i dont think there's much to say about easy and normal anymore (atleast to me...)

so this mod will be on the hard difficulty

ok, for the first 5 seconds of the hard difficulty. the map uses some over lapping sliders, but the rest of the map suddenly doesnt, that's a major variation on a repetitive song, which is not good.
00:15:392 (1,2,3,4) - same with these things^
00:21:120 (2,3) - and this^ ( it's the only one in the map and doesnt repeat)
00:50:846 (1) - i believe this slider could be shaped alittle better (unless that shape was intended)
00:18:665 (2) - this kinda skips a few noises and the song kinda has an object stuck to every half beat, but the song would be so repetitive if it wasn't there >_<

the diff needs to be more consistent with it's variations especially with the reverses on the sliders during the whole song

overall, i think the bg should be changed? it's kinda low quality. the song is kinda calm and repetitive so i dont there is much to say about the diff. :p

No tengo mucho que decir pues te quedo muy bonito. Cabe recalcar que deberías usar un poco mas el limite de espacio que te da el editor de OSU asi el mapa no se veria tan raro. Aparte de esp te quedo muy bien

1) Se veria de una manera mas fluida el deslizador 00:01:211 (4) - en el mismo lugar del circulo 00:00:938 (3) -

2) Si invierte la direccion de este deslizador 00:23:574 (9) - le daria un poco mas de fluido

  1. bg.png is not used
  2. Only YashaPlay's hard has any hitsounds? Hitsounding is very important for improving the experience of a map.
  3. You don't have a preview point set.
[Easy]
A lot of the important downbeats are skipped over (the big white ticks).. These are usually very strong, so having them as sliderends can feel unintuitive to even a new player.
At least, be sure to make the points when the basic rhythm repeats clickable. This can help with your consistency in the long run.
  1. 00:05:029 (3,4) - For example, 3 could be made into a reverse slider, and a circle placed at 00:06:665 -
  2. 00:09:392 (3) - This could be a circle and then a 1/1 slider at 00:09:938 -
  3. 00:22:483 (3,1) - Or something like switching this to be a circle then the slider.
And generally keeping that idea in mind when looking at the rest of your difficulty. It's important especially in easies to carefully think about what you want to emphasize and how.
The end or reverse of a slider are less intense to play than the start of a slider or clicking a circle.

The placements in this difficulty are a lot nicer than normal's, so I have nothing else to say.

Generally, I think there's too much constant 1/2 which takes away from the feeling of the song which has occassional pauses.
Most suggestions are for this.
Also, I feel like the placements in this difficulty are a lot more clustered than in Easy's. That is more of an overarching problem though, so it's difficult to just list any specific point to change.

  1. 00:05:029 (4) - I think.. this goes a pixel or two offscreen. Raise it a bit just to be safe.
  2. 00:03:665 (2) - Move this to 00:03:392 - instead. That way the reverse follows the 3 notes, and there's a brief pause after it just like there is in the song.
  3. 00:09:392 (6) - This could be made into a circle instead to have a pause like there is in the song.
  4. 00:10:483 (2,3,4) - I think this should be a slider and then two circles instead. As 00:11:029 (4) - is where the sound of the song changes from the normal DU-DU-DU-DU.
  5. 00:16:483 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - How about this? To give the player a bit of a pause, and so that 00:18:120 (5,6,7) - which are the same two sounds repeated are mapped the same way.
  6. 00:26:847 (2,3,4) - You generally want to avoid overlaps like this, it can make a pattern look more cluttered.
  7. 00:28:483 (5,6) - ^
  8. 00:29:846 (2) - If you applied the point for 00:03:665 (2) - , move this to 00:29:574 - as well.
[YashaPlay's Hard]
While changing up the rhythm occassionaly for variety is good, especially in a repetitive song like this, I think this difficulty does it far too much. As a result, it doesn't really feel like it's following the song. Instead it's more like fairly random rhythms snapped to 1/2.
An example is how you go between using 1x repeats, 2x repeats, 3x repeats, and even 4x repeats.. without any obvious reason as to why.
Fixing this to where the same parts of the song get mostly similar rhythms will require big changes in the map, but this would be very important for its quality.

On the other hand, you seem to have a good grasp of placing your objects. So once this is fixed, I think this difficulty will be pretty good.

  1. Example of changing rhythm: 00:00:120 (1,2,3,4,5) - 00:06:938 (1,2,3,4) - these are completely different despite being the same in the song.
  2. 00:02:574 (2,3) - Although this is distance snapped, the way they are positioned makes (3) look unsually close to (2). You could do something like this instead.
  3. 00:13:756 (2,5) - 00:21:938 (5,7) - plz avoid overlaps like this, it looks pretty messy ;-;
  4. 00:29:029 (5) - This slider is for some reason using the old slider formula, so it's not nicely curved. Try deleting the middle anchor and readding it, that'll make it look better :)
  5. 00:48:119 (4,5) - Maybe make 5 blanket 4?
  6. 00:50:028 (8,9) - ^


Cute song, best of luck improving the set :D!

p.s. for future reference, modders are less likely to mod when they see an 8 day old mod with kudosu but no reply. It can make it look like you've given up on the set, or make them think you wont reply to them if they do mod.

Those velocity changes will most definitely confuse the new player. if they feel confident about new mechanics, they go one diff higher, am I right? Try to do a straigh slider.

[Easy]
A lot of the important downbeats are skipped over (the big white ticks).. These are usually very strong, so having them as sliderends can feel unintuitive to even a new player.
At least, be sure to make the points when the basic rhythm repeats clickable. This can help with your consistency in the long run.
  1. 00:05:029 (3,4) - For example, 3 could be made into a reverse slider, and a circle placed at 00:06:665 -
  2. 00:09:392 (3) - This could be a circle and then a 1/1 slider at 00:09:938 -
  3. 00:22:483 (3,1) - Or something like switching this to be a circle then the slider.
And generally keeping that idea in mind when looking at the rest of your difficulty. It's important especially in easies to carefully think about what you want to emphasize and how.
The end or reverse of a slider are less intense to play than the start of a slider or clicking a circle.

The placements in this difficulty are a lot nicer than normal's, so I have nothing else to say.

Generally, I think there's too much constant 1/2 which takes away from the feeling of the song which has occassional pauses.
Most suggestions are for this.
Also, I feel like the placements in this difficulty are a lot more clustered than in Easy's. That is more of an overarching problem though, so it's difficult to just list any specific point to change.

  1. 00:05:029 (4) - I think.. this goes a pixel or two offscreen. Raise it a bit just to be safe.
  2. 00:03:665 (2) - Move this to 00:03:392 - instead. That way the reverse follows the 3 notes, and there's a brief pause after it just like there is in the song.
  3. 00:09:392 (6) - This could be made into a circle instead to have a pause like there is in the song.
  4. 00:10:483 (2,3,4) - I think this should be a slider and then two circles instead. As 00:11:029 (4) - is where the sound of the song changes from the normal DU-DU-DU-DU.
  5. 00:16:483 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - How about this? To give the player a bit of a pause, and so that 00:18:120 (5,6,7) - which are the same two sounds repeated are mapped the same way.
  6. 00:26:847 (2,3,4) - You generally want to avoid overlaps like this, it can make a pattern look more cluttered.
  7. 00:28:483 (5,6) - ^
  8. 00:29:846 (2) - If you applied the point for 00:03:665 (2) - , move this to 00:29:574 - as well.

[YashaPlay's Hard]
While changing up the rhythm occassionaly for variety is good, especially in a repetitive song like this, I think this difficulty does it far too much. As a result, it doesn't really feel like it's following the song. Instead it's more like fairly random rhythms snapped to 1/2.
An example is how you go between using 1x repeats, 2x repeats, 3x repeats, and even 4x repeats.. without any obvious reason as to why.
Fixing this to where the same parts of the song get mostly similar rhythms will require big changes in the map, but this would be very important for its quality.

On the other hand, you seem to have a good grasp of placing your objects. So once this is fixed, I think this difficulty will be pretty good.

  1. Example of changing rhythm: 00:00:120 (1,2,3,4,5) - 00:06:938 (1,2,3,4) - these are completely different despite being the same in the song.
  2. 00:02:574 (2,3) - Although this is distance snapped, the way they are positioned makes (3) look unsually close to (2). You could do something like this instead.
  3. 00:13:756 (2,5) - 00:21:938 (5,7) - plz avoid overlaps like this, it looks pretty messy ;-;
  4. 00:29:029 (5) - This slider is for some reason using the old slider formula, so it's not nicely curved. Try deleting the middle anchor and readding it, that'll make it look better :)
  5. 00:48:119 (4,5) - Maybe make 5 blanket 4?
  6. 00:50:028 (8,9) - ^

p.s. for future reference, modders are less likely to mod when they see an 8 day old mod with kudosu but no reply. It can make it look like you've given up on the set, or make them think you wont reply to them if they do mod.

1. This song entirely uses piano as it's instrument (so u shouldn't use drums hitsounds 0_0) I recommend using soft hitsounds instead, it fits the instrument better and also fits the song better, the song is very calm and has low bpm (so yea)
2. I recommend using the volume from around 20-30% during non-kiai time and 30%-35% during kiai time, your hitsounds are a bit to loud for players to hear the song and like I said before, this song is calm (so yea)
3. Avoid using claps and whistle hitsounds (unless if whitsle is in soft) since like I said before, your map is compose of pianos only, u should only use hitsounds to represent da instruments (piano) and using soft only is fine
4. Go to song_setup/design to turn off widescreen support since your map doesn't have any storyboards and also turn off countdowns, since your map starts too early, u can't use countdowns

you could remove kiai, the music doesn't have any chorus/intense parts to put one
hitsounds need a lot of work because they don't reflect well the song and i found that they are inconsistant in all the set. you could make one by creating a difficulty, do the hitsounds with circles and copy them on all the diff with a hitsound copier.
00:52:483 - if possible you could put a spinner so leadabords could have some competition instead of having someone in the leadboard lifetime

Easy

00:01:210 (2,3) - i find this to not be perfectly reflecting the music because both sliders end on a downbeat. in the editor, they seems to end on a equal sound but in the music, the slider's tail is stronger than the slider head. what you can do is to place first a circle,slider then a circle
00:27:392 (2,3) - ^ + blanket issues
00:03:392 (1,2,3) - you will notice that the blanket of these are off. with the approch circle, you could fix them perfectly
00:37:210 (2,3,1) - if you fix the blanket of these, you make these a perfect triangle
00:11:574 (3) - you could basically make this a reverse slider because 00:11:574 (3,4) - sound really similar in the music, and i'll suggest to put a pattern like this : https://i.imgur.com/qC34XHO.png because the current pattern use a sharp flow which is used for strong emphasis and doesn't really fit with the music. it's basically sharp flow = more emphasis and wide flow= less emphasis exactly like the spacing emphasis.

the thing i explained in easy about angle emphasis applies in this, you made all the notes equally too strong which makes the map not really structured, you can just look at the very first pattern 00:00:120 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -
another thing is that the diff doesn't have a lot of variation in rhythm, the first 10 seconds, i only saw 3 circles for like 50 1/2 sliders. you can put some variation by adding more reverses or put a circle depending on the song

00:04:483 (1) - it's not every weird pattern in normal you must nc, you can remove this one
00:19:210 (5,6,1) - a third general way to emphasize (and it's similar to taiko emphasis lol) is to use 2 different types of objects for constrast. i think you could ctrl+g the rhythm of 00:19:756 (1,2) - for that + avoiding the slider ending on a strong sound

nc's need some reworking because they are inconsistant and does not represent well the song, i'll suggest to put one every 1 downbeat (every 4 white ticks)

00:01:211 (4,1) - this overlap could be avoided
00:02:846 (2,3) - this rhythm could be easily ctrl+g because the slider end on a strong sound which you should avoid it for emphasis issues
00:17:574 (6) - for the similar reason as above, this end on a strong sound, you could easily map this with a slider + circle instead of a slider reverse
00:05:847 (3,4) - ctrl+g the rhythm refelct better the melody
00:07:211 (2) - 00:08:301 (4) - can you explain why you put that reverse ? the music doesn't vary too much for variations like these
00:14:847 (5) - you should think about a another pattern because this note isn't emphasized at all with the current pattern
00:24:665 (5,6,7) - if you want to make this pattern perfect, you have to blanket them perfectly
00:27:120 (3,4) - this kind of pattern is really confusing to play and should be avoided in hard difficulties as it goes backward like a slider reverse without the reverse
00:47:574 (4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - now the ending is full of circles while the music stay the same ??

imo the visuals are ok but you need to rework on your rhythms as it fail to follow correctly the music because of the extreme variations in rhythms. i can only suggest you to make them more consistant through the map with just minor variations

00:23:574 (2) - please use simplier slidershapes, this one is just random and looks like it was placed by accident

strangely this difficulty have the exact opposite problem of yasha's hard, you have a good rhythm but the visuals looks like nonsense and random. like all the objects doesn't have any relation each other which make the map really unorganized. you can get inspiration of your favorite mappers by analyzing their patterns used in their map so you have a idea how to place objects and think more about your structure of your patterns. you could ask "why this looks good"
if you made a good pattern and "why this looks bad" if you think it's garbage

also if you ctrl+a, you will notice that it looks really cramped and if you compare to a another ranked map, this is actually too cramped which means "this map is a mess" generally.
