Lower diffs looks good for me, kantan with a lot 4/1 break I guess yeah since the overall is not basic pattern and Futsuu 2/1 break ( gw malah gagal paham 2/1 break itu gimana, BNgen-toad gw pat U": ). spinner applied for lower diffs and muzukashii applied Slider.

Halo~! Dellvangel~ >< sorry for too late.. busy irl these days... QwQ
I hope my modding is helpful to you before Surono's bubble. :3
My modding is include personal feeling & suggestion.
Please feel free to ignore, If my modding affect your mapping style.

d = don
D = big don
k = kat
K = big kat

  • [Kantan]
  1. 01:05:324 (57) - change to k~? (follow drum & make consistency with other diffs. and this is reverse with next dkd. :3)
  2. 01:13:605 (72, 73) - maybe we can add finisher these two notes. like Muzu & Oni.(I think this uninterrupted finisher is more play to easy for beginners.)

  • [Futsuu]
  1. 01:04:230 - just suggestion. K is fit imo.(vocal is burst.) If you accept, please change this in all diff.(muzu & oni.)
  2. 01:12:980 (123, 124, 125, 126) - same suggestion. add finisher these.

  • [Muzukashii]
  1. 00:11:418 (37) - how about change to k~?(I think k is more fit to eletronic sound. and it's more blanced with next kkdkd pattern.)
  2. 00:13:918 and 01:15:168 and 01:17:668 - same with above. we can change this k too. :3
  3. 00:10:793 ~ 00:13:918 - I think this same structure so many used. all this accompaniment used this same thing lol.
    maybe we can make a diversity by changing in 00:15:793 ~ 00:18:918 and 01:19:543 ~ 01:22:668.
these two parts have cymbal-sound 00:17:512 and 01:20:637 specially.
thus, we can change like this for diversity structure.
    00:17:199 - move to 00:16:887.
    01:20:949 - move to 01:20:637.
so we can make this (5-3-1-3-5) symmetry pattern.

  4. 00:17:668 (64, 65, 66) - change to kdk~?(it's more fit to guitar sound.)
I think this main structure is more fit to guitar sound.

    00:16:730 - (60) ~ 00:17:980 - (64) in picture. (64) has cymbal burst. so it can be a k.

  5. 00:30:793 - slider end is unsnapped.
  6. 00:32:746 - add k here.(It's optional.)
  7. 00:40:715 (167) - move to 00:40:558. and change to kkk d k d.(I think triplet is right here. we can hear triple tick sound in 00:40:480 ~ 00:40:637.)
  8. 01:20:480 - change to d~?
  9. 01:21:418 (356, 357, 358) - same with above change to kdk.

  • [Oni]
  1. 00:55:480 (299, 300, 301, 302, 303) - I feel awkward this 5-plet. I think remove 00:55:715 is better. and 00:56:652 - move to 00:56:496. and change to d. for avoid same kkd pattern.
Plus, 00:56:887 - change to k.(same burst sound.)
    00:55:012 ~ 00:56:887 - so change like this.

  2. 00:58:683 (323, 324) - swap this. so make ddk.(00:58:762 has burst sound.)
  3. 01:08:762 - change to k~? (burst sound and for better flow.)
  4. 00:59:152 (327) - how about change to k~? so kkkkd.(for express consecutive drum sound.)

Wow~ your mapping skill is improved a lot. :D
Generally, it's really nice map.

  1. 01:05:324 (57) - change to k~? (follow drum & make consistency with other diffs. and this is reverse with next dkd. :3) oki.
  2. 01:13:605 (72, 73) - maybe we can add finisher these two notes. like Muzu & Oni.(I think this uninterrupted finisher is more play to easy for beginners.) ok, fixed to all similar parts too.

  • [Futsuu]
  1. 01:04:230 - just suggestion. K is fit imo.(vocal is burst.) If you accept, please change this in all diff.(muzu & oni.) eh, but its already K here.
  2. 01:12:980 (123, 124, 125, 126) - same suggestion. add finisher these. sure.

  • [Muzukashii]
  1. 00:11:418 (37) - how about change to k~?(I think k is more fit to eletronic sound. and it's more blanced with next kkdkd pattern.) oki.

    01:20:949 - move to 01:20:637.
so we can make this (5-3-1-3-5) symmetry pattern.

    nice idea, applied.
  4. 00:17:668 (64, 65, 66) - change to kdk~?(it's more fit to guitar sound.)
I think this main structure is more fit to guitar sound.

00:16:730 - (60) ~ 00:17:980 - (64) in picture. (64) has cymbal burst. so it can be a k. lol, the idea is overlapping with your previous mod, but i like your previous suggestion more.

  5. 00:30:793 - slider end is unsnapped. intended snapped to 1/16, since in game the tick is only 8, but actually should be 9.
  6. 00:32:746 - add k here.(It's optional.) will keep this i think to fix the gap with oni.
  7. 00:40:715 (167) - move to 00:40:558. and change to kkk d k d.(I think triplet is right here. we can hear triple tick sound in 00:40:480 ~ 00:40:637.) oki.
  8. 01:20:480 - change to d~? rearranged with your previous mod.
  9. 01:21:418 (356, 357, 358) - same with above change to kdk. same.

  • [Oni]
  1. 00:55:480 (299, 300, 301, 302, 303) - I feel awkward this 5-plet. I think remove 00:55:715 is better. and 00:56:652 - move to 00:56:496. and change to d. for avoid same kkd pattern.

    00:55:012 ~ 00:56:887 - so change like this.

applied, but i prefer to map the 310 one as d, similar drum sound with 00:56:262 - .
  2. 00:58:683 (323, 324) - swap this. so make ddk.(00:58:762 has burst sound.) i think dkd works better for the vocal.
  3. 01:08:762 - change to k~? (burst sound and for better flow.) want to make it consistent with 01:05:793 (371,372,373) - .
  4. 00:59:152 (327) - how about change to k~? so kkkkd.(for express consecutive drum sound.) somehow for me kdkkd looks better to follow the drum roll.

Wow~ your mapping skill is improved a lot. :D thanks xd.

i'm usually bad at timing but wanna mention, are you sure about the timing? as some sections it looks weird and i think it needs multiple red lines for some sections..
JUDYDANNY
Hello, via any requests (timing checking).
And, I'm not sure about them.

  • ①From beginning 2 bars,it seems a bit late to follow the guitar. You should make the early at the short times.
BPM seems not 192.000. 192.025 plays and sounds more better imo.
③some accidental timings should be fixed.
[Timings]
  1. 00:00:637 - move to 00:00:620 and bpm change to 192.025 . reason①, and ②
  2. 00:03:136 - add red and check the Omit 1st bar line. reason①
  3. 01:14:380 - maybe add red line, it seems a bit later to sounds the Instrumental (cuz of mixing ?) reason③

Thanks Judy for your timing check, but somehow i feel kinda unsure with the timing that you brought here.
  1. I don't think the differences between 192 and 192.025 would really noticeable, especially for a tv size song like this map since the song itself is short.
  2. I'm not sure too if we really need to add new red lines for the guitar parts, will consider this.
Once again, thanks Judy :)

Hanjamon wrote:

I follow the std set's timing, the map itself is already ranked, but well we can't always trust that timing though :P

Selfpoped the bubble for now by updated it, what i changed:
  1. Changed sample timing from N:C1 to N.
  2. For oni, made 00:12:668 - the same with 01:16:418 - for consistency (selfmod).
  3. For muzu, made 01:22:980 - the same with 01:20:480 - for consistency too (selfmod).
  4. For Kantan, moved 00:02:043 - to 00:02:355 - , applied to other similar parts too like 00:04:543 - , 00:07:043 - , 01:25:793 - , etc (IRC with Charlotte).

I dont think its not noticeable. As time goes by (especially from kiai), It makes gradually large gap.
Anyway, you should get other opinions.

Oni
00:11:730 - add finisher, i hear here a plate sound
00:12:980 - ^
00:17:980 - ^
01:21:730 - ^
01:22:980 - ^

00:24:699 (124) - change to kat, this is higher sound than sound after him (you following the vocal, not drums)
00:24:855 (125) - change to don, this is lower sound than sound until him (you following the vocal, not drums)

00:31:183 - add don. This should be a one stream.
00:31:652 - ^

00:36:262 - add don, i hear here a drum sound.

00:37:355 - add kat (?), maybe here should be a kkd pattern
00:37:433 - ^

00:48:918 (259) - change to don, i dont hear here a high sound

00:17:980 - ^

01:22:980 - ^ keep, normal note is already enough to emphasize these.

00:24:699 (124) - change to kat, this is higher sound than sound after him (you following the vocal, not drums) keep, i think it's fine like this.
00:24:855 (125) - change to don, this is lower sound than sound until him (you following the vocal, not drums) same.

00:31:183 - add don. This should be a one stream. keep, this isn't inner oni to have that long 1/4 stream in a row.
00:31:652 - ^ same.

00:36:262 - add don, i hear here a drum sound. keep, want to emphasize 00:36:412 - .

00:37:355 - add kat (?), maybe here should be a kkd pattern pmuch the same as above.
00:37:433 - ^ same.

00:48:918 (259) - change to don, i dont hear here a high sound keep, different vocal sound with 00:46:411 - .

00:59:074 (325,326,327,328,329) - change to kkkkd pattern kdkkd looks fine for me.

01:03:137 (357) - change to don there is a snare sound there so i mapped it k.
01:03:918 (361) - change to don looks good, changed to d.

01:13:918 - remove a finisher keep, want to emphasize this part.

01:29:230 (515) - change to big don(?) keep, different with 01:26:721 - .
Thanks for your mod :)

Had an IRC with Bonsai, fixed the timing. Forgot to savelog the chat, rip.

Got curious because of Konomi ♥.♥

I felt like the intro in the Oni diff is a bit too misleading. It is currently ignoring the only prominent instrument here: guitar
Let me explain...

After every quintuplet of notes you decided to use a pause to then switch to the slower guitar rhythm, but imo you should end exactly on it in order to make it more intuitive
For example: 00:01:404 (6) - after this you could add a 00:01:561 - d 00:01:718 - k
00:03:915 (17) - after this same: 00:04:071 - d 00:04:227 - k
00:06:571 - d 00:06:727 - k

I also find the last beat (00:07:821 (38,39) - ) a bit weak, considering how powerful the song is:
it's a matter of contrast, either remove any additional beats (like 00:07:664 - ) or make a chain from 00:07:039 - like this:

(where the last two notes are a K and a D)

Just my opinion tho, not sure how accurate it may be
Surono
dem mrsergio do tacos drum drum, konomi luv.

kinda overdone if add them just for guitar emphasized. 00:00:461 - ~ 00:07:977 - actually its enough mapped for noticeable guitar, the mainsounds of guitar.

00:06:571 - d 00:06:727 - k Imo i would become a little overdone, although the guitar sounds are exist there but considering about the density, i think current pattern works fine.

I also find the last beat (00:07:821 (38,39) - ) a bit weak, considering how powerful the song is:
it's a matter of contrast, either remove any additional beats (like 00:07:664 - ) or make a chain from 00:07:039 - like this:

(where the last two notes are a K and a D) Let me explain this:
00:07:664 - mapped this for structure consistency with 00:05:165 - and 00:02:660 - and why i mapped it as a d instead of a k? Because though i added it for consistency, the sound is different with the other 2 sections and i think that's how variation works in taiko, also to emphasize 00:07:821 - (comparing dkd and kkd, which one gives more impact on 00:07:821 - ?) the same goes to 00:07:508 - why i didn't map it. Then i personally think no need to give 00:07:821 - a finisher too, to emphasize the long pitch guitar sound at 00:07:977 - , like i did at 00:09:227 (37,38,39) - .

Just my opinion tho, not sure how accurate it may be
Smh when a std BN could also mod mania and taiko (hey, i still remember you ever modded my first mania map lol).
Thanks Sergio :)

Edit: my main mode isn't taiko so idk much about how taiko pattern works tbh.

Hi it's me again. I have concerns about offset:

The offset should be set at 461 and 2974 respectively:

Here are some evidences for the changes above (I assume the offset are changed according to the above timing):

> 00:10:473 - guitar chord onset

> 00:22:972 - clear starter for a new section at the 16th bars. NC works here.

> 00:53:907 - / 00:54:219 - common 1/1 drum kick set-up for a new strong section.

> The centre of whole melody falls on vocal parts mainly. Therefore, the main melody would be following the vocal layer expectedly. Same applies to guitar chords.

> As said before, Suzuki Konomi's music often contains off-beat drum kicks which locate at the 2.5th beat. That's unusual, but it is how the music works somehow.

Need not to say, the current barlines look really weird and that at least aroused players' concerns about the snaps too.

Please consider the above suggestions.

From what i saw, your main concern is about the timing, i know im not that good at timing, so i asked Bonsai about the timing in the past, and i think we can believe his timing. Not sure myself too, lets wait for QATs decision about the timing.

Edit: my old chat about timing with Bonsai.

SPOILER
18:30 Dellvangel: hi bonsai, if u're not busy, may i req to you for a timing check?
18:33 Bonsai: gimme :D
18:34 Dellvangel: lmao, i thought u were afk xd
18:34 *Dellvangel is listening to [https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1272976 Suzuki Konomi - Blow out]
18:34 Dellvangel: this map
18:34 Bonsai: well, I was, lol
18:34 Dellvangel: currently i follow std offset, but suddenly judydanny come suggesting to add few red lines which im not sure about
18:35 Bonsai: whoa, judydanny is using fancy number-symbols :eyes:
18:36 Dellvangel: yea, he is using that fancy symbols :joy:
18:38 Dellvangel: and i kinda doubt if i should place the offset 00:00:480 - or 00:00:637 -
18:39 Bonsai: oh that's fine
18:39 Dellvangel: idk i hear it better on 637 but the white lines looks weird in game somehow
18:40 Dellvangel: so the current timing is fine? xd
18:40 Dellvangel: *look
18:40 Bonsai: well, the note is on 00:00:463 - , but it's a syncopated downbeat like 00:02:963 - etc so the timing is correct
18:40 Bonsai: uh no, sec
18:41 Dellvangel: sure, take ur time lol
18:46 Bonsai: I find [http://puu.sh/w3u7a/7dc3b144fd.png this] to be more accurate since the first sections seem a bit too late to me
18:46 Bonsai: ends on the same spot as judy suggested, but is slightly earlier at 00:03:134 - :P
18:47 Bonsai: (and btw, 0.025 difference in BPM make a difference of 10ms after one minute, that's quite a lot ^^)
18:49 Dellvangel: oh i see lol i thought i wouldn't become that much, didnt calculate it at all xd
18:49 Dellvangel: how about the last part? judy did suggest that part too
18:59 Bonsai: I don't really understand that bc adding a red line there wouldn't change anything?.?
18:59 Bonsai: oh, changes 3ms
18:59 Bonsai: eh, I feel like that's neglegible
19:00 Dellvangel: so we can ignore that one right? only 3 ms hmm
19:01 Bonsai: ye :3
19:02 Bonsai: I mean there are still drums there that sound very early
19:02 Bonsai: so I don't see any difference to the previous sections anyways
19:04 Dellvangel: i see thanks bonsai for the help, it is really helpful ^^
19:04 Bonsai: you're welcome :P

Anyway, thanks for your concern, i really appreciate it :)
