So about 2 weeks ago, I bought a Wacom Intuos CTL490cw and started trying it out. However, I happen to find my old tablet, the Wacom Intuos CTL480 in one of my drawers. I want to test out my CTL480 (since it doesn't have input lag) but unfortunately, I cannot seem to find the pen for the CTL480. I tried using my 490 pen on my 480 and it did not seem to work. Is there any way I can use my Wacom Intuos CTL490 pen on my CTL480?

Well, I think you just answered your own question, no?

Answer is... No.
Currently, the pen on the Ctl-490 itself is incompatible with the ctl-480. Not just the 480, but you cannot use it in any other tablet except for Ctl-490. I read that on user's comments and, i have the tablet itself.

(I think, you should make another thread.)
well... if you're talking about the ctl-480, you can try and get it cause the hover has no input lag when you use it... The ctl-490 has lag when you try to hover it. That's why you should have to tape the pen nib to the pen itself.
I guess, it's your choice whether to buy that or just use the current one.
i have the ctl-490 and i am satisfied with it. I draw and play osu! and taping it doesn't seem to be a bother for me.
