for CTB players

The difficulties by me were designed for CTB mode.
As a CTB player, I was looking forward a CTB map qualified by myself someday. But I didn't really know how to do it. One day, some CTB players and me were talking about something fun maps from DNA made and we were missing him so much. I found that it's easily to see how the map works with his style. So I decided to map this. Here is the map. I hope you enjoy it.
But sorry no next time anymore. In fact, making this map gave me a hard time because I had to consider much of transformation stuff. I'm pretty tired of doing it again.

作為一個CTB玩家，我期望哪天能夠有一副自己的CTB圖qualified，但我真的不清楚怎麼做。某天我和一群CTB玩家聊到一些DNA做的有趣譜，我們都很想他。我發現我可以清楚了解到他的圖是怎麼在CTB模式中運作的，於是我開始著手製作這張譜面，這就是這張譜的由來，希望你們能從其中獲得樂趣
遺憾的是我不會再這麼做了，事實上做這張譜的時候讓我蠻為難的，我要去想很多STD轉換成CTB要去考慮的各種問題，做起來很累，不想再做了

Consider making the sliders at the start prettier
01:31:005 (1,2) - Missed strong sounds in between 1/1 jumps
01:31:470 (2,1) - Same^
01:31:936 (1,2,3,4) - 7 Notes on 1/4th rhythm. Starts on the red tick
01:32:401 (4,1) - Strong noise on blue tick inbetween
01:34:261 (5) - 1/4 rhythm all the way onto the next beat

01:35:424 (2,3,4) - Miss sound on blue tick
01:35:889 (5,6,7) - Might be just me, but it seems like an unjustified sudden change of spacing

I would redo some of sliders at the start, they look kinda clunky
Try to keep spacing consistent
Use 1/2 sliders to cover most of the 1/2 rhythms, this map has tons.
Repeating 1/4 sliders can properly represent the rhythm of the map but still keep it simple for newer players

I like the song, it's pretty funky. The map is good too, just needs a look over

red ticks sounds are not strong sounds, claps and white ticks usually stronger than red ones. Don't try to follow everything if there are full of beats on 1/2 or 1/4, or the map would play and look boring bcz no rhythm changing.

[General]
Combo Colours: The current Yellow you're using is way too strong and looks weird in middle of all the cold colors and the background you have, I suggest you either choose a different color or use a different shade of yellow, for example I suggest these settings

[Normal]
Mapping: The DS you're using for 1/2 intervals is not good, they're too big and leaves a ''weird'' little overlap that gives your map a look of inexperience. I Highly recommend you change that for something like 0,75. Yes, you are allowed to have different DS from what the Distance Snap tells you to do as long as you make it consistent during entire map and reasonable.

Structure: Your structure and flow on this map needs improvement, you don't to make something 100% blanketed and ''omg perfect visuals'', but you at some points the map really looks ugly and inexperienced, for example: 00:18:447 (1,2) - which looks really weird for a lowest diff and might even confuse new players due to the unnatural flow with these 2 sliders and here 00:49:843 (2,3) - where you could actually make a good flow but tried this unnatural movement. Low diffs must be really easy to read, simple and have intuitive flow/structure.

Rythm: You have a lot of inconsistencies with your rythm on this diff...low diffs must be really intuitive and easy, specially the lowest one, in your case you keep changing the rythm many times and it's never clear when you're following the vocals, the instruments or whatever you keep changing, you must make something intuitive. For example 00:48:215 (1,2,3) - here you start following the keyboard sound that also matches the vocals a bit, making the player understand you're following instruments and then, 00:51:936 (1,2) - you make this telling the player you're following the 1/1 drum rythm and for no reason you suddenly stop, without warning and then comes back 00:53:796 (3,4) - with the drum, the big issue here is that this pause don't exist, the drum keeps bumping the 1/1 rythm. and even if you try to explain the 3 click rythm you wanted to make (which have a kind of ''reason'' at some degree), you suddenly change again without no change or clue on the song here 00:59:377 (1,2) -.

On this diff, I won't point out specific patterns because it will be useless until you fix the things I mentioned, the issues above explain what happens over and over again during entire difficulty, for this to receive proper and usefull mods (and one day, be ranked) you must fix all those issues, make a consistent and instinctive rythm, while also having a proper DS on notes, and do not forget to make the flow easy and simple, it's the lowest diff, you're not meant to challenge players(this is the job for the other difficulties), this one is meant for people who just started playing and must learn the basics, so you always will sacrifice a lot just to make it easy to read/follow/play.

[Hard]

Mapping: You have maaaany issues with DS here, it's only a 2* difficulty, which is the transition from the nearly-new players to something a bit more advanced, so you usually want to use more 1/2 rythms here with a higher speed, to make a good transition of difficulty for them, but you have many unrankable things for a 2* here, for example this huge jumps and non-structured DS as you can see on these 1/2 sections 00:21:005 (2,3,1,2) - 00:24:959 (3,1,2) - 00:28:680 (3,1,2) - and so on during entire map. These things are not allowed into a 2*, you must also make something simple and intuitive on a 2* diff, similar to what was mentioned on the Normal.

Structure: Same as normal.

Rythm:Similar to what I said on normal. It's basically the same thing, but on this difficutly it is mixed with a higher inconsistent DS.

I decided to not mod the other difficulties because I would be repeating myself over and over again, i noticed the same things happened on the 2 insane diffs you made, so I highly suggest you reand and understand what I stated on the first 2 diffs and adjust the other 2 also. You can always call me in chat to talk about mapping if you need :p

Low diffs must be really easy to read, simple and have intuitive flow/structure. I'll keep it for a while, I don't think it's really hard to read.

Rythm: You have a lot of inconsistencies with your rythm on this diff...low diffs must be really intuitive and easy, specially the lowest one, in your case you keep changing the rythm many times and it's never clear when you're following the vocals, the instruments or whatever you keep changing, you must make something intuitive. For example 00:48:215 (1,2,3) - here you start following the keyboard sound that also matches the vocals a bit, making the player understand you're following instruments and then, 00:51:936 (1,2) - you make this telling the player you're following the 1/1 drum rythm and for no reason you suddenly stop, without warning and then comes back 00:53:796 (3,4) - with the drum, the big issue here is that this pause don't exist, the drum keeps bumping the 1/1 rythm. and even if you try to explain the 3 click rythm you wanted to make (which have a kind of ''reason'' at some degree), you suddenly change again without no change or clue on the song here 00:59:377 (1,2) -.

you don't really know why I didn't follow all of white beats right ? It is because this song have soft part and stronger part. Rhythm changing is the best way to show what the soft part is, what stronger one is IN LOW difficulties. How to judge that the rhythm is becoming softer when a newbie player playing ? The answer is distance. They need to learn to read distance to judge the timing they should click. I don't afraid of using 2/1, since it makes a map more enjoyable. Also, different slider make a low difficulty more different than other difficulty which is just straight and curve. About the lowest difficulty, 2*↓ is okay, an experience mapper told me.

On this diff, I won't point out specific patterns because it will be useless until you fix the things I mentioned, the issues above explain what happens over and over again during entire difficulty, for this to receive proper and usefull mods (and one day, be ranked) you must fix all those issues, make a consistent and instinctive rythm, while also having a proper DS on notes, and do not forget to make the flow easy and simple, it's the lowest diff, you're not meant to challenge players(this is the job for the other difficulties), this one is meant for people who just started playing and must learn the basics, so you always will sacrifice a lot just to make it easy to read/follow/play.

[Hard]

Mapping: You have maaaany issues with DS here, it's only a 2* difficulty, which is the transition from the nearly-new players to something a bit more advanced, so you usually want to use more 1/2 rythms here with a higher speed, to make a good transition of difficulty for them, but you have many unrankable things for a 2* here, for example this huge jumps and non-structured DS as you can see on these 1/2 sections 00:21:005 (2,3,1,2) - 00:24:959 (3,1,2) - 00:28:680 (3,1,2) - and so on during entire map. These things are not allowed into a 2*, you must also make something simple and intuitive on a 2* diff, similar to what was mentioned on the Normal.

I use the jump for reason, is Hard difficulty for newbies ? I don't think so. The reason why this difficulty shows 2.76* because I don't want to use 1/2 beats all the time. I want to make this difficulty funner by rhythm changing and a few jumps (distance changing). btw 2.0* is very different from 2.76*, Which you mean that these jumps are unrankable for, a 2.0* or a 2.76*?I reduced some jumps to make the jump usage clearly looking.

Structure: Same as normal.

Rythm:Similar to what I said on normal. It's basically the same thing, but on this difficutly it is mixed with a higher inconsistent DS.

I don't mad at you that you give me the feeling that you tell me my map is not worth to rank at all, but I hope you will understand what mappers are thinking when you do a mod in the future. Also thank you to be patience to type so many things here even you think the map is quite bad to you. I appreciate it, really.

I decided to not mod the other difficulties because I would be repeating myself over and over again, i noticed the same things happened on the 2 insane diffs you made, so I highly suggest you reand and understand what I stated on the first 2 diffs and adjust the other 2 also. Responding on the M4M (You'll have to go back and look at my response to your thread as I need that mod posted on the V2 page, and not the regular one)

[Normal]

00:03:563 (1) - I would personally move the head of this slider to the left (around x96 y80) so the head/tail doesn't overlap as it currently does.
00:08:912 (3) - end this 1/2 earlier to match vocals like you've been following in this section? It's better to be consistent and on point with them, especially if your main focus is vocals.
00:18:447 (1) - These could be structured together better as the angle is a bit too sharp. Try moving the (1) to the right some, so the head makes a triangle with 00:17:517 (1,2) - x181 y246 is a perfect triangle. Note you'll have to adjust the notes up ahead as well. Try adding in a left curve on 00:18:447 (1) - to help flow into the upcoming notes maybe? Maybe something like this: http://puu.sh/vcIjh.jpg
01:11:005 (2,4) - Can you make these somewhat similar like you did with 01:03:563 (2,4) - ? The two sliders are basically the same in the rhythm and similar slider shapes would fit much better here.
01:31:005 (4) - x56 y68, and maybe adjust 01:31:936 (5) - if you want, though it shouldn't be needed with a 2/1 gap.
02:01:354 (1) - Slider is a bit short for Normal tbh. Maybe use a long slider here instead for the vocals?
02:13:796 (1) - Same as the first mod. Separate the head and tail some so they don't overlap.

I still think the jumps fit this part, but yes you are right. I reduced the spacing to make the jumps more noticable. they are now making more sense.

* I will stop here cause you need to make th DS between the note same or maybe a bit diff cause its Hard diff by the diff of the beat .. if its too strong you can make it jumpy otherwise the other should be the same on Hard diff for my opinion.. it looks like insane ..
so just don't make it too jumpy .. and its looks like the DS not the same at all .. maybe you just put the notes randomly ..
keep that in mind .. you should look on hard diff that ranked and you will understand my point ..

---这种1/4比较少的曲子slider tick rate用1就可以了。

Insane
--00:04:494 (3,4,1,2) - 感觉这里有点overdone，间距太大了，毕竟是比较安静的部分，照着ds来摆就差不多了，至少把note放地集中一点。举个例子，把00:04:959 (4) - 转135°之后放在256|271 这种位置什么的，否则感觉不太好。
--00:07:750 (2,3) - 做一下blanket吧，否则就会觉得这些note排列得很松散，没有什么关系。
--00:14:261 - 这里有重音，但是你用的是滑条尾，之后轻一点的音确是滑条头，轻重音关系乱了。推荐在这个时候用1/2滑条，把00:13:796 (2) - 缩短1/4拍，之后00:14:726 - 用圈。
--00:14:843 (1) - 你放这个转盘是因为vocal对吧？然而vocal在00:16:122 - 就停了，所以我推荐把转盘停在这个时刻，现在停转盘的时刻放圈。
--00:18:447 (1,2,3,4) - 由于只有最后一个滑条那里有个掌声，所以只有第四个是特殊的，推荐把前三个做的有些关联性，比如用旋转120°的排列什么的，然后把第四个弄特殊一点，否则有clap但没有排列上的变化会很诡异。后面的相同节奏也一样。
--00:21:238 (5,6) - 这里的话可以试试换成圈圈 1/2条，然后把第二个圈和条头叠上。
--00:25:191 (1,2,1) - 这种几乎同间距但是不同间隔的排列必须得有个很硬的理由才能放。一般在这种节奏都会放overlap，就是把这俩00:25:424 (2,1) - 叠在一起，但是要错开一点，这样不会造成读图困扰，而且也避免了跨屏的跳。
--00:41:238 (3,4,5) - 慎用钝角跳。顺便这个DS变得也不合理。
--00:51:122 - 00:51:819 - 挺明显能听见这两个地方有音，推荐把前一个note换成1/4滑条。
--讲道理，这一段我有点没搞懂你到底在跟哪个音。初步感觉是vocal，但是又有没跟的vocal，你的节奏是复制粘贴的。00:53:563 - 比如这个vocal重音提前，推荐就直接跟vocal吧，直接用1/1滑条。后面也是要注意一下明确自己在跟哪个。这种地方推荐有vocal就跟vocal，没有就鼓点，如果vocal音特别长就用1/1滑条然后跟鼓点。
--01:17:982 - 这一段...你的思想很危险啊...推荐这种曲子不要circle spam因为铺满1/2的那个音实在太弱，这种地方会被喷成overdone的。而且看样子你的这些跳也安排得不是很好...推荐删了然后跟vocal做一遍...这块的问题的确很大。
--kiai很好
--02:02:401 - vocal到这里，所以转盘停在这里，后面加圈。
--02:11:936 (1,2,3) - 和之前一样用1/1滑条吧，突然冒出来三个圈很奇怪。

Light Insane
--开头感觉和Insane差不多，推荐滑条尾该加圈的还是加上比较好，比如这个00:10:075 (3) - 减短1/4然后加圈，或者直接不要滑条，然后头一个圈，尾一个圈。这种地方00:07:750 (2,3) - 很孤零零的两个圈，打着不太爽，这里和Insane一样下节奏就好了。转盘同Insane
--00:26:354 (2,3) - 为了把一个clap和两个clap的地方区分地再明显一点，这里推荐把圈叠在滑条尾上。
--01:01:238 (1,2,1) - 注意ds，推荐把条圈之间改成overlap
--插入一句，这个diff作为Light Insane再有这种01:25:424 (1,2) - 大间距好像就不太合适了，推荐把所有1/2比较多的section的1/1的排列都用overlap
--01:29:610 (2,3,) - 01:32:052 (4,5) - 丑，老老实实用三个点的弯就可以了。顺便这个01:32:052 (4,5) - 间距要小一点，否则看不出是1/4
--01:34:029 - 01:48:912 - 这里加个圈好像更好。你如果不想把节奏弄得太密的话，可以抄这里的节奏01:55:191 (1,2,3) -
--02:01:354 (1) - 这个转盘同Insane
--02:06:354 (1,2,3,4,5) - 这里的节奏不好，没压好重音的原因。

Hard
--开头那段的NC好乱，四拍一NC就行了。
--00:34:261 (3,4) - 00:36:354 (1,2) - 新人杀手。打Hard的玩家可搞不懂这NC的作用，推荐把隔一拍的那种用stack
--01:13:796 (3,1) - 间距太大了。

00:06:354 (2) - extend this slider by 1/2 if this is mapped to the vocals, it's normal to extend sliders to emphasize one track. you can't map everything in STD mode.

00:14:843 (1) - spinnerend has zero emphasize, a click 00:17:052 (1) - has much emphasize. inconsistent emphasize! tl:dr 00:16:587 - put a circle here

00:38:912 (9) - There's a really strong beat here though.

01:15:889 (1) - remove nc
01:16:122 (3) - add nc, always new combo on downbeats

would try to get a bit more intuitive with the rhythms so it feels less like jumps spam

I don't really agree what you mentioned.
so just don't make it too jumpy .. and its looks like the DS not the same at all .. maybe you just put the notes randomly .. obviously, you don't really know what I am doing for those DS changes

00:14:843 (1) - There have to be more time to recover after the spinner since it's a normal diff

One thing for normal:

01:06:819 (1,2) - use sliders, i feel like these circles are too "simple," i think sliders would sound better as well

Hard approach rate should be pushed up .5 more at least, 6 seem more like advanced

Light Insane
01:06:819 (1) - i would suggest making the second joint counting from top red, and create a more hook liked shape. it looks better imo
01:08:912 - filling in this gap
01:11:936 (4) - i feel like if the slider end was replaced with the start of the slider instead,(maybe shift the slider down) it would emphasis that note more. (to me the red tick 01:12:168 - sounds slightly more "heavy" than the one before, making it a better place to start rather finish)
01:14:261 (1) - same goes for 1
01:32:052 (3) - starting on a blue tick doesnt sound right

This map needs Easy diff. imo cuz this slow song should have it.

00:25:889 (1,2,3,4) - okay. this part, the rhythm is the same as 00:18:447 (1,2,3,4) but you mapped differently. i recommend to make it same.
00:23:796 (3,5) - you may stack these together. (5) is slightly move so it's not stack perfectly
00:23:796 (3,4) - maybe blanket these by adjust a (3)'s slider
if you want clearer explanation
move the last anchor to x:480 y:72
00:30:773 - You should add a note here since there's a sound here
01:06:819 (1) - weird slider here. imo you could make just a curve slider.
Not much mod here because there are not that much notes than Light Insane should.

01:17:982 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - This is the hardest part compared to the other parts. I mean... you shouldn't make jumps. I'd recommend to do that in kiai.

01:17:982 - Oh boy... Idk but this kind of song isn't really suggesting for those jumps tbh.. The music offer lots of things that could be mapped with some sliders + something more creative. At a very first try, I'd suggest you to add some 1/2 sliders at 01:17:982 - 01:18:912 - 01:19:377 - 01:20:773 - etc..
01:21:703 (1,2,3) - Okay I respect the jumps in some way, but this DS is way too much. It doesn't fit the map nor the music so yeah. Really suggest you to reduce them.
01:44:610 (4,6,3,5) - Those bell hitsound doesn't really play good right there imo... Maybe try to delete them and add 01:44:959 (7,6) - here instead?

im too lazy to continue this mod because it seems like your errors are all rhythm based and very consistent. for all i know its some weird structure you're trying to follow which makes no sense to me rhythmically. as i've mentioned, you've skipped over certain instruments for the sake of the vocal mapping structure, which is ok, but please exercise in discretion. try not to overmap the rhythm with wrong triplets that dont emphasise anything and dont reflect itself accurately in the song.

00:10:075 (3) - perhaps the length of the slider makes more sense rhythmically, but the rhythm in Insane is imo a little more natural, since i feel that the vocal should be clickable

from 02:03:098 (1) - onwards, its a lot less rhythmically dense compared to the intro, which sounds exactly the same. consider this part more similar to the intro

i think this diff is better than your insane even though you didnt emphasise a lot of notes. i like the idea of vocal mapping when its consistent enough to follow, so i think this is pretty nice

I could only use the computer 2.5hr this time, and I spent it all to fix many things without replying everyone. I fixed the flow and the rhythm for Normal, fixed the jump for Hard, fixed the rhythm for Light Insane, fixed spacings, slider shape, placement for Insane, transfer the .ogg files to .wav ones and do some general stuff. Not gonna add Easy difficulty for the set though. I'll make more improvement next time. C u next Thursday！ Thanks everyone who modded my map and told me your thoughts. They are truly helpful ！

00:18:447 - Like, and important thing to keep in mind when mapping DS is that you shouldn't use the same kind of flow for too long, in this case your flow literally went counter-clockwise until 00:35:191 which I found very repetitive zzz, actually you could try to be more in-depth with flow, something like "I'm gonna switch the flow rotation every [x] measure(s)" or "I will break the flow on downbeat/strong sounds" etc etc
00:46:819 (4,5,6) - Should be placed in a less complicated way like 00:31:936 (4,5,6) considering this might be too edgy for an easiest diff.
00:49:843 (2,1) - Not really recommend breaking DS for the sake of visuals, since you don't usually blanket stuff like this so this one looks inconsistently done compared to other things in the diff.
00:55:657 (1,5) - The pattern here should be polished a bit more. 00:51:936 (1,3,4) - is actually well-thought but idk what are you trying to do on this one, try polishing this more for a better visual spacing, something like this would work too, but up to you.
01:24:029 (4) - 2 circles instead? Vocals on this are slightly different than 01:21:703 (1,2) so it should be represented differently.
Slider shapes in kiai could be more consistent too. For instance 01:55:191 (1,2,3) - all have the same shape, have you ever thought of doing the same thing in other measures like 01:40:308 (1,2,3) as well? I don't mind if you're intending to do slider shapes differently in one measure, but I would like to see a more consistent idea of slider shapes across all measures 01:32:866 (1,2,3) - 01:40:308 (1,2,3) - 01:47:750 (1,2,3) - 01:55:191 (1,2,3) - in kiai.

Also AR should be 4 for the sake of diff spread cuz I assume this is supposed to be an easy-ish Normal?

00:27:517 - Might as well add a circle here like 00:42:401 (4) and also because you don't suddenly have a rhythm gap in a middle of each measure anyways.

[Hard]

00:21:238 (3,1) - 00:28:680 (3,1) - 00:31:936 (2,1) - and a few more until the end of that section. Using combo thing to indicate a jump is one thing, but you shouldn't:
1. Do 2 jumps consecutively in Hard (techincally it's possible to do so but I don't really recommend doing this since you do this once every 2 or whatever measures which is pretty frequent)
2. Do the jump before the NC which is the indicator of the difference in distance, it might be intuitively playable since you're doing this consistently but it's also outright confusing at the same time.
00:22:633 (2,3,1) - 00:30:075 (2,3,1) - You're giving out the same visual spacing with different beat snaps which is confusing. I read your older mod replies which you seemed to nerfed this to some extent already but it's still not enough, probably need a more noticeable indication for those jumps. 00:23:563 (3,1) - Swapping NC on these might work to some extent, you can do it any other way too if you can come up with something better to indicate that 00:23:563 (3,1) is a jump and has different beat spacing than 00:22:633 (2,3) . Same also applies to whenever you did this in other measures as well.
00:51:936 (1,2,3) - 00:54:029 (1,2,3) - Are you not going to use the same rhythm between measures like what you did in other diffs?
00:59:377 (1) - Vocal faded out midway of the slider so 2 circles could work better.
01:01:238 (1,2) - Using 4 circles would fit better than jumps, you're already using jumps on downbeats so forcing another one here would be confusing and not really intuitive in gameplay.
01:02:401 (1,2) - This shouldn't be a jump really, you're forcing consecutive jumps 01:02:401 (1,2,1) which is uhhh as explained before, could do something else with 01:02:401 (1,2) if you wish to emphasize them, stacking 01:02:401 (1) on 01:02:633 (2) could work, changing 01:02:401 (1,2) to a 1/2 repeat slider could work as well, there are a number of ways to do this, so up to you then.
01:16:354 (1,2,3) - 01:17:284 (4,5,6) - You shouldn't do the same pattern twice if they're not based on the same instruments zzz, actually in other diffs you never do this kind of thing so I wonder why you did it here.
01:21:703 (1,2) - Move this so that the head of 01:22:401 (2) will be stacked under the tail of 01:20:308 (2) ? The visual spacing on 01:20:308 (2,1) seems unintentionally uneven compared to how you visually spaced 01:19:843 (1,2,3) - 01:19:843 (1,4) . You have to move things around a bit too if you apply this so take note of that.
01:24:494 (2,3,1) - Same consecutive jumps thing as mentioned before zz
01:42:168 (1) - 01:55:191 (1) - 1.3 DS pls
01:44:610 - 01:45:540 - I wouldn't put strong bell hitsounds on blue ticks lol. Hitsounding is not just about putting them on where the sound exists, it's also about providing appropriate feedback when clicked in game play. If your hitsounds fail to do so, then you should do something with them.
01:57:750 (2,3) - Not the most intuitive rhythm choice to do so, you're starting off the measure with the same rhythms 01:57:052 (1,2) as others but you moved 01:57:750 (2) to the red tick which can be confusing since you suddenly broke the consistency from other measures without any real change from the song itself, if you want to emphasize 01:58:215 (3) then doing something like this would be much more suitable to vocals.

Even though I mentioned many times about how I disagreed with doing consecutive (2+) jumps in a row in Hard, I still found them somewhat acceptable for those you've done in kiai since it's supposed to be the most intense section in the song and the rhythm used is repetitive enough to be intuitive while playing.

[Light Insane]

00:23:796 (3) - Shouldn't have the same shape as 00:22:168 (1,2) since it's musically different from those two.
00:38:680 (1) - Same as above I guess, actually the NC here is inconsistent with 00:23:796 (3) .

Actually I'm too tired so I'm gonna stop here lol, I only skimmed this diff a bit though, also I'm curious on what is your spacing concept(like, how do you space objects in each sections) in this diff, would you mind elaborate?

As far as I have modded on lower diffs so far, overall the mapset is actually pretty good lmao. I can see these diffs are interesting and well-thought, keep that up. Could do some more polishing on aesthetics to make things more consistent though, good luck~

00:17:052 (1,2,3) - I would use 1.2 distance snap here too, it's only slight but makes a small difference.
00:40:075 (1,2) - Spacing looks like too much for hard.
00:43:796 (1,2) - Same here.
00:47:517 (1,2) - And here (won't add any more of these, you get it by now)
01:59:610 (2,3) - These 2 need better placement

Light Insane
00:53:796 (1) - Look at the spacing here and then here 00:56:587 (3) - the song doesn't change but the spacing does, keep it consistent. "Avoid major composition differences in similar sections of a song. The basic spacing and rhythm should be similar, while patterning can vary. This ensures that rhythm and intensity in all similar sections reflect a song similarly." - Ranking criteria.

Insane
01:16:819 (1,2,3,4,5) - The tempo of the song doesn't increase enough to justify this spacing.

@- Frontier -: have made the object stacked and adjuxt the slider. I think the jumps before kiai time fit the music tho.

@iYiyo: fixed almost everything ! About a point you mentioned:
00:53:331 - 00:55:191 - 00:57:052 - etc... Don't really know why are you skipping those strong beats... I mean they're quite notorious, and even being a Normal diff, they should be mapped. I'd also add some slider on this sections too.
I'd like to reduce the ryhthm to make this part "slow down" since the music is softer than another part. I like to see the kind of changing for maps.

@Emilia: fixed some ryhthm errors. I think the slider looks fine.

@squirrelpascals: fixed the triplets, pattern for Insane, changed the slider shape for Light Insane, fixed the spaces between objects and fixed the rhythms for Hard. About Light Insane you mentioned, I'd like to make more 1/1 ryhthms to express the song and this diff bcz I like the style tho.

@Electoz: fixed all except:

And about Hard diff: After your suggestion I adusted some stuff to make some patterns more sense and looked better. I use jumps basic on some strong beats, like strong vocals and claps. Also according to the music is going, changing the rhythm for different part to compare with the others works well to me, same as Insane and Light Insane, so I'd like to keep some patterns and jumps I previous made.

Im really not sure about this normal diff tho? I think first of all you should adapt your DS so that 1/2 gaps dont just barely overlap so like either boosting it just a little so that the have a small space between them or reducing it to make a nicer overlap. Then for the rhythm choices I feel like you leave a lot of huge gap because its a normal and stuff but thats not really necessary to leave so many huge 2/1 gap everywhere. You can fill most of them with atleast a 1/1 slider end would already be much better. Also some places you could add 1/2 slider to catch vocals maybe, you kinda only used 1/2 to catch those clap sounds 01:35:889 (5) - but I feel vocals are often stronger in the song and you kinda just ignore them a lot? So that would also help this diff a lot. Unless you want to make an Easy diff then like the 1/2 stuff is meh :/

I actually find this set interessting although really not a fan of this normal diff but mostly really nice set owo

@Shanipika : about what you described to Normal. I'd say it's personal taste and feeling. I did many rhythm changing with 2/1, 1/1 and a bit 1/2 to the Normal. using 2/1 made this diff not only easier but more difficult since you don't click too much beats in the same time (easier) but you need to read more careful (more difficult), it's interesting to me. Also, the Normal is lowest diff, it's necessary to skip beats so I couldn't follow every beats for the song. Maybe you want to see higher* Normal to follow every beats but no, I don't want to do this for Normal. I'd say why you don't just play 3*↑ Hard or something ?

I think those claps are strong enough to follow every of them. That's my taste

00:43:563 (3,4,5,6) - these are spaced out way too far for the same noise, move it to the left some
01:15:424 (5) - change these to circles, as the sound in the song is too important to not be clickable
01:21:703 (1,2,3,4) - move to the left, notes are overemphasized
01:31:005 (1,2) - it's kinda hard to tell if this is 1/1th or 1/2th due to the previous extreme spacing shown
rest of diffs alright
the only problem i found in the light insane was 01:29:610 (2,3) - these sliders. if they had 1 or 2 points they would look a lot more appealing

00:23:563 (1,2) - this is spaced a little too big. it's pretty unnecessary
00:31:005 (1,2) - this is basically the exact same thing as ^
00:32:633 (1,2,1) - spacing makes it hard to tell if it is 1/1th or 1/2th
00:38:447 (1,2) - the same as 00:23:563 jeez man im on a roll

Heyo from my mod queue,

Normal:

01:41:238 (2) - I feel like this slider shape is out of place, it's only used once in the entire map and it doesn't really represent a certain sound in the song

Hard:

00:09:610 (2) - No need for 3 white anchors

01:07:750 (3) - Can be replaced with a 1/2 slider

02:16:587 (3) - NC

Light Insane:

01:06:819 (1) - This slider is just not aesthetically pleasing, it can definitly look much better. Not only for this one, but I suggest looking up or trying out making long good looking slider shapes (or steal from other mappers but that's no fun

)

General:

It's a nice mapset, flows nicely and just needs a little bit of retouches, Good luck~!
