thank you Aeril
this is definitely a thing...
one thing i definitely notice right off the bat is that distance snap doesnt seemed to be used very well like
00:25:664 (5,6,1) - here it you shouldnt have such a difference in distance. easy players need that time distance equality given by distance snapping everything to understand the rhythm better. also changing the slider velocity is highly discouraged
i would also suggest raising the distance snap distance as all of these overlaps are kinda ehh and make reading harder
also 00:25:664 (5,6,1) - having variable spacing like this should only really be used on spacings higher than 2 white beats
t/517731 read up on this for more in depth things all distance problem fixed
other things about rhythm mostly is like 00:17:665 (2,3,4,5) - what is this following
you should probably try to follow a specific instrument other than the drum. the constant every other beat rhythm doesnt make sense to the rest of the music.
something like this https://puu.sh/wDTHv/b10f51e602.png imo makes more sense as it just follows the horn in the song
the rhythm in the kiai is good though
00:14:080 (1,2) - you shouldnt vary slider velocity this much on a normal. around .2x of variation is like the max id say is good for a normal fixed
00:58:563 (2,1,2,3) - you need to follow time distance equality in this lower difficulty. having such differences in spacing is confusing for lower level players. fixed
01:00:541 (3,1,1) - i also really do not agree with nc usage like this, it just feels excessive in a lower difficulty. Personally i would just stick to ncing every big white tick or every other big white tick.
rhythm is good
00:01:177 (1) - can u like remove the nc here lo fixed
00:05:047 (3,4) - this stack feels unnecessary fixed
00:20:497 (4,5,6,7) - things like this look messy as the slider shapes dont have any relation to eachother as the straights have different angles even though they look to be trying to be parallel
00:34:497 (6,7) - why is there a jump here? fixed
00:45:997 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this looks especially messy since in one combo the distance snap changes so much. too much variation looks like lazy mapping rather than following the music if executed badly. i would suggest keeping 2 values of ds, one for normal spacing and one for bigger spacing and jumps of the such on the emphasized parts. fixed
these lower diffs all seem to have the same problems.
for now just going to check the top difficulty.
rhapsody of the lolicon
00:05:047 (1,2,1,2) - why are these ncd like this? if you're following the guitar, these are all the same note. I'll use circle for guitar sound and slider for vocal
also 00:10:209 (1,2,3,4) - these visuals are quite messy just using random angles like this
00:33:332 (3,4,5,1) - why do you use such large spacing for a calmer part of the song?
spacing emphasis just doesnt really work using large spacing and even larger spacing.
01:09:707 (1,2,3,4,5) - you also switch flow halfway through here for seemingly no reason as in the first 3 notes it looks like it all follows clockwise rotation but since the 1/4 slider is so shorts, its more of a (forward through the slider, back to the next slider, forward again to the next slider, up the body, down to the bottom of the screen, and then clockwise jumps) its just, messy and hard to play with seemingly no reason for the song to call for it.
this needs alot of work to be up to ranking standards, the ideas are there they just arent executed well in the top diff and in the lower diffs, you just dont really know how it seems. look at the proposed ranking criteria page i sent you as it sets guidelines to make good lower difficulties.
