Hello from my modding queue! Nice song choice~

[General]

I tested this map multiple times and checked from the editor, and found out your offset is wrong. It should be 584, 573 is way too early. Plus, i don't know if it's a ranked set's timing but 00:40:573 - this one is unnecessary, 00:42:448 - this one should be 00:45:573 - here and omitted and you need one more timing point at 00:46:198 - this, without omitting the bar line. (Please put the timing points based on the new offset, not old. Those parts are wrong too and they should be 00:45:584 and 00:46:209)

[Inner Oni]

00:37:760 (29) - This guitar sound is lower, compared to the first one. Changing it to don will be good. (I'm referring to 00:35:260 (13) - this note.)

00:55:963 (159) - Hmm, isn't this a bit inconsistent? My suggestion will be deleting this note and 00:56:041 (160) - filling this one with finisher since you used finishers on all of the crash cymbals.

Nothing else I've find about as an issue for this diff.

[Oni]

00:35:104 (10) - Kat this? Will emphasize the guitar sound + you've mapped that note kat in Inner Oni.

00:37:760 (23) - If you apply this on Inner Oni, change this one to don also.

I've found nothing else on this diff.

[Muzukashii]

00:35:104 (33) - Same suggestion mentioned in other diffs.

00:37:760 (45) - ^

[Futsuu]

00:20:573 (35) - Delete? You don't have any note here in Muzukashii, Oni and Inner Oni and there is no strong sound to put one.

01:26:198 (47) - Maybe you can shift this one 1/2 back, will create a better ending and support the keyboard sound. Like this, there is no keyboard sound.

[Kantan]

00:20:573 (19) - You can delete this one as well.

01:26:198 (27) - Delete this one and 01:25:885 (26) - shift this one 1/2 further (01:26:041 - here)

Good song, I hope my mod helped you :')

 Offset +10
 other than that is not wrong imo. 00:40:583 - redline here is necessary since the metronome is changed to 3/4 (you can hear the rhythm change), and normalized to 4/4 again at 00:42:458 - rhythm is actually stable with syncopation in the melody, no need to add and omit barline at 00:45:583 -

[Inner Oni]

00:37:760 (29) - This guitar sound is lower, compared to the first one. Changing it to don will be good. (I'm referring to 00:35:260 (13) - this note.) :arrow:hmm the fact that there is guitar sound is what makes me put k, no matter low or high : p

00:55:963 (159) - Hmm, isn't this a bit inconsistent? My suggestion will be deleting this note and 00:56:041 (160) - filling this one with finisher since you used finishers on all of the crash cymbals. i think the continuous snare worth to be mapped with longer pattern, even if i should sacrifice finisher. it's consistent if you refer to similar snare sound such as 00:10:426 -, 01:06:208 - and 01:16:051 - ,

Nothing else I've find about as an issue for this diff.

[Oni]

00:35:104 (10) - Kat this? Will emphasize the guitar sound + you've mapped that note kat in Inner Oni. fixed

00:37:760 (23) - If you apply this on Inner Oni, change this one to don also. :arrow:no cahnge

I've found nothing else on this diff.

[Muzukashii]

00:35:104 (33) - Same suggestion mentioned in other diffs. :arrow:fixed

00:37:760 (45) - ^ :arrow:no change

[Futsuu]

00:20:573 (35) - Delete? You don't have any note here in Muzukashii, Oni and Inner Oni and there is no strong sound to put one. the pattern constellation feel incomplete without the note. since simplicity is better for lower diff, it's fine to have the note for more simple rhythm

01:26:198 (47) - Maybe you can shift this one 1/2 back, will create a better ending and support the keyboard sound. Like this, there is no keyboard sound. i prefer simple rhythm

[Kantan]

00:20:573 (19) - You can delete this one as well. same as futsuu

01:26:198 (27) - Delete this one and 01:25:885 (26) - shift this one 1/2 further (01:26:041 - here) same as futsuu

Hi~ Volta :D
From my modding queue~
Sorry for a very big late. ;;w;;

[ Kantan]
00:25:583 (3,4) - Ctrl+G , in order to follow the BG music like 00:23:083 (1,2)
00:44:958 - Maybe d , to emphasize 00:45:720 pitch
01:14:020 - A triplets of finisher would be a nightmare of beginner player, how about change this note to d ?
01:26:208 - How about d ? , imo

[ Futsuu]
00:00:583 / 00:03:083 - How about change to d to emphasize the higher pitch like 00:01:520
00:39:801 - Change to d , in order to emphasize 00:39:958 pitch.
01:01:208 - Change to D , to match the note on Kantan
01:05:583 - Change to d , to match 01:04:958 and in order to emphasize 01:05:270 more

[ Muzukashii]
00:01:051 (2,5,8) - How about change to d ? , to emphasize the higher pitch like 00:01:520

[ Oni]
00:01:051 (2,5,8) - How about change to d ? , same as Muzukashii's suggestion.
00:09:958 (1,2,3,4,5) - How about ddddk ? , to emphasize 00:10:270 pitch which it's highest pitch on this pattern.
00:55:583 (123,124,125,126,127) - How about ddddk ? , I think that this will be fitter imo.
01:05:973 - Delete, I think that k in this point is placed too connected.

[ Inner Oni]
00:01:051 (2,5,8) - How about change to d ? , same as before.
00:10:036 - Maybe d , this point , pitch is lower than 00:00:958 (1,3)
01:10:036 (1,2) - Ctrl+G , how about follow the vocal here too? , like 01:10:270
01:13:864 / 01:15:114 - Maybe add d , as it's Inner Oni , maybe shouldn't ignore any vocal or any pitch for the inner. :3
01:17:614 (14,15,16,17,18,19,20) - How about kkddkdd , to emphasize the higher pitch like 01:17:614 / 01:17:926 by using k.

Hope this can help you some.
Good luck! :)

Sorry for a very big late. ;;w;;

[ Kantan]
00:25:583 (3,4) - Ctrl+G , in order to follow the BG music like 00:23:083 (1,2) that would result a d-k-d-k-d-k pattern and becomes boring imo
00:44:958 - Maybe d , to emphasize 00:45:720 pitch pitch is same with 00:45:270 - so keep as k
01:14:020 - A triplets of finisher would be a nightmare of beginner player, how about change this note to d ? i would like to keep all finisher in this part. i don't think it's too hard, and consider it as challenge for beginner for the end of kiai
01:26:208 - How about d ? , imo the song ends at high pitch so i think k is fine

[ Futsuu]
00:00:583 / 00:03:083 - How about change to d to emphasize the higher pitch like 00:01:520 prefer to keep monocolor k for the intro in all diffs
00:39:801 - Change to d , in order to emphasize 00:39:958 pitch. retained as k to make variation with 00:37:301 -
01:01:208 - Change to D , to match the note on Kantan fixed!
01:05:583 - Change to d , to match 01:04:958 and in order to emphasize 01:05:270 more k would emphasis the snare better here

[ Muzukashii]
00:01:051 (2,5,8) - How about change to d ? , to emphasize the higher pitch like 00:01:520 same as futsuu

[ Oni]
00:01:051 (2,5,8) - How about change to d ? , same as Muzukashii's suggestion. same as muzu and futsuu
00:09:958 (1,2,3,4,5) - How about ddddk ? , to emphasize 00:10:270 pitch which it's highest pitch on this pattern. snare drum sounds same so kkkkk is fine
00:55:583 (123,124,125,126,127) - How about ddddk ? , I think that this will be fitter imo. same as^ to reflect the snare
01:05:973 - Delete, I think that k in this point is placed too connected. fixed

[ Inner Oni]
00:01:051 (2,5,8) - How about change to d ? , same as before. same as before
00:10:036 - Maybe d , this point , pitch is lower than 00:00:958 (1,3) fixed
01:10:036 (1,2) - Ctrl+G , how about follow the vocal here too? , like 01:10:270 hmm no change because i think vocal at 01:10:270 (4,6) - would be more emphasized this way
01:13:864 / 01:15:114 - Maybe add d , as it's Inner Oni , maybe shouldn't ignore any vocal or any pitch for the inner. :3 no change as i want to feel the guitar only in this part.
01:17:614 (14,15,16,17,18,19,20) - How about kkddkdd , to emphasize the higher pitch like 01:17:614 / 01:17:926 by using k. it could work too but i prefer to keep consistency with 00:11:989 (19,20,21,22,23,24,25) -

Hope this can help you some.
Good luck! :)

Yahallo~~ sorry for late uwu

Kantan
  1. 00:20:270 (18) - should be d to add more enphasis to the different sound on 00:20:583 -
  2. 00:42:458 (28) - are you sure you wanna follow vocal here while you didn't do the same with other diffs? I suggest you to move such note to 00:43:083 - to follow guitar and keep consistency with higher diffs.
  3. 00:44:958 (30,31,32) - this part is too calm to have a 1/1 triplet imo, 00:45:270 (31) - might looks and sounds nicer at 00:43:708 -, furthermore it should be changed into d, it will improve the spread.
  4. 01:25:895 - same as 00:20:270 -
    Cool diff as always~~

Futsuu
  1. from 00:09:958 - to 00:20:583 - ddk feels too repetitive, I recommend you to change 00:13:708 (12,13,14) - and 00:18:708 (27,28,29) - into kdk to add variation, for 00:19:958 (32,33,34) - ddd might sounds nicer, also for consistency with my suggestion on Kantan.
  2. 00:43:239 (44,45,46) - this is my main problem once again, I suggest you to move 00:43:239 (44) - to 00:43:083 - to follow the guitar sound, also 00:43:864 (46) - should be moved to 00:44:020 -, fits intrumental better imo.
  3. 01:19:333 (24,25,26) - 01:24:333 (39,40,41) - and 01:25:583 (44,45,46) - same as the first point.
    That's all cool diff too.

Muzukashii
  1. Your ending time it's kinda controversial, that's why I wanna suggest you to unify at least Muzukashii with lower diffs, so adding k on 01:26:208 - could be a good option and it's enough.
  2. same as above should be applied on 00:20:583 - for consistency.
  3. 00:17:926 (43) - change into D for two reasons, first of all for consistency, why only Muzu and Oni are using K here?, second cause transition between 00:17:770 (42,43) - is unconfortable for newcommers imo, k D is easier to hit.
  4. if you are agree, apply the same at 01:23:551 - for consistency.
  5. 00:43:239 (63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71) - gap with futsuu is really short, almost the same, but if we talk about muzu-oni, gap is long, that's why I suggested some things on this part at lower diffs to improve the spread so, What do you think about adding d at 00:43:083 -?
  6. 00:52:301 (102) - sounds better as d, will follow vocal better
  7. 00:54:489 (112,113) - press Ctrl+G, sounds better as a mirrored pattern of 00:54:020 (110,111) - also because drum at 00:54:645 - deserve k.
  8. 01:05:583 - are you sure you don't want to follow drums as you did on 00:55:583 -? looks kinda inconsistent.
  9. 01:06:364 (25) - remove this note if you are agree with my previous point, furthermore is kinda weird that muzukashii have a note here while Oni doesn't, fix that pls
  10. 01:08:864 - same as above and I recommend you to follow another rhythm cause this part is totally different if you compare with other diffs, what do you think about this rhythm: 01:09:645 - move to 01:09:958 -, remove 01:09:801 - and move 01:09:489 - to 01:09:645 -, finally move 01:08:864 - to 01:09:333 -, if you are agree apply the same for the previous pattern to keep a better consistency.

Oni
  1. 00:17:926 (61) - sounds better as D also for consistency with other difficulties.
  2. 01:23:551 (75) - same as above.
I fall in love with this diff tbh, volta sama marry me.

Inner Oni
  1. 00:44:098 (60) - feels more natural at 00:44:254 - and much better as k.
  2. 00:46:676 (72) - feels more confortable as k at gameplay.
    Yeah, that's all.

  2. 00:42:458 (28) - are you sure you wanna follow vocal here while you didn't do the same with other diffs? I suggest you to move such note to 00:43:083 - to follow guitar and keep consistency with higher diffs. moved to 00:43:239 - instead since the guitar is more prominent and consistent with futsuu
  3. 00:44:958 (30,31,32) - this part is too calm to have a 1/1 triplet imo, 00:45:270 (31) - might looks and sounds nicer at 00:43:708 -, furthermore it should be changed into d, it will improve the spread. moved to 00:43:864 -

  1. from 00:09:958 - to 00:20:583 - ddk feels too repetitive, I recommend you to change 00:13:708 (12,13,14) - and 00:18:708 (27,28,29) - into kdk to add variation, for 00:19:958 (32,33,34) - ddd might sounds nicer, also for consistency with my suggestion on Kantan. changed 00:19:958 (32,33,34) to ddd, but i think repetitive ddk fits better with the drum, so no change there.
  2. 00:43:239 (44,45,46) - this is my main problem once again, I suggest you to move 00:43:239 (44) - to 00:43:083 - to follow the guitar sound comparing 00:43:239 and 43:083, the first one sounds more prominent imo so i'd like to keep it.
also 00:43:864 (46) - should be moved to 00:44:020 -, fits intrumental better imo. keep to group together with previous guitar notes.
  3. 01:19:333 (24,25,26) - 01:24:333 (39,40,41) - and 01:25:583 (44,45,46) - same as the first point. fixed the third one
    That's all cool diff too.

Muzukashii
  1. Your ending time it's kinda controversial, that's why I wanna suggest you to unify at least Muzukashii with lower diffs, so adding k on 01:26:208 - could be a good option and it's enough. it's because they end in blue line ;w; but i think this way is better to reflect the guitar for a Muzukashii rather than putting note in common rhythm like the lower diffs
  2. same as above should be applied on 00:20:583 - for consistency. same as ^
  3. 00:17:926 (43) - change into D for two reasons, first of all for consistency, why only Muzu and Oni are using K here?, second cause transition between 00:17:770 (42,43) - is unconfortable for newcommers imo, k D is easier to hit. fixed

  6. 00:52:301 (102) - sounds better as d, will follow vocal better keep for consistency with 01:02:301 - both are almost same and end with k
  7. 00:54:489 (112,113) - press Ctrl+G, sounds better as a mirrored pattern of 00:54:020 (110,111) - also because drum at 00:54:645 - deserve k.
    nice~ fixed
  8. 01:05:583 - are you sure you don't want to follow drums as you did on 00:55:583 -? looks kinda inconsistent. no, that's why i put a bookmark lol. added notes for drum and create break at 01:13:395 - instead
  9. 01:06:364 (25) - remove this note if you are agree with my previous point, furthermore is kinda weird that muzukashii have a note here while Oni doesn't, fix that pls fixed

    fixed all~

Oni
  1. 00:17:926 (61) - sounds better as D also for consistency with other difficulties.

  2. 00:46:676 (72) - feels more confortable as k at gameplay. hmm both are nice but i think it's better to be consistent with 00:56:676 (163,164,165) -

Talked with Monstrata about the timing and corrected that there is no 3/4 change as I stated on my first mod which you've rejected. So, here is what the timing should look like:

Also, after you change these, remember to omit the barline at 00:45:583 - this point too. These changes will fix the timing problem.
posted
I still believe the signature is 3/4 as the ranked mania set did it too: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/144589
Will gather some more opinion after sleep
posted
How did that get ranked lmao. Then again no one checks mania anyways. But yea, its just 4/4 all the way with a metronome reset at the kiai. 3/4 waltz is wrong, thats a really standard drum rhythm you can hear in many rock songs. it doesn't mean we suddenlt start adding random 3/4 time signatures there just so the drum rhythm begins on a downbeat.
posted

At 0:40 it's clear that it's 3/4. It's not random.
I can't believe i actually searched for the music score. If you're still not convinced i will still gather more opinion.
posted
This is a 3/4, which can be justified by listening to the structure of drum set layer:

! 00:41:051 - / 00:41:989 - same hold cymbal crashes here and there, this sound indicates that the two phrases should be identical, according to general rock music drum set patterns.

> 00:40:583 - / 00:41:520 - the extra sfz of drum hits indicate something (a time signature change/ special emphases, depending on the melody). In this case, the drum set is the solo, and it dominates the whole rhythm. The repeated phrase state the words afore-head quite clearly imo, not sure if you can hear that as well.

> 00:40:583 - / 00:41:520 - / 00:42:458 - In Soli, the on-set of each layer is thought to be consistent, that'd be reflected in barlines in game-play.

With the support of musical score, there's no longer a timing issue.
posted
Here is a video of how the timing points should look like. (The first one is omit and the 2nd one is the actual reset.)

You can see that after the 3/4 synchopation (as you say) the guitar doesn't land on the actual measure start, but when it's solid 4/4 you can see that the guitar fits with the measure start, so I think the 3/4 point is excessive there. Apologies for not putting a youtube video, since it might get removed due to copyright issues. (apparently the audio-video is out of sync aswell, sorry about that too but you can hear the beats I guess)
posted
just saying, but if you're gonna rely on unofficial sheet music from an amateur to try to support your argument chances are you won't get very far.

there is nothing in the music's phrasing that would suggest a 3/4 time signature change there. as for the mania map, that is definitely wrong so i have to agree with monstrata on how it got ranked in the first place..
