So, im trying to create a new beatmap but when I drag the song in, it won't show in osu. It shows in the song folder but no the game itself

Try naming the .mp3 file audio2 or audio3, then drag it into the client.
when you first drag a song into osu it creates a blank tile for the beatmap, you have to open the beatmap first so that it can become labeled. if you click off of the beatmap it will be left as a blank tile. to find it, just sort your beatmaps by date added (at the top of the screen under "sort" pull down) and go to the most recent maps.
