The hitsounds in Koala's hard diff aren't the same as the other two. They should be the same as the "Easy" diff and the "Not Safe Anymore" diff because they have very correct hitsounds with customs ones which follow the different rythmics and so should koala's. hitsounds are pretty much the same in the chorus and the first half is different since he's following vocals too but i'm ignoring them completely. also mine use custom ones too lmao (also its kinda bad if hitsounds r the same in all diffs since difficulties might follow different parts of the song, especially when theres a different mapper involved

You should change the shape of the second slider 00:42:350 (1,2) - and make it curved around the head of the first one maybe ? don't see why i'd do that since this plays out well and follows the same triangle created with the previous pattern which looks cool lol
00:53:950 (4) - This slider is really close to 00:53:550 (2) - and makes it weird to follow due to the curved mouvement. ? it's not even that close and I don't really see why the curved movement is an issue since the pattern forms a very acute angle (which is good flow)
01:05:950 (1) - This slider is really weird, you should shape it differently because it's not aesthetic at all. the whole point of that slider is not to be aesthetic (compared to everything else in the song) since the song is distorted here it makes sense to use a distorted slider shape to accurately represent this difference in the song.
01:09:150 (1) - It shouldn't overlap. 01:07:950 (1) - It's not aesthetic either. thats very subjective. i don't see how the overlap isn't aesthetic and theres a gap of over a beat between the two sliders meaning it really doesn't affect readability. shouldn't be any problem
01:12:250 (3,1) - Don't make a double here even if there is a strong sound here 01:12:250 (3) - you didn't map anything on a blue tick and you shouldn't do it here too, it makes it really weird to play especially on a hard difficulty. hard difficulties allow for quite some difficult patterns. here i do like how the double represents the song (and tbh its quite easy to single tap it with the low bpm) but I'm willing to change it if a BN or very experienced mapper says so, but for now no change
01:12:350 (1) - This slider as the one before is not aesthetic, I suggest you to change its shape. same as before
01:15:550 (1) - it's quite a good slider but you should curve the first part a bit more before the loop to make it look like the curved one after it. ok

Overall usage of spacing on extended sliders look random. For example this 00:56:350 - high pitched section has all stacks but this 00:53:150 - doesn't have any overlap. fml i was hoping i wouldn't have to explain this since its quite hard to explain. theyre not random, i can explain why i stacked/didn't stack every slider in the chorus. ok so starting from 00:43:550 (4,5) - these are stacked as the sounds here are somewhat continuous, while 00:43:950 (5,1) - are spaced out since it kind of sounds like theres a bigger gap between the sounds these sliders represent. Basically I'm grouping up the more continuous sounds by stacking and separating the groups through spacing and this concept can be applied to all similar patterns representing the same sounds in the chorus (i won't explain each one). for 00:53:150 (1,2,3,4) you can't really compare it to the rest of the patterns you mentioned since the sounds are different so therefore theyre mapped differently. Normally for these sounds i'd use 1/2 sliders (like 00:51:950 (1,2) ) but since the sounds here are comparably more intense i used circles to accurately represent that increase in pitch (00:53:550 (2,3) ). Also normally these 01:02:750 (1,2,3,4,5) - should all be stacked underneath each other according to my logic but since they are the most intense sounds in the chorus I chose to space them out to emphasize that increase in pitch again. hopefully thats clear enough

01:12:250 (3) - This 3/4 stack is hardly readable, needs atleast a NC and possibly separation from 01:11:950 (2) -same as other mod,also a NC on 01:12:250 (3) would make it worse since I used NCs on white ticks everywhere in the song so having a NC on a blue tick here would confuse players and make them think the note was on a white tick. The way I have NCs right helps a lot with readability. also moving it away is an option but i'd rather not as it conflicts with the concept where i have the notes following this kinda drum beat (01:11:950 (2) ) stacked underneath it

The slider speed and shape variation is really neat. I left a kudos because this deserves to be ranked, good luck!

[Easy]
Small grid level is messing up the distance snap and blanketing, instead use tiny grid size or no grid instead. Also, because a lot of the blankets you're doing are exactly the same, you can just do one and copy-paste the others to make them look more uniform (and also it's faster).
No combo colours?
00:25:550 (3) - Move this circle up a bit.

[Koala's Hard]
00:43:550 (4,5,1,2,3,1) - In places where the slider end is on a blue tick, the hitsound is a bit offputtingingly loud.
01:04:350 (5,1) - The head of 5 is a little bit too close to the body of 1.
01:11:150 (1) - This slider should be 0.75x speed.

Small grid level is messing up the distance snap and blanketing, instead use tiny grid size or no grid instead. Also, because a lot of the blankets you're doing are exactly the same, you can just do one and copy-paste the others to make them look more uniform (and also it's faster).

00:27:150 (3,4) - i wouldn't recommend placing these sliders like this bc earlier you used a very similar arrangement to represent very different sounds / you did it for 1/4 gaps
00:51:550 (5,1) - this is super uncomfortable to play. either make it flow better or like make the spacing less extreme or something

you should probably ask or at least tell if you're gonna remove my GD from the set especially when u use my diff as a template and use the exact same rhythm as me, even the same patterns at times. rude. also the notes on empty sounds in the intro of your insane are still unrankable just saying. gl

Hai, from my modding queue!

Imakuri's Normal:
Rhythms and Timing
00:17:950 (2) - There are 2 occasions where there is a note mapped like this, where there is no sound it is actually following. You are not following the vocal line so this circle shouldn't really be here.
00:29:350 (6) - The same can be said here, but this time it works and I have seen maps ranked like this, so it really is up to you. You'll probably keep this one.
00:55:150 (1,2) - You have mapped this sound here, but not mapped the exact same sound 1 bar earlier at 00:51:950 (1) . You also don't map this sound again some time later, after mapping it in the bar before that.
New Combos
00:56:350 (1) - To follow the pattern you have already set, this should not be a NC, but 00:58:350 (4) should be instead.
00:59:550 (1) - Remove NC.
01:01:550 (5) - Place NC.
01:02:750 (1) - Remove NC.
Placement, Spacing and Aesthetic
00:37:550 (1) - This repeating slider doesn't look too good at the angle its placed, but this is subjective.
00:40:350 (1,2,3,4) - Do you want your aesthetic to be perpendicular like this here? You don't have this style anywhere else in the map and it doesn't really fit in. You could do something similar to this instead : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8770712 .

Overall it is a nice map, the flow works well and the rhythm choices work well, they just need to be more consistent.

Hard:
Rhythms and Timing
All of the long 3/2 sliders in the beggining, their ends do not land on any sound in the song. You are creating/mapping a rhythm that doesn't exist in this song. This can work, but you should ask yourself if it works here as it is subjective.
00:21:150 (4) - This slider... The hitcircle is not mapped to a sound, as you are not mapping the vocal line, the tick is not mapped to a sound, and the end isn't mapped to a sound. This is less subjective as I believe this isn't rankable as it simply isn't mapped to the song.
00:40:950 - There is a very important sound here that is mid way through a slider. These sliders don't really follow the song here, and you have mapped this same sound differently later on.
Placement, Spacing and Aesthetic
00:30:350 (4,5) - This overlap does not look very pleasing, the other overlaps do work though. With this one what I would do is rotate each slider by around ~5degrees so they'd look like this : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8770866 . This is common in modern mapping.
00:36:150 (2,3) - CTRL+G. This will turn the pattern into an actual star rather than being hard to read as it currently is.

Overall it is a nice map, the flow works well and the rhythm choices work well, they just need to be more consistent.

Rhythms and Timing
All of the long 3/2 sliders in the beggining, their ends do not land on any sound in the song. You are creating/mapping a rhythm that doesn't exist in this song. This can work, but you should ask yourself if it works here as it is subjective.
00:21:150 (4) - This slider... The hitcircle is not mapped to a sound, as you are not mapping the vocal line, the tick is not mapped to a sound, and the end isn't mapped to a sound. This is less subjective as I believe this isn't rankable as it simply isn't mapped to the song.
actually the slider is mapped to a piano sound and the circle to a little kick so it works well :p

00:40:950 - There is a very important sound here that is mid way through a slider. These sliders don't really follow the song here, and you have mapped this same sound differently later on.

Placement, Spacing and Aesthetic
00:30:350 (4,5) - This overlap does not look very pleasing, the other overlaps do work though. With this one what I would do is rotate each slider by around ~5degrees so they'd look like this : https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8770866 . This is common in modern mapping.

  1. Only 1 thing I don't like, and I'm sure people have said this but 00:47:550 (3,4,1) - I would definitely not use this spacing here. It's really confusing for Easy.

  1. 00:19:150 (3,4) - Mapping these in this way devalues 00:22:350 (3,4) - 00:25:550 (3,4) - cuz rhythms from the latter two is more prominent, I would either remove 00:19:550 (4) or just make 00:17:950 (2) a repeat slider but up to you I guess
  2. 00:36:750 (3,4) - Don't do overlap that leads to a slidertail in Easy lol, actually 2 circles instead of 00:36:750 (3) would compliment the intensity better since it's hyping up.
  3. 00:26:350 (1) - 00:32:750 (1) - Also would be nice if you can keep the consistency of your comboing considering the rhythms on both parts are the same. (aka the first part you did every measure and you didn't on the latter)
  4. 00:46:750 (2) - 00:58:350 (1) - Offscreeeeeen

  3. 00:41:150 (4) - General thumb rule: Don't do different things and put them in the same pattern or it'll be misleading, 00:41:150 (4) - looks the same as 00:40:750 (2,3) but the rhythm+SV is different so the whole thing plays really gross
  4. 00:49:550 (5) - As mentioned earlier about the patterning, you need to have an indicator or something that intuitively tells the player that "hey, this object is different than the others" which there are many ways to do it like NC, slider shape, or degrouping it from the pattern, etc.
Sorry to say this but I kinda lost the will to mod last diff cuz I saw what this guy said while I was modding halfway lol so that's gonna be it

Ok so i think it needs a little explanation here...
As you can see i'm not a well-known mapper so at the beginning of the mapset i tried to ask random people to make a GD for me if they were willing to and one day i asked Koala. When he gave me the finished GD i didn't really liked the way he mapped but i needed diff into my mapset and he was the only one to accept a hard GD. Then i started to think about the fact that i wanted a mapset that i'm proud of since it was my first serious one so i decided to map the hard diff myself.
So yeah i might admit that at some point i wasn't sure about the rythme so i checked into the koala's diff but it is a simple rythme that repeat itselfs the entire songs so it is not complicated to have quite the same between two same diff. Also when he says "even the same patterns at times" it is totally untrue as i used distance snap for the entire diff except at some jump part so the pattern are designed to fill with the distance snap, i didn't copied some of his pattern i can swear.

whats with the koala dude can he like confirm that's he's okay with whatever you took "inspiration" from cuz atm it's kinda in the air rn

- 00:48:750 - The way you made this slider makes the slider tick invisible lol, you shouldn't use these types of shapes in Easy diffs anyways, so maybe do something else for this slider.
- 00:54:750 (1,2) - Swap NC?
- 00:56:350 (2,3) - DS?
- 01:12:350 (2) - Making this a 1/1 slider would represent the wub better than the reverse that lands on essentially nothing of importance.

*it may look better if you keep the same ds in the whole diff
for example, 00:14:750 (2,3) - around 1.0x, but 00:13:550 (1,2) - is around 1.2x, and 00:19:150 (3,1) - 0.9x, redesign them into the similar ds like 1.0x, please check the whole diff.
*00:41:950 (1,2) - swap nc?

*as a normal diff, you change the nc too often, try to set every 2 long white line with one NC

*00:37:550 (1,2,1) - this 1/4 spacing is not recommended to be used in a hard diff.
