Bueno, acá va mi primer mod de STD. No tengo mucha experiencia ni siquiera jugándolo, pero como prometí M4M voy a hacer el intento :P.

  • Easy
1) 00:29:220 - De acuerdo al ranking criteria, los cambios de velocidad de slider pueden ser aplicados únicamente cuando hay un cambio notorio en el ritmo. Se me hace un poco brusco que arranque en la mitad de un combo (y en un slider de 1/1) para una dificultad Easy. Tampoco veo muy necesario el cambio dado que no hay una variación importante en el ritmo durante toda la canción. Mi sugerencia sería borrar los cambios de velocidad en esta dificultad (claro que podés ignorarla).

2) 00:54:155 - Creo que acá podés poner un spinner, obviamente cambiando este objeto 00:52:207 (2) - por dos sliders de 1/1 o fijandote una manera que resulte cómodo para un principiante. Obviamente queda a tu elección c:

3) Nuevamente volviendo al tema de la vel. del deslizador, desconozco la razón de por qué el 90% del mapa tiene la velocidad en 1.20x, pero lo veo innecesario y más para una easy. En caso que 1.0x te resulte demasiado lento, quizás en vez de recurrir a inherited points puedas directamente subir la velocidad del deslizador general (aunque no estoy seguro de si haya una regla sobre eso, como un numero máximo o algo por el estilo).

  • Normal
1) De acuerdo al ranking criteria, el OD en dificultad Normal debe estar entre 3 y 5. Y el de esta dificultad es 6.

2) 00:51:038 (1,2,3) - Ok, esto me parece un poco inapropiado. Nuevamente citando el ranking criteria, en dificultad normal hay que evitar colocar objetos a 1/2 de distancia de un slider. "Los jugadores en este nivel siguen completamente las rutas de los sliders, por lo que colocar un objeto golpeado directamente después del control del slider es más intuitivo"; y acá pusiste 3 objetos seguidos a 1/2, lo cual es un poco complicado para ser Normal...

3) Lo mismo que el punto 2) acá 00:54:155 (1,1,1) -

4) 01:10:518 (2,1) - Esto puede ser confuso para los principiantes de acuerdo al ranking criteria, sugeriría que evites sobreponer circles encima de sliders.

5) 01:15:583 (3,4,5) - Bueno, acá no se si sea necesario aclarar acá y en los próximos patrones de 1/2. Igualmente no sé mucho sobre este modo, así que podría estar equivocándome al decir que son inapropiados :thinking:. Así que, lo dejo a tu criterio.

La verdad no puedo decir mucho de esta dificultad, pienso que está muy bien. Así que sólo me voy a limitar a decir un par de cositas:

1) Imagino que la dificultad sería lo equivalente a Hard. Según el ranking criteria hay que evitar mezclar ritmos de 1/2 y 1/4 en un mismo combo, "los diferentes ritmos de esta densidad sin indicación de espaciado pueden causar problemas de lectura"

2) 00:31:947 (6) - Este slider está 1 beat más largo de lo que debería. Termina acá 00:32:142 - . Ocurre lo mismo acá 00:38:181 (6) -

I'm pretty disappointed in the movements, because it's a "Hard" difficulty, which doesn't have a lot of speed or spacing, this could be forgiven, however I would love to see this mapped in a more fluent way, for example, skipping 00:22:986 (6,7) - 00:24:544 (2,3) - the cursor walking in favor of something that flows better. You could also work a lot more on your aesthetics, for instance, using more consistent slider shapes and stacking objects instead of overlapping, as well as exploring different distances to emphasize sounds in the song.
Also, helpful advice, try and keep new combos under 9-8 :)

  1. I would love to see all your diffs start at this point 00:05:454 - with spinners, the sound on that point and the simular sounds that follows are perfect for spinners.
  2. 00:24:934 (4) - Try and avoid hitsounding when there's no sound in the song to emphasise, same goes if the sound in the song doesn't even exist/match the hitsound.
  3. 00:27:272 (1,2) - This is, bad, for aesthetics, to say the least. Try and think of overlaps like this:
    Overlaps does not mean bad.
    Alot of overlaps or severe overlaps does mean bad.
    Overlaps can always be avoided and should always be avoided if possible.
    Same goes for most other overlaps I see in this diff.
  4. 00:29:025 - You missed a pretty important sound in favor of emphasizing the vocals, which is something that should be avoided whenever possible as well. You could, for example, make 00:28:830 (4) - into a 1/2 slider and putting a repeat arrow on it, that way it covers the drums as well as emphasize the vocals.
  5. 00:30:778 (2,3) - Here you focus on vocals yet here 00:32:337 (7) - You skip them entirely (notice the red tick on 00:32:531 - )
    Also, 00:31:947 (6,7) - since you have never used 1/4 timegaps up to that point, you should make it more obvious to the player that there will be a 1/4 timegap (i.e make for example 00:32:337 (7) - stand out more, or have it stacked under 00:31:947 (6) - , or do the same thing you did on 00:38:181 (6,7) - )
  6. 00:33:311 (10,11,1) - This could be emphasized by moving it further away, making the sound stand out more, however since it has the tripple stacked on it this is fine.
  7. HOWEVER! These two 00:34:869 (3,4) - are on top of pretty important stand-out drum sounds, and because they don't have a tripple on them I suggest moving them further away to give a much clearer emphasis to the drum sound.
    Same goes for 00:37:791 (5) - and many more instances
  8. 00:38:960 (8,9,10,11,12) - This takes me back to what I wrote in "General", try and think of things that actually flow, because cursor walking is not flow.
    If I'm going to use more simple terminology, use sharper angles between objects, 00:38:960 (8) - currently has a very VERY wide angle, around 130 degrees if I should estimate. Keeping angles between objects under 90 degrees not only looks pleasing but also plays more fluently.
    Because I wrote it in General it means I see this problem alot, this was just one example, and this is just my opinion. Keep in mind the rules I stated above are not as important for "Hards, normals and easy" because of these low SR's very limited speed and movement.
  9. 00:52:012 (11,12,1) - This tripple/double whatever you want to call it, is unwarranted, it feels like it's mapped on top of nothing.
  10. 00:53:765 (1,2) - Bodies imply counter intuative movement.
  11. 00:54:934 (3) - 01:19:674 (9) - Why not use a stream here, or a tripple, or anyhing like you did previously?
  12. 01:07:402 (4,5,6,1) - The tripple on 4,5,6 leads very poorly into the slider 1.
  13. 01:08:960 (4,7) - 01:21:817 (5,8) - reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee stack plz
  14. 01:10:518 - Once again an important sound missed, already explained earlier in the mod so wont go into detail again
  15. 01:32:337 (3,4,5,6,1) - ReeeeeeeeeeeEEEEE Now you use stacks and you didn't earlier?

1) When opening the map, there was an error with the video; it seems like it is not added properly. Please fix.

Top Diff
Rhythm seems fine, so I will be focusing on the aesthetic portion of the map.
1) 00:19:479 (5) - The wave slider looks uneven. Please fix.
2) 00:22:596 (5,6,7,8) - The pattern looks uneven due to the visual spacing. Tidy it up so it looks like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9404321
3) 00:28:830 (4,5,6) - Here the music starts to build up a bit. To reflect that, you can increase the distance between 4 and 5 (say 1.3-1.4x apart).
4) 00:37:402 (4,5,6,7) - This part looks very clumsy; the distance between the notes varies quite a bit, and 6 and 7 are way too close.
5) 00:48:116 (8,9) - If you were trying to create a blanket, it is very off. Please fix if that is the case.
6) 00:49:479 (2) - Again the wave slider looks uneven.
7) 01:06:233 (1,2,3) - The music does build up a bit, so you can try and reflect it by making the distance between each successive slider a little bit bigger if you want.
8) 01:07:791 (1,2,3) - Why is the distance between 1 and 2, and 2 and 3 different when there is no obvious change in the music? Please make the distance consistent.
9) 01:08:570 (3,4) - Make the sliders the same shape; it looks better that way.
10) 01:09:739 (7) - Stack this underneath 01:08:960 (4) properly; as it is 7 is not stacked neatly, so it looks bad that way.

The rhythm is fine but the map looks very clumsy. Spend some time making the map a lot more neat.

  2. 00:26:298 (2,3,1) - again, this rhythm doesn't rrepresent vocal well, something like this should work
  3. 00:27:272 (1,2) - make this overlap cleaner? something like this
  4. 00:28:635 (3,4,5,6,1) - music in this section changes DRASTICALLY, but maps feels the same. you really should represent change in music by making this section more intense so it gives the same feeling as the music (some circles, mini-jumps, anything that makes contrast with previous section would work)
  5. 00:33:116 (9,1) - swap ncs? didn't quite get why they are like this
  6. 00:38:181 (6,7) - you should not place object so close to each other because it doesn't fit with overall style of the map
  7. 00:52:109 (12) - why this note here?
  8. 00:54:934 (3) - mostly personal preference, but how about 5 notes here instead of slider?
  9. 00:55:324 - why did you decide to end break earlier? o.o

  13. also generally i'd suggest adjusting spacing so maps looks neater. Try to keep you objects within the same distance between each other, it really does a lot of work for visual aspect

July San you should prioritize responding to mods when you receive them, not only is it bad form to leave them be but also without responding to mods and fixing their problems, alot of people just run the risk of repeating the same stuff.

I think this map needs more spinners! Bcs these spinners gonna fit vocal perfect also you will evade breaks and empty unmapped places. (Also ranking criteria says you should have 80%+ track space mapped)

Here my spinner offers:
1) start spinner at 00:05:454 (1) - end here-> 00:10:129 -
2) start 00:11:687 - end 00:16:363 -
3) start 00:55:421 - end 00:59:999 -
4) start 01:01:363 - end 01:04:674 -
I hope you will add them.Dont forget put spinners in low diffs after.

00:33:116 (9) - i think you should stack this with 00:33:895 (2) - . Bcs for me this move seems excess in diff (i mean he is only one in all diff )
00:22:207 (4) - nc

00:17:921 (1,2) - in low diffs object should have perfect flow for newbies! This pattern have too sharp angle also sliders dont have way for good flow...
00:19:479 (3,1) - for example here it seems awfull.
00:28:830 (1,2,3,4) - its too...
Okay this Normal diff should be remapped bcs you ignoring too many ranking criteria..
I recommend you to take look another ranked low diffs also read ranking criteria, guide and advances in forum for gitgud
For example: Press Ctrl+A . Your objects MUST cover all playfield (at least ~90%)

Same issues like in" Normal". You need remap this diff .
Top diff seems good but you need to do a lot of things in low diffs. GL you can do it!
