  1. there isn't really anything objectively wrong with this difficulty, there are a lot of circles in a row for a relatively high BPM but it is technically a Normal diff and there's literally nothing confusing about it so i don't think there's too much of an issue here Alright, I'll fix this later if needed

These kinds of strings of 1/2 notes are too difficult for this diff level at 170 bpm, using 1/2 sliders in the place of these is generally the way to go in advanced difficulties, i'm not about to point out every string of 1/2 notes in the map but generally using more than 2 to 3 in a row is a nogo, even in incredibly intense sections Reduced, should be better now
  3. this diff also suffers from the same "notes in a row" issue as the normal, but to a lesser extent, i appreciate patterns like 00:37:562 (1,2,1) - and 00:43:209 (1,2,1) - which add some variety but its not enough as of right now Tried to vary it a bit in places
  4. please note that (not in an insulting way but just in a truthful one) while there is nothing objectively wrong with your difficulty in the terms of the ranking criteria, it is incredibly bland which is no fun for the lower player to play. taking note from patterns in other easy diffs, and the extremes of making easy diff's fun like the lower diffs in Hollow Wing's sets i think for the future of your lower diff mapping would be very helpful Yeah, I get this feeling too, will do!

you need a Hard here for the diff spread as the jump between advanced and Insane is too high Waiting on Easy + Hard GDs, so not an issue

  4. 00:38:974 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3) - i can't really tell what streams like this one in the slow section are mapped to, but sometimes it is less fitting to make something clickable depending on the intensity of the song There's sounds in the background... isn't there?
  5. 00:40:563 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this is an example of a WELL chosen rhythm in your song, this fits the sounds perfectly Thanks!
  6. 00:06:503 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this is an example of a poorly chosen rhythm, it doesn't fit the sounds in any sort of fitting way that i can discern Fixed
  7. to use an example, here's the main chorus:
    the most important sounds in the main chorus right off the bat is clearly the CU TIE PANTHER WA TA SHI, which lands on 01:07:209 - 01:07:562 - 01:07:915 - 01:08:268 - 01:08:444 - 01:08:797 - 01:09:150 - respectively: all of these should be clickable or emphasized in some special way, the way you do it is up to you and the other instruments you use as filler rhythm to supplement are also up to you Alright, fixed this and the repeat of it.
  8. another point is consistency: in higher difficulties like this one don't just ignore sounds to make up your own rhythms if you start following something. as an example here is this triple 01:09:680 (4,5,6) - that has a 4th note 01:09:944 - that is just flat out ignored when it is just as loud as the others Didn't even notice that ngl, fixed as well
  9. 01:12:856 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6) - another example of GOOD rhythm choices, this is good it follows the song, your main goal is to follow the song I can sorta do this properly then haha

    as for everything else, after you get the rhythm down you can worry about your patterning and aesthetics but this should give you plenty to work on and go through in this map and all of your maps for the future Thanks!

00:06:855 (3,4,5) - everything seems to be distance snapped until this. I also don't particularly hear any emphasis in the music to justify higher spacing, so consider keeping it consistent

00:08:268 (3,4,5) - ^

00:11:268 (1) - Why NC?

00:12:856 (4,5) - The different shapes but different pointing directions seems pretty unaesthetic. Maybe try having them be the same shape

00:15:857 (6) - Here, both the head and tails are emphasized but its a slider. 00:17:269 (6,7) - here, its the same emphasis, but its two clickable objects. In my opinion the second one fits much more than the first, so consider modifying it

00:20:622 (1,2,3) - Why is this a triple? I don't really hear anything in the music that would warrant this. Maybe you are mapping to held vocal? but even then, I think a single circle works and plays much better than this

00:22:739 (4,5,6) - Same here. Consider getting rid of the triple

00:27:680 (1) - Vocals start on slider end? Maybe make that clickable instead. 00:28:033 (2) - Same here. I would just do a rhythm like this

00:33:327 (1,2,3) - Spacing here is so small compared to 00:34:210 (3,4) - , where there is no sound worth mentioning on 4. Consider spacing emphasis on insanes

The first syllable of the first sequence starts 01:00:151 (1) - here and the 3 note sequence is made up of 01:00:151 (1,2,3) - these three. However, the first syllable of the second sequence is 01:00:857 (5) - here, and the second sequence is made up of 01:00:857 (5,6,7) - , when according to your pattern, it should be 01:00:680 (4,5,6) - to be the same notes.

01:09:680 (4,5,6,7,1) - Fix stream shape

Like the others suggested, I recommend watching pishifat's videos again just to get a better grasp on flow and emphasis.

00:31:915 (1,2) - I don't see the reasoning behind such a small spacing here. If you're trying to create emphasis, maybe stack 1 and 2 instead to make it slightly harder to read? Just my opinion
00:33:327 (1,2) - This could look a little better
00:34:562 (1,2,3,4) - I think the whistle might be a little overpowering perhaps whistle only on the slider head and maybe a finish on the slider end? (Something along those lines)

I will focus on your Normal diff for now ~

General points
  1. Combo Lengths: I definitely think combo lengths could do with increasing. A lot of sections have combo lengths of 2 which is very low, even for the lowest diff. Try 1 NC every 2 measures
  2. Rhythm: With almost every white tick mapped and somewhat monotonous it comes off as somewhat stale. Also because this is a normal don't be afraid to include some 1/2 beats where they fit, for example some places such as 01:11:444 (1) can be made into http://puu.sh/vu1rq/6b0f1960d4.jpg It follows the vocals and adds an extra something that keeps the players engaged; of course if you choose to do this you will have to incorperate it in the other similar and more appropiate places in your map as well. I'll give you some more examples so you're left too much in the dark 00:48:150 (3) can be turned into http://puu.sh/vu2OE/886c4b903b.jpg and 00:41:444 (2) can be made into http://puu.sh/vu39e/2532deb3eb.jpg and finally 00:31:209 (2) can be made into http://puu.sh/vu3gs/3ddbbf2bf5.jpg
    What I said earlier about the rhythm and it being monotonous I feel like you could incorporate long 2/1 sliders to follow long held vocals, again this follow the song as well as break up the monotony. For example 01:18:503 (1) and 01:07:209 (1) (these ones are 50/50) & the ones at 01:14:268 (1) . But yh, I think this diff could benefit a lot with mapping to the vocals (as a means to emphasize) in places where appropriate.
  3. Hitsounding: I was supposed to do this on your other map but I guess I'll do it here :V. So the whole purpose of hitsounding is to give feedback, but not just any feedback, feedback fitting to your rhythm, so that players aren't thrown off. With that said I think I can then move on to say placing hitsounds on the entire slider body is a bad way to go in 99% of the time. I'm talking about places such as 00:36:150 (1) where you've put the whistle on slider body, it's very jarring, and tbh can be quite annoying for some players. It's better to put the hitsound on the slider head itself http://puu.sh/vu2F7/51adf7d7f7.png as you only need to give feedback to the player on the slider head as that's what their clicking to, everything else is almost irrelevant.

Hitsounding kinda off atm seems a bit randomly placed, you got a single clap here 00:05:091 (4) - for the intro that seems to be the only one of its kinda though theres nothing in particular going on with the song there, check the heads of these for an instand 00:06:503 (1,4,1) - you got some soft snares joining in the music so why not put claps on those instead for feedback. Bit same for regular finishes like at 00:14:974 (1) - and 00:31:915 (1) - finish should be on head since thats where the cymbals are
  2. 00:09:327 (1,2) - breaking the every 2 downbeats NC thingy here
  3. 00:13:210 (1) - wouldn't make the downbeat unclickable here, new segment in the music starts + start of tha drumroll something like circle + slider would be good
  4. 00:40:385 (1,2,3,4,5) - bit weird rythm here, mapping all the the vocals in 5 suddenly when skipping alot in the rest even though the intensity of the vocals is the same same for these 2 stanzas[

  1. 00:14:974 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - I kinda feel like your trying to follow too much here wich makes for unintuitive rythm thats plays a bit too 'random' I'd focus more on a main thing you want to follow and stick to it for a while like here for example 00:15:150 - only skipped vocal for these connected parts 00:14:974 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5) - in the song and 00:16:385 (1) - vs 00:17:797 - one prioritizes the vocal more one tho the music is similar and you have this weird switch here for following the non vocals instruments at 00:17:974 (1,2) - If you gonna make a switch like that I'd start it on the downbeat since thats where the instrument starts to change
  2. 00:26:268 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - kinda similar as above ^ music repeats its stanza tho when you decide to follow which vocals seems a bit random to me 00:27:503 - and 00:27:856 - are pretty strong vocals here that are skipped for instance with ending and starting of new sentences, something like this rythm wise would fit the music a lot better imo
  3. 00:48:856 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - yeah definitly change this in normal diff if you haven't, normal having a denser rythm than advanced is really bad
  4. 01:02:974 (1,2) - why not change this into 2 1/2 sliders after eachother so you don't skip any vocals here, return + circle fits aswell if you want to emphasize the 'WA' vocal thingy
  5. 01:08:621 (1) - seems like your trying to follow too much again at a time, why not try to prioritze the vocals here by changing 01:08:444 (4,1,2) - into 2 1/2 sliders for instance similarish for 01:11:091 (3,1,2) -
Aight gl man, main thing for lower diffs i'd say is to try to prioritize an intstrument/vocals and stick to it for a while before changing rhythm so the newbie players can have some sort of expected rhythm while playing similar parts in the song since its only a normal and hard diff and leave the tricky rythm stuff for insane+ diffs

Alright, I believe I've fixed the issues in Advanced (along with remapping it using some guidance from Endaris), so that should be good now.

For Normal, Kisses is going to be replacing my diff, so I'll ignore the points raised for that for this diff, but thank you for your help, I'll bear them in mind in the future.

The storyboard I will fix when I have time to do so beside exams, so probably sometime at the end of this month. unused files should be removed now

So tldr I suggest making this slider the same as 00:04:032 (2) - (also the red tick does not have any dominant sound so I think it's better to not map it)
  3. 00:32:974 (2,3) - Maybe it's just me or this overlap is kind of awkward because I know 00:30:503 (4,5,1) - is overlapped since they are following DS and is an offbeat on the red tick (vocal if you don't understand) , but 00:32:974 (2,3) - is rhymed and mapped in 1/1 rhythm, but is overlapped, which makes it awkward from other section
  4. 00:55:738 (4,5,6,1) - maybe zigzag?
  5. 01:02:621 (4) - Normal sampleset?

Using the same DS won't help much to reflect the song which had higher pitching. ok, i've spaced these out a little from the ones before

  12. 01:26:268 (3) - I'm not sure why sudden change of flow on a rather normal section
for the rest, im not entirely sure what to alter, but i'll keep them in mind
