[Archived] WacomTablet_6.3.9w5 drivers issue

Problem Details:
I installed the WacomTablet_6.3.9w5 drivers which are apparently better, but when I do this, I can't use the wacom tablet properties for my wacom ctl490DW, hopefully somebody knows the issue I've got

Have you tried restarting pc? Wacom drivers are very buggy and this can help. If not, try to reinstall drivers.

Well even if I restart my pc it doesn't help, the only way for me to be able to access the wacom tablet properties, is if I install the new drivers with the CD, which forces me not to use the old drivers I want :/

Try resetting the Tablet Input Service (May need multiple times)

  1. Open run (Windows Logo + R)
  2. Type in services.msc
  3. Find Wacom Professional Service and Stop the service
  4. After stopping it, Start it again
