. Its better just to do two sliders instead that one repeat slider like this.
  5. 00:29:270 (1,1) - Some as before.
  6. 00:49:551 (2) - same, and etc...
  7. I had the same feeling like in previous diff in the kiai... I was not sure what were you following ^^U

[Easy]
  1. 00:20:819 (3) - Same as in Normal.
  2. A recommendation for Easy diffs, is to keep a very clean way. By example in 00:50:397 (8,1) - a new player will be confuse because the flow is pointing to the slider tail:
  3. 00:42:791 (1,1) - :!: Same about recovery time after spinners!
  4. Another recommendation for Easy diffs is: Try to avoid overlaps and stacks.
    You used this a lot: 00:14:481 (5,8) - 00:30:960 (1,3) - 00:46:594 (3,6,8) - 01:23:778 (3,6) - 01:26:735 (1,4) -

Now, not all overlaps or stacks are evil... A way that I have to know if its bad idea or not, is play it with EZ mod.
Of course, getting testplays from noobs is the best method.

In general, I think this set needs a lot of work. Good luck!

    Actual.
    Suggestion
the 1/4 here is much better for playability, and i want a continuous flow at this point, also the 1/6 sounds a lot worse imo, im gonna keep this the way it is
  3. Or in 00:04:974 (1,2) -
  4. In some sections those 1/4 rhythms are good, but in other places like 00:15:009 (3) - :|personally i think this works fine
  5. One aspect that discouraged me, was how most of what you were following was the voice... ignoring some nice rhythms. A example could be in 00:39:728 (2) -
changed this, but not exactly to what you said, kind of like a halfway point
  6. In 00:40:889 (3) - the trump+drum really start in 00:40:837 - (at 1/8)... idk, this song is really difficult to map xDD mapping in 1/8 for this specific noise would probably be more off putting to the players than mapping this a slightly bit late would, but idk
  7. 00:58:002 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Not a stream for this piano :(a stream here would be a way overmapped 1/8 or 1/12 stream, which would break the whole concept of the map
  8. 01:00:009 (1,2,3) - Personally, I cant understand why this patter here xD, I mean, Its very difficult but music is not very intense yet, also, a more accurate rhythm could be this is meant to be a buildup to show how the chourus is going to be, so players aren't completely surprised by the triangles
  9. My feel about kiai, is that its too many random notes, but I was not sure about what to follow... only the voice?, some bass? (trumps not much xD) I'm following the background music while putting emphasis on the voice, idk if i explained that well
  10. I sincerely like this song, but the way you used to map this is... very simple and not very accurate, imho u.u to try and map every variation in rhythm would cause this map to be an overmapped mess, and staying in 1/4 for most of the song still accurately represents most of the song so im going to stick with my mapping style here. Most other maps of this song have done this and i don't like that as much, so i wanted to try and make a map of this song in a different way

[Insane]
My feeling is similar to last diff, so, I will skip. k

[Normal]
  1. 00:03:918 (1) - Its touching HPbar fixed
  2. 00:06:981 (1) - lol, well... that was strange. don't really know how to map this accurately without starting at the blue tick
  3. 00:15:749 (1,1) - :!: You must leave more time after a spinner. Ranking Criteria have a rule about this. fixed
  4. 00:17:439 (1,2) - Sliders like this are usually bad idea. Its better just to do two sliders instead that one repeat slider like this. semi-fixed
  5. 00:29:270 (1,1) - Some as before. Fixed
  6. 00:49:551 (2) - same, and etc... i think this is fine, but idk
  7. I had the same feeling like in previous diff in the kiai... I was not sure what were you following ^^U mapping the normal for this was really hard ;-;

[Easy]
  1. 00:20:819 (3) - Same as in Normal.i think that the slider here is long enough for the player to realise whats going on, but idk again
  2. A recommendation for Easy diffs, is to keep a very clean way. By example in 00:50:397 (8,1) - a new player will be confuse because the flow is pointing to the slider tail:
fixed this a bit by moving the next slider down a bit
  3. 00:42:791 (1,1) - :!: Same about recovery time after spinners! fixed
  4. Another recommendation for Easy diffs is: Try to avoid overlaps and stacks.
You used this a lot: 00:14:481 (5,8) - 00:30:960 (1,3) - 00:46:594 (3,6,8) - 01:23:778 (3,6) - 01:26:735 (1,4) - i think that these stacks aren't that bad, because the previous note is already long gone so you cant actually see the overlap, but i will change these if they are a big problem later

Now, not all overlaps or stacks are evil... A way that I have to know if its bad idea or not, is play it with EZ mod.
Of course, getting testplays from noobs is the best method.

In general, I think this set needs a lot of work. Good luck! Thanks for your input :):)

WHAT??! No!, new maximum resolution is 1920x1200.
You can read here -> t/516427&start=0

For some reason, the New Wiki was restored with an old version of RC :s
Thanks for the mod, it really helped :):):):):)

Hello!

[General]

So, I rechecked the ranking criteria and it says:

The difficulties in the mapset must be in a consecutive order.

Thus youre missing a hard still...

[Addiction]

00:28:530 - To be honest, Id rather be able to hit this note rather than have a slider play it passively. Thus shorten the previous slider so it ends at 00:28:425 - and add circle/slider/whatever you want at here instead

00:30:537 (1) - Id rather extend this slider so it ends at 00:30:749 - and then add a circle or whatever you want at 00:30:854 - to fill that beat

01:16:171 (1) - Maybe rotate counter clockwise about 30 degrees? Also keep where the head is. This is mostly to not break the flow of the triangle.

[Insane]

00:07:439 (2) - I would separate this object a bit more from the previous object. Just enough so that they are not touching at all at the very least
00:23:777 (1,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - I think using NC at the sliders would be more intuitive to play. Nothing wrong with them, like people should be able to do them perfectly on second try, but just didnt think this was a section worthy of such confusing pattern.
00:37:615 - I really expected a note here because of 00:30:854 (2) -

[Normal]

00:31:594 (2) - I would delete this note, it would transition between rhythms better

Only one thing really bothers me, and are the sliders that has different amount of repeats, which might be too confusing for a normal, but I guess not much can be done for this kind of complicated songs... lol.

[Easy]

00:14:481 (5) - NC maybe?
00:47:861 (3) - NC maybe?

Thats it from me

Very complicated rhythms to map, you did a pretty good job at trying to keep it simple imo ;)

hellohello, m4m here

Addiction:
  1. 00:00:749 - 00:01:171 - 00:01:594 - stupid suggestion - 3 circles here and nc on third because girl saying "one-two-one"
  2. 00:08:495 (1,2,3,4) - this thing is really hard to read, consider making it clearer?
  3. 00:10:678 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - for this section i couldn't get what instrument did you follow.. I can hear 1/6 rhythm drums here, maybe try to map them? otherwise this feels like mess (try to listen on 50% or 25% speed)
  4. 00:16:699 (1,1) - yeah, an these things should be on purple 1/6 ticks too
  5. 00:30:326 (1,1,1) - what do these things follow?

I liked patterning and overall pace of the song and map, but i think most of your objects don't stand on the right places on the timeline. Try to listen to the song on slow speed and use 1/6 rhythm, i think it will make your map much better. Also i think you should rework ncs a bit, sometimes they appear too often (for example 01:16:699 (1,2,1,2) - 01:22:615 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - 01:30:854 (1,1) - and so on)

Insane
  1. 00:53:460 (1,1) - i don't think this needs that many ncs
  2. 01:07:509 (1) - this thing is really offscreen

Same suggestion for rhythm choice, but also maybe try to vary slider shapes? i saw "1"-shape too often

Normal
  1. aimod
  2. sv changes are way to drastic for this kind of difficulty, you should really nerf them
  3. 00:06:875 - don't leave this place empty, because 3/4 gap feels unnatural for newbie player
  4. 00:06:981 (1) - try not to use nc way to often in lower diffs, numbers on circles give newbies good hint in what order should they click circles
  5. 00:15:749 (1) - i suggest mapping sliders and circles instead of this and put click 00:17:439 - here
  6. 00:19:129 (2) - 2 repeats is very unpredictable here imo
  7. 00:24:199 (1,2) - you can map this using different objects
  8. 00:30:960 - i understand that you left this place empty because of spinner, but i think you really should not leave this place empty
  9. 00:42:791 (1,1) - here you made 1/1 gap between spinner and object, so maybe make like this in cases above too?
  10. 00:46:382 (3,4,1,2,3,1,2) - this spacing is really confusing. try to keep your lower difficulties as consistent as possible since its written in rc
  11. 01:01:382 - this section feels so wrong rhythmically

Ok, that's kinda all. Hope I helped somehow, good luck!

  2. 00:08:495 (1,2,3,4) - this thing is really hard to read, consider making it clearer? its not actually that hard, just a different timing
  3. 00:10:678 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2) - for this section i couldn't get what instrument did you follow.. I can hear 1/6 rhythm drums here, maybe try to map them? otherwise this feels like mess (try to listen on 50% or 25% speed) I'm mapping the piano with emphasis on other instruments like the saxophone when the piano isn't present
  4. 00:16:699 (1,1) - yeah, an these things should be on purple 1/6 ticks too i think putting these on 1/6 would be harder to play, but i'm not sure, if i get more complaints about the timing here i'll be happy to change it
  5. 00:30:326 (1,1,1) - what do these things follow? they follow a buildup i show through SV changes, the rhythm at this point is practically illegible so i just used the most comfortable pattern i could think of

Insane
  1. 00:53:460 (1,1) - i don't think this needs that many ncs it's to show a change in rhythm, i think it works fine
  2. 01:07:509 (1) - this thing is really offscreen fixed

Same suggestion for rhythm choice, but also maybe try to vary slider shapes? i saw "1"-shape too often ok

Normal
  1. aimod tyty
  2. sv changes are way to drastic for this kind of difficulty, you should really nerf them personally i think the sv changes are fine with how they reflect the song, and they only change SV like 4 times throughout the map
  3. 00:06:875 - don't leave this place empty, because 3/4 gap feels unnatural for newbie player fixed
  4. 00:06:981 (1) - try not to use nc way to often in lower diffs, numbers on circles give newbies good hint in what order should they click circles done

  7. 00:24:199 (1,2) - you can map this using different objects keeping this
  8. 00:30:960 - i understand that you left this place empty because of spinner, but i think you really should not leave this place empty cant really do anything about that ;-;
  9. 00:42:791 (1,1) - here you made 1/1 gap between spinner and object, so maybe make like this in cases above too? thanks for pointing this out, it wasnt meant to be a 1/1 gap here for rankability
  10. 00:46:382 (3,4,1,2,3,1,2) - this spacing is really confusing. try to keep your lower difficulties as consistent as possible since its written in rc not too sure about this tho
  11. 01:01:382 - this section feels so wrong rhythmically i'm not sure how to map this well for an easier diff, so many complex rhythms in this song

Ok, that's kinda all. Hope I helped somehow, good luck! thanks!

Don't have a mod for you, but I really hope you keep working hard on this map!

I'm enjoying it a lot and the song is nuts, so I really hope you push this to ranked!
