Here's my mod! Really hope more songs from ANTITHESE get mapped, I tried Tomorrowland but gave up halfway wwww

Normal
00:07:115 (2,3) - These beats are awkward and really confusing for a Normal diff. Try deleting 00:07:115 (2,3) and extending the slider to where 00:07:115 (2) was (the next red tick) and adding a beat at 00:07:630
00:12:087 (1) - Imo you shouldn't have sliders with more than one return in a Normal diff because players might get confused on where to stop
00:09:344 (1) - Same here - also, there shouldn't be a slider end where there is a cymbal crash in the song drums. Change it so there is a seperate beat for emphasis.
00:12:087 (1,2) - Same here

In general, try to fix the flow as well - your sliders are going around in circles on the screen and it doesn't look so good. Try to add blanketing.

Insane
00:06:944 (1) - Don't make this note a slider. Any other note is fine
00:10:030 (1) - Delete this
00:17:572 (9) - Don't stack this on the stacked stream.

General

  1. The first thing I notice watching this is the timing sounds off because there are two offsets for this song. I went ahead and fixed it on mine, as well as adjusting all the timing points to resnap to the timeline. You need to copy these timing points and replace them in your .osu file because having the wrong timing is unrankable. After you do this you need to resnap all objects to the new timing by highlighting them and moving them in the timeline (to the left) or by any other means you find.

Despair

  1. Mostly this map has some general issues so I will breifly go over them
  2. 00:07:082 - 00:09:824 - 00:12:567 - 00:23:539 - Normally you want to avoid ending your sliders on strong beats like this, because the way you are using slider ends is not correctly reflecting the strength of the beat it is over.
  3. 00:06:567 (1) - 00:07:939 (1) - 00:10:682 (1) - You should be controlling how you NC in such a way where its consistent to the song. right now every now and then there is some NC that doesn't quite belong like the ones I've listed, I would also like to say, if you fix the previous point like I said, those strong beats will be deserving of NC's also.
  4. Another thing I would like to point mention is the purpose of a slider. notice the sound starting here 00:23:539 - : its a vocal sound and it holds for roughly one whole beat, or until here 00:23:882 - . Usually mappers use sliders to represent the held out notes like this and will put a 1/1 slider here. A good example of this would be here 00:28:510 (3) - .m
  5. also since the offset has changed, you might need to move some timing points 1 ms back like here 00:45:653 -

Since these are much more general things to talk about, it seems like at some point you may need to remap this difficulty, even if its not right now. Its hard to give more feedback than this because fundamental ideas like these are missing, feel free to pm me any time and I will be glad to try and help as much as I can.

Despire only

00:06:515 (5) - wtf is this...... delete it
00:07:115 - clickable for this beat
this song is a typical song which shifted its downbeat ahead by 1/2 beat, so you do not have to fill the big white stick every time...
ok, your map got bigger problem than i thought, try these
00:07:630 - 00:09:858 - 00:11:401 - well... i would say that if you fail to identify the real rhythm at the beginning... you have to remap anyways...
I will give you my remapped part as a hint, and give you some idea on this I guess.

http://puu.sh/uB0tS/6cbda8a18e.osu

and here is my hint:
- 50% playback while mapping
- zoom in the timeline so you can place your notes accurately
- this song mainly has 5 tracks in most session, differentiate them:
1. drum beats: most clear beats you can catch
2. vocal: very important track to me for this song
3. guitar: minor track, but could be used for improving the diversity
4. drum scratch sounds: be careful when you try to follow this with all 1/4 streams, of other tracks are available, you should not map 1/4 all the time
5. scratch sounds: super minor tracks, should ignore unless you really feel you have to. for example: 00:26:467 - 00:25:096 -
- do not overuse repetitive pattern, this song is really good and has diverse rhythm, you should try to understand them

this song is a great piece for std mapping, it is actually easy to map once you slow down and try to understand it.
