00:43:156 - If you want this to average 1x, the 1.0x SVs should be changed to 0.77x or whatever that value I gave you in the beginning was. Too lazy to check

00:44:793 (44793|2) - It'd be ok to remove this note and instead add an SV here for the LN where it gradually slows down. Something like this would be nice

00:44:429 - Similarly, I might try something close to the above since this sound is also a bit jumpy. Could do a half and half with something light like 0.7x

01:26:429 - I would suggest making the SV jump here much stronger since there are 1/2 kicks instead of the normal 1/1. Maybe an increase to 1.75x - 0.25x would work.

03:21:702 - Honestly, I would nerf the hell out of these SVs. The jump is way too large for 1/8 and it makes reading pretty much impossible since the player barely has any time to react. At most, I'd just reduce it to 1.5x and 0.5x.

03:19:156 - Going off the above, I would make this 1.25x and 0.75x for a bit easier readability since the fact that this isn't a perfect jumptrill or a perject mini jack makes reading 10x harder and actually executing the pattern kind of a random mash of keys hoping you hit at the right time.

This needs more diffs. The NM does suffer extremely badly from being forced to be lower than 2*.

  1. 2424*1199 is a funny background resolution. Find one that's 1366*768, or better still, 1920*1080.
  2. 0% HS vol... I don't think you can do that. Minimum 5%. Changing the sampleset to soft might help.
  3. Audio file has bitrate 320kbps. Maximum permitted is 192kbps.
  4. NM and HD need kiai times.

Aliscea's NM
OD needs to be at least 7.

Two general points, really. Not a fan of the 1/4-beat LNs in this diff (like 00:53:702 (53702|0,53975|0,54247|2,54520|2,54793|1,54975|2)) and putting a note or another LN 1/4 of a beat after an LN (like 00:34:429 (34429|2,34793|2) or 01:32:611 (92611|1,92975|1)). I'm not going to mention this in the mod below, but go through the map with this in mind and make any changes if necessary.

The mod is made with the thought in mind that this will remain beneath 2*. Hopefully this isn't the case.

Something that actually came up in the #osumania chat today, using loads of LNs can boost SR by a significant amount.

  1. 00:04:247 (4247|0,4611|0,4975|0) - Not wrong, but a bit bland. I'd follow the lead. Same with 00:07:156 (7156|3,7520|3,7884|3). And 00:10:065 (10065|2,10429|2,10793|2). And 00:12:975 (12975|3,13338|3,13702|3)...
  2. 00:36:065 (36065|0,36156|3,36429|0) - Map all the 1/4s in between these?
  3. 00:40:975 (40975|1,41065|3,41247|2,41429|2,41611|0,41702|3,41702|1) - You're highlighting the syncopation here, but I think mapping only think isn't a good idea. How about something like this?
  4. 00:46:611 (46611|3) - Start at 00:46:702?
  5. 00:48:247 (48247|1) - Map the 1/4s instead?
  6. 01:02:065 (62065|3) - Not technically wrong, but very boring. Consider mapping more here.
  7. 01:22:429 (82429|3) - ^
  8. 01:38:702 (98702|1,98975|2,99429|3) - I understand what you're trying to do with these LNs... but I don't think it works. Consider using just normal notes for this.
  9. Note at 01:45:156?
  10. 02:11:884 (131884|1) - Holding this note for 10 seconds is not very interesting, really. Consider mapping more in this section.
Honestly, I can't point out much more than this because of the 2* limit. Most of this is really superficial because the way it is currently mapped doesn't fit the difficulty. More denser areas like 03:07:884 (187884|3,188005|2,188126|0,188247|1,188368|2,188490|3,188611|1,188611|0,188975|2,188975|3,189156|1,189156|0,189429|0,189429|1,189702|2,189702|3) would be better for this map. (And for this to be around 2.3-2.6*)

03:19:156 - Going off the above, I would make this 1.25x and 0.75x for a bit easier readability since the fact that this isn't a perfect jumptrill or a perject mini jack makes reading 10x harder and actually executing the pattern kind of a random mash of keys hoping you hit at the right time.
