Long time I don't see dramas around this guy, so here we go...



General

  1. 00:12:834 - 00:14:434 - 00:16:034 - 00:17:634 - ( all diffs except Evanesce ) don't you want to add some whistles at this section as u did on Evanesce? try to check your hitsounds one more time if u have time or remove all hitsounds and copy again from the highest diff, up to you bro.
  2. why copy did you copy Combo Colours from monstrata's set if you have another BG?
  3. Widescreen Support doesn't matter but I'll suggest you to be constant, uncheck on Caliscendance's Light Rain and Cup please, it won't take a lot of time.
  4. why green line at 00:00:034 - if you won't change any settings?

Cup

  1. 00:06:434 (1,2,3) - the current transition between such objects scared me cause is like a "z" and newbies don't have enough reaction to control the plate and do this kind movements.
  2. 00:11:234 (3,4) - reduce this distance cause you have a strong movement on 00:12:434 (4,1) -, keep using 1.00x or less of distance as u were doing on previous parts like 00:01:634 (2,3) - 00:06:434 (1,2) - etc.
  3. 00:25:634 (1,2) - omg isn't it too much for newcomers? reduce the distance a bit please, I didn't see a similar distance throughout the whole diff, furthermore 00:25:634 - is stronger than 00:27:234 - but 00:25:634 (1,2) - have more distance? shouldn't be this around 1.00x as u did on 00:32:034 (1,2) - ?
  4. 00:32:034 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - don't you want to break this combo?
  5. 00:54:434 (1,2,3) - and 01:04:034 (1,2,3) - I feel the same as above but this parts are more important imo, for example 01:04:034 (1,2) - is a sudden transition from right to left with a considerable distance and then you should return to the right to catch 01:05:234 (3) -, this definitively will be a topic of DQ from people who enjoy drama, try to do something please

    I'm not agree with the visual of this cup, for example 00:04:834 (3,4) - ( no consistency with previous parts ), or 00:10:834 (2,3) - ( such vertical sliders kill the movement of the catcher, and in my opinion the catcher shouldn't stop cause is the main difference between a std convert diff and a specific ctb difficulty, obviously there are exceptions only when the song needs it but this is not the case imo ), but this is only my taste and not a reason to don't rank a map as I told to another BN, that's why I'm pointing out only general movements.

  1. 00:31:234 (3,4) - I don't think that this hyperdash is needed, but you could enphasize the beginning of the second half of this section ( 00:32:034 - ), so I recommend you to change 00:31:634 (4) - into an 1/2 slider w/o hyperdash and add a hyperdash between 00:31:834 - and 00:32:034 - .
  2. 00:47:234 (3,4) - remove the current hyperdash here, first of all cause two consecutives hyperdashes in a row at a Platter diff could be overdone, also there isn't a strong sound that support this kind of jump.
  3. 00:57:434 (5,1) - ayy nope, the distance is too long compared to 01:10:034 (4,1) -, also looks unsightly tbh, it's better if you change 00:57:634 (1,2) - into reverse or if 00:57:834 (2) - goes to the left of 00:57:634 (1) -, up to you bro.
  4. 01:14:834 (4,1) - add a jump here, the sound of 01:15:234 - is similar to 00:57:634 - 01:00:834 - 01:13:634 - etc.

    I like some quality patterns but I don't know what happen at parts like 01:09:634 (3,4,1,2) -, there is nothing wrong but the current sliders feels in random position, for example 01:09:634 (3,4) - don't have any relation and 01:10:434 (1,2) - ... same I can't find the relation between them, but well, is only my taste, the rest is fine.

Caliscendance's Light Rain

  1. 00:06:034 (5,1) - I know is probably the calmest part of the song but the sound at 00:06:434 - deserve a hyperdash imo, to keep consistency with 00:18:834 (3,1) -
  2. 00:10:834 (3) - reverse? mmm I was expecting a jump or at least a movement at 00:11:234 -
  3. 00:22:434 (5) - two options, first, remove and start spin here as you did on other difficulties, second, remove hyperdash between 00:22:034 (4,5) -, this diff was created to improve the spread, so avoid unnecessary hyperdashes that will break the gap between light rain and evanesce
  4. from 00:25:634 - to 00:38:434 - I don't understand what are you following with hyperdashes tbh, I recommend you to remove the current hyperdash between 00:27:834 (4,5) -, I'm curious about how Evanesce didn't enphasize this kind of vocal pitches while this diff did and light rain was made to improve the spread, change 00:28:034 (5) - into note and add an 1/2 slider from 00:28:434 - to 00:28:634 -, remenber that there should be a hyperdash between 00:28:634 - and 00:28:834 - as u did on 00:34:434 (5,6,1) -

  2. 00:27:034 (6,1) - as a top diff I don't see a logical reason to miss a hyperdash here.
  3. 00:33:234 (4,1) - same here, also I'm starting to think about what did u tried to do cause the previous suggestion and this one are keeping consistency but if you wanna keep your current distance I think that you should remove the hyperdash between 00:30:034 (4,1) - too for consistency, and this diff should be harder than light rain.
  4. 00:36:634 - did u miss a note here, right? also the current structure drives me crazy, 00:36:234 (3) - should be at 00:36:434 -, then add a note at 00:36:234 - please, don't forget the hyperdash with 00:36:834 (1) - too.
  5. from 01:01:634 - to 01:01:934 - try to change it into 1/4 without hyperdash between 01:01:934 - and 01:02:034 - if it's possible.
  6. 01:14:434 (4,5) - 1/4 is very noticeable here too keep a general pattern trhoughout the whole diff also for spread with Light Rain.

I tried to fix some of this, but because the rhythm is already pretty challenging for a cup (my fault T_T) I tried to limit some movements a bit.

The light rain doesn't share the 1/4 in that first section you pointed out, so I left out the 1/4 additive, but in the second part, the light rain was indeed more dense, so I added a 1/4 triplet.

While this in qaulifed section and its my very first time as I see this map I want to give you some feedback about Evanesce diff.

Firstly I have to agree with Enchant. Instead mapping unhearable sounds (those pointed by Enchant) you could go into some 1/8 triplets like here 00:44:434 -

Some other suggestions on last diff:

- 00:31:234 (3) - slider feels underpatterned, vocals calls for some movement :P

- 00:32:834 (3) - weak sounds here makes this slider flows weird to me since movement direction change seems a bit random

- 00:33:634 (1) - I know that there is no vocals like here 00:35:234 (1) - but still the hyperdash would be nice there

- 00:44:734 (6,1,2,3,4,5) - A bit underspaced to me, for this stream 1.5x distance snap would gave perfect curve and it will be well-spaced.

- 00:45:634 (1,2) - that shaped stream was nice in 2014 tbh. Now it feels odd, there is not sound at 00:45:834 - for sharp movement change, you might want make it C-shaped without any sharp movements.

- 00:48:434 (2) - actually it's great spot for adding a hyperdash from (1) to (2) and (2) to (3) due to strong beats at (2) and (3). Try placing it x:392.

- 00:48:934 (4,6,8,10) - those notes feels kinda overmapped but if you really want to keep it I would suggest using drum sample set but with lowered volume. Soft hitsounds are too strong since they emphasize the silent while drum samples goes well with those almost unaudiable sounds. But yes, with volume a bit lowered.

- 00:49:634 - 00:50:034 - in this section soft hitsounds are too loud! Try 60% vol.

- from 01:02:434 - to 01:03:634 - you could improve timeline. You replied to Enchant that you are putting some "ariance between this and the difficulty below it". Its perfect place to do it.

- 01:05:634 (1,2,3,4) - movement here is very flat, and the pattern flows, sorry about that, just badly for me. You used a lot better placement at 01:04:434 (5,6) - or 01:07:434 (2,3,4) -

- 01:16:434 (4,5,6) - wait, is that 1/3 with combination of 1/8 used here ? I simply don't get your snaps here. To my ears best way to map it is something like https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7915149. On lower difficulties you could consider using 1/2 repeat slider. It just snaps more correct that your time.

As for the first one, I had a look at your lower diff. You did the exact same thing, so im not sure what you meant with the variance. I'd think you should take an another look at my suggestion since it actually boost the variance between this and the lower diff.

- 00:32:834 (3) - weak sounds here makes this slider flows weird to me since movement direction change seems a bit random Not really random, 00:32:834 (3,4) - has horizontal flow for variance, which changes at 00:33:634 (1) - for emphasis with the shape change on the strong note.

- 00:33:634 (1) - I know that there is no vocals like here 00:35:234 (1) - but still the hyperdash would be nice there Maybe, but not really my intent. I'm heavily vocal focused in this map!

Ah sorry, I confused the timestamps. In the light rain difficulty: The variance is at 00:42:834 (8,9,1) - which is still a little better than none at all. Also, I believe that removing the note in the top diff wouldn't be that good :< It would make the light rain have a higher density there, which isn't really that nice. If anything, I'd remove it from the light rain, but I don't think it's too detrimental to have and it sounds quite nice!

We did:
-underspaced streams at 00:44:834 -
-smoother stream at 00:45:634 (1,2) -
-improved flow at 01:05:634 (1,2,3,4) -
-fixed snaps at 01:16:434 (4,5,6) -
-volume was adjusted in few sections.

So all my concerns were fixed.

Thanks for your cooperation Ascendance, Enchant and Kurokami. I guess map should back to qaulifed section.
