00:19:684 (3,4,5) - make these equilateral sure thing
00:24:300 (1,2) - this blanket is a bit off fixed
00:50:146 (4) - you could change this slider to form a tiny tear https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8249722 tried a bit
01:00:300 (3,4,5) - equilateral here again? changed quite a bit here, looks better now!
01:15:992 (1,3) - blanket off fixed
01:53:838 (3,4,5,6) - the square´s irregular due to stacking not much I can do about that and it isnt that noticable fortunatly
02:19:223 (5,2) why not use a 1/2 overlap here? sure thing
03:09:069 (2,3) - this is a kinda weird flow hmm should be fine with the sliderleniency tho, will keep this in mind
03:22:453 (2,3) - make these parallel with 03:22:915 (4,5) arent they alrdy oO?
03:28:453 (6,1) - check the approach circle for the blanket fixed
03:30:300 (5,6,1) - the downbeat could have bigger ds than 2 previous jumps alrdy a flow twist here and even though its a downbeat the vocalist starts to sing lower there then (6) so it should be fine imo
03:41:838 (1) - at least make this a return slider doesnt really fit this section at all, reverted back to a weird smalll slider to indicate something is different there
03:49:223 (1) - space out a bit more tried a bit
04:00:300 (1,2,3) - equally space out? prefere the current way, fits the music a bit better imo since its goes a like 32123
04:03:992 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - check the ds here; could be made with polygon circles fixed
04:10:453 (1,2) - that´s a huge gap considering it´s 1/6 sliderleniency should take care of that
04:22:453 (1,2) - and 04:24:300 (1,2) are pretty different in spacing for being similar beats intentional, basicly the second one is the weaker version of the first one like (3,4) afterwards so I wanted a noticable difference here
Overall, a really nice work! Love both the map and the song, good luck!
Thanks for checking guys!Kyousukee wrote:

hi

00:03:992 (1,2,3,4) - is there reason why this distance is different from 00:00:300 (1,2,3,4) - because i dont see any reason... Changed it up a bit was for diversit
00:15:761 (2,3) - , 00:17:607 (2,3) - things like these, i can sort of hear a beat in the middle for possible triple stacks. tho if you're mapping only to major beats then probably current will do yep only mapping to major beats since this is the weakest of the similar sections in the song
00:26:376 (2,3) - i wouldn't have this significant change of distance. (00:26:146 (1,2) - 2x and 00:26:376 (2,3) - is 1x) this part is pretty evely calm.. yeah true mapped a bit into a corner when changing from prev mods, will try to fix somethign here
01:01:569 (2,3,4,5) - well for me, i would just rather use short slider with reverse to replace this since this is pretty calm part and not sure this deserves clickable note there calm part but its still intenser then the part it came from and I kinda want to emphasize those pianos a bit since it stands out in this section, just a reverse feels a bit lackluster and halts the flow for no reason imo
01:05:262 (2,3,4,5) - ^ (etc)
03:25:223 (1) - bending down middle looks better for me aight bended a bit more
03:37:107 (3,4) - i would just half stack this like every other half stack you did before. this is like indecisive kid at candy shop oh yeah thought I had that fixed
03:40:915 (4) - ^
03:38:146 (1) - feels like this is eating crucial beat following the violin here exclusivly, don't want this to split up since it becomes a bit too dense then for the long violin strings
03:42:300 (2) - ^
03:45:530 (1) - ^ (etc)
04:28:684 (2,3,4,5,6) - I wonder if you can put more character into this jump more with the song. cuz 04:32:376 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2) - this follows with song much better sure thing!
05:17:838 (1) - i feel removing reverse and putting a circle where this originally ended is nicer since you clickable just before spinner gives better feedback (since spinner doesn't really have feedback) true but the rhythm polarity for these sounds kinda makes anything non reverse silder play really frustrating, so I'm just gonna leave it for now
hope that helps.

- 00:26:607 (3) - can it be aligned in the centre along x-axis, like 00:26:376 (2,4,5) - ? Fixd
- 00:31:684 - not sure what this slider head's following, at least 00:30:761 (2) - 's following piano, may start it at 00:31:915 - instead? or like the next stanza, follow wholly vocals 00:33:530 (1,2,3,4) - and so on yeah was meant on vocals, kinda tricky here
- 01:01:223 (1,2,3,4,5) - don't find this flow intuitive changed
- 01:01:569 (2,3,4,5) - these sound off and 1/8 to me https://puu.sh/wcaxs/7252597dba.png, not sure if the timing is inaccurate or the beats are placed like that piano goes basicly first 3 notes 1/6 into 2 1/4s so simplefied it here since that rythm played really bad
- 01:05:262 (2,3,4,5) - previous two points apply here too changed the flow a bit
- 01:19:684 (1) - i guess there should be sort of spacing leap here based on what you did in the previous patterns to emphasize the vocal? ah yeah was inconsistent with the 2minute counterpart
- 01:27:069 (3) - make the head linear to 01:25:223 (1,2) - 's heads? sure thing
- 01:36:761 (2,3) - this tilts me a little bit on the placement (the half-baked blanket?) lol can you make (3) like this? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8275669 aight sure thing
- 01:39:992 (1,2) - ctrl+g plays more comfortable to me (like 01:50:146 (2,3,4,5,1,2) - ), the sudden reversal of whirl doesn't feel good, at least to me aight plays both fine to me so changed
- 02:20:607 - increase volume? say, by at least 20%, because i can't hear any normal claps starting from here sure thing
- 02:29:838 (4,5) - don't think an increase in spacing's necessary because of absence of vocal, does it make sense? because i saw you do the trick from 02:05:838 - yeah mapped kinda in corner, changed prev slider to fix it
- 02:54:300 (2) - reverse head and tail? since this was brought up in another mod aswell I'll change it
- 02:54:761 (3) - ^
- 03:01:223 - no clue why volumes are so low before the kiai, it's so surging eeuh was for a bit of buildup aswell but upped this by 25% and its counter part around minute 1:40 too
- 03:09:530 (3) - 04:30:761 (3) - why not ctrl+g? XD tell me how you deduce such pattern pleaseeee had this ininitially but had some people say to emphasize the clap more, changed back!
- 03:24:761 (4,5,1) - are these supposed to be symmetric euhm how to put it, not fully but the overlap line should be the y-axis
- 04:03:992 - 04:11:376 - maybe a good choice to add soft whistle at every 1st and 3rd white tick for the stress of pianos liking that, adding another hs for the whisles
- 04:38:146 (4) - this isn't perfectly symmetric oops
- 04:41:030 (2,3) - ayy suggest removing this and make 04:40:915 - a slider, the downbeat on 04:40:915 is very much dominant to have an extended slider aight sure thing, that main instrument kinda sounded like it had a tricky trip tho but I don't like trips starting on whites too so changed!
- 04:41:146 (3,1) - this blanket is flawed fixed with above I think
- 05:02:607 (5) - ctrl+g for flow like others in this kiai aight
- 05:17:838 - hitsound is inaudible to me, the drop in volume is too dramatic, make it 50% or something? sure thing
- i think kiai's emphasis is not done well compared to non-kiais, spacing doesn't do anything on this matter. Tried to go for a denser rythm at first, didnt really brought out the music and felt overmapped, so I went with harder patterns and higher spacing instead, any tips on this maybe? The idea behind the large spacing in kiai was to follow large moments like a conductor/violists do

Hellothere
Random mod coz why not (#modreq)
Good map & music as usual
[Unstoppable]
- 00:15:069 (1,2,3) - tbh, this construction looks a little bit ugly. Especially the (1) slider by itself. Asymmetry triggers so hard. I understood the idea of this pair 00:15:069 (1,3) , but still... Ideally, everything there should be with blanket and consistent spacing https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8273472 Like this, but better xD ayy why not
- 00:17:838 (3,4) - red node on these sliders is pretty much unreasonable. It creates a strong disharmony with smooth 00:16:915 (1) - 00:16:915 (1,3,4) - I would prefer straight sliders here sure thing
- 00:19:453 (2,4) - i believe it could be avoidable. They are not even perfectly lined up with the (3) slider ( https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8273509 ). What about smth like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8273530 kinda prefer the spacing increase here so its more in line with the rest
- 00:26:146 (1) - the placement looks pretty random and illogical. Yeah, flow'n'stuff, but spacing... was meant to bea bit of counterpart to 00:24:992 (2,3) - aka moving back up when the pitch gets back on
- 00:37:223 (1,2) - eeeh, might look much better[/color] together. 2-1 blanket and visual spacing in general. btw, 00:38:838 (3) - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8273577 would be nice to hide it under the (1) in process, with some symmetry https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8273584 aaah yeah stacking fucked it over
- 00:44:146 (4,1) - i would like to drag (1) a bit forward for better visuals with (4) https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8273598 oh yeah fixed
- 00:57:300 (3,4,5) - perfect triangle? 3-4(head)-5(sliderend) moved a bit but still looks the same, stacking screws is up here
- 01:01:569 (2,3,4,5) - since 3.7* is in my difficulty range for playing, I can say for sure - this is pretty much unexpected in such a calm part. This part has no really strong rhythm, and piano could play really anything 1/3 or 1/4, it's hard to realize in first run how to push this (it was nice four 50's for me). So - imo - reverse slider is desirable here. Just at first time. It might be legit entry point, because the song became stronger just right after it 01:02:146 - so you can support the amplification of the tune by "streams", and even more - player already knows what rhythm it has and how to push it flow and hs feedback should be quite better with kwans change taken into account, care to playtest again mate? Just 1 reverse for the piano feels a bit off bc you loose all mometum and the transistion to the next note makes it play rather awkward imo
- 01:02:146 - Isn't the song has changed its rhythm, and now it has the downbeat right on this point? 01:05:838 (6) - 01:09:530 (5) - 01:13:223 (6) -
01:15:069 (3) - etc, sounds like really strong downbeats. So I think, this part should break the big-white-NC logic, and has NCs more into the music euhm not really I think, the song just added a really strong onbeat there instead of the regular I think, here you can hear it pretty good 01:09:530 (5,1) - got some damp cymbals clashing on the current downbeat aswell- 01:33:069 (2,4) - any good reason for this overlap? looks randomly placed yeah changed was for bit better flow :d
- 02:15:069 (5,6) - blanket triggers so hard xd https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-u6Zv ... -06-59.png less triggering
- 02:18:300 (3,5,2) - consistent overlap? sure thing
- 02:33:300 (4,1) - isn't it too close for such a strong tune on (1) ? want to keep it consistent with the first part and even though its a bit close spacing the prev stacking gives it kinda the same impact as if it was higher spaced imo
- 02:38:146 (6) - same story about downbeat's change
- 02:51:992 (1,2,3) - visually inconsistent and (3) looks randomly placed made visually increase, 3 was in the middle symmetry with those 2 prev sliders
- 03:29:838 (3,4,5,6,1,2) - maybe some pattern here? looks not very good tbh did a bit
- 03:31:684 (4) - direct it the same way as the followpoint from (3) ? did something here with the patterns
- 03:41:838 (1) - triple instead? since you're following the violin, it could be more accurate, and fun afterall eeuh trips for white to red :/ but I just noticed these are 1/3 so did a reverse instead
- 04:02:607 (2,3,5) - weird spacing whats weird about it? seems fine to me tbh wiht the music
- 04:05:376 (7) - these sliders in this part make too huge deceleration of gameplay. the part is fairly intense, and the sliders aren't support it good enough. i really-really wanna see 2 circles instead circles would be more frustrating imo since you'll prob get a 100 all the time on the first circle after the 1/4 slider, well at least I did with DT when it was 2 circles there, the decellartion also fits with the music imo since it kinda sounds like a hold sound
- 04:22:453 (1,3) - you've never used this spacing for making an overlap before. make it more consistent to what you did before?
- 04:24:300 (1,3) - ^ also, it isn't straight enough to the previous followpoint increased overlaps so its more in line wiht the rest
- 04:31:684 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - sliderend of the (1) is a bit off of the triangular pattern changed a bit with overlap fixes
- 04:41:146 (3,1) - fix (1) - more perfect joint placement changed from other mod
- 04:46:453 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9) - make it more pattern'ish? liking the symmetry here mate 04:46:684 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) -
- 04:51:992 (1) - shape is a bit ugly and unreasonable by itself was paired shape with later trumpet on
- Very messy placement in the last kiai-part. I mean... I can see the logic, also it's made with good feeling of the music, but it lacks of some cool structure and patterns. For example, this stuff 04:56:376 (2,3,4,5,1,2,4,6) - 04:58:223 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - 05:12:992 (2,3,4,5,6) - will see what to do about this, maybe introduce some stuff in the early kiais and up it here or smthing
Thanks for the mod man! much appreciatedBakari wrote:
Hey!
[Unstoppable]~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- I don't really feel that the way you choose to map the intro matches the music. Let me explain that.
went back to initial idea here wich is kinda similar, all groups of '3's kinda mapped as trips
- 00:00:300 (1,2,3,4) - there are 7 beats which are well hitsounded, which implies that all of them are important. Yet the player gets to click and actually feel only the first 5. Wouldn't it be a better idea to add more dense yet less spaced rhythm. So that the players would actually feel each of these beats. Example
- 00:11:376 (1) - I'd much rather split the slider into a 1/2 slider and a circle, so that the beat on 00:11:838 - would be stressed better.
Note: similar concept applies to 00:13:223 (4).- Afterwards, you could show the increase in the complexity of the rhythm by mapping with higher object density, 00:17:838 (3,4) - for instance these can easilybe replaced with circles while keeping the initial rhythm in mind and representing progression of difficulty. This goes on, as 00:21:300 (2,3) - here for example you stress (3) with a nice jump, but then you take that emphasis and minimize it as you leave beats like 00:21:761 - 00:22:223 - unclickable to a player.
- 00:28:915 (4,5) - these two, for example, work great as the two beats on 00:28:915 - 00:29:376 - are the strongest and the only ones players actually click, yet the fact that 00:28:453 (3) - is mapped in a pretty much identical way sort of damages the initial idea. The easiest thing here would be to replace (3) with a circle. Hence, you would be increasing both density and the spacing with 00:28:915 (4,5) - which sound more highlighted in the song. Did these for now
I understand your point but when making this I also took the other kiais into account for the intro part, 00:15:069 (1) - this section is basicly the 5th kiai in the song but its a lot weaker then the other 4 and it just comes off on a piano only intro so a less dense rhthm for this less intense 5th kiai seemed more fitting to differentiate it from the other kiais.
These are the things that could probably be considered and applied to the whole difficulty. I generally feel like you could be more accurate with the rhythm you follow and this would probably make the map feel more interesting.
More specific stuff comes this way:- 01:00:069 (2,3) - I wouldn't use a jump here since most of the jumps before seemed to be based on vocals. This one sort of stands out and feels off. Jump based on the noticable string changes like 01:03:761 (2,3) - etc, vocals are a bit too extended during this section to only have jumps for them imo
- 01:07:684 (3,4) - 01:07:684 (3,6) - aren't these two represent similar sounds? If that is the case, then there probably should be a jump to (4) as well. Let's try to Ctrl+G 01:08:146 (4,5) - and create a set of logically increasing in spacing jumps? 01:08:146 (4,5) - sounds more like filler to me tbh most notable changes are on (3,6) here in my eye (like Pam papa Pam if that makes sense)
- 01:19:684 (1,2) - let's compare 01:20:607 - 01:20:838 - and see which of these is stronger. It's quite clear that the stronger beat is 01:20:607 - and when you leave it unclickable, it feels illogical to have a 01:20:838 - really weak beat here mapped with a clickable object. Probably, something more like this could work better? You can either make 01:20:607 - clickable or just remove the circle from01:20:838. aight mentioned before so changing a bit, wanted to represent that dragged out vocal a bit here
- 01:50:146 (2,3,4,5,1) - (1) is the one beat that gets the least highlighted as you considerably reduce spacing here, yet it sounds a lot stronger than the previous beats. Wouldn't it be more logical to make (1) the biggest jump of the pattern? example
Note: 03:30:069 (4,5,6,1) - it reoccurs here and there, so you might want to look through the map for similar patterns if you agree with me. Yeah true prob need to change that a few times since I took strucutre a bit too much into account vs spacing, hope I got them all- 02:25:223 (2,3) - these two seem to work better as a single 1/1 slider. 02:25:684 - doesn't really need an individual circle. made a reverse like later on
- 03:18:069 (2,3) - I'd probably space (3) further just to keep the whole thing more dynamic. What do you think about a pattern like this? sure thing!
- 03:40:800 (3) - mapping the beat here while ignoring a stronger one on 03:40:223 - felt somewhat strange. You could try removing the 1/4 circle or adding one on 03:40:223 - to make the rhythm more structured. hmm that red tick sounds more like the echo'd version of (1) to me tbh at 100% and its more in line with the others for this section imo for contrast with 03:49:223 (1) - section
- 04:06:300 (3,4,5) - the clap or whatever the drum thing is is played on (5), yet the flow change happens with (4). Can you explain why? Wouldn't it be better to start spacing changes and pattern changes with (5) as it has more instrument support? poorly made example I don't really follow the claps here, mainly the 1/4 sounds wich are bit grouped in pairs tho so will see what to do here
- 04:21:530 (3,4,5,6) - this is the part where music gets more tense, the jump between 04:20:607 (1,2) - doesn't really belong to that part and should be reduced, I suppose. aight sure thing, also reduced its counterpart
And I think that is about it. Most of the things may apply to more than a single pattern. I feel like there is a bit of a mismatch between the cpacing and rhythm chosen for the difficulty.
Best of luck!
thanks for the mod! much appreciatedKencho wrote:
From The Pigeons and please m4m this map[General]
- Looks good
[Unstoppable]Call me back
- 00:28:222 (2,7) - Stack a bit off Fixed
- 00:28:915 (4,5,6,7) - How about making a regular square for a better shape? Madee the jump from 5-6 more noticable and made all visual ds with (1) instead, a square made 00:29:376 (6,7,1) - flow not that smooth when I tried
- 00:37:223 (1,2) - Blanket can be improved changed pattern slight to avoid that stack underneath (1) aswell
- 00:57:069 (2,6) - Stack a bit off fixed
- 01:08:607 (6,1) - Swap NC? oops
- The section of 02:05:838 - to 02:33:530 - , NC on every big white tick will be better. aight sure thing
- It seems that you want to make a symmetry pattern on 03:26:376 (3,4,5,1,2) - . But 03:26:607 (4) - probably should be moved upward 1px and leftward 2px because the horizon reflection of 03:27:069 (1) - is x211 y358. You may fix the slider 03:25:223 (1) - as well because it seems not symmetry at all (see the slider tail). oh yeah lowered the mid bend a bit from prev mod didnt see this changed the symmetry a bit fixed
- 03:41:838 (5) - NC? fixed
- 03:46:915 (2) - You may ctrl+G for a better flow sure thing
- 04:39:761 (3,5) - Swap these two and move 04:40:684 (7) - to 04:39:761 (3) - can emphasize the downbeats 04:39:992 - and 04:40:453 - gonna leave it for now, don't really want to big of a jump like in prev kiai endings since it leads into much softer section and I kinda like the idea but the jumps seem a bit too much compared to the rest for this section. Will see if I can come up with another mirrored pattern instead bc I mainly wanted these emphasized with jumps 04:39:991 (4,6) - for the main melody and the 12 jump 12 pattern in which the kiais are a bit based on
- 04:59:607 (2,3) - The distance seems too close because 04:58:453 (3,4,5,6,1) - you have some big jumps, so you may move 04:59:607 (2) - faraway like x48 y240 is better than current one. done
- 05:01:454 (2,3) - Same as above, you can consider move 05:01:454 (2) - to 05:02:146 (4) - slider tail nice done

- 00:29:838 (1,2) - blanket is really off, try to make it similar to 00:30:761 (2,3) - tried with another anchor point hope its alright now
