hi owo/

[General]
It feels weird that the kiai starts 2/1 later while the music rather sounds to start with the kiai at 01:05:556 - . If you prefer that, that's fine. I just find it pretty odd.

[Kantan]
00:30:584 (33,34) - Personally I'd switch them so you have k d k first, then d k d and again k d k. However, nothing major so feel free to disagree.
00:41:556 (45,46) - ^
00:57:327 (4,5) - I'd remove (5) and change (4) to d - it's a nicer build up to 00:58:699 (6,1) - and sounds more consistent.
01:17:899 (2,3,4) - and 01:20:641 (6,7,8) - I made some thoughts about these two parts and maybe we could use some mirroring to 01:06:927 (4,5,6) - 01:09:670 (8,9,10) - . 01:17:899 (2,3,4) - should be dkk and 01:20:641 (6,7,8) - to kkd.

[Futsuu]
00:02:470 - 00:11:899 - Comparing this with the Muzukashii difficulty, you should nerf this part since both are really similar in this part. That's one example you could follow: https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/qeMX4Esq.png I'd generally exclude 1/2 notes for this part since Muzukashii uses them too, also that part in Kantan is quite calm, you should also keep that calm for the Futsuu difficulty here.
00:17:899 (34,35) - how about switching them? It'd add a little note of variation in this part of the difficulty. Apply this for 00:23:384 (46,47) - too.
00:38:127 (22,23,24) - I felt that k d d sounds better, the previous loop with d k d was nice but repeating it is boring and it's good you do something else here. But like said, personally I find k d d better. Same for 00:43:613 (32,33,34) - .

[Muzukashii]
So I've been testplaying the difficulty and noticed how easy it actually is. I was quite surprised and checked the Oni difficulty afterwards and.. well, the Muzukashii is too easy. The only thing I'd suggest to do is to add some triplets in the difficulty since Oni works with many multi-colour triplets and even five-lets. Having some single-colour triplets in the Muzukashii will regulate the spread better and the jumps between the difficulties are smoother.

Good places for triplets would be 00:48:327 - , 01:01:956 - , 01:07:356 - , 01:12:841 - , 01:18:327 - , 01:38:041 - (also add a note on 01:37:956 - ). If you find other places to use them, that's also good.

[Oni]
00:23:813 (100,101) - Wouldn't you just switch them? Because of the light sound at 00:23:899 - it'd be a better choice.
01:05:727 - Since the Kiai starts at 01:05:899 - the SV of 0.95x still applies for 01:05:727 (13) - . Add here a green line with 1.00x but without the kiai. It looks pretty weird that 01:05:727 (13) - is apart of 01:05:899 (14) - .

I think I found something I want to check again. I will come back and check out the map after you guys applied to my mod.

00:17:899 (34,35) - how about switching them? It'd add a little note of variation in this part of the difficulty. Apply this for 00:23:384 (46,47) - too. fixed little pattern to follow your opinion.
00:38:127 (22,23,24) - I felt that k d d sounds better, the previous loop with d k d was nice but repeating it is boring and it's good you do something else here. But like said, personally I find k d d better. Same for 00:43:613 (32,33,34) - . 00:38:127 (22,23,24) - kdd fixed and to make little mirroring pattern to avoid boring, 00:43:613 (32,33,34) - ddk used.

[Oni]
00:23:813 (100,101) - Wouldn't you just switch them? Because of the light sound at 00:23:899 - it'd be a better choice. fixed
01:05:727 - Since the Kiai starts at 01:05:899 - the SV of 0.95x still applies for 01:05:727 (13) - . Add here a green line with 1.00x but without the kiai. It looks pretty weird that 01:05:727 (13) - is apart of 01:05:899 (14) - . fixed

I think I found something I want to check again. I will come back and check out the map after you guys applied to my mod. (。◕ˇдˇ◕。) thank you!!

Two things before we can go:

  1. The artist is labeled as "チノ (CV.水瀬いのり)" while I am wondering if the space between "チノ" and "(CV.水瀬いのり)" is needed. Checking the mp3 it's without that space and I'd assume the mp3 is directly coming from the CD. I can't confirm it's to 100% correct so can you give some informations?

  2. Just to be secure; go to the Timing Tab and then choose "Resnap all notes", since it happens that some notes are unsnapped for 1ms. Not tragic or anything but since we can do this before bubbling it doesn't hurt to do that quickly. Be sure to have the snap divisor on 1/4.
After that, pm me.

Made a quick fix for the BG in the Kantan difficulty and updated it.

Which site did you take the romanised title from ?
If that is not the official title, The title should be "Okashi na Yume o Ohitotsu Douzo"
Let me know if you want to fix it.

From my modding queue. I am sorry to post a veto mod here, due to timing problem, primarily, and the overall quality of the beatmap.

[General]

> As Stefan had mentioned, the Kiai starting time is weird. The start of Kiai should be the starting note (either the Vocal/ Instrument) of Chorus, i.e. 01:05:556 - in Kantan - Muzukashii, / 01:05:384 - in Oni . Otherwise, please explain why do you want to start the Kiai at 01:05:899 - . With shifted Kiai, 01:05:899 - these Finishers are weird after all, please remove the Finish as well.

EDIT: > The metadata is wrong. 'CV.' should be excluded from the title based on the official info.
Source ref.: http://www.gochiusa.com/contents/cd/index03440000.html /

[Timing]

> A new red timing point should be set at 00:02:470 - . It is the 'real' start of the music and thereby by needing a red timing point for indicating a re-set metronome (on-beat). A further evidence for its presence is 00:13:441 - , which is the 9th bar. Normally, music is divided in 8 bars for a section. My suggestion should work.

> In addition, as you are not going to map anything before 00:02:470 - , 00:01:099 - can be removed. (Just directly use ONE inherited timing point at 00:02:470 - .)

[Akemi's Kantan]

> Looks good

[Futsuu]

> 00:28:356 (4,5,6) - They are out of track. 00:27:156 - / 00:28:527 - in terms of melody, they are the same. A same or similar structure is expected (nnn nnn on the on-beat starting). Maybe you can also try using patterns that fit the vocal completely (like what you did in Muzukashii at 00:27:156 - ).

Give you some suggestion 00:27:156 (1) - :

> ^ I prefer this pattern since it is less complicated and able to show consistencies with the music.

> ^ This pattern may be too complicated for Futsuu and does not bring a good density spread later on, not really preferred any way.

> 00:34:184 - / 00:45:156 - remove it since you left a gap at 00:31:441 - / 00:42:413 - , the pattern of 00:33:841 - & 00:31:099 - should be consistent.

> 00:37:270 - K suits more than D does due to the high pitch.

> 00:39:327 - same as 00:28:356 - , fix it on your own based on what you are going to fix at 00:28:356 - .

> 01:00:070 - add Finish to state the strong and high-pitch vocal?

> 01:05:899 - As mentioned above in General, please remove Finish effect, or please explain why you would like to do so (I guess you want to emphasize the trumpet, but that is not necessary to do so because you mapping channel follows the vocal pretty solidly). 01:05:556 - The on-beat cymbal crash is more noticable comparing with the trumpet, therefore it worths a Finish instead of putting it at 01:05:899 - .(In normal situation Finisher is used in the first beat except special cases, and yours is not)

^ 01:11:384 - same as above ^

> 01:12:756 - how about shifting 1/2 backward to 01:12:584 - for the sake of vocal presence there? Check 01:23:556 - as well, the vocal rhythm is the same, and hence the pattern you mapped should also be the same and consistent.

> 01:23:899 - please shift this note to 01:24:070 - . It should be consistent with 01:13:099 - .

> 01:38:127 - how about changing it to k for the consistency?
[Muzukashii]

> 00:27:156 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - pretty much the same with Futsuu's situation. 00:28:013 (4,5,6,7,8) - is completely off from instrumental part or vocal part.

How about 00:27:156 (1) - :

00:27:156 - / 00:28:527 - show the vocal perfectly by d kd
00:28:527 (6) - is d because there are higher pitches of vocal at 00:28:184 (4,5) - .

> 00:30:413 - shift 1/2 forward to 00:30:584 - in order to match the vocal please.... The current position sounds really off.

> 00:33:156 - same as above, shift it to 00:33:327 - this time. If you follow vocal, then keep following it.

> 00:33:499 - you may change it to k for variation purpose.

> 00:37:270 - K here sounds better especially you have D at 00:36:927 - . K D K can show the vocal pitch flow very well.

> 00:38:127 - same as 00:27:156 - , also please fix it on your own.

> 00:41:384 - same case at 00:30:413 -

> 00:41:727 - k may be changed as you use 'kat' as the main theme in this section.

> 00:58:699 (98) - Shouldn't it also be a Finisher? Be consistent with 00:54:584 - / 00:55:956 - / 00:57:327 -

! 01:05:899 - same question about the use of Kiai and Finisher here, you need to explain why you would like to map like this.

[Oni]

> 00:25:784 (106,107,108,109) - Finishers here should make more sense than small notes since their dynamic is identical to 00:24:756 (104,105) - . Meanwhile, you use Finishers in the same in other difficulties (Futsuu and Muzuashii). Consistency across difficulties should be well considered.

> 00:37:270 - same as above

> 00:44:299 - Here's an obvious density drop comparing with the patterns at 00:33:327 - , they are meant to be rhymatically similar, but now they are not.

> 00:51:499 (9,10) - how about ctrl+G (d k) considering their pitch differences?

> 01:00:070 (45) - You definitely missed a Finisher right here.

> 01:05:384 - as mentioned in General, you can start the Kiai at this timing since you emphasize the start with this don on the vocal note.

> 01:09:841 - It is fine for being a kat in Muzukashii, but you need some appropriate changes in Oni since players should be able to play more complicated patterns like polychrome 1/2 patterns. This note should be a d to represent the vocal pitch flow more clearly.

> 01:18:070 - similar case at 00:44:299 - . This time, it shows an extra progression by mapping both trumpets and vocal. While 01:07:099 - is straightly mapping to the vocal. 01:18:756 - should be empty hence. A progression is not really needed in this song as there is no obvious stronger music at the second part of Chorus.

> 01:09:156 - absolutely the same case as above, remove it due to the blank at 01:20:127 -

> 01:25:784 - you can put a kat here to fulfil all musical elements before the spinner, if you like.

> 01:26:813 - I don't think it is good to add a little stream right here since the drum set is pretty weak and you are not likely following the drum along the whole song anyway. It is strange and out of your mapping channel. Just ending the spinner at 01:27:156 - would be fine.

> 01:37:870 - if you put a kat at 01:38:213 - , you should also put one at 01:37:870 - since your mapping style here is like completely following the drum set. Two clear triplets can be heard at 01:37:784 - and 01:38:127 - , so kkd kkd K is more suitable.

Hello, this map has been disqualified for some general quality issues in Futsuu and Muzukashii.

  • [General]
  1. Please consider alacat's post for a more proper way of title romanisation: p/6004047
  2. Kiai should start more naturally at 01:05:556 - for all difficulties.
  3. The green line at 01:05:727 - in Oni is unused, so you may remove it.
  • [Futsuu]
  1. From 00:27:156 to 00:49:099 - pattern arrangement in this session sounds a bit out of place and does not accompany the song well since you followed the background bass guitar at 00:28:356 (4,5,6) - while mapping the main rhythm at 00:27:156 (1,2,3) - , resulting in a loose structure. You may refer to Skylish's post for a fix.
  2. 00:32:641 (12) - consider adding finish to cohere with 00:27:156 (1) - ?
  3. 00:43:613 (34) - same as ^
  • [Muzukashii]
  1. 00:13:527 (28,32) - these notes could be deleted for a better spread considering that there are only 1/1 notes in Futsuu and the current density is quite similar to that in Oni.
  2. 00:16:270 (39,43) - 00:19:013 (50,54) - 00:21:756 (61,65) - same as ^
  3. From 00:23:556 to 00:24:070 - maybe try ddd k k to reduce its gap with Oni ?
  4. From 00:27:156 to 00:49:099 - same as Futsuu
Please reply to Skylish's (and Charlotte's) suggestions as well. You may call me back after that.
Charlotte
Hi via game-in chat.

quick suggestion.

OD spread -> 3-3.5-4-5 or 3-4-5-5.5 or 3-4-4.5-5 How about you think? I think more good spread.

Oni 00:02:470 - 00:11:899 - hmm...I think excessive finish.not strong part & This finish is Oni only.

You may refer to Skylish's post for a fix. refer with his post, fixed
  2. 00:32:641 (12) - consider adding finish to cohere with 00:27:156 (1) - ? ok
  3. 00:43:613 (34) - same as ^ ok
  • [Muzukashii]
  1. 00:13:527 (28,32) - these notes could be deleted for a better spread considering that there are only 1/1 notes in Futsuu and the current density is quite similar to that in Oni. fixed
  2. 00:16:270 (39,43) - 00:19:013 (50,54) - 00:21:756 (61,65) - same as ^ ^
  3. From 00:23:556 to 00:24:070 - maybe try ddd k k to reduce its gap with Oni ? fixed
  4. From 00:27:156 to 00:49:099 - same as Futsuu same with his post, fixed focusing on vocal melody.
Please reply to Skylish's (and Charlotte's) suggestions as well. You may call me back after that.

Thanks :D

Hi via game-in chat.

quick suggestion.

OD spread -> 3-3.5-4-5 or 3-4-5-5.5 or 3-4-4.5-5 How about you think? I think more good spread. 3 3.5 4 5 fixed. looks better spread now :)

Oni 00:02:470 - 00:11:899 - hmm...I think excessive finish.not strong part & This finish is Oni only. wanna emphasize vocal sound in this part, and wanna big emphasize, so keep.

Thanks :)

If that is not the official title, The title should be "Okashi na Yume o Ohitotsu Douzo"
'Yume' and 'Douzo' use Uppercase in first letter

There is likely a bunch of 1 ms unsnapped objects (due to new timing set), please check the notes manually, for example 01:05:555-

Please confirm all things and find Nardo to re-bubble. I will qualify it.
Nardoxyribonucleic
Further discussed pattern arrangements with the creator in-game to improve the spread from 00:27:155 to 00:49:098 - . The set looks better now.

Rebubbled~

Final check before qualification:

[Futsuu]

> 00:37:270 - It is K in other difficulties, how about considering again to change it to K in Futsuu? Another reason of change is that, although it is empty at 00:36:927 - , players can still feel the strong vocal pitch flow. (00:36:584 - K D K; High Low, A bit higher) 00:37:270 - has the same pitch with 00:38:127 - .

[Oni]

> 01:25:784 - I still prefer having a kat here consistently because you end the section with kat in most cases, like 00:48:755 - / 01:02:470 - .

Call me back when you are ready, when you see me online at night. (you can give me KDS in this post)

01:25:784 (115,1) - double drum kick sound, so for more emphasized 01:25:955 (1) - this spinner, fixed :)

I think the metadata could be wrong here, in the Artist's name should be CHINO[CV.MINASE INORI] according to http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/GNCA-456
The japanese Artist's name is also in brackets

correct me if I am wrong here

In any possible circumstances, official meta is confirmed as the most accurate and correct information of the music or songs.

You may refer to my mod at p/6004071 / go to the official website to check the info. out (http://www.gochiusa.com/contents/cd/index03440000.html). The current metadata was confirmed by me and alacat. It should be the correct one.
