    im too lazy to continue this mod because it seems like your errors are all rhythm based and very consistent. for all i know its some weird structure you're trying to follow which makes no sense to me rhythmically. as i've mentioned, you've skipped over certain instruments for the sake of the vocal mapping structure, which is ok, but please exercise in discretion. try not to overmap the rhythm with wrong triplets that dont emphasise anything and dont reflect itself accurately in the song.
    though the flow structure is generally ok

  1. 00:10:075 (3) - perhaps the length of the slider makes more sense rhythmically, but the rhythm in Insane is imo a little more natural, since i feel that the vocal should be clickable
  2. 01:44:029 (1,2) - i think the reverse slider should start being clickable on the white tick, which is actually the sliderend of the first slider. its a lot less misleading that way
  3. from 02:03:098 (1) - onwards, its a lot less rhythmically dense compared to the intro, which sounds exactly the same. consider this part more similar to the intro

    i think this diff is better than your insane even though you didnt emphasise a lot of notes. i like the idea of vocal mapping when its consistent enough to follow, so i think this is pretty nice

I could only use the computer 2.5hr this time, and I spent it all to fix many things without replying everyone. I fixed the flow and the rhythm for Normal, fixed the jump for Hard, fixed the rhythm for Light Insane, fixed spacings, slider shape, placement for Insane, transfer the .ogg files to .wav ones and do some general stuff. Not gonna add Easy difficulty for the set though. I'll make more improvement next time. C u next Thursday! Thanks everyone who modded my map and told me your thoughts. They are truly helpful !

  1. 00:18:447 - Like, and important thing to keep in mind when mapping DS is that you shouldn't use the same kind of flow for too long, in this case your flow literally went counter-clockwise until 00:35:191 which I found very repetitive zzz, actually you could try to be more in-depth with flow, something like "I'm gonna switch the flow rotation every [x] measure(s)" or "I will break the flow on downbeat/strong sounds" etc etc
  2. 00:46:819 (4,5,6) - Should be placed in a less complicated way like 00:31:936 (4,5,6) considering this might be too edgy for an easiest diff.
  3. 00:49:843 (2,1) - Not really recommend breaking DS for the sake of visuals, since you don't usually blanket stuff like this so this one looks inconsistently done compared to other things in the diff.
  4. 00:55:657 (1,5) - The pattern here should be polished a bit more. 00:51:936 (1,3,4) - is actually well-thought but idk what are you trying to do on this one, try polishing this more for a better visual spacing, something like this would work too, but up to you.
  5. 01:24:029 (4) - 2 circles instead? Vocals on this are slightly different than 01:21:703 (1,2) so it should be represented differently.
  6. Slider shapes in kiai could be more consistent too. For instance 01:55:191 (1,2,3) - all have the same shape, have you ever thought of doing the same thing in other measures like 01:40:308 (1,2,3) as well? I don't mind if you're intending to do slider shapes differently in one measure, but I would like to see a more consistent idea of slider shapes across all measures 01:32:866 (1,2,3) - 01:40:308 (1,2,3) - 01:47:750 (1,2,3) - 01:55:191 (1,2,3) - in kiai.
Also AR should be 4 for the sake of diff spread cuz I assume this is supposed to be an easy-ish Normal?

  1. 00:27:517 - Might as well add a circle here like 00:42:401 (4) and also because you don't suddenly have a rhythm gap in a middle of each measure anyways.
[Hard]

  1. 00:21:238 (3,1) - 00:28:680 (3,1) - 00:31:936 (2,1) - and a few more until the end of that section. Using combo thing to indicate a jump is one thing, but you shouldn't:
    1. Do 2 jumps consecutively in Hard (techincally it's possible to do so but I don't really recommend doing this since you do this once every 2 or whatever measures which is pretty frequent)
    2. Do the jump before the NC which is the indicator of the difference in distance, it might be intuitively playable since you're doing this consistently but it's also outright confusing at the same time.
  2. 00:22:633 (2,3,1) - 00:30:075 (2,3,1) - You're giving out the same visual spacing with different beat snaps which is confusing. I read your older mod replies which you seemed to nerfed this to some extent already but it's still not enough, probably need a more noticeable indication for those jumps. 00:23:563 (3,1) - Swapping NC on these might work to some extent, you can do it any other way too if you can come up with something better to indicate that 00:23:563 (3,1) is a jump and has different beat spacing than 00:22:633 (2,3) . Same also applies to whenever you did this in other measures as well.
  3. 00:51:936 (1,2,3) - 00:54:029 (1,2,3) - Are you not going to use the same rhythm between measures like what you did in other diffs?
  4. 00:59:377 (1) - Vocal faded out midway of the slider so 2 circles could work better.
  5. 01:01:238 (1,2) - Using 4 circles would fit better than jumps, you're already using jumps on downbeats so forcing another one here would be confusing and not really intuitive in gameplay.
  6. 01:02:401 (1,2) - This shouldn't be a jump really, you're forcing consecutive jumps 01:02:401 (1,2,1) which is uhhh as explained before, could do something else with 01:02:401 (1,2) if you wish to emphasize them, stacking 01:02:401 (1) on 01:02:633 (2) could work, changing 01:02:401 (1,2) to a 1/2 repeat slider could work as well, there are a number of ways to do this, so up to you then.
  7. 01:16:354 (1,2,3) - 01:17:284 (4,5,6) - You shouldn't do the same pattern twice if they're not based on the same instruments zzz, actually in other diffs you never do this kind of thing so I wonder why you did it here.
  8. 01:21:703 (1,2) - Move this so that the head of 01:22:401 (2) will be stacked under the tail of 01:20:308 (2) ? The visual spacing on 01:20:308 (2,1) seems unintentionally uneven compared to how you visually spaced 01:19:843 (1,2,3) - 01:19:843 (1,4) . You have to move things around a bit too if you apply this so take note of that.
  9. 01:24:494 (2,3,1) - Same consecutive jumps thing as mentioned before zz
  10. 01:42:168 (1) - 01:55:191 (1) - 1.3 DS pls
  11. 01:44:610 - 01:45:540 - I wouldn't put strong bell hitsounds on blue ticks lol. Hitsounding is not just about putting them on where the sound exists, it's also about providing appropriate feedback when clicked in game play. If your hitsounds fail to do so, then you should do something with them.
  12. 01:57:750 (2,3) - Not the most intuitive rhythm choice to do so, you're starting off the measure with the same rhythms 01:57:052 (1,2) as others but you moved 01:57:750 (2) to the red tick which can be confusing since you suddenly broke the consistency from other measures without any real change from the song itself, if you want to emphasize 01:58:215 (3) then doing something like this would be much more suitable to vocals.
Even though I mentioned many times about how I disagreed with doing consecutive (2+) jumps in a row in Hard, I still found them somewhat acceptable for those you've done in kiai since it's supposed to be the most intense section in the song and the rhythm used is repetitive enough to be intuitive while playing.

[Light Insane]

  1. 00:23:796 (3) - Shouldn't have the same shape as 00:22:168 (1,2) since it's musically different from those two.
  2. 00:38:680 (1) - Same as above I guess, actually the NC here is inconsistent with 00:23:796 (3) .
  3. 00:28:912 (1) - 00:43:796 (3) - NC thing again zzzzzzz
  4. 00:57:517 - Clap is missing.
  5. Actually I'm too tired so I'm gonna stop here lol, I only skimmed this diff a bit though, also I'm curious on what is your spacing concept(like, how do you space objects in each sections) in this diff, would you mind elaborate?
As far as I have modded on lower diffs so far, overall the mapset is actually pretty good lmao. I can see these diffs are interesting and well-thought, keep that up. Could do some more polishing on aesthetics to make things more consistent though, good luck~

00:17:052 (1,2,3) - I would use 1.2 distance snap here too, it's only slight but makes a small difference.
00:40:075 (1,2) - Spacing looks like too much for hard.
00:43:796 (1,2) - Same here.
00:47:517 (1,2) - And here (won't add any more of these, you get it by now)
01:59:610 (2,3) - These 2 need better placement

Light Insane
00:53:796 (1) - Look at the spacing here and then here 00:56:587 (3) - the song doesn't change but the spacing does, keep it consistent. "Avoid major composition differences in similar sections of a song. The basic spacing and rhythm should be similar, while patterning can vary. This ensures that rhythm and intensity in all similar sections reflect a song similarly." - Ranking criteria.

Insane
01:16:819 (1,2,3,4,5) - The tempo of the song doesn't increase enough to justify this spacing.

I'd like to reduce the ryhthm to make this part "slow down" since the music is softer than another part. I like to see the kind of changing for maps.

@Emilia: fixed some ryhthm errors. I think the slider looks fine.

@squirrelpascals: fixed the triplets, pattern for Insane, changed the slider shape for Light Insane, fixed the spaces between objects and fixed the rhythms for Hard. About Light Insane you mentioned, I'd like to make more 1/1 ryhthms to express the song and this diff bcz I like the style tho.

@Electoz: fixed all except:
00:49:843 (2,1) - Not really recommend breaking DS for the sake of visuals, since you don't usually blanket stuff like this so this one looks inconsistently done compared to other things in the diff. it looks fine for me.

And about Hard diff: After your suggestion I adusted some stuff to make some patterns more sense and looked better. I use jumps basic on some strong beats, like strong vocals and claps. Also according to the music is going, changing the rhythm for different part to compare with the others works well to me, same as Insane and Light Insane, so I'd like to keep some patterns and jumps I previous made.

Im really not sure about this normal diff tho? I think first of all you should adapt your DS so that 1/2 gaps dont just barely overlap so like either boosting it just a little so that the have a small space between them or reducing it to make a nicer overlap. Then for the rhythm choices I feel like you leave a lot of huge gap because its a normal and stuff but thats not really necessary to leave so many huge 2/1 gap everywhere. You can fill most of them with atleast a 1/1 slider end would already be much better. Also some places you could add 1/2 slider to catch vocals maybe, you kinda only used 1/2 to catch those clap sounds 01:35:889 (5) - but I feel vocals are often stronger in the song and you kinda just ignore them a lot? So that would also help this diff a lot. Unless you want to make an Easy diff then like the 1/2 stuff is meh :/

@Shanipika : about what you described to Normal. I'd say it's personal taste and feeling. I did many rhythm changing with 2/1, 1/1 and a bit 1/2 to the Normal. using 2/1 made this diff not only easier but more difficult since you don't click too much beats in the same time (easier) but you need to read more careful (more difficult), it's interesting to me. Also, the Normal is lowest diff, it's necessary to skip beats so I couldn't follow every beats for the song. Maybe you want to see higher* Normal to follow every beats but no, I don't want to do this for Normal. I'd say why you don't just play 3*↑ Hard or something ? :P I think those claps are strong enough to follow every of them. That's my taste :P anyway Thank you for mod ! :)

I think renaming the Insane to "Lunatic" and the Light Insane to "Insane" makes more sense to how the difficulty name in touhou maps is structured, we don't really see the combination with Light Insane and Insane in any touhou maps xD.

you could've finished mapping at 02:02:633 - because the feed out at 02:15:889 - feels awkward, well I don't really care much though!

01:10:075 (7) - unstack and place this in the equal spacing like 01:03:098 (1,2,3,4,5) - is, I don't really think this stack works well here lol.

I'm not against the idea at all, but having insane-ish jumps in an ar6 map may be really cancerous. you could try to decrease the spacing where have a 1/2 jump such as 00:21:470 (1,2) -, 00:23:563 (1,2) -, 00:25:424 (2) - etc.. nerfing the 1/2 jumps wouldn't hurt you much if the patterns are similar. 01:07:517 (2,3,4,5) - this pattern will be extremely harder if the 1/2 jumps were as it is lol.
the fact above makes the set a bit further from ranking section because the concept is fundamentally something that should be introduced in Insane+ diff.

these x2 1/2 sliders combo is the only thing that might be "too hard" in this difficulty a.k.a the lowest diff, the rest seems fine.
02:03:563 - the outro here has very weird rhythm imo, in this difficulty 2/1 blanks were not common at all but all of sudden you have a lot of it in the ending of the map, maybe fulfill the 2/1 blanks by circles or whatever.

I still have things to write up here about the rankability thing but posting the main concerns for now :P great set except the unrankable things!! hit me up once you are done with this and the other mods

you need the . in the end of the source :P

https://delisha.s-ul.eu/enHXBRGS replace the soft-sliderslide files with them, I don't think it would be a big problem but we're recommended to use the official blank files which are 44bytes so.

00:20:308 (5) - in dream117er's diff it's still suspicious you can delete the slider tick that the pic indicates for him lol

that's it from me, I think the outro in normal would be nice if you mapped the rhythm denser like this it works better with the rest in this diff.
