How to get use to a tablet from mouse

so ive been playing osu for about 2 weeks (after a 1 year break) and in that time ive been using a mouse but felt myself having a saw wrist after every day i play, today i then baught a wacom intuos draw small and after playing for about 10 minutes im struggling to figure out how to play, ive tried hovering but found that that is not for me and feel alot more comfortable dragging but im just wondering you guy guys / girls have any tips on how to adapt to the tablet / how to use it xd
