00:01:415 (1) - feels just slightly awkward to play at first, could maybe rotate up 45 degrees

00:47:259 This should be the start of the slider to emphasize the sound that comes after the loud instrumentals

01:32:446 (2) - Maybe this could be moved left slightly by to either x152/x160? Test this out, im not sure if it would flow better but I think it emphasizes the sound better w/ more spacing than the streams previously

01:43:508 (1,2) - the distance between these two notes feels very far and sudden, I would either reduce the spacing or ctrl-g the slider and make adjustments to the following sections

02:13:509 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - this section feels way too hard and unexpected for the end of this song, considering the kiai in the midsection is much easier in terms of difficulty than this section. Change the patterns completely or make them friendlier to play

02:26:821 (1,2) - these notes dont need to be mapped, just end the map at the end of the previous spinner, the moaning sound at the end is insignificant, or just place a singular note to represent that sound similar to spectator's Alice diff

modding top diff myself since I think some of the issues I can point out from the top of my head were not addressed in any of the mods it received thus far

  • 00:30:196 (2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This whole section was overmapped af in crystal's old extra diff and it's overmapped here as well, and for all the wrong reasons too. Not even spector-dg's mania topdiff's section is as overmapped as this one, and that's saying a lot. But enough comparisons, I'll get straight to the point: This section is also really, really overemphasized compared to more intense sections such as 00:19:509 - . When comparing the two together, the song says one thing but the map says the complete opposite, giving more emphasis to the second section than the more intense first section. So yeah, taking those two things into account, I'll give a few examples of where you went complete bonkers with the emphasis/overmapping so that you can either do a relatively big overhaul of this section's patterns or directly remap it as a whole.

  1. Starting from 00:30:009 - here 00:31:134 - up until here the only 1/4 sound that can be heard with a bit of difficulty is 00:30:477 - , but that's it. All 00:30:196 (2,3,1,2) - these 1/4 sliders are clearly overmapped without a clear reason since, as stated earlier, the section is noticeably calmer than the previous one and does not fit at all.
  2. The only clear 1/4 sounds from 00:31:134 - until 00:32:259 - are 00:31:227 - and 00:31:415 - so 00:31:696 (2,3,4) - these should be deleted and turned into 1/2 note formations instead.
  3. 00:33:009 - from here until 00:33:759 - here there are no clearly audible 1/4 sounds either, so 00:33:290 (2,4,6) - these should be deleted.
  4. 00:34:134 (3,4) - These should either be two circles or one 1/2 slider.
  5. 00:35:821 (4) - Ironically, this slider's distance from the previous note is really underemphasizing the high-pitched piano note it's covering. Perhaps it was something you forgot, since you can easily fix it by ctrl+h'ing both the slider and, if you don't wanna repattern the next 1/6 notes so that it connects properly, the rest of the map as well.
00:37:509 - From this section until 00:47:071 - the slider velocity is a bit too low and it makes the player need to stutter with the keys to catch the sliders's bodies properly without overshooting them, which is pretty offputting and uncomfortable IMO (Remarkably so with hyperdashes such as 00:44:196 (4,5) - these). I think you're better off just using 1x slider velocity up until 00:48:009 - here, place in which you can use 1,05x SV to make a fluid transition for the next section of the song (01:00:009 - )00:53:071 (2,3) - The distance between these two is a bit too much? I know you're trying to emphasize the strong vocal but either go for a straight-out hyper or try to make it a more lenient dash.01:16:696 (2,3,4) - Really overshootable, I suggest to make these a completely straight horizontal line formation pointing to the left instead.01:40:509 (1,2,3) - These shouldn't have hyperdashes in between each other, while 01:41:071 (4,5,6) - these should, since when comparing both three object formations, the latter is stronger than the former regarding sound intensity and pitch (and noticeably so). Right now the emphasis is given to objects in a wrong way for the sake of a pattern that even though it plays normally it expresses the strength of the sounds in the background wrongly.01:48:571 (2) - no sound here, remove note.

  2. 00:36:696 (6,1) - No need to be a cross-screen jump? I understand your intention but it seems to be too much for me
  3. 00:49:509 - to 00:57:009 - not only 1/4 jumps are worth being HDashes. Now you'd like to add HDash on such small emphasis (00:44:071 (2,3,4,5) - ) but refuse to do any emphasis on any of 1/2 jumps in the section I quote. It's unreasonable. You need to make sure that your distance arrangement corresponds to the music instead of only rhythm gaps.
  4. 01:00:009 - to 01:11:071 - , especially something like 01:05:634 (4,1) - , really need something other than general-distance jumps. You easily set HDashes on some overmapped 1/4 rhythms 01:11:259 (3,4,5,6) - after all.
  5. 02:13:134 (4,5,1,2,3,4) - this antiflow is highly unexpected. I don't see the intention to make 02:13:509 (1,2,3,4) - a strong dash chain right after a strong HDash on 02:13:321 (5,1) - , which increases the operation difficulty here to a level that doesn't fit the music. Music here is clearly going outro. Just decrease the distance of the whole dash chain. Same as 02:15:009 (1,2,3,4) -
  6. 01:31:134 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - make HDash distance increasing to fit the music more properly. Ofc, you should 01:31:134 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - make HDash on these jumps a bit shorter to achieve it.
  7. 01:36:571 (4,5,6) - Drums here are obviously heavier than 01:36:009 (1,2,3) - . So you should use something else stronger to make a difference.


Still the whole diff's speaking too strongly on rhythm gaps no longer than 1/4 beats in intro/outro imo. Probably need review beforehand.

  1. 00:05:634 (2) - I'd move this a couple gridpsaces to the right to reduce the distance to the surrounding objects, considering the pattern involves two direction changes. Similar stuff for 00:10:134 (2) -.
  2. 00:26:634 (3,1) - This distance felt a bit tight for me, considering the previous 1/2 stream takes you to the left and you're required to change direction. Maybe you can move 00:27:009 (1,2) - to x:308?
  3. 00:37:509 (1,2,3) - The two direction changes didn't quite fit IMO; I'd prefer you'd do something that flowed a bit more like 00:43:509 (1,2,1) - . One option would be to Ctrl+H 00:38:634 (2,3,4) - and move it a bit to the left.
  4. 00:46:509 (1) - I'd prefer if you slanted this a bit to reduce the horizontal movement it involves a bit.
  5. 00:56:259 (2) - I know you have the whistle because of the vocals, but it feels weird not keeping the the trend of using a drum clap.
  6. 01:00:009 (1) - I'd make this one a bit more vertical, in order to give the movement to this a bit more leniency.
  7. 01:03:009 (1,2) - This distance feels a bit large IMO. I think moving 01:04:321 (2,3,4) - to x:376 would make it slightly better.
  8. 01:12:571 (2,2) - I'd make these two more vertical, maybe like 01:13:321 (1) -. It feels weird that those two require a bit more movement when all the sounds are roughly the same.
  9. 01:20:259 (2,3,1) - I think this movement is a bit complicated. I would stack them more by making the slider more vertical and also moving (3) towards (1).
  10. 01:24:759 (3) - I'd move this note a bit to the right, around x:116 or 120, to make the 1/2 direction change a bit easier.
  11. 01:33:009 (1,2) - Somehow it feels a bit tight. Maybe you can move (2) to x:416 or so.
  12. 01:39:946 (2,3,4,1) - I'd reduce the distances a bit considering it's two direction changes at 1/2 snap that are really close.
  13. 02:18:009 (1) - I'd abstain from using a horizontal slider at this point, considering the song has calmed down, so I'd slant it a bit to give it less horizontal movement. Same for 02:19:509 (1) - .
  14. 02:21:759 (2) - This one also has parts that are nearly horizontal, which feels like too much movement. I'd make the slider rounder so it has a bit less horizontal movement.


[Salad]
  1. 00:07:509 (1,2,3) - I think you missed a good chance to add a bit of emphasis to (3). If you delete (2), you can make a larger 1/1 walk between (1,3) instead, which IMO gives it more emphasis. You Ctrl+G 00:07:884 (2) - and then Ctrl+H 00:09:009 (1,2,1) -, which will also help with the next issue.
  2. 00:10:509 (1,2) - Pretty much the only 1/2 dash you've used in the intro, it feels out of place. I'd just make it a walk. If you did what I suggested in the previous point, both notes should be really stacked, and it's just a matter of adjusting (2) a bit.
  3. 00:26:071 (2,3,4,5) - I'd reduce the distance between these a bit, just so the following dash is a bit easier to catch.
  4. 00:42:009 (1) - I'd slant this note a bit in order to reduce the distance to the next object. The pattern is a bit tricky for a Salad.
  5. 00:47:259 (2,3,1) - I'd reduce the distances a bit, while keeping the dashes, to add some leniency. x:416 for (3) felt nice.
  6. 00:51:759 (2,1,2) - I'd take both 1/2 dashes out by moving (1) to the left. Considering it's a diff to introduce dashes, I'd keep 1/2 dashes (which are, after 1/3, the highest snapped dashes allowed on the diff) to most intense parts, i.e. Kiai. Same comment for the section at 02:04:509 -.
  7. 01:00:009 - For the section starting here, I'm not so sure about the 1/2 dashes. The same reasoning as the previous point applies, and also you're basing them on a hitsound you added. I took the sliders out to hear the song and the sounds on those places you added dashes aren't stronger than those, for example, on the big white ticks. In any case, antiflow ones like 01:06:009 (1,2) - are not okay for a diff that's meant to introduce dashes, IMO, and neither is 01:16:321 (3,1) -
  8. 01:18:009 (1,2,3) - I'd put these slightly closer to add some leniency to the walk after the dash. Similar stuff on 01:30:009 (1,2,3) -.
  9. 01:20:259 (5,6) - You need to reduce this distance. The walk back to that is really tight, so if players overshoot the previous dash they will probably miss it. Similar stuff for 01:32:259 (5,6,1) -.
  10. 01:21:759 (5) - I'd move this slightly closer to the surrounding objects, let's say x:92, to add some leniency to the movement.
  11. 01:29:071 (4,5) - Antiflow after one of the highest dashes the diff allows is a bit questionable. I'd try to do something different.
  12. 01:56:259 (2,1,2) - I'd make these walkable instead to reserve 1/2 dashes to the most intense parts. In any case, 01:57:759 (2,3) - needs to get reduce to add leniency to the movement after the dash.


[Platter]
  1. 00:21:009 (3,4) - Why does this one have a dash while 00:19:509 (1,2) - doesn't? The sounds are the same, the hitsounding is the same. I'd make 00:21:009 (3,4) - a walk for consistency. Same stuff for 00:24:384 (2,3) -.
  2. 00:25:134 (6,1) - This one could have a larger distance for a more intense dash. You have a finish hitsound on (1) after all.
  3. 00:27:384 (2,3) - 00:28:884 (2,3) - Similar to something I mentioned in the Salad, you're adding HDashes to strong sounds that are there just because of your hitsounding and that in the song aren't actually that strong. Also, these two HDashes are inconsistent with 00:26:071 (3,1) - because those are the same sounds and that one doesn't have an HDash.
  4. 00:30:009 (1,2) - I wouldn't have this as a dash, tbh. It's inconsistent with 00:31:884 (2) -, and it's also another sound that's only strong because of your hitsounding.
  5. 00:30:759 (3,4,5) - I think it's worth considering adding a dash between (3,4) instead of (4,5) given the piano sounds.
  6. 00:31:884 (2,3) - I think a dash would be fitting here. It's a downbeat with strong sounds on it.
  7. 00:37:509 (1,2) - The sound at (2) is quite weak, so I'd move stuff so the distance is actually walkable.
  8. 00:50:071 (2,3) - This should have a dash for consistency. You've done it for 00:48:384 (5,6) -, 00:51:571 (2,3) - and others.
  9. 01:06:759 (2,1) - Okay, I think I can get Ascendance and MBomb to agree that this one is antiflow. This is currently unrankable, and so is 02:11:259 (2,1) -
  10. 01:19:509 (1,2) - I'm not so sure I'd keep a dash here. If you want to keep it as a dash, though, I suggest reducing it, as even stronger sounds (01:23:259 (1,2) - ) don't have a dash as strong as this one.
  11. 01:30:009 (1,2) - I don't get the dash between these. I'd just make it a walk because there isn't a strong sound at (2).

  3. I'd reduce the spacing on 00:46:977 (2,3,4) - and 00:47:727 (6,7,8) - a tiny bit, considering we're still in a calm section.
  4. 00:52:884 (2,3,4) - These dashes also feel a bit tight, so I recommend moving (3) to x:448.
  5. 01:18:759 (5,6,7,8) - I do not hear any in particular in the song that signals or supports dashes a pattern like this. Particularly, 01:18:946 (6) - can be removed completely, and the pattern becomes way more playable without it.

  1. 00:30:009 (1,2) - I'd reduce this distance a bit to add more leniency to the movement after the HDash. The sound at the red tick is rather weak.
  2. 01:19:884 (6,1) - The HDash here is totally uncalled for, as the sound on the red tick isn't strong.
  3. 01:28:134 (3,1) - The sound at the white tick is quite strong, so this distance is really underwhelming. An HDash to it would be really fitting.
  4. 01:32:196 (6,1,2) - The great contrast between the strength of both HDashes make the 2nd one a bit underwhelming. I suggest moving 01:32:071 (4,5,6) - a bit to the right to reduce the intensity of the first one while keeping the 2nd one intact.
  5. 01:34:134 (3,4,5,6,7,8) - You have to reduce the distance between this triplets. It's the strongest HDash by far in this section while the sound is not the strongest one, so its intensity feels out of place.
  6. 01:36:009 (1) - Having this as a 1/4 slider is overmapping it, as there's no sound on the blue tick. Replace it with a circle instead. Similar stuff on 01:37:321 (2) -, and this one is also burying a strong sound on the white tick in a slider tail. There's also no sound at the blue tick within 01:37:696 (3) -. The blue tick on 01:39:009 (1) - is also overmapped.
  7. 01:41:071 (4,5,6) - I'd move this a bit to the right to reduce the strength of the HDashes around this. The song is clearly decreasing in intensity by this part.
  8. 01:43:134 (6,7,8,9) - The HDash here should be to the big white tick, as that's the strongest sound.
  9. 01:46:415 (8,1) - I'd reduce the distance here to reduce the strength. It's an overall calm section so this feels a bit large.
  10. 01:46:509 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2) - The 1/2 dashes feel a bit large for a calm section like this, so I'd reduce their distance a bit.
  11. 01:49:321 (2,1) - The HDash here isn't really fitting, as it's a calm section. I'd reduce it to a normal dash.
  12. 01:50:821 (12) - The 1/4 HDash this creates doesn't fit the section. I'd replace it with a circle instead and have a 1/2 dash.
