First of all, you'll need an Easy that is 3 stars or below. You'll also need to crop the mp3; you have a minute of song that you don't map, so you'll need to cut it out to be efficient.

Hard:

Up until the first chorus, the map follows no distinct rhythm present in the music, which feels weird. Let me explain:

00:26:512 (1,2,3,4,5) - The (3) in this combo does not go to anything in the music. This combo also does not go with the main rhythm present in the music. However, if you delete (3) and move (5) back by 1/4, you suddenly match up with the music and have a fun, unique rhythm.

00:38:990 (3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - This is another instance of nonsense. However, in this case, moving the second (3) back by 1/4 will fix it.

The map after the first chorus is fine; it's just until then that needs work.

Normal:

Make the circles bigger. They're too small for a modern Normal, sorry. :/

The rhythm's fine, but the spacing and hitsounds are a bit wonky at times... for both maps, in fact. Give me a forum PM after you've changed some things, and I'll go through this map with a fine comb.

Your difficulties have different offsets. Please use only one (the best) for all diffs.
If possible start and end the different maps on the same notes. It is not a "must have" but it makes for a much better overall mapset imo.

As mentioned before: Resnap all notes!
Please use one (1!) fixed distance for distance snapping the notes in a "normal" diff. The SV you used will go best with fixed 1.1x spacing. If you want to make it look better and have less trouble with ugly gaps, disable grid-snapping and hold [ctrl] to snap notes every 45° if you need to. Otherwise just place the notes without gridsnap and use your EYES and YOUR MOUSE/TABLET to place the objects...

[Hard]
Sorry this looks really unfinished to me. For Hard maps I suggest using 1,0x spacing at "fitting but higher than normal" SV. Use one or two higher spacings (1,5x and 2,0x give good results) for jumps only...make sure the jumps actually FIT THE SONG. Avoid random chaos spacing at all cost. Random spacing is not "hard" but stupid and embarrassing because it will look like you can't use the editor properly.

Basic things to consider:
- use a SV that will look good with your circle size @1,0x spacing and will have enough overlapping for 1/4 streams to make them readable (or you can just compress those streams @0,8 or 0,6 if everything else fails)
- don't just stacked notes everywhere...it is lazy and you can do much better
- you used a good and fitting hitsound pattern with your custom hitsound so PLEASE map all the necessary upbeats properly (like I pointed out in normal)
- if you use SV modifiers please make sure they fit and the speed change is not too sharp
- use spinners only where they fit, 01:25:690 (1) does not fit
- try to map what you hear..something like 02:02:592 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5) does sound off; use 50% or even 25% speed and listen carefully, this way you will find matching beatpatterns much easier.



Still some work to do but some of the basics are already looking good. Don't give up and this can be a great mapset in the end!

  1. You must cut your mp3 if you're using less than 80% of it. This doesn't count intro time, and thus only applies if more than 20% of the outro is unmapped. If you only plan to map a portion of your song, then including the full mp3 is a waste of file space. Many mp3 editing tools like this exist which make fading and cutting a song simple. However, if you have a legitimate reason for keeping your full mp3 (e.g. a storyboard after the map ends), then that is fine.You have to cut your mp3 if possible.
