Nothing General are fine

[Futsuu]
00:00:456 (1) -D high sound Ok!
00:07:313 (14) - k to follow vocal Ok!
00:14:170 (31) - D high sound Ok!
00:20:598 (46,47) - ctrl+g if you wanna follow vocal and (if you fix in 00:07:313 (14) -) I don't really think it fits very well considering I'm following the squeaks.
00:27:884 (63) - D high sound Ok!
00:41:170 (94) - k (remove finish) and add finish in 00:41:598 (95) - Whoops, this one was my fault, good catch.
Ok!

00:49:741 (113) - d I don't really think it sounds that well here. Same as the 2 other ones, to keep consistency.
00:51:456 (116) - ^
00:53:170 (119) - ^ (if you fix 00:49:741 (113) - and 00:51:456 (116) -)
00:54:884 (123) - k Ok!

[Muzukashii]
00:00:456 (1) - D same as futsuu Ok for the 3 of these!
00:07:313 (14) - k ^
00:14:170 (31) - D ^
00:20:598 (56,57) - ctrl+g ^ Same reasoning as Futsuu.
00:26:170 (74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87) - well.. this part is problem too hard in muzu and newbie you can try this (it still hard but better than previous pattern) Looks good and sounds good. Also, added a finish at 00:27:884 (84).
00:29:384 (91) - k to follow vocals Ok to these 3!
00:31:098 (96) - ^ (and you can add k in 00:31:206 - too)

00:44:598 (141) - move to 00:44:491 - and change 00:44:813 (142) - to k I had to stop for a while to think about this one, turns out I liked this better even though it drifts away a bit from the original purpose of that pattern.
00:46:741 (149,150,151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159,160) - four triple is too hard... lol try this Ok!
00:49:741 (165) - k Instead, I ctrl+g'd all of these 4.
00:50:491 (168,169) - ctrl+g
00:52:206 (174,175) - ^
00:54:563 (183,184) - ^
00:54:777 (185) - delete Ok!
00:55:098 (187) - remove finish no need in this part Ok!
muzu is really problem...... only triple are allow.... I'm pretty new to mapping Taiko, so I wasn't aware. Thanks!

00:30:456 (101) - k
00:30:777 - add k here I'd like to have another opinion on this as I don't really see how this would fit, honestly.
00:30:884 (103) - move to 00:30:991 - ^
00:31:313 (105) - k Ok!
00:38:170 (132,133,134,135,136,137,138,139,140,141,142,143,144,145,146,147,148) - i don't think 1/4 is better.... try this Agreed, it looks much better.

Hey I'm pushin a saradisk set as well (not a plug or anything haha)

- SK's Inner Oni -
Just change kiai to match every other diff by starting at 00:41:598 -

00:43:527 - This is the only time where you use kdk instead of kkd or a different rhythmic pattern like kd_dk, either change the rest of them to alternate using kdk/kkd or just change this to kkd

- Oni -
00:28:313 (94) - This is a higher pitch and the same drums as the k before, so why is it d? Apply this to the rest of them, I understand flow between k's and d's but I think there's another way to stick to mapping these pitches while not just mapping k d k d k d k d k

00:30:884 (105) - moving this to 00:30:991 - here sounds better with the song

00:31:206 - heck maybe even put a d here, feels good

With the whole section leading up to the kiai there isn't a real repeated pattern or recurring rhythm mapped, but the song stays the same almost the entire time. I would map this in the form of "A B A C A B A D" for both the section leading to the kiai and the kiai itself. Section A repeating, interluded by the consecutive sections B/C/D, so that there's a familiar pattern with an unfamiliar twist after every repetition. Right now it's more like "A B C D E F G H" cause nothing is repeated. I mean repeated not just rhythmically but even the same notes, since the song repeats the exact same phrase over and over.

These svs are pretty bad. I recommend doing what SK did in his Inner Oni and having a smooth transition into 00:27:884 - with 4 points at 1/4 spacing with 0.2 intervals going to 1.1x at the time I highlighted. The you can make the direct cut to 1.2x at the kiai.

00:41:384 (153) - Remove this note if you're going to keep in that direct cut to the 1.2/1.25 sv since it just clutters that area. It would also give better emphasis to the first note of the kiai.

That's all I'm gonna do for this song, good luck ^^

Right now it's more like "A B C D E F G H" cause nothing is repeated. I mean repeated not just rhythmically but even the same notes, since the song repeats the exact same phrase over and over. My intent here was to avoid repeating too much so that there could be room for more variations later on, as I didn't want the map to be too repetitive although the song stays the same. I can change that, however I want another opinion on this before I do anything.

These svs are pretty bad. I recommend doing what SK did in his Inner Oni and having a smooth transition into 00:27:884 - with 4 points at 1/4 spacing with 0.2 intervals going to 1.1x at the time I highlighted. 00:41:384 (153) - Remove this note if you're going to keep in that direct cut to the 1.2/1.25 sv since it just clutters that area. It would also give better emphasis to the first note of the kiai. Done.

Heey, there's my mod as requested ^^ hope this can help you!

[General]
  1. I love the BG but are you sure it's currently rankable? Dimensions are kinda strange since I've seen lot of 1920x1200 and it's currently 1697x1199 (so talking about proportion, is strange :p)
  2. Add 'Skull Kid' to tags since he made GD
  3. Why not using 00:41:598 - as preview point? It's way same as you're currently using but slightly more high :d
  4. Current OD and HP's through the diff's are abekobe. I suggest you for example (will write them in order):
    1. Futsuu: 4, 7/8
    2. Muzu: 5, 5
    3. Oni: Not using the same as Inner so 5, 6 could be fine
  5. Also I think current mapset isn't rankable currently: http://puu.sh/wBWz0/cd183d6fd7.png. The lowest difficulty must be below 2.0 stars. (From Ranking Criteria)
  6. 00:27:884 - what about adding a little volume increase? Really sligh so from 85% -> 90% could be enough :3
  7. 00:00:456 - delete this greenline and change volume to redline :d
[Futsuu]
  1. Well overall diff is currently nice, but even it's low bpm (140) and you're using 1/2 notes (doubles specially) I think you should let some 2/1 breaks. An idea you can give a try is for example notes like: 00:12:884 (27) - , 00:26:598 (60) - Idk :D
  2. Also I think you could use some variations on doubles before Kiai instead making it full of dk's (kk could be fine since k is more accurate than don imo)
[Muzukashii]
  1. Avoid using dkd/kdk patterns. Try to stuck at ddd or kkk since they're most acceptable on muzu diff (as I said even it's 140bpm)
  2. Well it depends most of you, but you could add some big notes on section beggining. I got you're only mapping them when they're really neccesary but if you add they could create a good difference between the pitches on first note than next ones
  3. 00:20:491 - adding a k here could be fine considering it's Muzu
  4. 00:27:456 (82,83) - if you're currently following vocals both should be kat, otherwise you should make them don since they have way the same pitch. Even a ctrl+g here could be fine
  5. 00:31:313 (94) - don since it's descendant melody
  6. 00:38:170 (113) - ^
  7. You should have a consistency through the whole Kiai. Current one is really different on first half than second half even it's way similar
[Oni]
  1. 00:05:600 (17) - unsnapped note!
  2. I think you could add somenotes and not neccesarily making it harder, it's way so similar to Muzu on someparts; specially before 00:26:170 -
  3. 00:26:170 - ^also from here it completely starts being so hard compared to first part so... you could make it a little more equal (you can notice it on diff difference SR)
  4. Same problem about consistency on Kiai tho
[SK's Inner Oni]
  1. You should try to use same volumes as other diffs :d
  2. 00:13:741 (59,60,61,62) - I think these should be kdkd currently according to pitches, so next note could depend on you (depends on which pitch you pref to start)
  3. 00:26:170 (149) - I think this one should deserve a kat so using dkkk ddkk or dddk depends totally on you (According to ascendant melody)
  4. Didn't notice you're using different Kiai than other diffs too D:
  5. Overall diff is currently nice, I just feel some patterns can be better structured, for example by following vocals with kat on 00:46:741 (303,307,311,315) - . I don't know :D
I hope this can be really helpful for you, best of lucks boy! :D

  2. Add 'Skull Kid' to tags since he made GD Sure.
  3. Why not using 00:41:598 - as preview point? It's way same as you're currently using but slightly more high :d Eh, I like this one better tbh. xP

    1. Futsuu: 4, 7/8 Sure for all.
    2. Muzu: 5, 5

  5. Also I think current mapset isn't rankable currently: http://puu.sh/wBWz0/cd183d6fd7.png. The lowest difficulty must be below 2.0 stars. (From Ranking Criteria) Well I've seen some taiko sets get ranked with their lowest diff as 2.04*, so I don't think this should be a problem - especially since it's 2.01* after changing it over.
  6. 00:27:884 - what about adding a little volume increase? Really sligh so from 85% -> 90% could be enough :3 Changed mine to match Skull Kid's diff's.
  7. 00:00:456 - delete this greenline and change volume to redline :d Sure.
[Futsuu]
  1. Well overall diff is currently nice, but even it's low bpm (140) and you're using 1/2 notes (doubles specially) I think you should let some 2/1 breaks. An idea you can give a try is for example notes like: 00:12:884 (27) - , 00:26:598 (60) - Idk :D I changed quite a lot of them, and changed some patterns from kdk to ddk
  2. Also I think you could use some variations on doubles before Kiai instead making it full of dk's (kk could be fine since k is more accurate than don imo)Since I changed/removed a lot of doubles, I most likely fixed this.
[Muzukashii]
  1. Avoid using dkd/kdk patterns. Try to stuck at ddd or kkk since they're most acceptable on muzu diff (as I said even it's 140bpm) Sure,
except on one or two certain patterns which have a different pitch.
  2. Well it depends most of you, but you could add some big notes on section beggining. I got you're only mapping them when they're really neccesary but if you add they could create a good difference between the pitches on first note than next ones Nah, there really isn't much of a need since there are no sounds strong enough to grant the use of a finish, and there isn't that big of difference between such pitches.
  3. 00:20:491 - adding a k here could be fine considering it's Muzu Eh.. Doesn't really fit, otherwise I'd have to put a triple. I'm following the squeaks here.
  4. 00:27:456 (82,83) - if you're currently following vocals both should be kat, otherwise you should make them don since they have way the same pitch. Even a ctrl+g here could be fine Added a k.
  5. 00:31:313 (94) - don since it's descendant melody Following the vocals here, not the melody.
  6. 00:38:170 (113) - ^ I want to keep consistency with the other doubles.
  7. You should have a consistency through the whole Kiai. Current one is really different on first half than second half even it's way similar Kinda changed it? I'm mostly following the vocals through the whole kiai, and there really aren't any major changes.
[Oni]
  1. 00:05:600 (17) - unsnapped note! Whoops! Good catch!
  2. I think you could add somenotes and not neccesarily making it harder, it's way so similar to Muzu on someparts; specially before 00:26:170 - Added stuff. Hopefully didn't completely destroy the spread, haha.
  3. 00:26:170 - ^also from here it completely starts being so hard compared to first part so... you could make it a little more equal (you can notice it on diff difference SR) Honestly, there isn't quite much I can do here because it's in this second calm part that there is a triple spam along with some pentas. I did change the triples before to quads though and added doubles.
  4. Same problem about consistency on Kiai tho Was just waiting on another opinion for this. Fixed.
I hope this can be really helpful for you, best of lucks boy! :D Thanks, best of luck with your maps aswell!

  1. create a kantan?
  2. flip the bg horizontally if you want to see the girl's face on the menu
[futsuu]
ok, seems repetitive but it works :v
[Muzukashii]
  1. from here forward, you have no 2/1 breaks, making the patterns seem continuous and difficult. Please include one or so 2/1 breaks after this point to avoid having continuous patterns
  2. 00:29:063 (87) - I think this is an ascending pitch, please switch to k if possible
  3. 00:32:491 (97) - ^, same, imo having these as a d makes them too similar to the pattern 00:30:455 (91,92,93,94) - here, where it's descending
    if you agree keep fixing it 00:39:348 (116) - / 00:42:777 (128) - / 00:46:206 (140) - /
  4. 00:46:741 (142,143,144,145,146,147,148,149,150,151,152,153) - this is muzukashii, please don't use 4 triplets in a row even if they're the same color, especially if you used a much easier pattern over here 00:33:027 (99,100,101,102) -
    Please change to ddd d d ddd d d or d d ddd d d ddd
  5. 00:55:098 - consider removing this, it's unnecessary because there's just a trigger there
[Oni]
  1. 00:20:598 - imo this follows the instruments better because there's nothing 00:20:598 - here but there is something 00:20:920 - here, and it's consistent with your previous patterns
  2. 00:26:813 (109) - switch to k to keep consistent, same for 00:27:027 (110,111,112,113) - these?
[Skull Kid]
  1. 00:03:563 (17,18,19,20) - This seems like it should be dkdk based on the patterns you follow, but I can see why kkdk works because of the back/forth patterns...
  2. 00:13:741 (59,60,61,62) - similar, I think what you're following would call for kdkd
  3. 00:17:277 (84,85,86,87) - dkdk because it marks the k as the loud kicks consistently, and it's not blocking any back/forth patterns here
  4. 00:24:134 (133,134,135,136) - same here if you agree
  5. 00:26:063 (148,149,150) - this streams shifts its focus right around 00:26:063 (148,149,150) - here. It follows the melodic drums for 00:25:848 (146,147,148,149) - here, but then it continues, probably because of the click drums. Consider separating the stream so that both the kicky drums and the click drums have their own stream.
  6. 00:33:027 - / 00:34:313 - this is problematic because this section is significantly easier than the same section in Oni, even with the finishers. Consider swapping the rhythms, or nerfing the Oni in this section.
  7. 00:37:848 - / 00:41:170 - this is quite a difficulty spike from Oni. Also, the streams changes its focus 00:38:170 - here and 00:39:884 - here. Please nerf this, and possibly buff the oni section here.
  8. 00:46:420 - / 00:48:456 - again, a big spike from Oni, but also a spike from the previous occurrence of this pattern.
  9. 00:51:563 - same as 00:37:848 - there
best of luck o7

  1. from here forward, you have no 2/1 breaks, making the patterns seem continuous and difficult. Please include one or so 2/1 breaks after this point to avoid having continuous patterns It's a short low BPM song which really doesn't allow for any 2/1 breaks in it, mostly 1/1s. I'll see what I can do.
  2. 00:29:063 (87) - I think this is an ascending pitch, please switch to k if possible Yup, you're right, changed.

I wanted to originally keep it, but since it's such a minor change then why not. Applied on Muzu and on Oni.
[Oni]
  1. 00:20:598 - imo this follows the instruments better because there's nothing 00:20:598 - here but there is something 00:20:920 - here, and it's consistent with your previous patterns In this pattern my goal was to primarily follow the squeaks, and your change follows only the instruments instead of the squeaks, so I won't be changing it.
  2. 00:26:813 (109) - switch to k to keep consistent, same for 00:27:027 (110,111,112,113) - these? I switched the previous penta to follow the pitch better instead.

[Marm's Kantan]
  1. 00:12:027 (13) - this is incinsistent with the reasoning you've been following, please remove it
  2. 00:18:456 (20) - ^ again please
  3. 00:24:456 (5,6,7,8) - 4 1/1 objects seems to be a little much for here
  4. 00:28:313 - / 00:38:170 - what are you following in this section? It doesn't match well to either the melody, as represented better in the section afterward, or the deep bass noise, as represented in the section before
  5. 00:48:884 - / 00:53:598 - your kiai section is unbalanced, the second half is more dense than your first half, which consists of almost entirely 2/1 patterns
  6. I understand that you're placing more notes to emphasize sections, which is a great strategy in higher diffs
however, in a kantan you should place 2/1 ~ 4/1 breaks after the notes you want to emphasize, then you will have a Kantan that aligns with the Futsuu's difficulty
you're not doing bad though, keep trying and you'll get it quick
I hope I helped

It doesn't match well to either the melody, as represented better in the section afterward, or the deep bass noise, as represented in the section before moved the slider before this part 1/1 backwards and began following the melody like the following part.
  5. 00:48:884 - / 00:53:598 - your kiai section is unbalanced, the second half is more dense than your first half, which consists of almost entirely 2/1 patterns ok, kind of mirrored the kiai sections doing a 2/1 to 1/1 transition on both. Also deleted the 1/2 but kept 4 1/1 since it's kiai and has higher intensity
  6. I understand that you're placing more notes to emphasize sections, which is a great strategy in higher diffs

SR is now 1.14, idk if that's a problem for the spread.

Hi, I am here to pop the bubble due to the issues below mainly:

[General]

! SV changes in Kantan and Futsuu can cause discomfort in reading the maps for those levels players. They are strongly discouraged to use unless there're sufficient reasons. I do not think this map worths any SV changes anyway.

[Marm's Kantan]

> 00:05:598 - compare with 00:07:313 - , the latter is worthy for a Finisher much more due to the presence of snare. Finishers can make the simple patterns less boring (1 key v.s. 2 keys hit).

> 00:14:170 - / 00:21:027 - Finisher as well if you adopt the change at 00:07:313 -

! 00:16:313 (17) - This note outstands from the overall balanced patterns. Expectedly it should be at 00:15:884 - . Kantan should have a very consistent pattern with easy snapping so players can play as they expect in a simple and easy way.

> 00:18:884 - same case as above

! 00:35:170 (19,20,21,22) - a very awkward 4 x 1/1 offbeat patterns used which is basically unnecessary. Just shifting all of them 1/1 backwards to fit the on-beats is fine.

[Futsuu]

! Patterns are too repetitive. Even in Futsuu, a simple variation aside from d d k could be done, such as d k k / k d k / k k k / d ddk / d kdk etc..

> 00:21:027 (35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43) - they could be 3 d k k or k d k due to the over all high pitch vocal comparing to 00:14:170 - . Simple variation can already enhance the overall playability by flavouring it.

> 00:29:598 (51) - for example, it can be k due to the high-pitch sound at the backgound music. Same could be applied at 00:33:027 -

> Fix the whole diff. by yourselves when you have come up to some idea

[Oni]

! Basically the same case of Futsuu, in Oni, such kind of few variations and a lot of copy and paste work is not really accepted. A lot of repeated k k k dk dk / k k k dk dkkk are used without any single variations. This should be enhanced.

> 00:27:884 - As a very strong start of new section, it is worthy for being an isolated Finisher to indicate the presence of snare and a clear put between two sections. The linked stream is pretty too long for Oni as well (when there's an Inner Oni).

> 00:33:991 - / 00:47:920 - it can be moved to 00:34:206 - to create a different feeling, while matching to the density of vocal part at 00:34:206 -

> 00:54:884 - the Finisher should be put at 00:55:313 - . nnnnN looks and plays weirdly, while 00:55:313 - is a strong finishing note.

> 00:43:313 - / 00:45:027 - / 00:50:170 - / 00:51:884 - there is no way to empty the dominant metronome esp.ly when there are melodies. Please fill them up and create some rests in other places instead of them.

Perhaps Muzukashii faces the same situation, please check all difficulties again by yourself.

! SV changes in Kantan and Futsuu can cause discomfort in reading the maps for those levels players. They are strongly discouraged to use unless there're sufficient reasons. I do not think this map worths any SV changes anyway. The SV changes were used as a buildup to the kiai,
which is the most intense part of the song and deserves some reinforcement, done via the slightly higher sv. The transition is very smooth so that new players won't have much difficulty reading the svs, and why I also think that they should be kept.

[Futsuu]

! Patterns are too repetitive. Even in Futsuu, a simple variation aside from d d k could be done, such as d k k / k d k / k k k / d ddk / d kdk etc.. Tried something to make the patterns somewhat less repetitive on certain spots.

> 00:21:027 (35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43) - they could be 3 d k k or k d k due to the over all high pitch vocal comparing to 00:14:170 - . Simple variation can already enhance the overall playability by flavouring it. Agreed, changed.

> 00:29:598 (51) - for example, it can be k due to the high-pitch sound at the backgound music. Same could be applied at 00:33:027 - Yup.

> Fix the whole diff. by yourselves when you have come up to some idea I did some remapping. Still somewhat repetitive, but that's the song's nature itself, however I allowed space for more variations.

[Oni]

! Basically the same case of Futsuu, in Oni, such kind of few variations and a lot of copy and paste work is not really accepted. A lot of repeated k k k dk dk / k k k dk dkkk are used without any single variations. This should be enhanced. Made a few changes here and there.

> 00:27:884 - As a very strong start of new section, it is worthy for being an isolated Finisher to indicate the presence of snare and a clear put between two sections. The linked stream is pretty too long for Oni as well (when there's an Inner Oni). Split to ddd kdkdk.

> 00:33:991 - / 00:47:920 - it can be moved to 00:34:206 - to create a different feeling, while matching to the density of vocal part at 00:34:206 - Done for both sections.

> 00:54:884 - the Finisher should be put at 00:55:313 - . nnnnN looks and plays weirdly, while 00:55:313 - is a strong finishing note. That was actually an accident, the finisher was meant to be at the latter. Whoops.

> 00:43:313 - / 00:45:027 - / 00:50:170 - / 00:51:884 - there is no way to empty the dominant metronome esp.ly when there are melodies. Please fill them up and create some rests in other places instead of them. Done.

Perhaps Muzukashii faces the same situation, please check all difficulties again by yourself. The deal about Muzukashii is that since I mostly tried to follow the vocals, there really isn't much room for variation on the patterns. I'm trying to change things up by following the background a bit more, but this could go either very right or very wrong, oh man.
Tried more general changes, let's hope this goes right. I was planning on getting this popped anyways. Thanks, Skylish!

On a side note, I still need Skull Kid to apply his mods.

Yes, the SV changes look smooth naturally, but they are not supposed to be applied in easy difficulties (namely Kantan and Futsuu) since players are not expected to face any velocity changes. A regular and constant scrolling speed is the optimum setting for them.

Please remove them in easy difficulties, as a result.
