01:34:079 (4,5,6,7,8) - either all NC or NC at 4
01:44:394 - I hear 7 sounds in this part at 25% speed, so maybe make it 7 notes to match

HI! im here from #modreqs to see if i can help you with your map
you are a profesional mapper for me, and i have the fear my mod will not work for you at all X.X for i hope the best

General:

1. 01:13:055 - since this is like "the drop" of the song, some kiai here could be cool, but hey, youre the mapper here ;)
2. Im not sure about that kinda black color combo :S it may look hard to play with it
3. your preview point (that yellow line) is kinda delayed from the White line :S on the normal diff, is that ok?

Easy:

1. 00:05:325 (2) - why not moving this slider to X:60-Y:76? and move the last gray dot to X:124-Y:212? it could make it look better uwu
2. 01:44:946 (1) - for me this is cool, but at the same time it could be kinda hard for the newbies to understand it (maybe im wrong)

Normal:

1. 00:08:252 (5) -New Combo here?
2. 00:25:553 (9,1) - the slider should go a Little bit down, so the curve can fit with the circle "9"
3. 00:34:387 (6) - move this circle to X:272-Y168, so it fits with the curve of the slider a bit better
4. 01:11:197 (2,3,4) - try doing something like this, so it can feel better https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8198151
5. 01:31:258 (3,4) - move this whole part to X:400-Y:124, so it flows with the slider "5" curve
6. 01:34:728 (2,3) - this may a Little bit hard for a normal, why not replacing it with just a slider?

Hard:

1. 00:03:651 (4,5) - im not really ok with the slider "4" doing that :S it doesnt really fit... there is a way to replace it? (maybe im wrong, again)
2. 00:22:976 (1,2) - move slider "1" to X:248-Y:236, so it can flow with the other sliders curve
3. 00:45:246 (1,2,3) - this slider should have a... equal spacing?

Expert:

1. 00:14:694 (2,3,4) - the circle should go a Little bit more to the center, it looks like it went more to the left
2. 00:44:510 (6,7) - move the slider to X:88-Y:92, so the circle can flow with it
3. 01:23:436 (2,3,4) - these bad boys should have an equal space, maybe form a triangle... like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8198254

I hope this Works for you :(

[General]
  1. check AiMod on all diffs
  2. 255,255,255 is unrankable. Also, use a slightly darker cyan for combo 4
[Hard]
  1. You have too many 1/4 rhythms imo. Try to simplify them down since this is Hard, not Insane.
  2. 00:03:467 (3) - there isn't a sound here. no, filler rhythm isn't a good justification since there isn't a strong visual relation between both patterns {00:02:363 (1,2) and 00:03:467 (3,4)}.
  3. 00:16:718 (1,2,3) - 00:17:915 (7,8) - 00:22:608 (7,8,9) - 00:47:915 (8,1) - 00:57:945 (5,6,7) - 01:09:909 (4,5) - 01:14:050 (4,5) - 01:14:786 (2,3) - 01:18:099 (6,7) - This spacing looks like something you'd fine in an Insane, not Hard. Just stack your 1/4s instead.
  4. 01:15:522 (5,6,7,8) - Ok, this is definitely an Insane-level technique. It's not fitting for this diff.
  5. 00:31:074 (7,8,9) - 00:54:633 (6,7,8) - I get these are more powerful, but this spacing is probably too large for Hard. Save your jumps for Insane.
  6. 01:33:683 (1,2,3) - even though this is in the midst of timing change, it still feels like general 1/2, so I'd recommend you reduce the spacing. The bpm only noticeably slows down on (4).
[Expert]
  1. 00:03:467 (3) - there isn't a sound here. if you're doing filler rhythm, then it'd be better to just only map to the piano, since there are hardly any gaps of silence in between
  2. 00:41:565 (4,5) - Ctrl+g; the order is more coherent that way.
  3. 00:46:534 (1,2) - 00:46:902 (3,4) - 00:47:271 (5,6) - 00:47:639 (7,8) - Ctrl+g, since that would force (8) in the same direction heading into 00:48:007 (1). Oh, and (7,8) is structured off with the pattern.
  4. 01:01:258 - 01:06:780 - this doesn't really sound like a break section tbh
  5. 01:15:522 (1,2,3,4,5) - doesn't look like a perfect curve. it doesn't seem like your intention to not do that
  6. 01:23:988 - it's weird that you ignored this blue tick; it's also the same sound as the last three sliders
  7. 01:27:025 (9,10,11,12) - the fact that each pair of sliders are bunched close together makes counterclockwise motion feel awkward. if you had (10,12) placed like this, it would play more naturally
  8. 01:34:728 (7,8) - space these further apart to make it apparent that the timing shifts
  9. 01:38:136 (1) - sounds more accurate on 01:38:090. in this case, move the spinner to 01:38:182 in order to keep the 1/4 gap
  10. 01:44:394 (1,2,3) - the piano is too soft to warrant larger spacing

  1. You have too many 1/4 rhythms imo. Try to simplify them down since this is Hard, not Insane. Removed some triplets.

Just stack your 1/4s instead. There are some that I can't ignore since most of those involve the piano.
  4. 01:15:522 (5,6,7,8) - Ok, this is definitely an Insane-level technique. It's not fitting for this diff. Changed it up a bit.
  5. 00:31:074 (7,8,9) - 00:54:633 (6,7,8) - I get these are more powerful, but this spacing is probably too large for Hard. Save your jumps for Insane. They aren't too large, so I will keep that jump.

Hello! :)
Saturnalize
Unless you REALLY want to keep the bpm slow down like that (which I honestly believe wouldn't be like that), here's the RED LINE (uninherited) ONLY timing

1995,368.098159509202,4,2,1,50,1,0

95593,368.098159509202,4,2,1,50,1,0

note: It's not really that recommended, but if you want to keep that dramatic slow for the last part, just halve the bpm

hi from #modreqs

General

Go through AiMod on your difficulties, it's bringing up some unsnapped notes and sliders in various difficulties, one for reference:

01:32:566 (6) - Unsnapped note (Expert)

Expert

00:02:363 (1,3) - Stack these, think it will make the notes look tidier and more concise this way. You did the same at 00:05:123 (3,6) and it looks nice! :))

00:08:804 (7) - Imperfect blanket with 00:08:620 (6) and the sliderend overlap isn't the most appealing feature in my opinion

00:19:295 (6,7,8,9) - Why not try something more daring like having the distance snap gradually increase here because the pitch on each piano sound is getting lower so it could be a nice contrast to have.

00:20:583 (3) - Don't want to be too nit picky with blankets but -- hi. XD

00:22:976 (5) - X: 306 Y: 145. This will properly stack the sliderend.

00:25:921 (1,2) - Maybe copy paste one of the sliders just for added consistency?

00:29:602 (3,5) - Blanket issue with the sliderend and slider 5. A trick I use is to use the follow circle of the sliderball as a guide for how to curve on sliderends like so:

00:33:651 (2,3) - ^ (except we cant use the follow circle q.q)

00:34:387 (4,1) - ^

00:34:755 (1,5) - Consider stacking these two notes for the consistency reason I mentioned before.

00:36:596 (2,4) - ^

00:39:356 (7,9) - just so the pattern is more consistent I would make sure these two are the same shape because they're prominent in making the aesthetics of this pattern look good

00:42:117 (7,8) - Blanketing again

00:50:583 (6,9) - Stacks q.q

00:53:896 (5) - Moving this to X:220 Y:216 as an example would mean the previous sliders curvature would naturally go to the head of this slider.

00:57:025 (1) - NC here but not at, 00:51:136 (7) ?

01:00:154 (3) - Stack (but this one is more subjective due to how its used in a really nice star pattern!)

01:17:087 (5,8) - Little bit jarring when the sliderend is completely covered by the previous slider for a significant amount of time, I would see if you could make it a bit more noticable.

01:24:817 (1,2) - I feel this is undermapped from the amount of piano going on in the background, two 1/1 sliders just doesn't give the kiai the real difficulty it deserves at this part.

Pretty map, I like the use of circles that create many clean star and pentagon patterns!

Hard

00:05:860 (2,3) - Smaller blanketing issue, stuff like this is frequent on your map I will admit so I will just point them out with "blanket" instead of repeating myself each time on what to do to fix it xD

00:11:933 (3,4,5,6) - I personally tend to avoid doing this with blankets due to the tendency of stacking. It kind of nullifies the whole point of blanketing in the first place when the notes are skewed diagonally down.

00:15:246 (3,4,5,6) - Why is the spacing on 3 and 4 completely different to 5 and 6. I don't really hear much of a change in the music.

00:18:927 (4,6) - Overlap here, unsure if it's intentional though

00:21:872 (5,6) - If you're going to do a pattern like this maybe you could adjust the existing slider so that note 5 sits exactly on the center (we would want it in the middle of the tick on this slider)

00:22:976 (1,2) - Blanket issue

00:29:602 (3,4) - Maybe copypaste so we can keep consistency, same reason as in the expert.

00:30:890 (6,7,8,9) - Feels odd to play when the distance snap drastically changes with no curve or turn in the cursor motion. I can understand why you've done this as I have seen this a lot in the past and in older beatmaps and I guess it's fine if you want to keep it. In the current situation of the game it's not a popular mechanic. It's totally your call on this, but right now players may see it as a 1/1 gap when in reality it's 1/2, especially due to 00:31:442 (9,1) this being 1/1 straight after.

00:34:755 (1,3) - Overlap potential issue.

00:47:271 (6,2) - ^

00:49:847 (2) - ^

00:50:031 (3,4,5,6) - Same as before about the osu stacking in compound with blanketing reasoning and mechanics.

00:52:424 (1,2,3) - Maybe line it up so that these create an equilateral triangle like in this picture

01:14:878 (2,3) - Blanket issue

01:17:087 (3) - ^, this one is an easy fix though. Moving the end anchor from:
x:244 y:208
to:
x:240 y:208 will fix this.

01:18:927 (1,2) - ^

01:24:817 (1,2) - Same slider type for that sweet consistency xD

01:28:314 (4,1) - Blanket issue again e.e

Normal

00:07:148 (2,3) - These don't really feel mapped to anything significant, I would move them back to the red ticks because they have prominent sounds to land on.

00:24:448 (6) - New combo here for consistency with your other difficulties.

00:30:338 (6) - This is skipping over solid sounds at 00:30:706 and 00:31:074 (potentially), I would consider shortening in in order to accomodate these sounds.

00:48:743 (6,3) - Stack these maybe?

00:56:657 (3,4) - These would make more sense at: X:88 Y:248 for 00:56:657 (3)

and

X:104 Y:296 for 00:56:841 (4) . This would mean it's on the same angle as slider 2.

Easy

Slider velocity is a little high for an easy, I would consider moving it down so they don't get lost with the large sliders moving at high speed.

Also, combo colour 255,255,255 is still present in the easy (At least on my version)

00:07:148 (3) - Same as normal. There isn't really a sound this is mapped to the only real 'sound' is 00:06:964 and this is 1/2 which is subjective for a note in easy, maybe skip mapping this part unless you can make a 1/2 work for easy.

00:36:964 (4) - Blanket issue, I will put an image for this one on how I fixed it.

01:23:344 (2,2) - smol stacking issue here owo

01:44:979 (1) - Careful on this spinner, the short time and distance after the last spinner could catch newer players off guard. I'll leave this one to you though

Nice mapset, it's good to see a more diverse map style come through. Best of luck ranking this!

hi from #modreqs

Remapped this part.

00:49:847 (2) - ^

00:52:424 (1,2,3) - Maybe line it up so that these create an equilateral triangle like in this picture

i like the star/pentagon patterns, they're pretty
00:35:860 (5,6,1,2) - one's stacked, the other isn't. maybe change stack leniency so they're the same
00:55:921 (2,3,4) - if you listen closely, it's four notes, not three. is this for simplicity?
00:57:945 (6,7,8) - ^
01:22:976 (1,2,3,4) - high piano notes and weird drum start on the white tick. putting notes on the blue tick is confusing.
01:29:786 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - fix stream shape?
01:33:469 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - slowdown here is easy to misread, maybe make each new note a nc
01:44:427 (1,2,3,4) - this is the conclusion of the song, spacing is too big for something calm

Hard:
seems to have an overall issue with jumps
00:04:387 (4) - pretty big jump for a hard especially considering normal follows spacing
00:05:860 (2) - ^ :?
00:07:332 (5) - ^ (also, there's no melody, so there's nothing to emphasize here)

00:35:307 (2,3,4,5) - inconsistent spacing

01:31:994 (5,6,7) - big jump, reduce spacing
01:44:427 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - large spacing for ending with a hard

Normal:
Pretty good
00:31:074 (7,8) - the melody is equally strong on all three notes, not weaker on the third. circle, slider de-emphasizes the third sound, change to a (repeating) slider or three circles
01:33:655 (1,2,3,4) - there's no indication of the slowdown, and easy to get 100s on sliders

Easy:
Not much to say here
00:07:148 (3,4) - what is this following?
00:46:166 (5) - i don't see a purpose for this
00:47:271 (2,3,4,5) - personally i would have used a circle instead of a repeat arrow so each beat has a circle

00:08:620 (6,7) - This is one very ugly overlap (I won't comment about 00:08:252 (5,7) - since it doesn't look as ugly, it's sliders and they're further apart in the timeline so it's not as visible)

00:08:804 (7,1) - These minor overlaps however mh.. please move either 00:09:541 (1) - a bit to the left or 00:08:804 (7) - a bit to the right

00:11:749 (3,4) - I assume you ignore the 1/6 here by choice since you do it regularly, so I won't comment about this again unless it's a completely different part of the map

00:14:694 (2) - I can't tell for sure but this blanket looks slightly off to me

00:20:583 (3) - Fix blanket

00:20:583 (3,5) - ugly overlap (I would suggest to try to avoid such minor overlaps, it's just a few pixels so it can't be really deemed as part of an aesthetic choice, at least imo)

00:21:136 (4,5) - This is a bit of a more aggressive overlap but there are only 2 such overlaps in your entire map (at least that much I spotted) and it kinda ruins the clean look the map is trying to achieve. I would suggest moving the objects a bit apart so they don't overlap

00:55:921 (2,3,4) - This is 1/6 not 1/4

00:57:945 (6,7,8) - ^

01:00:522 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - There aren't any 1/4s here but I assume you did it for emphasis since it's the ending of the section

01:13:590 (2,3,4) - 1/6

01:14:326 (5,6,7) - and again 1/6

01:16:534 (3,4) - Alright over here you're not even mapping 1/4 you're ignoring it completely for some reason even though you mapped it a couple of seconds ago

01:18:007 (6,7,8) - 1/6

01:22:424 (7,8) - I assume you're back at ignoring those trills in this section so again I'll stop commenting about them.

01:24:080 (1) - more 1/6 \o/

01:24:448 (2) - ^

01:24:817 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1) - I would work more on this stream shape if I were you

01:25:829 (6) - it feels awkward to not hit the large white tick in favor of a blue tick. I would move the kickslider to replace 01:25:737 (5) - and bring 01:26:013 (7) - back by 1/4 too along with the entire rest of the stream section. That way you can fix 01:26:841 (1,2) - too.

01:27:393 (5,6,7) - This is a 1/6 yet again. You could map it using a reverse kickslider or just ignore it, your call

And an overall note is that even though the map moves around a decent amount I would also like it if it was more "daring" and gave the edges of the playfield a bit more love.

Hope this helps and good luck with the map :)

I know about the 1/6's but I was mostly focused on the 1/4 aspect of the map but I might add an extra with the 1/6's if needed.

top d
  • is od 9 hp 7 REALLY necessary for a less-than 4.5 star diff lol
nc's seem all over the place instead of just on downbeats as they should be (imo), i'd relook at them

00:09:356 (8) - this note is mistimed, seems to land on the 1/6 tick or smth
    00:10:277 (1) - remove nc
00:25:921 (1) - you're gonna need someone to timing check this because the entire mapset after this is off-sync, offset of +30 ms fixes it, also downbeat starts on this note instead of 00:25:553 (5) - here
    00:34:755 (1,5) - plz
00:36:964 (3,4,5,6) - i'd curve the stream here instead of doing straight diagonal like this, looks really awkward
00:39:356 (7,8,9) - since the main rhythm is on the slider ends here maybe add circle 00:39:356 (7) - here and sliders starting on the white ticks instead?
01:12:117 (2,3,4,5,6) - why didn't you give this more spacing tho
    01:25:829 (6,7) - blue tick sliders whYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
01:33:469 (1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1) - this plays really awkwardly because of the bpm slowdown, i would just use sliders here
ya fix ur timing dude its pretty bad rn xd

nc's seem all over the place instead of just on downbeats as they should be (imo), i'd relook at them I used the SDVX timing and another mod gave timing from pop'n music that's just as different, so if you you have universal BPM for those changes, I would be happy to see them, otherwise they are fine, they are based on the pop'n music ver.

00:09:356 (8) - this note is mistimed, seems to land on the 1/6 tick or smth Like I said to the last mod, I know it's 1/6, but do you really want it to be on 1/6 as it played and sounded badly to me imo.
    00:10:277 (1) - remove nc sure.
00:25:921 (1) - you're gonna need someone to timing check this because the entire mapset after this is off-sync, offset of +30 ms fixes it, also downbeat starts on this note instead of 00:25:553 (5) - here Fixed the NC's But the mapset is not off-sync, why would I be given wrong BPM's by the last mod if they wasn't so sure?
    00:34:755 (1,5) - plz
00:36:964 (3,4,5,6) - i'd curve the stream here instead of doing straight diagonal like this, looks really awkward
00:39:356 (7,8,9) - since the main rhythm is on the slider ends here maybe add circle 00:39:356 (7) - here and sliders starting on the white ticks instead?
01:12:117 (2,3,4,5,6) - why didn't you give this more spacing tho
    01:25:829 (6,7) - blue tick sliders whYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
01:33:469 (1,2,1,2,3,1,2,3,1) - this plays really awkwardly because of the bpm slowdown, i would just use sliders here
ya fix ur timing dude its pretty bad rn xd Timing is not wrong, NOSTALGIA doesn't provide BPM's in game and the only source of BPM's are the SOUND VOLTEX version or the pop'n music version, if you have more accurate BPM for the last section, you are more than welcome to provide it to me, thanks.

Well double check with someone who has played it in either SDVX IV or pop'n.
