drag and drop. Sometimes you may have to restart osu or press f5. If that doesn't work, open the songs folder and put the mp3 in its own folder.

Once they are downloaded either double click them (if you are using firefox) or drag them into the osu window (if you are using IE) and you should be able to play them.
