This map has been deleted on the request of its creator. It is no longer available.
sczer
futsuu
00:46:396 (2,3,4,5) - add more blue notes
00:48:076 (6,7,8,9,10) - same
00:49:996 (11,12,13,14,15) - same

other than that maybe lower sv a bit and add some notes in the later parts of the map

kantan
pretty good maybe add some sliders ^^

Looks like I actually managed to finish an Oni. Request is done. It's an pretty basic Oni with improvised patterns which respects the song's pace since it contains a base don-kat construct that is mostly pretty consistent. I hope you like it.

other than that maybe lower sv a bit and add some notes in the later parts of the map There's plenty of notes, and the rules do suggest 1.6 for low BPM with Kantan/Futsuu.

kantan
pretty good maybe add some sliders ^^ I think they aren't really all that needed.
Red is unchanged, blue is changed.

Quite impressive how fast you did that! I actually like it a lot, although I really wish it was in the 4* range, so the spread could be kept at a pretty consistent 1* per diff gap.

My Mod:

General:
SPOILER
-Finish the "New" dificult
-Adds a preview point to the timing. I recommend putting it in this part in all the difficulties: 01:13:036
-The timing points must be equal in all difficulties
-The correct title of the song is: Riders on the storm (Infected Mushroom Remix)
-The correct author of the song is: The Doors
-Add more common tags related to your beatmap

That's it, good luck with your beatmap :)

-Finish the "New" dificult This was an error. It shouldn't have made it into submission.
-Adds a preview point to the timing. I recommend putting it in this part in all the difficulties: 01:13:036 I added a preview point. But not where you stated. I chose something better.
-The timing points must be equal in all difficulties The timing points are there for hitsound volume control mostly, and the rest is for SV.
-The correct title of the song is: Riders on the storm (Infected Mushroom Remix) Fixed.
-The correct author of the song is: The Doors Fixed.
-Add more common tags related to your beatmap Give examples?

That's it, good luck with your beatmap :)
Blue is changed, red is not changed, and purple is a request for clarification.

Try using either the "Soft" samples, or "Normal" samples (preferably Normal), because "Drum" samples have no sound on taiko.
And use a higher volume, like use Ono's Volume settings so the notes that you hit can be heard better (20% is not very hearable)
Also, on "Timing Setup Panel", try to put the bpm multiplier (not to be confused with the bpm itself) as "x1", because the 1.6 is already set on Slider Velocity at the "timing" tab, and putting "x1.6" specially on a low diff is pretty much overkill.

TL;DR use normal sample, put the volume at 70% and not 20%, and bpm multiplier as 1
you can use this picture as a reference for the timing points, just remember not to put big changes on SV like from x1,00 to x0,5 on a low diff. (aka try to keep it as monotone as possible with the sv on the low diff, else new players wont be able to read it

00:53:836 (10) - Make this finisher, to emphasize the change of the rhythm
00:55:756 - put a d here, the break youre giving is a bit too large

Try using either the "Soft" samples, or "Normal" samples (preferably Normal), because "Drum" samples have no sound on taiko. Fixed. I always make that mistake...
And use a higher volume, like use Ono's Volume settings so the notes that you hit can be heard better (20% is not very hearable) Bumped up to 50%. 70% is overkill.
Also, on "Timing Setup Panel", try to put the bpm multiplier (not to be confused with the bpm itself) as "x1", because the 1.6 is already set on Slider Velocity at the "timing" tab, and putting "x1.6" specially on a low diff is pretty much overkill. That mistake wasn't supposed to even have happened. My bad.

TL;DR use normal sample, put the volume at 70% and not 20%, and bpm multiplier as 1
you can use this picture as a reference for the timing points, just remember not to put big changes on SV like from x1,00 to x0,5 on a low diff. (aka try to keep it as monotone as possible with the sv on the low diff, else new players wont be able to read it) Or I can keep it all at the x1 from earlier, which is fine.

00:53:836 (10) - Make this finisher, to emphasize the change of the rhythm Uh... okay.

00:55:756 - put a d here, the break you're giving is a bit too large
00:59:596 - put a d here
01:03:436 - put a k here now, same reason, and k because raise of pitch

01:11:596 - add a d here
01:12:076 - add a k here
I put these in, but people better start being a lot more damn specific with what they define as "easy".

I know ive said this before, but the spinners that are around 01:16:876 - to 01:47:596 - should be replaced with more notes, because adding spinners and then a break at 01:42:316 - is not really a good idea You've said it before and it's still as invalid as before. Kantans are supposed to be easy, and the spinners serve both to make it less boring to play and be a respite for the greenest of players.

01:49:516 - add a d here
01:53:356 - add a d here
01:55:276 (1) - make this k, pitch raised
01:57:196 - add a k here
02:01:036 - add a d here
02:03:916 (6) - this should be a K instead of a D, so it has consistency with 02:07:756 (5) - this part
02:07:756 (5) - ^
Yep, fixed these.

at 02:10:636 - to 02:41:356 - is not recommended to put spinners (I know its a pain to map them, but once you do it, youll see the diff and it'll be more fun to play) It's very funny that you say that, as I playtested both the Kantan and Futsuu diffs myself. And I really don't think I need to explain how it is more fun to plays spinners than slow, monotonous, and repetitive patterns. Maybe if you had suggested sliders, I would have agreed, but since you didn't greenlight those, these stay spinners.

-Futsuu-
Same issue with the BPM multiplier and volume setting, but better than what was on kantan. Applied same fix.
00:46:876 (4) - Delete this, starting with a 5 note pattern is not very good imo, at least let it have some build-up I'm sorry, was 45 seconds of intro somehow not enough of a buildup? I can get up and fix a sandwich and still not have that time elapsed.
00:48:076 - i think dkd k would sound better I think it sounds horrible, isn't fun to play, and is needlessly dickish for a casual Futsuu.
00:53:836 - On here try to put more variation, like kdk d k kdk d for example, because kdk kdk kdk kdk is a bit too monotone. This is the BEGINNING of a Futsuu. This is pretty well suited for a relaxed Futsuu. And kdk d k kdk d isn't variety, it's just removing notes to make an pointlessly complex pattern for a lighter Futsuu.
00:57:676 - same as above Ditto.
01:01:756 (30) - delete How about I just make it a d instead for consistency and not uselessly change metre?

01:03:436 - add a d
01:03:916 - add a k
01:04:396 - add a d
Oh, NOW you like this pattern? Fine, fixed.

01:05:356 - here it should sound better as d dkd No, it REALLY doesn't. Why are you so hell-bent on making the metric way more complicated than it needs to be?

01:07:276 - add a d
01:07:756 - add a k
01:08:236 - add a d
Again, thank you for finally appreciating that this isn't a damn Muzu.

01:13:036 - I think what could sound better would be D k K I like it. Okay, I'll put that in there!
01:45:676 - You could add some stuff here, a sudden 4/1 break is a bit too weird Not really. It quiets down and drops the foreground melody.

01:50:716 (4,5) - Delete to give some break, and might as well prepare them for the kiai
01:54:556 (4,5) - ^
01:58:396 (4,5) - ^
02:07:036 (11) - ^
You don't get to criticize a break and then immediately ask for four comparably sized breaks. No. Just... no.

02:39:436 - Could add some stuff here too, 4/1 break a bit too weird Or I could follow the next suggestion.
02:41:356 - add a K here Which I did.

-agu's Muzukashii-
lacks alot of 1/4 imo, and doublet note is a bit weird
00:48:076 (7,9) - make them k for the pitch change
00:52:396 (17,18) - might wanna make them finisher
00:57:436 (31) - delete
01:01:276 (43) - ^
01:05:116 (55) - ^
01:08:716 - here you could add a 1/2 ddK or a kdK
01:15:916 (82) - make this k, higher pitch than next note
01:16:876 (85) - make this K, emphasize start of kiai
01:32:236 (140) - make this finisher?
01:44:476 - add a d here?
01:47:596 (195) - finisher
02:02:956 (247) - ^
02:16:756 (293) - move to 02:16:636 - and make it d
02:19:516 - why not doublet like you set on the first 1/4 of the 2nd kiai?
02:21:196 - this seems a bit random, might make it 1/2 ddk
02:25:036 - ^, 1/2 kdk
02:34:876 - why not doublet like you set on the first 1/4 of the 2nd kiai?
02:37:996 - 1/2 ddk
02:41:356 (371) - finisher

-Ono's Oni-
01:16:876 - Why so many kdd/kkd at the intro of kiai? Because Ono?
note i actually love the 2nd half of it lol
01:36:196 (2) - Delete and make 01:36:076 (1) - finisher? Sure.

-Grim's Ura Oni-
1/8 are too much for this song imo, and the 1/6 too ;_; (no wonder sr broke) The SR didn't break. I deliberately told Grimbow, "Go nuts.". Also, get the hell out of here with that crap, boy. 1/8 is only 250 BPM, and considering the complex beat structure, it's quite called for.
00:53:116 (24,26) - make them k?
i cant find anything else

Wish ourselves good luck?

Ok first of all, what's that: "01:36:196 (2) - Delete and make 01:36:076 (1) - finisher? Sure." in Ono's diff?
Did you ask Ono to do this? You aren't allowed to modify GDs without the permission of the mapper.
And the second thing, why didn't Vulkin received kudosu for the mod?

at 02:10:636 - to 02:41:356 - It's very funny that you say that, as I playtested both the Kantan and Futsuu diffs myself. And I really don't think I need to explain how it is more fun to plays spinners than slow, monotonous, and repetitive patterns. Maybe if you had suggested sliders, I would have agreed, but since you didn't greenlight those, these stay spinners.
Yes, and you're a convert player. Spinners are horrible because there's no rhythm to them and you essentially mash through them, leaving huge gaps in the track. It's not fun to mash through spinners. It's also not fun to hear a fuckton of D and Ks together in a giant lump without forethought.

First off, I thought Ono DID do it. I do not recall offhand, though. As for Vulkin, I merely forgot.

Actually, I made this after playing mostly playing Taiko exclusive maps. Spinners in the Kantan and Futsuu are there so there isn't a giant excess of notes. Again, I'm perfectly fine changing them to sliders, but I'm not going to overdo a Kantan or Futsuu in the name of tradition.

I talked with him and he DIDN'T allowed you to do something with his diff, i saw that you did the same in other mapsets where you requested a GD and that's how it doesn't works, if you gonna do this please, do the mapsets by yourself and don't request GDs.

Oh. I admit, this is a major flaw of mine, and I really am working to NOT do this out of habit. I do these small fixes primarily due to the fact that I don't want to waste the GDer's time by fixing this really microscopic flaws (Ono is a good example: he's a QAT). But I think I should stop doing this from now on, since apparently, this is NOT okay to do.

However, I will state this: I do not remember actually making this change. Seriously, I do not remember actually applying it.

2nd check for riders of the storm
since i modded before, you shouldnt give me kds again
And just looked at my mod again, it was shit, had basically everything what not to do in a mod, and made you angry by accident, sorry ;_;
Ill try to justify a bit more (I hope i dont go and overdo my justifications, nor making justifications because i feel like it) and ill try to make this mod's quality better than the previous one

-General-
I would disable Widescreen Support & Countdown for all the diffs, because having these toggled on in taiko are unrankable, with the exception of Widescreen support which you can use if youre planning to put a Storyboard on the map.

-Kantan-
Where's the Kiai?
also some inherited points (other than the kiai points mentioned before) are doing nothing here, would remove them if they're not going to be used at all.
I would put some notes between the spinners rather than leaving a break, because of the kiai and theres more than 4/1 breaks between the spinners, and now that i think of it, their lengths dont match the spinners from futsuu, but i guess its ok because of its density compared to kantan's.

-Futsuu-
00:46:156 - I would change this pattern to something else, because of three reasons: too many of the same pattern, which results in a somewhat dull patterning because the lack of variation doesnt really fit for other people, and because you used the same pattern for different sounds (00:48:076 - Ex), which is extremely odd to hear, and because using too many 1/2 there, I know the bpm is pretty much low, but at least make something similar like X XXX (You can make some variation with that like k kdk, d ddk, etc.) for the sake of simplicity, after all a futsuu isnt that much different from a kantan imo. (00:49:996 - Although i would keep this one here, as some sort of "Part where the song gets slightly harder" thingy)

00:53:836 - I would recommend doing something like XXX X X XXX X X (Ex: kdk d k kdk d d) to nerf that part and make some variation, plus doing 1/2 patterns every 1/1 is something nearly Muzukashii level, or at least something that would belong in a kiai

01:05:356 (40) - Im pretty sure you should remove the finisher here, as for futsuu players, hitting a Big note and then right after a regular note on a 1/2 snapping would be overkill for the futsuu player.

01:09:196 - 01:13:996 - I think it would be better to follow this part like you did on Kantan, since as of now, its somewhat easier, which doesnt make that much sense

01:13:036 (52,53,54,55,56) - Too many Finishers, would remove the finisher from these notes, because of its overkilling nature

01:23:116 - Personally i would put d kd as it reflects the pitch somewhat better.

01:27:676 (3) - Making this a d should be slightly better, as it will have consistency with 01:19:996 (3) -

01:28:396 - k d k kd could follow the pitch somewhat better

Since the kiai "loops" from 01:32:236 - I would make the 2nd half the same as the first, but if you want, you could put some small variation on it so the consistency is not mostly broken.

01:47:596 - Although i would like to put some small changes on this section of the song (Ex: putting some breaks, making k d kkd k d kkd until the pitch change, where it will go backwards (d k ddk d k ddk)), its certainly better than 00:53:836 -, so congrats! ^^

02:02:956 - Lower density than Kantan on this section, would do the same as I suggested on 01:09:196 - 01:13:996 -

02:10:636 - The entire kiai is made with finisher notes & spinners, I know that the kiai justifies for some finisher notes, but making it entirely with finisher notes doesnt seem so fitting for such a relaxing song, moreover it would be hard to hit for futsuu players.
Sounds exactly the same as the first kiai, so i would use the same patterns (If you used the suggestions I provided), but I guess you can put some variation for the sake of Diversity.

-agu's Muzukashii-
For the kiai the 1/4 were placed good i guess (except 2nd kiai & 01:44:236 - , doublet note seems a bit weird for a muzu), but i would strongly suggest to make them monotone, since that complexity of patterns would be best for an Oni, and i would put some more 1/4 to bridge better with the Oni.
Also i would put some finishers, seriously lack of them ruins the emphasis imo

00:54:796 (23) - Why isnt this k? would make it consistent with the following patterns that you used

01:35:476 (156) - This note doesnt seem to follow anything really noticeable, would move it to 01:35:356 - so it follows the piano (?) better

-Ono's Oni-
First half of the first kiai seems to be using a rhythm that isnt really followed in any other part of the kiai, nor in the other kiai (kdd as a main usage, rather than 2 & 4 note pattern as main usage)
Nothing else though, seems pretty good imo.

Accidentally almost modded my own diff here, ill take a look at it tomorrow

-Grimbow's Inner Oni-
>Go Nuts
Surely he did, theres a gigantic ammount of 1/6 & 1/8 usage, I was worried more about the 1/8 but now that i heard more clearly, its fine i guess
I hope the PP doesnt break because of them though ^^

Im really sorry if this mod was actually worse than the previous one ;_;
But i hope it helps a bit more

First off, you shouldn't feel the need to apologize for my outbursts. That was entirely unacceptable for me to do on my part. Second, if you would like, you could ask for the first mod to be denied kudos so this mod, which deserves it more, could receive them instead.

-General-
I would disable Widescreen Support & Countdown for all the diffs, because having these toggled on in taiko are unrankable, with the exception of Widescreen support which you can use if youre planning to put a Storyboard on the map. Wow. Thanks, man. I didn't even know about this.

-Kantan-
Where's the Kiai?
also some inherited points (other than the kiai points mentioned before) are doing nothing here, would remove them if they're not going to be used at all.
I would put some notes between the spinners rather than leaving a break, because of the kiai and theres more than 4/1 breaks between the spinners, and now that i think of it, their lengths dont match the spinners from futsuu, but i guess its ok because of its density compared to kantan's. After a long time thinking about this, I have decided to preserve the rhythm better via sliders, since you can't speed through sliders like you can with spinners. I adjusted the Kantan's sliders to a length according to something more suited to its density of notes.

-Futsuu-
00:46:156 - I would change this pattern to something else, because of three reasons: too many of the same pattern, which results in a somewhat dull patterning because the lack of variation doesnt really fit for other people, and because you used the same pattern for different sounds (00:48:076 - Ex), which is extremely odd to hear, and because using too many 1/2 there, I know the bpm is pretty much low, but at least make something similar like X XXX (You can make some variation with that like k kdk, d ddk, etc.) for the sake of simplicity, after all a futsuu isnt that much different from a kantan imo. (00:49:996 - Although i would keep this one here, as some sort of "Part where the song gets slightly harder" thingy) I'm going to admit this: this was so hard to simplify, because I was following the vocals (k-d-k-d-k = dog-with-out-a-bone, ac-tor-out-a-lone, ride-rs-on-the-storm), but, as much as it pains me, I changed this to a more simple kdddk (since vocals are the ONLY thing here, and skipping a syllable is hella awkward.).

00:53:836 - I would recommend doing something like XXX X X XXX X X (Ex: kdk d k kdk d d) to nerf that part and make some variation, plus doing 1/2 patterns every 1/1 is something nearly Muzukashii level, or at least something that would belong in a kiai Reviewing this, I found that the first and third 1/2 triplets did not have enough of a notable sound in the percussion to warrant a d note, so I made this k k kdk k k kdk (which is basically just a simpler inversion variant of your example, which was... meh.).

01:05:356 (40) - Im pretty sure you should remove the finisher here, as for futsuu players, hitting a Big note and then right after a regular note on a 1/2 snapping would be overkill for the futsuu player. That wasn't supposed to be a finisher to begin with. Good thing you caught that.

01:09:196 - 01:13:996 - I think it would be better to follow this part like you did on Kantan, since as of now, its somewhat easier, which doesnt make that much sense Fixed, with a slightly more complex pattern than the Kantan had.

01:13:036 (52,53,54,55,56) - Too many Finishers, would remove the finisher from these notes, because of its overkilling nature Fixed.

01:23:116 - Personally i would put d kd as it reflects the pitch somewhat better. It reflects the pitch better, but not the dynamics.

01:27:676 (3) - Making this a d should be slightly better, as it will have consistency with 01:19:996 (3) - Eh... sure, why not?

01:28:396 - k d k kd could follow the pitch somewhat better Again, this clashes with the dynamics, and only follows pitch for one instrument, meaning it throws harmony right out the window.

Since the kiai "loops" from 01:32:236 - I would make the 2nd half the same as the first, but if you want, you could put some small variation on it so the consistency is not mostly broken. I believe I did this.

01:47:596 - Although i would like to put some small changes on this section of the song (Ex: putting some breaks, making k d kkd k d kkd until the pitch change, where it will go backwards (d k ddk d k ddk)), its certainly better than 00:53:836 -, so congrats! ^^ Thanks!

02:02:956 - Lower density than Kantan on this section, would do the same as I suggested on 01:09:196 - 01:13:996 - Fixed.

Sounds exactly the same as the first kiai, so i would use the same patterns (If you used the suggestions I provided), but I guess you can put some variation for the sake of Diversity. Eh, I just copied the first, since the sounds ARE identical after all.

Was just afraid because sometimes just HR'ing a 5* map could give 300 pp
and considering the speed of the map, HR'ing it would be no challenge for alot of pp

Yeah, but HR'ing with this high of OD AND liberal usage of 1/8? That's not easy acc, so PP is a lot harder than one would think.
