Here we go.

[General]:
  1. While your offset settings suit you okay, it would be much better if you used offset 56. I don't play or mod taiko (I do take a look and say some stuff sometimes though), but many taiko maps start exactly when any kind of music starts, there is no delay at the start, atleast from what I know.
  2. Add "ending" without quotes to tags, as this is an ED from one piece.
[Hard]:
  1. AR+2. AR5 is something you would want in a normal diff, with faster notes and this low AR it becomes really hard to read stuff. AR7 fits the map nicely.
  2. 00:12:056 (2) - Add a finish to this circle.
  3. 00:30:056 (1) - Finish on the start of the slider.
  4. 00:32:868 (1,2,3) - Fix these so they look something like this. Currently they look really ugly.
  5. 00:36:056 - I think you should map this break, your song is already quite short and there is no real physical need to have a break at all, also there is nice music here you can map.
  6. 00:54:618 - I strongly suggest to add a note here. Sounds really good.
  7. 01:03:431 - Same here, add a note and place a clap on it.
  8. 01:06:056 (1) - Instead of this spinner, have a circle with a finish on this timeline. Move the spinner to 01:06:243 and make it end like it ends currently.
[Normal]:
  1. AR+1. AR3 feels kinda slow and you get too much stuff on screen.
  2. 00:12:056 (1) - Add a finish on the start of the slider.
  3. 00:17:493 (7) - Maybe turn this circle into a slider which ends at 00:17:681? Sounds better and is not really hard. Also put a clap on the end of the slider.
  4. 00:30:056 (1) - Finish on the start of the slider.
  5. 00:36:056 - Same thing as in your hard, you should map this break.
  6. 00:54:618 - Add a note, circle maybe and stack it on top of the previous note. Fix the spacings of the next combo afterwards.
  7. 01:06:056 - Just like in Hard, place a circle with a finish here and shift the spinner after it, just don't forget to adjust the spinner end properly.
[Shining Taiko]:
  1. I'm no taiko expert but maybe you should just take this as an advice. Use offset 56 for all diffs and start the taiko from the start. Don't forget lead in.
That's about it, a fairly short mod because the map is really short and it looks clean more or less. I strongly suggest to map that break though, the scores seem low as well. Technically the diff spread is alright, so you may not really need an easier diff, but you should take it into consideration because your normal is above 3 stars rated, and in most cases not having a below 3 star rating map is unrankable (there are exceptions obviously).

Alright, quick IRC mod before you had to leave, savelog's down there since I couldn't really find anything else on your Taiko, this is actually pretty good map-wise, nice Muzukashii you mapped there, good job. It's true that it could base itself on the drums a bit more, but that's actually quite well done for your first Taiko (I assume it is since you didn't know about the Taiko Guidelines.)

I do not mod the taiko map in itself because I'm bad at it and it's pretty much fine BUT:
00:23:118 (5) - That slider end is snapped to 1/4 which sounds terrible and probably plays too. I'd suggest shortening it (or lengthening it) to a 1/2.

So yeah in a nutshell it's pretty good for your first taiko, and I'd like to encourage you to make more now that you've learned about the Taiko Guidelines, so here's a star for you.

This mod is rather short and shabby, so I'm perfectly fine if you decide not to give me kudosu. Up to you. :p

EDIT: 01:09:243 - Kiai flashes are forbidden in Taiko difficulties, please remove it.

00:51:431(4)- New combo, to make it the same as the later part of the map.

Normal:
00:38:493 (1) - From the whole front part, this slider seems to be out of pattern, want to make it symmetric as the others?
00:53:681 (5) - Dangerous trick

Hard: Seems to have no problem :D

I didn't change any of this because of the way the song was sung, each line starts 1/2 a beat early. Thus, following the vocals, my combos are correct.

In general, I really like this map. I just think that you could use some more hitsounds--mostly claps at the start of Normal and whistles during kiai time. For the whistles, I'll just mention them in [Insane] as a rough guide. Hopefully, this post isn't too confusing to read, but feel free to ignore the more elaborate parts.

[Insane]

Definitely stick with AR8, because it suits the tempo better, distinguishes this from [Hard] and makes that one back-and-forth thing easier to read.

00:17:518 (8,9,10)- I think that this would play and read better as an actual pattern, instead of a back-and forth. With AR7, this actually confused me a little bit, but then I was feeling pretty hazy at the time. Here's what I came up with:


00:36:655 (3)- I would make this slider curve more, so that it doesn't create an overlap. Not a big thing, but then it didn't take me long to modify this. Also, moving (4) away from the slider's end could be nice as well. See here:


00:45:098 (1,2,3)- Finishes and turn this into an actual pattern; preferably, one which rises. Feels like that'd be appropriate for the rising synth strings or whatever they are.

00:48:100- From here, I'd try to use some whistles. I came up with with whistles at the following times:

00:49:600- on the end of (2)
00:50:726- (6)
00:51:664- the entire slider (4)
00:52:602- (1)
00:53:165- the entire slider (3)
00:56:355- start and middle of (6)
00:58:606- start of (5)
00:59:357- the entire slider (1)

Similar pattern for everything up to last spinner and possibly something similar for the other difficulties. I know that this might be a bit overdone, but I felt like being specific, in case you couldn't imagine how the whistles could be applied.

00:59:357 (1)- by the way, associate this with one of the combos around it. I suggest removing the new combo.

[Hard]

I'll also mention whistles here, if only for this slider so that you know what I'm on about.

00:49:600 (3)- This entire slider would be perfect for a whistle.
00:52:602 (1)- Also here and (2)?
01:01:608 (4)- A whistle here would be nice.
01:04:610 (1,2)- Whistles here? They wouldn't sound offensive on the sliders in this map in the slightest imo.
01:09:113 (4)- I'd definitely remove the clap from this.

Everything else is fine.

[Normal]

00:13:015 (2)- Add a clap here and on every similar instance of this. Basically, every red tick after the sliders. I shouldn't need to list everything for this. I assume that you want to save the claps for kiai, but the start sounds pretty bland without them and I already suggested the use of whistles anyway.

[Easy]

00:12:077 (1)- Claps on the ends of these long sliders. Same principle as [Normal].

00:23:709 (4;1)- Finish on slider end; slider start.

00:29:713 (4;1)- Finish on slider end; slider start.

00:37:030 (1)- Clap on end to spice it up and complement the snare.

00:37:405 (2)- Finish on start to spice it up and complement the vocal stress.

[SHIIIINING TAIKO]

Okay, so I decided to suggest a couple of things for this, even though I don't know much about taiko mapping.

00:36:092 (1)- Big don here.

00:56:542 (7)- I don't know if this would flout the sacred authentic TnT rules, but this should be moved 1/4 later.

01:09:113 (1,2,3)- Big dons here.

I could get picky about the placement of other sounds, but I won't.
