Ok so this is my first time mapping a song. And I just want to see how I'm doing so far before I make
another difficulty. I'm aiming for 4+ star difficulty. Any modding would help.

Update: Fixed some timing issues and re-worked the spacing. Still working on hitsounds

Hi , I'm from my queue to mod this map :)

Please:
  1. This diff have a bad rhythm . Please consider for it ><
  2. Make sure use inherited timing for once
  3. Make sure use Kiai Time
  4. Volume must below 100%
  5. Make a easy diff first to find a good rhythm i think :)
  6. Audio bit rate is too high ~ Please replace it with 192kbps should be fine ^^ And BG too , 1900 x 1080 shoud be fine imo

offset should start at 430 (after change should be ctrl+alt move on to white line fix all the slider on white line )
normaly slider start on white end on red or start on red end on red
and f6 move all the green line on right place (i think you get what i saying :?: )

this is the biggest thing need to change

00:06:998 (5) - This feels bad, perhaps the slider should actually start where (4) does and bounce until 00:07:322 -
00:07:647 (6,1) - This doesn't follow anything
00:26:701 (3) - I guess you wanted to place this on the white tick
00:45:755 (3,4,5) - ????
00:50:295 (3,4,5,6,7) - Overlaps are bad especially if you don't do them properly.
01:26:539 (2) - I don't think it was your intention to make a blanket here, but well.... its wrongly done if it was the intention, perhaps search some info about this technique, it will be very usefull for you

As someone pointed probably the offset is wrong, I don't know if 430 is the good one, since there's other sounds before that, I would say around 170-180.

Sorry I can't tell you more, the whole map is ..... a mess in timing, spacing, etcetera.

As someone pointed probably the offset is wrong, I don't know if 430 is the good one, since there's other sounds before that, I would say around 170-180.

Sorry I can't tell you more, the whole map is ..... a mess in timing, spacing, etcetera.I wish you were more specific on what you found wrong,
but I did re-work the map a bit as well as space things out more.

- 00:06:656 (4) - this so weird, you can change it into 3 1/2 sliders
- 00:09:656 (9) - move to red thick
- 00:09:656 - add circle on blue thick
- 00:11:926 (1) - why at blue thick? move it to white thick
- 00:18:250 (1) - move to white thick and stop at red thick (1/2 sliders)
- 00:19:061 (3) - head to white thick, tail at red thick, and now listen with 25% playback rate
- 00:21:656 (3) - head to red thick
- 00:25:385 (3) - move to white thick
- 00:51:737 (1) - why spin here? owo
- 00:57:575 - till end same as above.

- okay, wrong offset, should be 5683 I've changed and compared offset a lot and think 170 is good. This starts earlier plus I might map the earlier sections

  1. You should disable the 'Samples match playback rate' in the Audio section of the Song Setup menu here.
  2. The correct offset of the maps timing is 494. This shouldn't affect the timing of any of your notes though as it is exactly one beat ahead, but changing the timing to this is necessary as currently the metronome doesn't match the song properly.

  3. Overall Difficulty 5 seems really low for a 4* map, consider raising to to OD7+.

  4. Why didn't you map any of the song before 00:05:683 (1) - ? It sounds really similar to what you did map just lower pitch.
  5. The sliders in the first section seem like there is no logic to their placement. For example 00:05:683 (1,2) - is really close but 00:06:007 (2,3) - far. The sliders also feel like they are clumped together on the same section of the screen. You could make this a lot better by spreading the sliders out a bit more and keeping the spacing the same between them, to use up more of the play area.

  6. 00:09:332 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - You should have continued to map the melody here, instead of breaking in to a random stream and ignoring the melody. You mapped the melody with sliders before this so it seems strange. Also there are no sounds in the song that this stream is mapped to which makes it fit even less.

  7. 00:10:872 (1,2,3) - I don't know why you mapped these with the reverse sliders when you are only mapping the lyrics. There is no 1/4 beat rhythms in the song at that place, just circles would fit a lot better, This happens a lot in this map where you over complicate a lot of the rhythms and it just makes the map overall seem over done. Other examples of this being done are 00:12:737 (3,1) - , 00:37:142 (1) - , 00:39:413 (5) - , 00:59:521 (5) - , I won't mention this specific problem again in this mod since you do it a lot but I'm sure you will be able to spot it for yourself. If you set the effect volume to 0% and just look at the map with just the music, these errors are a lot easier to spot.

  8. 00:12:494 (2) - This sliders slider end doesn't land on anything in the song, this is another case of you over complicating the music. What is wrong with just having a circle here?

  9. 00:16:872 (4,5,6) - No real 1/4 rhythms in the song for you to map here.

  10. 00:17:359 (7) - It would be a lot better if this slider started at 00:17:197 - then it would match the sustained vocals.

  11. 00:22:142 (3) - Why does this start before the beat? The lyrics and synth both start on the beat.

  12. 00:24:169 (8) - This slider should keep on following the stream, instead of being right under 00:24:088 (7) - , like this.

  13. 00:26:358 (2) - This slider should start on the beat to match the song.

  14. 00:29:035 (2,3,4,5) - Recheck that you got the rhythms right here in relation to the song. I believe its all 1/4 beat early.

  15. 00:30:493 (1) - Why did you stop mapping the song and just add a spinner? You should delete the spinner and map right up to the next kiai section.

  16. The kiai section should have started at 00:36:818 - where the chorus actually begins.

  17. 00:38:034 (3) - This sliders end isn't snapped in time, and also it just doesn't match the rhythm of the song.

  18. 00:41:358 - Why did you decrease the slider velocity here, you also did it in the second kiai section. Its really weird and doesn't match the song in any way and I don't see any reason why you did it. It just makes the map more confusing to play with the sudden slowdown which doesn't represent anything in the music.

  19. Okay literally almost everything I've mentioned so far has been either you over mapping a 1/4 beat rhythm, or not mapping the rhythm of the song correctly and this mod has already gotten repetitive pointing out the same mistakes. You really need to go through the whole map and recheck the rhythm placements of every single object and if it fits to the song properly or not. I;m going to go through now from 00:38:034 - and just tell you every object I think you need to recheck the rhythm of, don't get disappointed if I paste a lot though as you can easily fix all of these and make the map much better.

    00:37:142 (1) - , 00:38:359 (1,2) - , 00:40:548 (1) - , 00:45:088 (1) - , 00:45:494 (2,3) - , 00:46:466 (5) - , 00:47:197 (1,2) - , 00:53:197 (5,6) - , 00:54:575 (2) - , 00:55:386 (4,5) - , 00:58:548 (3) - (why is this 1/3 the song isn't), 01:01:142 (3) - , 01:02:115 (5) - , 01:11:521 (1,2,3,4) - , 01:16:061 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - , 01:19:466 (6,7) - , 01:26:115 (1) - , 01:27:980 (6) - , 01:28:710 (2,3,4) - , 01:32:845 (11) - .

  20. 00:49:629 (2) - You should avoid using repeating sliders that repeat more than once for maps in general, unless they are the quicker 1/4 beat sliders. They are usually unexpected that they are going to reverse a second time when people follow them and makes maps play pretty bad. Other places you use this are 01:09:737 (8) - , 01:12:332 (6) - , 01:22:061 (10) - .

  21. I think with all the points I made so far, you can figure out where the other similar errors lie, the second kiai is pretty similar to the first and you make the same mistakes. I would have gone in to more detail about how the map looks aesthetics wise but maybe that would have been too much at this point and you should work on fixing and improving the maps rhythms first.

  22. 01:33:575 (1) - Map the song don't just do a spinner!

  23. 01:18:331 - kiai should have started here.

  24. 00:52:386 - 01:33:899 - kiai's should have ended here.
