Logitech G402 Grip Problems/Mouse Suggestions

On the left side of the Logitech G402, there is a DPI shift button. Usually I would either play with my finger beside or above the button or just press it in the whole map. When I do either of those, the grip is uncomfortable and I don't play as well. If you have a grip that avoids this problem while still being comfortable, please reply :D
I'm considering buying a new mouse, so if you have a different mouse (under $75) that doesn't have this problem, let me know :)

Get a G403 instead.

Can you disable it in the driver so it doesn't matter if you click it or not? Or perhaps set it so that there is only one dpi so that it won't change when clicked?

I don't really have a problem with it.

In any grip the button should only barely be touching the tip of your thumb, if even at all. Your thumb looks way far ahead in that pic. Also you can disable the button in the logitech software if that's a problem.

Excuse the edits... so many misspells..

I think i use same grip as you.

If you want a new mouse get the Logitech G Pro Gaming mouse. The sensor is insanely good and you can disable all the macro buttons. It's a lightweight and small, if that's your thing.

I sort of let it glide slightly on the mouse pad. It feels a bit awkward for me to completely let it rest on the mouse.

I use the exactly same grip, but i use the pinky on that position to help me to move the mouse to the left, and the thumb to the right. So my pinky finger stop touch the table because I'm using it for something.
