2017-03-31 23:31 Protastic101: friend!
2017-03-31 23:32 qqqant: :0!!!
2017-03-31 23:32 Protastic101: link me the map
2017-03-31 23:32 qqqant: okie one sec
2017-03-31 23:33 qqqant: https://osu.ppy.sh/b/1244760
2017-03-31 23:33 Protastic101: gdi nanahira
2017-03-31 23:33 qqqant: lol we could always do the other one
2017-03-31 23:34 Protastic101: nah, this is fine
2017-03-31 23:34 Protastic101: last diff?
2017-03-31 23:34 qqqant: ye
2017-03-31 23:34 qqqant: wait no
2017-03-31 23:34 qqqant: advanced
2017-03-31 23:35 Protastic101: ah ok
2017-03-31 23:37 Protastic101: 00:15:681 (15681|1,15741|2,15801|3,15861|2,15921|1) - and 00:16:041 (16041|2,16101|1,16161|0,16221|1,16281|2) - whew, ok, right off the bat you tried to kill the players lol
2017-03-31 23:37 qqqant: XD lol rip
2017-03-31 23:37 qqqant: what do i do for dat one
2017-03-31 23:38 Protastic101: Alright, since the BPM's really high, what you wanna try and do is keep the bursts monodirectional
2017-03-31 23:38 Protastic101: by this, I mean avoid turning the notes at places like 00:15:741 (15741|2,15801|3,15861|2) - or 00:16:101 (16101|1,16161|0,16221|1) - where the direction of the notes changes
2017-03-31 23:38 qqqant: ah i see
2017-03-31 23:38 Protastic101: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7707768 so instead, you'll have something kind of like this
2017-03-31 23:39 Protastic101: this way it's easier to play since the player has momentum already from the previous few notes, and it isn't wasted on turning direction
2017-03-31 23:39 qqqant: ah i see
2017-03-31 23:39 Protastic101: god what is this bpm
2017-03-31 23:40 Protastic101: my pc is just dying
2017-03-31 23:40 qqqant: rip
2017-03-31 23:41 Protastic101: 00:20:781 (20781|1,20841|0,20901|1) - similarly, try to keep this direction turn away from the LN release since it's a bit harder to time that way due to the tigher timing windows to hbit
2017-03-31 23:41 Protastic101: to hit*
2017-03-31 23:42 Protastic101: 00:00:183 - btw, you can delete this timing point since there's no sounds or anything here
2017-03-31 23:42 Protastic101: ehhh, also, you're gonna need to equalize all your BPMs so that the scroll speed isn't falling like molasses in the beginning
2017-03-31 23:43 qqqant: oh
2017-03-31 23:43 Protastic101: the way you do this is pretty easy, all you gotta do is take base bpm / current bpm. In this case 500/65 = 7.692 SV
2017-03-31 23:44 qqqant: yeah i had that originally actually
2017-03-31 23:44 Protastic101: Also, are you sure the BPM is 500 and not 250?
2017-03-31 23:44 qqqant: yes
2017-03-31 23:45 Protastic101: I'm pretty sure it's 250 since the 1/2 is played just like 1/4 bursts and the calmer section at 00:37:641 - should be 2/1 not 4/1
2017-03-31 23:45 Protastic101: eh, anyways, just figure out the proper SV for all your BPM changes
2017-03-31 23:46 qqqant: it should be 500
2017-03-31 23:46 qqqant: bc the sdvx timing says 500
2017-03-31 23:47 Protastic101: 00:00:644 - this is more just my opinion, but for this section, rather than focusing on the vocals, I would consider mapping to the steady 1/3 rhythm, like so https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7707807
2017-03-31 23:47 Protastic101: rip sdvx timing
2017-03-31 23:48 Protastic101: I'm pretty sure Blastix is the same though, in that the timing on the SDVX thing is doubled, but Chicken just halved it
2017-03-31 23:48 qqqant: oh
2017-03-31 23:50 Protastic101: 00:21:321 - ok, so starting here, I wanna mention the relationship between direciton and snap.
2017-03-31 23:50 Protastic101: 00:21:441 (21441|1,21561|0,21681|3,21741|2,21801|1) - these two sets of notes are going in the same direction right? This is all cool and dandy on lower BPMs, but considering this is 500 bpm, a player can easily misread the snaps on this and mistake it for a clean and uniform roll
2017-03-31 23:51 Protastic101: what I suggest to try and avoid this is to change the flow direction whenever the snap changes, like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7707825
2017-03-31 23:52 Protastic101: 00:23:481 (23481|3,23601|2,23661|3) - yeah, especially this, stuff like this makes me aaaaaaaaa
2017-03-31 23:52 Protastic101: I miss every time trying to hit it as a uniform 1/1
2017-03-31 23:53 qqqant: rip
2017-03-31 23:54 Protastic101: also, to answer the question you posted on your map thread, yes, using 1/2 is ok in the advanced difficulty, although I would tone it down just a bit and make mostly 1/1 usage instead
2017-03-31 23:54 qqqant: ah ok thank you
2017-03-31 23:55 Protastic101: so like these monodirectional bursts here 00:17:481 (17481|3,17541|2,17601|1,17661|0,17721|3,17781|2,17841|1,17901|0) - are :ok_hand: since their direction doesnt change at all
2017-03-31 23:55 qqqant: ah
2017-03-31 23:55 Protastic101: 00:21:321 - but like in this section where direction is kind of all over the place, yeah, try to stick to 1/1 if possible, with maybe a few 1/2 bursts at the end of the measure like at 00:27:561 -
2017-03-31 23:56 Protastic101: does that clear some stuff up for you or you still got questions?
2017-03-31 23:57 qqqant: that really helped
2017-03-31 23:57 qqqant: although i didnt really have the editor open
2017-03-31 23:57 Protastic101: lmfao
2017-03-31 23:57 Protastic101: gdi XD
2017-03-31 23:57 qqqant: u could copy it onto the thread
2017-03-31 23:57 Protastic101: Don't really think it was that much to say, but ok

Remove the timing points at 00:00:183 - , it is unnecessary

Unncessary, but you can add this into tag too : Riot Destrudo

COLUMN 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
BASIC
First, i suggest to buff this diff up to around 1.2-1.3* by adding some note in 2/1 snap(at 500 bpm, which you usually map at 4/1 snap here) and in 4/1 snap(at 999 bpm, which you usually map at 8/1 snap here)
00:02:490 (2490|3) - Move to column 3
00:07:413 (7413|2,7721|3) - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/7881366

ADVANCED
00:18:441 (18441|1) - move to column 1

MAXIMUM mod soon but im going to ded now so ;^)

applied everything except-

removing timing point- I removed it, and then when I tested it, it went really slowly in the beginning (pic)

this is the only solution I have at the moment ;w;

and your very last suggestion in ADVANCED - I changed it to something that I personally thought was better

thank u for mod <3

tell me if anything can't be applied owo I'm always open to polite constructive criticism to correct my n00by views OWO :) I'm just trying to mod some minor trips in pitch relevancy and the rough feel of the map in correspondence to the song. It's one of my first times modding anything. If I'm doing anything wrong about PR let me know D:

COLUMN 0 | 1 | 2 | 3

Basic
00:00:644 (644|1,1567|3,2490|2) - Personally prefer note columns to be changed to correspond with the bass notes for pitch relevancy
00:05:259 (5259|1,6182|3) - Maybe swap these 2 columns too, for the same reason as above
00:08:952 (8952|3,9875|0,10798|2) - Change to hold notes? to give that beat some resonance in correspondence to the song
00:51:081 (51081|1,51081|0) - Same as above suggestion for same reason.
01:28:521 (88521|0,89481|1) - Also can change to hold notes?

Novice
00:13:630 (13630|3,13811|2) - Can swap columns for PR
00:49:161 (49161|1,49161|2) - Change to hold notes? for the same beat resonance feel
00:51:081 (51081|2,51081|3) - Same as above
00:53:001 (53001|3,53001|0) - am I very picky on this kek Same as above xd
01:49:116 (109116|3,109237|2,109357|1,109477|0) - Maybe move the notes so that they go from left to right corresponding to the increasing vocal pitch
01:54:207 (114207|1,114389|0,114570|2) - Can change columns according to increasing vocal pitch

Advanced
00:29:361 (29361|0,29481|1) - Swap both note columns for PR
00:29:721 (29721|2,29841|3) - Same as above, so they flow and transition well to the strong beat afterwards
00:49:161 (49161|3,49161|0) - Maybe hold notes for this to bring out the resonant beat, again
00:51:081 (51081|3,51081|0) - Same as above x)
01:44:672 (104672|0,104792|1) - Swap both note columns too for PR
01:45:032 (105032|2,105153|3) - Same as above so the notes here transition well to the stream after that^^

Other than those common parts that I've been picky over these 3 difficulties FORGIVE ME, this one felt especially good to play :D way to go ant

Exhaust
00:29:441 (29441|2,29561|3) - Maybe swap both note columns for PR
00:51:081 (51081|1,51081|3,51081|0) - This one bugged me a bit, mainly because it was hard to read this chord after the first chord, especially when both chords use the same columns. If one of the hold notes could be changed to column 2, it would be better! owo (Another option would be to have a substantially bigger gap to be easier to read both chords)

I especially love this difficulty as much as the ADV one. The feel of the map corresponding to the song is just so natural and flowing. :D

Maximum
00:13:630 (13630|3,13811|2) - Personally would swap note columns for PR again :")
00:29:721 (29721|0) - Would move note to column 3 to balance out the mapping of jumps here since 500 bpm 1/2 snap used here might be a bit fast imo
00:29:841 (29841|3) - I would move this to column 1, same reason as above
00:49:161 (49161|1,49161|3,49161|0) - Maybe add hold notes here for the resonance again, plus there isn't any note to hit within the next few beats. It's just to keep the fingers occupied for a bit xd
00:51:081 (51081|2,51081|0,51081|3) - Same here, for the same reason :"D

YAY OK this one was a bit jumptrilly but still fun owo :D

OK THERE AAAAAAAA

Again all these stuff I suggested can be open to being rejected but with a constructive reason that can help me improve at modding and mapping too :D Kudos to you and way to go ant

00:51:081 (51081|1,51081|0) - Same as above suggestion for same reason. applied
01:28:521 (88521|0,89481|1) - Also can change to hold notes? the player would have to lift at a certain time im not really sure if that would be allowed in a basic map so ill keep it this way, if someone else mentions it and says its fine for basic player i will change it

will ask mentos to look over the mod

01:45:032 (105032|2,105153|3) - Same as above so the notes here transition well to the stream after that^^

everything applied :D

Other than those common parts that I've been picky over these 3 difficulties FORGIVE ME, this one felt especially good to play :D way to go ant :D thank you!!

will ask virtue to look over the mod also

Maximum
00:13:630 (13630|3,13811|2) - Personally would swap note columns for PR again :") applied
00:29:721 (29721|0) - Would move note to column 3 to balance out the mapping of jumps here since 500 bpm 1/2 snap used here might be a bit fast imo
00:29:841 (29841|3) - I would move this to column 1, same reason as above ya instead of applying this i just flipped it lol ah that sounds okay too
00:49:161 (49161|1,49161|3,49161|0) - Maybe add hold notes here for the resonance again, plus there isn't any note to hit within the next few beats. It's just to keep the fingers occupied for a bit xd applied for columns 0 and 3 for consistency with the other ln hold
00:51:081 (51081|2,51081|0,51081|3) - Same here, for the same reason :"D applied same as above

YAY OK this one was a bit jumptrilly but still fun owo :D owo jumptrills

OK THERE AAAAAAAA

Again all these stuff I suggested can be open to being rejected but with a constructive reason that can help me improve at modding and mapping too :D Kudos to you and way to go ant  thank you for mod! <3

tell me if anything can't be applied owo I'm always open to polite constructive criticism to correct my n00by views OWO :) I'm just trying to mod some minor trips in pitch relevancy and the rough feel of the map in correspondence to the song. It's one of my first times modding anything. If I'm doing anything wrong about PR let me know D:

COLUMN 0 | 1 | 2 | 3

Exhaust
00:29:441 (29441|2,29561|3) - Maybe swap both note columns for PR what?
00:51:081 (51081|1,51081|3,51081|0) - This one bugged me a bit, mainly because it was hard to read this chord after the first chord, especially when both chords use the same columns. If one of the hold notes could be changed to column 2, it would be better! owo (Another option would be to have a substantially bigger gap to be easier to read both chords) well yeah, sorry for this. i'll shorten the first triple so it's easier.

I especially love this difficulty as much as the ADV one. The feel of the map corresponding to the song is just so natural and flowing. :D

Raveille
the only KAC 6 song I dislike. urgh

HEAVENLY
00:24:561 - you are missing an LN (or note, not too sure) here
00:28:401 - ^
00:28:881 (28881|3) - extend this to 00:29:121 - ?
00:35:241 (35241|3,35481|0) - make these 2 LNs, snap them to 00:35:481 - and 00:35:721 -
00:47:121 - this sound can be a double
00:59:481 (59481|2,59721|1) - ctrl+h this, 00:59:961 (59961|2) - move this to 2, 01:00:201 (60201|1,60201|0,60441|2,60441|1,60681|0) - ctrl+j this, then 00:59:961 (59961|3,60201|1,60201|0) - ctrl+h this, then 01:00:441 (60441|2) - move this to 2. pitch relevancy!!!
and then this song goes to shit
01:39:867 - missing LN/note here
01:43:711 - ^
01:44:312 - add a note at 1, 01:44:432 - add a note at 4
01:44:912 (104912|2) - LN to 01:45:032 -

Exhaust
00:04:952 (4952|2,5105|1,5259|3) - move 1st note to column 3, 2nd to column 1, 3rd to column 2 for pitch relevancy to vocal

01:29:481 (89481|2,89481|3,89481|0) - Same as above

Gravity
00:12:721 (12721|2,13084|1) - 1st LN on column 1, 2nd on column 2. Basically swap for PR
01:22:641 (82641|1,83001|2,83241|3) - :? Rearranging LN from right to left for PR. But you'll have to change other click notes accordingly too

Hitsounds! I said I'd do them last night but I procrastinated! hue
Also, denied kudosu above since it's only one kudosu per post in a thread. So like, doing a remod doesn't get kudosu (which means this post doesn't get kudosu either)

*boop*
[General]
  1. So the background is pretty small and thus looks pretty blurry in game. I upscaled it with waifu2x here so now it's 1500x1200 https://puu.sh/vuUwM.jpg
  2. https://puu.sh/vuV4f.zip Here's all the samples you'll be using. I'll explain where they go in a sec
  3. Increase sample volume to 40% at least, but 50% is preferable since it's easier to hear samples without becoming deafening.
[Hitsounds based on highest diff]
The first thing you'll need to do is switch the sampleset in the timing menu from N to N:C1. This will enable you to use the custom hs in the .zip I sent. Also, keep in mind that there should never be two of the same samples at the same point in time since volumes are additive, so if you had two normal-hitwhistles play at once at 40% for example, the total volume would add up to be 80% which wouldn't be as fun because then it gets inconsistent!

Starting with the soft-hitnormal. This plays during calm sections of the song such as the beginning and end at like 00:00:644 (644|1,1875|2,2182|2,2490|1,3105|3,3721|1,4029|2,4336|3,4952|2,6490|3) - with the steady 1/3 rhythm in the harmony (not the vocals basically). The way to apply the soft sampleset without having to sample import is through the drop down menu on the center left hand of the screen. Just highlight your notes and select "Soft" like this https://puu.sh/vuVwc.jpg

The normal-hitwhistle is a heavy kick and goes at places like 00:15:561 (15561|3,15681|1,15741|0,15801|3,15861|2,15921|1,16041|2,16101|3,16161|1,16221|0,16281|3,16401|1,16461|3,16521|1,16581|3,16641|1,16761|2,16821|0,16881|2,16941|0,17001|2) - where there's just incredibly fast rolls and stuff. It's pretty much the sample you'll be using the most throughout the song.
It'll also be used in places like 00:17:481 (17481|2,17541|1,17601|2,17661|1,17721|2,17781|1,17841|2,17901|1,17961|2) - or 00:18:441 (18441|1,18501|2,18561|1,18621|2,18681|1,18741|2,18801|1,18861|2,18921|1) - where's it's like jumptrill galore. Pretty much any heavy sounding kick will use the whistle

The normal-hitclap is used more for places like 00:19:401 (19401|2,19461|1,19521|0,19581|1,19641|2,19761|1,19821|2,19881|3,19941|2,20001|1,20121|3,20151|2,20181|1,20211|0,20241|3,20271|2,20301|1,20331|0) - where the sound is lighter and much faster than the 16th note kicks previously highlighted. Also works in places like 00:23:001 (23001|0,23031|1,23061|2,23091|3,23121|0,23151|1,23181|2,23211|3) - where it's just a straight up buzz kind of sound since kicks would be too loud and obnoxious for it.

00:37:641 - In this section, things are switched up a little. You'll be using a combination of the normal-hitwhistle and the normal-hitfinish (the hitfinish is kind of like a compressed version of the kick). So the rhythm is heavy kick - light kick - heavy kick - light kick. Basically 00:37:641 (37641|0,38601|0,39561|1,40521|1,41481|0,42441|1) - are whistles, and 00:38:121 (38121|0,39081|1,40041|1,41001|0,41961|1,42921|3) - are finishes

https://puu.sh/vuWwa.wav Here's a bonus hitsound (not sure if it's entirely the right pitch since I pitched it in like 10 seconds), but if you used it, it'd go at 01:28:521 (88521|1,89481|0,90338|0,90725|0,91112|0,91464|1) - . You can rename it to soft-hitfinish or something so that you can use the drop down menu to apply it, or you can just leave it as is and sample import it through control + shift + I at 50%

Hitsounds! I said I'd do them last night but I procrastinated! hue
Also, denied kudosu above since it's only one kudosu per post in a thread. So like, doing a remod doesn't get kudosu (which means this post doesn't get kudosu either)

[General]

You can rename it to soft-hitfinish or something so that you can use the drop down menu to apply it, or you can just leave it as is and sample import it through control + shift + I at 50%
Thank you so much!! Before, I tried to figure out hitsounds on my own but now I finally get it ;w;

01:46:279 (106279|1) - move the note to 01:46:294 -

Also , i suggest to make the sv in Basic be all x1.00 (so the multiplier should be 500/BPM for all green line)

00:24:861 (24861|3) - move to 00:24:921 as there is much stronger sound at that place
00:39:081 (39081|2) - meybe move to 3 to balance the pattern a bit more
01:15:831 - meybe make the pattern look something like thisbecause the music changes at that part
01:21:441 - meybe make it double
01:37:585 - why double note?
EXHAUST
00:21:321 - that pattern is uncomfortable to play, meybe make it something like this?
