Here are some suggestions:
1. Get better so you can control your mouse.
2. Switch your grip style. Try claw grip and keep your pinky on the mouse pad for control.
3. Get a new mousepad with high friction.
4. Get a new mouse.
5. Switch to tablet.

Get a mousepad that doesn't feel like ice, maybe a hard surface mousepad.

Or you could join the tablet masterrace

1. Had this problem for quite a lot of time, so since i almost always train for consistency i dont see how i could still improve to solve this problem.
2. Im apparently switching my grip everyday, my setup is really effed up
3. Which ones would you recommend (if you know any)
4. The mouse im using is new (SteelSeries Rival 100)
5. Would like the idea A LOT, although it seems like a waste of money to buy a tablet just for osu.

thanks for the tips btw :D

2. Can't tell I made good experience by constantly changing the setup/style/... Sticking to one playstyle helps me the most.
3. Steelseries QcK. very reliable mouse mat with high friction. I personally prefer low friction and use Corsair Vengeance MM600 (control) so I gave my QcK away.
4. I am a Corsair fanboy so maybe my opinion shouldn't matter too much here. Depending on the task I switch between my M65 (customizable weight) and my Scimitar. The M65 is really comfortable and steady despite low friction.
5. It might turn out to be wasted money since getting used to tablet takes quite some time. But there are affordable tablets like the H420.

Back then, I bought performance-grade teflon feet for my deathadder (because the old feet were gone already), and it was literally on ice when I used it with my hard mousepad.
Here's a reference so I don't get misunderstood again like the other post. http://www.overclock.net/t/1246265/mous ... ft-vs-hard
