[Archived] Small Problem

So I've been playing for a couple months and in the last couple of weeks. Anyway, when I hit a note it freezes,the song still plays and the beatmap sound effect loop until I close manually through task manager. It also happens when i go through menus too fast,like if I were to go to options and go back and enter the beatmap selection menu it goes to black. And it only occurs on my laptop.

I already tried reinstalling osu!,installing new driver versions and defragging.

Summary: osu! closes and/or freezes during gameplay or menu navigation and it occurs only on my laptop,My desktop doesn't suffer this.
So I would appreciate any help I could get. Even if I don't get any help I can always manage :).

Sounds like a graphics issue. If I'm reading this right your using onboard graphics. Recomend picking up a cheap one at a local shop, or if your into it invest in a nicer one, even if it isn't what solves the problem. Also, something I find that helps is dusting out your system.

EDIT:
Misread and now seeing you use a laptop. There are still way to change around the chipset for something better, so thats worth a look. Sorry! You can still dust it out though.
