7/1/17- need to add hitsounds.
7/6/17- added hitsounds.completed hitsounds until 3:02:222. I'll try looking for snare hitsounds that will go well with 1:15:848 if I feel like it.
7/10/17-completed hitsounding. might add more hitsounds later. replaced some circles with sliders.
-added the hitsounds. map is pretty much complete.
-Ready for modding!
7/15/17- time to remap like a mofo and grind some knawledge
7/16/17-Remaped and responded to mods.
-Changed slider ticks
-My school starts tomorrow (7/17/17) so I might not respond to mods as fast.I will still update this map from time to time though!

[General]

You can alter how far your objects should be distanced by pressing alt and using the slider in the top right corner. Most new mappers don't know that and it seems that you are one of them.
Try to start doing easier difficulties - you won't get far with harder ones bc you will always try to use jumps - and that's something that needs a more advanced understanding of mapping.
Do me a favor and try to map something more "beginner-friendly", something that got a more basic beat to it. Songs like that encourage you to create your own rhythms, and I think you need more experience to fully utilze it. But before I just brag all the time - I really like how you hitsounded the map and that's something that will come really in handy - especially when you start mapinng such songs with a more basic understanding. I don't want to disencourage but rather I'm suggesting to keep on gaining experience. :3
Oh and use a sliderlslide without sound for your map - fits much better imo.
Learn how to properly use Distance Snap. After that you can try mapping partly without it (jumps).

Damn that's a shame. I'll try using the distance snap from now on! If I find a slow song I'll try mapping that next time. I'll still try to improve this map though cause it's such a waste for it to go to the graveyard :(

00:20:652 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - can you make this a stream like 00:14:475 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) -, players will read it much more easily
00:29:868 (8) - I think you should make this 2 single notes to follow the vocals
00:31:534 (1) - this silder shouldn't be too rushed and also the slider's end does not fall on a tick
00:32:809 (1) - I think you should shorten the slider and add a note on the white tick (to match the vocals)
00:58:299 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - add some curves to this stream
01:19:868 (1,2,1,2) - these sliders look very uncomfortable
01:22:515 (7) - you should remove this note, there's no sound there and placing it between those two sliders like that is just uncomfortable
01:23:299 (4) - this note is unnecessary
01:31:633 (3) - uncomfortable slider
01:51:535 (1) - there are sounds after this note so I think you should add some notes after that
02:12:613 (2) - remove the last point of this slider (make it a straight one) and add a note on the red tick (it'll look much better then that slider)
02:16:731 (1) - shorten the slider and add single notes to match the vocals
02:10:457 (1) - the hitsounds from here to 02:32:418 (2) - are too loud (except for the stream)

And in my opinion, you don't need to add those weirdly-shaped sliders, and those with red points, I mean, you probably added them because you are afriad that just the usual straight or curved sliders would be boring but I don't like your sliders. I find them very uncomfortable. But hey, that's just my opinion. You do you.

About what AnimeStyle said, I'm a new mapper too and I completley ignored the Distance Snap and I think the fact that you chose this challenging song to be your first map is very brave.

  6. 01:45:358 (1,1,1) - I think they need a bigger distance between them. Yeah, as we can see the SV here seems a bit big and looks like this low distance for 1/2 snap would be misread as 1/4 snap. Maybe this far is enough for it. It's also applied for 01:48:496 (1,2,3) - , 01:53:202 (4,1,2) - , 02:01:045 (1,2,3) - , 02:02:613 (6,1,2) - .
  7. 01:58:986 (4) - This slider ends on a nowhere. Put its tail at least on 01:59:182 - , that would be better (well, maybe you just misplaced it xd).
  8. 02:00:260 (5,6) - Avoid fully stacking a same slider consecutively. This way of stacking would be really unnoticeable and can be ended with a fail in game play because it was unnoticeable. At least put the next slider at somewhere it would be noticed. For example like this one (or if you have another idea instead, that's ok).
  9. 02:35:947 (3,4) - I think the slider is more deserve a click on the red tick. So how about switch their position ?
  10. 03:55:556 - I'm not sure if we really need Kiai here. It only have the "Chorus" vocal, but not the instrument. The instrument was really calm here, so putting a kiai here doesn't seems so suitable. I suggest to remove the kiai.
  11. 04:08:105 (1,1) - Just like 02:00:260 (5,6) - . And also here I see there was a reverse point on 04:08:693 (1) - so when you move this away, try to move it somewhere the reverse point would be visible visible since the rules said all the reverse point must not hided by any notes (it's to avoid confusion in reading).
  12. Your combo looks very irregular. Much of the New Combo placed on an unreasonable places (for example : 00:38:887 (1) - , 00:39:279 (1) - , 00:40:456 (1) - , 00:40:652 (1) - ). Usually, New Combos are placed on every 4 beats combo. I think you could apply that here.

I mostly mod about some fatal errors on your map. But don't worry, the fatal errors could be fixed easily ;) .

  4. 00:32:417 (1) - you seem to be abusing nc too much. NC should only be used to break the song down into measures or downbeats, or to help with readability. I suggest you go through everything, only nc on every downbeats, and only nc single sliders that has sv changes/hard overlaps for readability. Otherwise, abusing nc will just give players a ton of hp for nothing really
  5. 00:50:358 - maybe extend spinner to here since you follow the fuzz sound which ends here. Also gives a good contrast to the previous part which is less intense
  6. 01:04:182 (1) - as mentioned, remove unnecessary nc for objects like this and also nc where it should like 00:44:181 - 00:45:750 -
  7. 01:25:162 (1,2,3) - hard to read as 1/4 since spacing is unusually high unlike anywhere before. overlap or stack them
  8. 01:28:888 - make a slider like you did in the other kiais to represent the water drop sound

Also I think you'll need a lot of improvements on slidershapes and aesthetics + spacing structure. But your rhythm is creative so not bad!

Going to do more of a general mod instead of specifics. (I hope you're ok with that)

Ok so you've nailed down the basics of mapping, basic patterns and some complex patterns (Or what I consider 'complex' patterns) and some good use of flow. However, poorly structured. Look at ranked beatmaps of anime op maps or any ranked map and see how they're structured. Right now that's pretty much the only problem, this map would be 10x better if you could structure your objects well. Also, try to make cleaner slider shapes because sometimes it kind of looks ugly like this: 02:00:514 and 02:52:418 (5)

But your sliders aren't always ugly, in some cases it goes really well with the song! :D

05:01:252 (1,2) I'd rather move (1) in a different position than (8,9,10,11) and move (2) as well but your choice.
04:45:247 (4) slider end not snapped.

Why not just merge the first two kiai sections together and then the same for the second and third two? I get there's like a bubble sound but this causes errors in AiMod. I mean this doesn't make it unrankable but I'd rather have it merged because I think it's much better and there's not a huge reason to split it up. The bubble pop is still part of the intense part and not much of a big pause so yeah.

So umm... I'm gonna remap for the 3rd time I think 'cause I need to apply structure. I watched a single video about structure so I have a rough idea on what I need to do/change. If you have some tips/explanations about structure please help me out XD

00:00:260 - 00:09:475 - Soooo... Basic. Try to make variant sliders. Not to make them so circular.
00:12:613 - Put this inherited point in 00:12:809 . You don't have to give it earlier.
00:12:809 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Try to make bigger spacing. The sound is linear, you don't need to part them. And again, try to make it more variant.
00:13:201 (3,6) - This sounds clearly has longer sounds. I recommend you to listen it in 25% speed.
00:13:985 (7) - This slider is non-sense. The Sound is on red tick (00:14:181) On White tick(00:13:985) there is no sound or I can't hear that.
00:14:377 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - On that stream I would do something like that. Actually the notes 3 and 4, 7 and 8 are one sound. Fit it to your preferences to make this playable and readable pattern.
00:15:946 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Here we clearly hear changing sound. Why you did it before when sound was linear.
00:18:495 (6,1) - This isn't give a hearable sound at all. Try this.

  1. 5:00 minute drain... I for one, believe the there should be a break somewhere in the 2nd half of the song as 5 minutes is quite a bit of play time but then you would have to map more than 1 difficulty. :)
  2. Lower AR to 9... there really isn't a reason why it needs to be 9.3.

Unfortunately, and I'll say it right off the bat, I did not sense a single moment of rhythm while playing this difficulty. There were lots of great ideas and moments where it looks like the map was going on the right path only to be met with awkward, abrupt, and unsupported changes in patterns that made little to no sense to play. I found myself sightreading that entire thing while ignoring the music because when I tried to listen to the music I ended up falling off rhythm. I'll try my best to remember everything that bugged me, there was a lot...

00:00:260 to 00:25:358 - Where you have those really longer sliders, just map the bouncing synth that's playing instead. What you have mapped doesn't really fit with how the rest of the map is and quite frankly, it feels like lazy mapping to me.
00:12:809 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - Consider mapping something other than the hihats and try to be a little bit more consistent. Variation is fine, playing the same pattern over and over gets boring, but there is just way too much here and the entire pattern feels random. I counted 6 different patterns in this section, all representing the same monotonous hihat sound. Meanwihle the funky synth is playing in the background being ignored.

I am going to end this mod early because I don't want to write up a storm. Essentially the map suffers from a few problems and I'll lay them out for you:
  1. Poor choice of which sounds to represent. There are many sections where the strongest sound in the song isn't being mapped and this causes a conflict where the player is not playing what they're hearing. There are so many good sounds to make this an interesting map.

  3. 01:17:123 (1,2,3,4,5) - THIS IS GOOD. This is that moment of "going down the right path" I mentioned earlier. Only at this part did I finally manage to fall into rhythm but then it ends when you reach 01:19:868 (1,2,3,4).

03:23:202 (8) - Put anchor that end of slider and first circle in antijumps were in a straight line. I don't understand what you're trying to say It was like this and I think that It will be much better idea to make something like that To make a straight line from sliderend to 1st circle of antijumps. I hope that you got it.
