Hi there,

Just going around randomly modding ppls maps

Normal
00:46:171 (3), 01:46:171 (3) - Change the snap divisor to 1/4 and make the slider look like this: https://puu.sh/wEmoA/d9714d5f1f.png
01:07:031 (1,2,3,4,5) - I reckon you should make the downbeats clickable (the big white ticks) as leaving it like this feels a bit weird.
01:31:875 (2) - Just use a 3-point shape, or you can use a slider like this: https://puu.sh/wEmz2/f7add02d3e.png
01:47:109 (4) - Extend this slider so that it touches the red tick in front of it.
01:49:921 (4) - Why leave a break when you can put in some filler notes? The melody stops, but it's a bit subtle so it is safe to put notes in.
01:59:375 (1) - Avoid snapping notes to irregular points like this slider. It's not as readable.
02:02:109 (4) - You're gonna startle the player with this slider and they're gonna slider break or miss. Try to avoid this as you're in a Normal diff. :)

Hard
00:05:859 (3) - Add in a bit of repetition by starting this slider here: 00:04:921 (1)
00:17:109 (2,3,4) - 1/3 streams are dangerous in hard diffs, try to avoid them as 1. they are spaced, 2. Players are more used to streaming 1/4 streams.
01:16:171 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This kind of spacing doesn't tell players that they are close together on the timeline, especially with the HD mod. Put them closer together.
01:25:546 (1) - Avoid bezier sliders like these. They are unnecessary and the curves aren't as clean as the usual 3-point sliders.
01:48:867 (4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - I believe you went overboard with the idea of 1/4 notes in Hard diffs. This configuration should be for insane diffs.
01:59:375 (1,2,3) - These notes are too far forward by 1 tick.
02:01:328 (1) - Avoid starting notes on non-white ticks. It damages the readability of this map.

[General]
  1. According to M2U's website, this track is actually called "Black Rose Remix by TAK". So, uh, it's either using that as a title, or using "TAK - Black Rose Remix" as artist - title, putting M2U on tags.
  2. Seems like the song is on EZ2DJ, so it'd be interesting if that was on tags.
  3. I think it'd make more sense if the spinner in all diffs ended at 02:07:381
[Normal]
  1. 00:10:546 (1,2,3) - Would look/play nicer if you arranged these like this
  2. 00:17:109 (5) - A NC here would be good to indicate the change in rhythm
  3. 00:21:796 (1,2) - IMO, something like this would flow better
  4. 00:27:421 (1) - According to your NCing logic, the new combo here should be at 00:29:296 (4) - instead
  5. 00:32:109 (2) - Sliderend should be snapped to the red tick, if you listen at 50% it should make sense
  6. 00:40:546 (1) - In my opinion it'd make more sense if the wiggle was at the slidertick, to emphasize the skipped beat
  7. 00:44:296 (1) - nazi: move 1px right to stack perfectly with 00:42:421 (4)'s sliderend
  8. 00:46:171 (3) - NC here to indicate change in rhythm? Also, this slider isn't snapped properly. The repeat should be at the blue tick at 00:46:522, and since it's a repeat slider, there's no way to make it end at its correctly snapped location (00:46:756), but for rhythm simplification purposes, letting it end at the red tick isn't too bad.
  9. 00:58:359 (4) - Seems like an unusual shape to use in a normal diff, I think it'd be better if it was just a straight slider (or the red sliderpoint being closer to the middle of the slider, like 01:35:859 (6) - )
  10. 01:02:109 (4) - Same issue with the wiggle as before, also the sliderend should be snapped to 01:02:811
  11. 01:07:265 (2,3) - Maybe do something like this for better flow?
  12. 01:09:140 (5,6) - Maybe move (6) to x268 y216 for better flow? Don't forget to adjust spacing with next note if you do this
  13. 01:14:296 (1,2) - IMO would be cooler if you curved the slider the other way, to make it blanket like this
  14. 01:31:875 (2) - This slider looks pretty ugly for me, I'd just rather use the new slider algorithm on it
  15. 01:46:171 (3) - Same issue as 00:46:171 (3)
  16. 01:49:921 (4) - If you move the red sliderpoint to x312 y168, the sharp edge will snap to the red tick, making more sense with the song (don't forget to adjust spacing with next note if you apply this)
  17. 01:52:499 - This break feels really awkward, especially considering this section was mapped in the other diffs. Even some simple rhythm here will work just fine.
  18. 01:59:296 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - I think the claps you used in the previous combo would work here just fine.
[Advanced]
  1. 00:17:109 (3) - NC here to indicate change in rhythm?
  2. 00:24:609 (3) - Would flow better if this was curved upwards
  3. 00:26:250 (2,3) - This small overlap is hurting me >:
  4. 00:31:171 (1) - Reverse here should actually be snapped to 1/4
  5. 00:32:109 (2) - Should be snapped to red tick instead
  6. 00:33:984 (3) - Maybe move it a bit left to avoid the small overlap?
  7. 00:46:171 (5) - Should be snapped to 1/4 instead
  8. 00:59:296 (1) - This should really be stacked with 00:58:125 (2), would look much nicer
  9. 01:01:171 (5) - Maybe move the reverse sliderpoint to x276 y201 to make it fit with 01:00:234 (3)?
  10. 01:10:546 (1) - Add a finish hitsound?
  11. 01:30:000 (3,1) - Might want to fix the spacing here
  12. 01:34:921 (1,2) - Overlapping a bit too much IMO, maybe move (2) to x69 y250?
  13. 01:59:296 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - Adding some claps here would be nice
  14. 02:00:233 - seems weird to me that you skipped this beat, doesn't seem to fit with the rhythm you used through the rest of the map
[Hard]
  1. 00:07:734 (5,1) - (1) isn't properly stacked with (5)'s sliderend
  2. 00:31:796 (2) - Should be snapped to the red tick instead
  3. 00:33:750 (2,3,4,1) - Spacing is kinda weird here, is it intentional?
  4. 00:46:171 (1,2,3) - Should be snapped to the blue tick
cool map and nice song

Metadata check from my queue!

M2U's official website: http://www.m2ustudio.com/index_en.html (check song number 72).

Artist: M2U
Title: Black Rose Remix by TAK

Source should be empty since M2U's website says this music is from EZ2DJ but does not specify which game. I tried looking for that but I couldn't find anything, it actually just looks like this music is non-existent, it's not listed anywhere else other than on M2U's website lol. You should simply leave ez2dj in the tags.
Other than that, your tags look fine, remove M2U once you fixed the artist name.

I tried looking for that but I couldn't find anything, it actually just looks like this music is non-existent, it's not listed anywhere else other than on M2U's website lol. You should simply leave ez2dj in the tags.
Other than that, your tags look fine, remove M2U once you fixed the artist name.
Alright sounds good! Thanks

  4. 02:02:812 (1,1) - Give more breathing time between spinnerstart and the last note.Delete the last lote.
[Advanced]
  1. 00:15:234 (5) -The slider end should turn to the next note,or this would confuse the beginners.
  2. 00:33:515 (2,3) - Much better if you can put it upside-down?
  3. 00:44:765 (2,3) -overlap
  4. 01:35:859 (3) - The slider end should turn to the next note,or this would confuse the beginners.

[Hard]
  1. 00:40:078 (4) -Put another note on 00:40:312 to make it more comfortable.
  2. 01:43:359 (3) -Stack this on 4 instead of 2,as the present way may confuse the players.
  3. 02:02:578 (6) -Don’t stack this on 5,put it at somewhere farther.
Really nice song.Good luck to you~! :)

  1. 00:29:296 (1) -overlap,maybe you can put it upside-down? Intentional Overlap
  2. 00:43:359 (5,1) -overlap. Intentional
  3. 01:33:046 (1,2) -overlap. Intentional
  4. 02:02:812 (1,1) - Give more breathing time between spinnerstart and the last note.Delete the last lote. Spinner lasts long enough to where a break isn't necessary
[Advanced]
  1. 00:15:234 (5) -The slider end should turn to the next note,or this would confuse the beginners. Its an advanced, A little flow break on a NC for emphasis won't ruin a play
  2. 00:33:515 (2,3) - Much better if you can put it upside-down? it would look ugly, and its not confusing now
  3. 00:44:765 (2,3) -overlap Intentional
  4. 01:35:859 (3) - The slider end should turn to the next note,or this would confuse the beginners. Same as above
  5. 01:42:421 (1,2) -overlapOfc its an overlap, its a 1/4 spacing.
[Hard]
  1. 00:40:078 (4) -Put another note on 00:40:312 to make it more comfortable. There's no notable noise to map
  2. 01:43:359 (3) -Stack this on 4 instead of 2,as the present way may confuse the players. doesn't make sense, would be confusing
  3. 02:02:578 (6) -Don’t stack this on 5,put it at somewhere farther.I like it as it is now, Not confusing and its fine to play
Really nice song.Good luck to you~! :)

00:24:375 (2,4) - fix overlap

00:26:952 (4,1) - blanket slider

00:38:437 (3,1) - blanket

01:15:703 (4,1) - i like blankets. blankets are warm and fluffy. blanket your sliders.

01:17:578 (3,4) - make this linear

01:16:171 (1,2) - this is a normal. you should keep on using 1/2 sliders instead of using 2/3 sliders. and there is a sound on the red tick anyway.

01:25:546 (1,2) - you shouldn't ever overlap a sliderhead on normals.

01:27:890 (2) - ^

01:46:796 (2) - just snap this to 1/4.

02:00:233 (3,4) - blanket?

and sorry i only modded one diff im tired D:

hi! normal and advanced as requested.
really cool song

Normal
00:31:171 (4) - this should be snapped like this

00:46:171 (1) - a repeat slider isn't actually appropriate here as the last part of the rhythm lands 1/4 earlier than the repeat slider does -

- the circle represents where the rhythm ends.
the same goes with 01:46:171 (3)!

01:27:421 (4) - i would recommend a NC here to emphasize the percussion. it's already happened on 01:29:296 (1) so i think it would fit well.

01:31:171 (1,2) - you should start the second slider on the next downbeat/white tick instead as currently it lacks emphasis even though the percussion continues onto it. i'd extend the repeat slider by 1 repeat as well since the percussion is phrased as 1-2-3-4-1 anyways.

Advanced
00:46:171 (5) - the same deal with the normal rhythms

00:46:171 (1) - NC for downbeat? you've also done it with the same musical phrase in 00:31:171 (1) so it would be good for consistency as well.
same deal with: 01:01:171 (5),

00:47:812 (7,1) - i wouldn't recommend stacking these as they're both very different sounds

01:18:046 (1) - NC? you've done this in 00:47:812 (7,1) so maybe just for consistency

01:46:796 (2) - should be snapped to the blue tick.

you may want to NC 01:47:109 (3) as you've done it with places like 00:17:109 (1) and 01:32:109 (1).

cool stuff, good luck! c:

  1. 00:11:953 (4) - there is a strong beat here that you ignore - couldn't use atleast make this a 00:22:500 (2) - repeating slider too or add a note since it ain't doing no harm?
  2. 01:35:859 (3) - this kind of looks weird to me maybe just straighten it out to make it look better because it look kind of short
    http://imgur.com/a/zKAF3 - this is what I mean't btw if u got confuse
  3. 01:33:984 (4,5) - fix this stack
  4. 01:43:828 (5) - this can be curve slightly better - this is minor and barely noticeable just it pointing it out..
  5. there could be a note right here since it ain't really messing up the patten - up to you though 02:01:171 -
Couldn't find anything in the other difficulties

00:31:171 (4) - pretty sure this is meant to be a 3/4 repeat slider
00:46:171 (1,2) - DS
01:01:171 (3) - same as first point
01:31:171 (1,2) - perhaps repeat slider 1 once more and start slider 2 on the next white tick? would capture the music better imo
01:41:250 (2) - perhaps shift this to the left? would improve flow a little bit towards 01:41:484 (3) -

a
01:01:171 (5,6) - DS
01:25:546 (1,2) - imo this stacking is too much for an advanced diff, rather hard to read because there's no applied stacking there. unstack so it's like 01:30:234 (1,2) - ?
01:34:921 (1,2) - DS
01:46:796 (2) - pretty sure this is on the blue tick. can try replacing with a 1/2 slider on the blue tick instead?

h
00:31:171 (1) - pretty sure meant to end on blue tick. the percussion at these times are on the 3/4 tick
00:31:875 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - not very intuitive to read... you can try improve it a little by NC'ing 00:32:109 (3) -
00:40:546 (1) - is the finish on slider tail meant to be there or the head
00:46:171 (1) - same thing as first point
00:46:953 (3) - blue tick
00:47:812 (8,1) - flows a bit weirdly. perhaps something like this?
01:16:171 (1,2,3,4,5) - too difficult for a hard diff.. consider overlapping them instead. spacing too similar to 1/2 spacing
01:46:953 (3) - blue tick
