Just change kiai to match every other diff by starting at 00:41:598 -

00:43:527 - This is the only time where you use kdk instead of kkd or a different rhythmic pattern like kd_dk, either change the rest of them to alternate using kdk/kkd or just change this to kkd

00:28:313 (94) - This is a higher pitch and the same drums as the k before, so why is it d? Apply this to the rest of them, I understand flow between k's and d's but I think there's another way to stick to mapping these pitches while not just mapping k d k d k d k d k

00:30:884 (105) - moving this to 00:30:991 - here sounds better with the song

00:31:206 - heck maybe even put a d here, feels good

With the whole section leading up to the kiai there isn't a real repeated pattern or recurring rhythm mapped, but the song stays the same almost the entire time. I would map this in the form of "A B A C A B A D" for both the section leading to the kiai and the kiai itself. Section A repeating, interluded by the consecutive sections B/C/D, so that there's a familiar pattern with an unfamiliar twist after every repetition. Right now it's more like "A B C D E F G H" cause nothing is repeated. I mean repeated not just rhythmically but even the same notes, since the song repeats the exact same phrase over and over.

These svs are pretty bad. I recommend doing what SK did in his Inner Oni and having a smooth transition into 00:27:884 - with 4 points at 1/4 spacing with 0.2 intervals going to 1.1x at the time I highlighted. The you can make the direct cut to 1.2x at the kiai.

00:41:384 (153) - Remove this note if you're going to keep in that direct cut to the 1.2/1.25 sv since it just clutters that area. It would also give better emphasis to the first note of the kiai.

  1. I love the BG but are you sure it's currently rankable? Dimensions are kinda strange since I've seen lot of 1920x1200 and it's currently 1697x1199 (so talking about proportion, is strange :p)
  2. Add 'Skull Kid' to tags since he made GD
  3. Why not using 00:41:598 - as preview point? It's way same as you're currently using but slightly more high :d
  4. Current OD and HP's through the diff's are abekobe. I suggest you for example (will write them in order):
    1. Futsuu: 4, 7/8
    2. Muzu: 5, 5
    3. Oni: Not using the same as Inner so 5, 6 could be fine
  5. Also I think current mapset isn't rankable currently: http://puu.sh/wBWz0/cd183d6fd7.png. The lowest difficulty must be below 2.0 stars. (From Ranking Criteria)

  4. Didn't notice you're using different Kiai than other diffs too D:
  5. Overall diff is currently nice, I just feel some patterns can be better structured, for example by following vocals with kat on 00:46:741 (303,307,311,315) - . I don't know :D

  5. 00:26:063 (148,149,150) - this streams shifts its focus right around 00:26:063 (148,149,150) - here. It follows the melodic drums for 00:25:848 (146,147,148,149) - here, but then it continues, probably because of the click drums. Consider separating the stream so that both the kicky drums and the click drums have their own stream.
  6. 00:33:027 - / 00:34:313 - this is problematic because this section is significantly easier than the same section in Oni, even with the finishers. Consider swapping the rhythms, or nerfing the Oni in this section.
  7. 00:37:848 - / 00:41:170 - this is quite a difficulty spike from Oni. Also, the streams changes its focus 00:38:170 - here and 00:39:884 - here. Please nerf this, and possibly buff the oni section here.
  8. 00:46:420 - / 00:48:456 - again, a big spike from Oni, but also a spike from the previous occurrence of this pattern.

which is the most intense part of the song and deserves some reinforcement, done via the slightly higher sv. The transition is very smooth so that new players won't have much difficulty reading the svs, and why I also think that they should be kept.

The deal about Muzukashii is that since I mostly tried to follow the vocals, there really isn't much room for variation on the patterns. I'm trying to change things up by following the background a bit more, but this could go either very right or very wrong, oh man.

Yes, the SV changes look smooth naturally, but they are not supposed to be applied in easy difficulties (namely Kantan and Futsuu) since players are not expected to face any velocity changes. A regular and constant scrolling speed is the optimum setting for them.

Please remove them in easy difficulties, as a result.

  2. 00:15:027 (16,17,18,19,20) - why do you just change the rhythm that you used before to something a lot different? The song is the same so use the rhythm like this 00:07:313 (7,8,9,10,11,12) - there's no real reason to be inconsistent
  3. 00:18:884 (20) - maybe best to just delete this and just have the spinner, since you dont really use circles on this beat in this section.
  4. i think for the intro you are trying to represent the same rhythm in too many different ways, and well it would make sense if you switched depending on the kind of music like the high pitch, but this current way doesnt work well
  5. 00:35:170 (19,20,21) - why use the same patterns as before but just off beat?

  3. 00:30:455 (93,94,95,96,97) - this seems like really boring 1/2 spam, you should really map the 3/4 beat rhythm here like you do in other parts of the map, basically goes for any long string of 1/2 beat you have in the end of this, could be made a lot more interesting by adding some other rhythm cos it seems mapped to nothing in particular. (00:46:741 (149,150,151,152,153,154,155,156,157) - apart from this one)

  2. 00:20:170 (77,78,79,80,81,82) - https://puu.sh/zyeCh/6df893a1d1.png rhythm suggestion to better emphasise the claps, not that you need to map the squeak noise as it isnt doing anything rhythmic emphasis in the current 1/4 pattern.
  3. 00:30:670 (130,131,132,133,134,135) - kkd ddk could work better
  4. 00:34:098 (149,150,151,152,153) - kkddk to have some better fitting variation?
  5. 00:38:384 (170) - the timing point here is at 00:38:386 meaning that this object is unaffected by it, you should snap the timing point
spork diff fine i guess even tho it looks like it was made in 30 min with copy paste abuse missing out on a lot of opportunity, i think it would go a long way to just add some variation to match the song, even tho the song is that way this map seems too repetitive.

I'm the type of guy that prefers sections that are the same/very similar mapping wise, when a song presents you with mostly similar sections. I rarely agree with concepts in maps that use completely different rhythms and color changes when the sounds are the same, 'cause to me it doesn't make the pattern/concept you use recognizable enough for that specific part c:
