The hardest are maps what have tons of circles what don't match with beats directly on the music. Or at least i can't understand them. Making this maps imposible to play for me without turn music to 0, what isn't no sense playing a músic game. I'm obessesed with them but can't find how to play them comfortable listening the music even if i spam them from time to time: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/537650&m=0
Yeah I agree I think those types of songs are elcectro or DnB or some other genres in between. There is always just so much going on in the music that it can really be hard to follow.

Worldwide choppers is just a map that you either are a pro at alternating to tap it correctly, or fast enough singletapper to singletap it. It's not really hard to read or anything. It's really straightforward to play but as I said you just have to have the control over your alternating / the speed and control to singletap.
More or less it's a very honest "speed / control check + stamina. Obviously aim is a thing, too but it doesn't feature the usual large jumps that other maps show on that level.

A similar map to Worldwide choppers would be

https://osu.ppy.sh/s/28705 (Yousei Teikoku - Kokou no Sousei)
https://osu.ppy.sh/s/39031 (Yousei Teikoku - Kuusou Mesorogiwi)
https://osu.ppy.sh/s/41242 (Yousei Teikoku - The Creator)

They have basically the same spacing as Worldwide choppers, but are 20 and 30 bpm slower to tap than Worldwide choppers and feature some more jumps.
Have a look at those two maps if you want to get better at that kind of maps. (Worldwide Choppers is on a whole nother level, though. The mapping is just very similar in a lot of ways.

"The Creator" is already a bit different, though. Still the closest beatmaps to worldwide choppers.
They are just all very "honest" beatmaps in the sense that you either are fast enough (and have the stamina to stick through it), or you're not and you have 0 chance of passing unless you mash through.
I love LISTENING to Yousei Teikoku, but playing some of those maps are a different story. I'm alright with playing 236 bpm, depending on the mapper, but a lot of the time I'm unused to such higher note density and speed, which is basically all Yousei Teikoku songs ever. I typically try to stay away from the "below 300 bpm" category because even the simplest of maps are really above my level at such high bpm.

Also I completely agree with you about val0108 maps. I can play up to 5.4* maps made by val but that's it. They throw anything and everything about typical flow out the window and really test alot of aspects of play. I don't dislike them but nor do I like them either. AngelHoney maps have a similar vibe iirc.

Hardest maptype for me is anything that requires any kind of stamina in the most simple form.
Everything else is like whatever. I'm going to choke anyway.

There are 2 things in life that are absolute, choking (this only applies to rhythm game players) and death. Give science time and we may rid of death, but no futuristic technology will stop choking.

That's the right mindset! XD Up the * ratting where you don't choke playing on it.

I find stamina one of my strongest points playing osu. Play maps like this https://osu.ppy.sh/s/367631 250bpm 10mins without use pause and take less breaks on your sessions playing. I increased my stamina at the point i can probably play maps like that for 20-30 mins tryharding 100%. I think it's because i love rock beatmaps and streams, and the best maps are around 7* 8* and usually high bpm. Also play osu everyday even If it's only 20-30 mins help to don't lose any stamina.
I find this after do a few days break because my hand was really tired after spam stream practice maps for so long, after back i had 10% of the stamina what i usually had. When i fall out of stamina, i get angry. Be angry make me tap with more energy, making the next try need less stamina.
Don't move the hand possitionament when you run out of stamina or you don't work on get stamina.
If it's a health problem I'm sorry.

Easiest: tv size pp farm jump maps in terms of easiest to get pp.
old and "hard to read" maps in terms of easist in comparison to what's usually easy/hard for other people.

hardest: streaming. the higher bpm and the longer the streams, the worse ;_;
also high bpm in general. but it's doable as long as it isn't stream-heavy i guess :x

I like "streams" to an extent, but bursty streams that are really just not the real deal. My second best pp score on https://osu.ppy.sh/b/148083?m=0 had some "extended" "streams" but nothing that I would say is a real challenge. Honestly, with how inexperienced I still am I can't consider lengthy streams in any capacity to be something I'd even be willing to try. Also if its OD 8 or above and there are x5-9 streams then say good bye to ACC because its OD 7 or no go.

easiest: pp jumps and triangles
moderate: obtuse-angle jumps, common technical maps, some gimmicks
tricky but doable: split streams, 1/3 patterns
hardest: OD10 deathstream
what I don't like: lemur, 225+ bpm triples section (usually DT maps)

Tapping is easier for me, aiming is hard.

I will answer above any beyond what is asked

Standard
Easiest: Maps with streams that aren't too spaced
Hardest: Maps with extremely awkward movements and high SV

Taiko
Easiest: Maps that use simple patterns and never have note streams of more than 20 notes at a time. Also low enough SV to HR
Hardest: Anything with 1/6 mono streams (DDKK player so these are hell)

CTB
Easiest: Maps that only use flow for patterns with few edge jumps
Hardesr: Anti-flow maps that use edge & pixel jumps in unintuitive locations

Mania
Easiest: Maps that either spam jumps or streams
Hardest: Maps with lots of complex LN patterns or Unexpected SV changes

frankly for me its different than for 99% of community

easiest: semi-technical DnB/Trap music maps | streamy rock/metal once | maps which flow like slow streams - force some kind of alternating, keep fingers busy

hardest: pp fucking garbage kys monstrata fycho tayenyang jump from bridge maps (mainly because of mindset) | deathstream maps

While Dnb and technical maps aren't my forte, I agree with you on rock and metal or maps that have streams that "flow" together, or sliders that leader into a single hit circle that you alternate then back to a new slider. The less jumps, the better.

Every mapping style is easy. I just pumped a truckload of time in any mapping style. Modern techmaps are the hardest maps for me, though. I just dislike that kind of mapping.

NINJAEDIT: I suck at jumpstreams and mods, fuck that :^)

Icy world? Is that an unranked map because I can't seem to find it in the ranked section.
