just delete soft-hitwhistle and hitsound the piano it sounds so much better that way imo, adds so much more to the map instead of just very faint drum samples

high diff

00:19:150 (3,4) - arrangement can be ambiguous to read, people tend to move towards ends if stuff is remotely suggesting a shorter path (shorter path being reading it as crtlg and 1/2)

00:21:345 (5,6,7,8,1) - with all the overlapping this just looks like a low-effort pattern lol

  1. finland and helsinki are hardly a good tag to describe the song itself. Let's just remove them, perhaps.
[easy.]
  1. 00:14:760 (3) - this would feel better as two circles to stress the piano beats. it would match with the rhythm you follow better.
  2. 00:32:321 (3,4,5) - the back and forth movement with the stack is uncommon or a relaxing and simple difficulties. besides, it stands out in a way that makes it feel somewhat unintentional. can we avoid the stack somehow?

i see that you don't exactly intend to have perfect visuals, but there is literally no connection between 00:11:833 (1,2) - or 00:17:687 (1,2) - or at least not that I can see/understand clearly. oh, and 00:49:882 (3) - this one overlaps with the score-metre thingy, so it can be placed a little higher. probably you could focus more on that, since the rest is ok
[myself.]
  1. 00:10:370 (7,1) - are these different on purpose? looks like you were trying to show the same style of sliders, but decided not to copypaste it for some reason
  2. 00:19:150 (3,4) - they seem to follow the same instrument, why not make them parallel?
  3. 00:22:809 (8,1) - the overlap on its own is good, but it feels sort of out of context as this is the only one of a kind in the difficulty.
;et's just work a bit more on the visuals and give it a try.

  1. finland and helsinki are hardly a good tag to describe the song itself. Let's just remove them, perhaps. tomppabeats is an artist from finland. technically you can put this under "finnish" music.though i will remove helsinki, i agree it's a bit misleading.
I know you shouldn't use other maps as justification, but this map does the same incase you really disagree with me keeping finland in the tags. https://osu.ppy.sh/s/552732

  1. 00:14:760 (3) - this would feel better as two circles to stress the piano beats. it would match with the rhythm you follow better. yea,
i do use 2 circles and 2/1 reverse sliders for variation, but this seems a bit off, fixed.
  2. 00:32:321 (3,4,5) - the back and forth movement with the stack is uncommon or a relaxing and simple difficulties. besides, it stands out in a way that makes it feel somewhat unintentional. can we avoid the stack somehow? i went for a simpler approach

i see that you don't exactly intend to have perfect visuals, but there is literally no connection between 00:11:833 (1,2) - or 00:17:687 (1,2) - or at least not that I can see/understand clearly. oh, and 00:49:882 (3) - this one overlaps with the score-metre thingy, so it can be placed a little higher. probably you could focus more on that, since the rest is okI decided to fix the 2nd optionthough i think the first one is fine,
it's mainly a different type of flow and are the same slider. making everything symmetrical is not what i intend to do.
also the score-metre one was fixed
[myself.]
  1. 00:10:370 (7,1) - are these different on purpose? looks like you were trying to show the same style of sliders, but decided not to copypaste it for some reason 7 is expressing a vocal, and 1 is expressing..whatever that instrument is. I decided 7 should be smoother to better express the vocal ,and 1 should be more curved.
  2. 00:19:150 (3,4) - they seem to follow the same instrument, why not make them parallel? p much same concern expressed by oko,
    fixed
  3. 00:22:809 (8,1) - the overlap on its own is good, but it feels sort of out of context as this is the only one of a kind in the difficulty. this was a concern in oko's mod, fixed
;et's just work a bit more on the visuals and give it a try.
also, @oko after playing around with a few hitsounds to try and match the piano, i decided not to go through with your suggestion due to the fact that I feel that it would take away from the "mellow" type of tone from the song, and the drum samples do a good job at that.

should be good to go
riffy
The BG is way heavier than the mp3 itself. Also, the hitsound file has a slight delay.

sorry, let's fix metadata real quick

maybe also set the preview point to something that isn't looping the last 10 seconds into a fadeout in song select

while you're at it and stuff

this is not kpop, oko

Based on the tags for the map, seems like skrub took the metadata from the tyttö ep, where the song title is not capitalized https://tomppabeats.bandcamp.com/album/tytt-ep
https://tomppabeats.bandcamp.com/track/like-someone-in-love-2

So since it appears with both capitalized and uncapitalized, either are okay. But since the song appears in the Harbor lp that should probably be added in the tags
riffy

we figured that out, so that's cool. my apologies for being rather quick with popping it. but yeah, consider the stuff Oko mentioned and we'll roll the bubble back

hitsounding
00:09:638 (5) - 00:15:492 (5) - 00:21:345 (5) - etc. spots like these would be great with whistles for melody like before imo, no problem stacking whistle+clap
00:56:467 - volume decrease should start from here
01:01:589 - i'd remove hs from spinnerend cause you can't really hear the song anyways and even 5% seems to loud

rsz_by_myself_waifu2x_art_scale_tta_1 (1).jpg
http://lasse.s-ul.eu/foSA0UFT.jpg wouldve been nice to see some better playfield usage, as the map is noticeable center heavy, most of your patterns go just back there all the time :c
00:19:150 (3,4,5,6,7) - this looks so out of place with all your other patterns, the perfectly horizontal stuff and all
00:56:467 (5,6,7) - would gradually lower sv cause song is fading out

"better playfield usage than top diff" diff
seems to lack some 1/2 rhythms with top diff using so many 1/4s, but the song is kinda lol for these so I guess it's alright
00:13:297 (2) - would flip and rotate a bit more nicer visual movement for beginners
00:20:614 - 15% ds difference is quite noticeable and looks really off
00:22:077 - similar to ^ // 00:35:248 (1) - not even top diff uses ds changes to :eyes:
00:25:004 (2) - why does this have to be so unnatural movement wise, could just http://lasse.s-ul.eu/9yieuHkd.jpg

should be fine after that

00:19:150 (3,4,5,6,7) - this looks so out of place with all your other patterns, the perfectly horizontal stuff and all tilted it a little bit
00:56:467 (5,6,7) - would gradually lower sv cause song is fading out i did 0.8x

"better playfield usage than top diff" diff
seems to lack some 1/2 rhythms with top diff using so many 1/4s, but the song is kinda lol for these so I guess it's alright i didn't use as much 1/2 rhythms due to the fact that the diffs would be too similar in sr and in general
00:13:297 (2) - would flip and rotate a bit more nicer visual movement for beginners i decided to ctrl + j the slider instead because i think it flows even better than what you suggested
00:20:614 - 15% ds difference is quite noticeable and looks really off i am retarded,
00:22:077 - similar to ^ // 00:35:248 (1) - not even top diff uses ds changes to :eyes: i prolly forgot to adjust ds on a previous mod LMAO
00:25:004 (2) - why does this have to be so unnatural movement wise, could just http://lasse.s-ul.eu/9yieuHkd.jpg fixed
